Fantastic experience: Smiles has been our dental provider since 2011. Dr Beckman and her team along with Dr Gibbs have always been there for us. This week I had a tooth ache. I called and they were able to squeeze me in, check out what was going on and set me up with an appointment to resolve the issue quickly.. when your in pain, it nice to know you can count on the team at Smiles to help you out.. Thank you Dr Beckman and your support team. You folks are awesome.

Negative experience: I previously had a five star Only because my first experience was great!. But after a cleaning, I had to wait 2 months to start getting some work done. So I waited those 2 months and as I'm driving into the appointment that I've waited so long for they canceled. They didn't move it an hour or later in the day they canceled it. So now I'm in pain trying to find another dentist. Fourth time's a charm! I just want to feel like like I'm at her when I'm giving someone thousands of dollars to fix my teeth. But I guess they got so many customers. The little ones don't matter. Good luck if you're going here The people are nice but they ain't got time for you

I was anxious a little bit, because I went to my last dentist 30+ years and didn’t think about ever needing another dentist. After retiring in June my husband and I were needing a new dentist. Smiley’s staff and “girls at the desk area” and Sarah Gibbs DDS & MDS were “Awesome”. From Ansley at Check In whom calmed my anxiety.I love Grace! She did my exam thoroughly and professionally. She took my x-rays and let me know what to expect next so there were no surprises. Grace answered my questions I had for her at that time. Sarah ( DDS) came in and we discussed plan options, the X-ray results, any questions that I had for her. VERY NICE Experience from beginning of the appointment to the end. Thank You Smiley’s !

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience here. From the staff to the front desk everyone here was exceptional. Dr Beckton came in to introduce herself. Dicussed a future treatment plan. Was professional and thorough with her examination. I also would like to mention Kaitlyn, my hygienist, who took very good care of me, especially doing a Deep Cleaning procedure. She was sweet, and kind. I usually have anxiety going to the dentist but everyone here made me feel very comfortable on which i had very little anxiety. Highly recommend this practice!

Negative experience: I did not appreciate being instructed to send my insurance company a Attending Doctor's Statement to be reimbursed for paying the total of service rendered 7/17/25. Upon calling the company I was told that's not how things work. I should be able to trust agents of Smile.

Fantastic experience: I had a comprehensive new patient appointment yesterday. Caitlin was very professional. She collected all my medical information and medications. She did a thorough exam, xrays and scan. Then she explained a treatment plan for me. Dr. Sarah came in and checked me and the plan and made a couple of more suggestions. Fantastic experience: Smiles is as pleasant as dentistry can get. They are timely, upfront, reasonable and much more interested in your health than selling you things. It has been a 100% pain free experience over the year of treatment needed to correct many, many issues to include two crowns, several fillings and periodontal disease. Highly recommended. Follow up - a few visits since my last review with no change in the quality of service. A visit to Smiles is as pleasant as visiting the dentist can get. They get you in on time, explain what is about to be done and do it efficiently. It is always a pleasure to interact with the staff at Smiles. Positive experience: Beware the fine print on the $99 new client exam/xrays/cleaning. They will take 3 hours to do imaging and then if it's not a "prophylactic" cleaning then they won't do it. I left with an estimate for 11k for all recommended procedures. (I do understand that I needs some work however, I am not in pain nor do I have any major issues). 1. I should have been told ahead of time how long the new client appointment would take. 2. Is it really necessary to do FIVE types of imaging? 3. I had to walk away without even a basic cleaning. 4. The estimate is in very technical terms and it's hard to understand exactly what is imperative and what can wait. And honestly after 3 hours... I did not have it in me to try and go through it line item by line item. That all being said. Everyone was pleasant which is why there is a 3 star and not a 1 star review.

She diagnosed her problem and my mom left the office praising God! Esperanza her hygienist was also very attentive, professional and caring. She was a ray of sunshine! After an examination I had a consult, and they went to work later that day and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I’m no longer reluctant to smile. Negative experience: The dentist was fine the price was in the ballpark. The after care is terrible! The office staff is horrible they don't answer the phone for any reason even for emergencies. There is better out there.

Fantastic experience: It’s rare for me to leave a review but after my amazing experience I feel compelled. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you’re needing a great dentist. I know Going to the Dentist can be so scary, especially if you know you need work done. I’ve been in Palm coast for 38 years, and I have had some terrible experiences, which is why I procrastinated making a dentist appointment to fix my broken tooth which also had decay. After a month being uncomfortable, I finally decided it’s time and to suck it up..it needed to be fixed so I called Smiles on Cypress Point and explained to them my issues. They were able to get me in within a week, and soon as I arrived, I immediately noticed how clean and sanitized the place was. I arrived 30mins early because I knew I had to fill out a new patient packet which was only 3 pages, and I went to the front desk receptionist. She was so friendly so my anxiety was getting better. My appointment was at 3pm and by 3:01 I was called and taken back to a room. My hygienist first had to take photos & X-rays of the tooth which was so fast! After 10mins, Dr. Tedra Beckton & Carrie came in, they looked at all the photos, they asked me about any medical issues & pain I was having, and then they came up with plan to save my tooth and told me my options and explained them in a way anyone could understand which I greatly appreciated. The Dr suggested we do a fill, remove some of the gum that grew into the tooth, and also clean out the decayed part, and that the filling should work and will save me from getting a root canal. I was shocked when they said they could do it the same day!! That was such a plus! Of course I was scared because I’ve never had any major work done to my teeth, but they assured me I would be comfortable and well taken care of, and they kept their word! When it was time to do the procedure, Carrie brought me a heated blanket straight from the dryer because the room was chilly. She then put on some relaxing music and a video a baby animals lol..It was cute. Next she applied a topical gel to my gum to numb it..it worked! I felt nothing!! Dr. Beckton then came in and did the procedure, and within 45mins, I was done. I was in NO PAIN AT ALL!! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! I’m writing this the next day and I still have ZERO PAIN! They are absolutely amazing and if you’re in the same position as me, stop delaying, and make the appointment! You will be in the best hands. The staff literally made me not fear going to the dentist, and I will continue my oral health journey with them! Thank you to everyone who helped me yesterday! You guys are awesome!!!

Negative experience: Today was my last time with smiles. I'm very upset about it because I really like Dr. Gibbs. But I will not have their hygienists dictate my dental care. 3 yrs ago I went there for the first time and the hygienists recommended for me to get periodontal treatment for 1 tooth that was as they said was a 4, but the rest of my gums are healthy. I asked today since I just came here 6 months ago and get charged 80 dollars for this can we just do it 1 time a year. They said no because it's already in my chart so it will be illegal for the hygienists to not do it. This is ridiculous. So because of the hygienists I can't get care from The Dentist?? I do not have or ever had periodontal disease. But because one of their hygienists that is not there any more put this on my chart I can't get it off. I am very upset like I said Dr. Gibbs is a great dentist but now I will go elsewhere.

My dental hygienist Laura was AMAZING , kind educated and calmed my dental anxiety ! Explained every single part of my experience and that helped so much! Dr Gibbs was so awesome as well! Fantastic experience: For many different reasons I had not been to the dentist in over 12 years. After letting so much time go by, the thought of seeing a dentist now, not knowing what kind of issues I would be facing coupled with extreme anxiety, took a lot for me to make an appointment but I am so glad I did. I had a lot of feelings of embarrassment and shame going into the appointment but once I met the dental assistant Carrie, all that went away. Carrie went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and reassured me she was not there to judge, only to help. I really can’t say enough about how well I was treated by everyone but Carrie really made me feel so much better about everything. If you’re having anxiety or shame and putting off going to the dentist, you don’t have to. Fantastic experience: It's been a year since I had a visit at Smiles on Cypress when I got there I was greeted with a very friendly good morning to them I had an appointment at 11:30 and I was early so take your time within in 20 minutes there they called me. They took me to the dentist chair there I sat waiting when she came back she told me that my dental procedure would be 173.00 dollars which I didn't have at the time. When I ask what the insurance covers they told me. I was a little shocked and embarrassed because I couldn't afford so I had to reschedule. So my trip was a 2 hour wasted day. But other than the everyone was very friendly and professional

Negative experience: Five pages of paperwork. Wanting to know everything about you before you even get the chance to speak with anyone about anything concerning your oral health. I went in and I felt as if I was a product being moved through a production line. The individual who would have been my hygienist, barely spoke English and I had to repeat myself at least three times. I glanced down at the floors and the bases of the equipment and saw nothing but absolute filth. The chair was so uncomfortable and I felt so un- easy.... My gut told me to get up and leave. And I did. I found a much more personalized, and helpful office that was extremely clean, not crowded and I felt like an individual, not a piece of meat to be processed for cash. If you like a large crowd of people do go visit this place, if not, avoid at all costs. Follow your gut!

Negative experience: Scheduled a cleaning in June soonest appt was 1/20/25. Called me after confirming appt to reschedule for later in the day. Confirmed new time only for them to call the next day and cancel altogether. Extremely disappointed not even a sorry for the inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: It had been awhile since I was seen by a dentist due to insurance issues. The staff here are so welcoming & understanding, very helpful and friendly! I also was hesitant in going because I have anxiety about dental work but they made it so painless and easy. Very happy with this office :)
