Today, Dec 5, 2025 I Needed a replacement filling for a tooth, called them and got in same day. Dr.Castor took care of it, took only 45 minutes. Their entire staff is kind and skilled. Fantastic experience: Went to see the Million Dollar Quartet and was thrilled to see that they were selling Milk Duds in the concession stand. Haven’t had a Milk Dud since I was 12. I’m 81 now and can’t begin to tell you how great it was to pop a Milk Dud while listening to Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Johnnie Cash and Carl Perkins play live Rock and Roll music! Got home and realized my Milk Duds were left in the car in 29 degree temperature…when I tried to finish them I was appalled to realize I’d suddenly dislodged a cap to my dental implant! Oh no, now what…Christmas Parties upcoming and me with a front tooth gap you could drive a truck through. Saved by Dr. Noll! My hero. I called and he was able to see me the next day. His dental assistant , Kim, was very helpful and Dr. Noll was, as usual, professional and very pleasant. He even laughed at my old lady jokes. Now that’s worth a lot to someone whose parts seem to be falling off at a rapid pace!

Fantastic experience: From the front desk to annazing Emily I cannot say enough about this dental office. The level of empathy and compassion I received from the entire team stood out. Emily explained every step of the process never rushed, nothing was done without explaining what to expect, and she never pushed ahead to add to my anxiety or possibly injure me. If you are someone who struggles with dental anxiety, this is absolutely the place to go. Their kindness and professionalism truly made all the difference. So excited, they even said I could come back for a dental cleaning!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are new patients at Noll Family Dentistry. All of the staff, be it the front desk, hygienists or dentists, have been polite, helpful, and timely. Phone calls are returned promptly and questions are answered thoroughly. Our hygienists (Jami and Jennie) were pleasant, thorough and gentle, and our dentists (Dr. Noll and Dr. Caster) were friendly and willing to answer our questions, not rushing to move on to the next patient. We are very pleased with our experience and are definitely staying with NFD!

Fantastic experience: As new clients of Noll Family Denistry, after our former dentist cancelled our insurance, we were impressed with their thoroughness. It took a while to get the appointment but the wait was worth it. First visit included establishing background, detailed x-rays, consultation with dentist, cleaning and even a periodontal referral. It lasted about an hour. First impressions? Jack pot- we picked the right company!

Negative experience: Don’t like the fact that I pay for insurance and should get 2 cleanings a year but they are soooo booked up that they can’t ever get you in. I pay for insurance and want to go 2 times a year but they can only get you in once. Maybe try and cut back your clientele….

Negative experience: Visit was fine! I am not happy with paying for the insurance and only having 1 visit in a year. There should be a reimbursement for part of the insurance since you're paying for something (2 visits & the insurance says if you get 2, you're getting one free wih the insurance) and not getting the service..

Negative experience: Normally I wouldn’t post a comment but couldn’t help myself this time. Noll cancelled my appointment on the same day of my appointment. I had to rearrange my plans and change my appointment. A couple of weeks later I ran late for my appointment and called about an hour past my appointment. It was my fault as I lost track of time as I was helping someone. I get a call from Noll saying that they are going to charge my account $50 due to a missed appointment. I wouldn’t have an issue with as it was my fault but given that they did the same thing to me I don’t think it’s fair. Poor customer service if you ask me.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility. My 9 year old daughter was nervous but the pediatric staff made her feel comfortable during her visit to have her cavities filled. Appreciate how attentive they were to ensure she was always okay throughout. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We moved an hour away several years ago, but haven’t changed dentists because they are so great. Hygienist is very good but also very kind and understanding to those of us with dental health issues. Positive prompting without the demoralizing guilt trip, patient focused and solution focused.

Fantastic experience: First, I must say that I am terrified to go to the dentist. I just cannot stand someone in my mouth and then hearing the drill and feeling the vibration. But I found the dream team. Dr. Caster and his assistant Kim. First, they listen to me and they understood everything I told them. They were understanding, empathetic, and when having a procedure done if I even so much as jump a little, they ask if I need more Novacaine. To me, they are an amazing team and as long as I can see them., I am not afraid to have any dental procedure done. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: It's always an absolute pleasure to see Noll Family Dentistry. I've been going for a few years now (ever since I've moved to PA) and although it's a 45 minute drive away I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Noll is intelligent and has such an incredible demeanor. His staff is equally incredible including the 2 dental hygienists I've seen numerous times. My highest of recommendations for their practice!

Negative experience: Office is very nice, but what is not so nice is the dentist behind the scene. No sense of bedside manner, bad talking other coworkers, and unnecessary roughness all makes for an unpleasant visit. Avoid Dr. Noll

Fantastic experience: Dr Noll and staff took great care of me. Had a significant toothache they got me in due to infection tooth had to be extracted. They made me comfortable as possible removed the tooth and pain is gone. Highly recommend for any dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Professional and very courteous staff. Appointment was done right on time which was great because I was hungry. I would highly recommend noll family dentistry to anybody seeking great dental care. Went for my appointment on May 16th and they told me that someone had canceled my appointment but upon this visit they gave me my fluoride treatment for free and the manager of the office gave me a 25.00 visa gift card for the error and she very apologetic. So for dinner tomorrow night I'll be enjoying a NY strip and grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes for dinner. Thx again noll family dentistry for stepping up and making sure the customer is the top priority!! Great job as always and in a timely manner but I wonder why I have dental insurance as it always seems like I'm paying for every office visit in some way.

Positive experience: Care is excellent but i feel the cost was way too much. I got a very simple filling. It was way over 200.00. It was way over what other dentists in the area are charging. Like I said great work but the cost is way too much.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Noll Family Dentistry and it was a better than average dental experience! Everyone was so friendly! Torrie was very patient and helpful with my paper work glitches! My mouth is small and it’s usually challenging to have x-rays done, but Tanya completed them with ease! Dr. Caster clearly explained concerns and possible options for next steps with clarity!

Positive experience: I have always not enjoyed having to go to the dentist, and when I moved here to PA, it was the absolute LAST thing I searched out. Noll Family Dentistry has been super nice and helpful; I only wish they offered sedation dentistry like my last dentist did in CT, as my anxiety is sky high (even though the technician is great!).

They got me in a couple hours later, got me a prescription to get the swelling down, and scheduled my next appointment to fix this issue once and for all. Positive experience: I was a patient of the former Dr Mangan in Carlisle for years. I miss the more personalized environment under Dr Mangan. The Noll experience is more of an assembly line approach. I don’t think I’ve had the same hygienist for two visits. My hygienist this week, Lindsey, was very good, but chances are not in my favor to get her again at my next visit in May. I did appreciate the short wait in the waiting room this time. My previous two appointments were much longer. All-in-all I’d give this appointment a 7 out of 10.

Negative experience: I filled out the new patient forms online. I missed their call asking for more information. I called back. No answer so I left a voicemail. I physically went in the next day to provide the insurance card. They said they would call. Two weeks later, no call. When I called last week I got the voicemail. It’s been a few days since and still no word.

Fantastic experience: Had to switch dentists as my old one didn’t take my insurance anymore. Very reluctant as I have extreme anxiety surrounding the dentist. I called and they got me in next day. They were so incredibly kind, understanding, and patient. My hygienist, I think Mariah, talked me through everything and was very gentle. They even offer SEDATION!! Upset I didn’t switch sooner!

Fantastic experience: I have huge anxiety going to the dentist and I've been putting off getting fillings for a couple years because of it. I found this dentist and after my first appointment, I felt comfortable with them, and was able to create a treatment plan with them and get everything done I needed to get done. I never felt anxious or nervous while being there. They're super nice and accommodating. I'm so glad to have found them and be able to finally get the work done.
