Upper teeth are at least a shade lighter and the lower 2 shades… I highly recommend Island Dental for all your dental needs, and now especially their new Smile Perfected teeth whitening process!!! 10/8/14 Have been coming to Island Dental for many years. Today was another typical great experience during bi-annual cleaning! 3/19/14 Had another awesome experience at Island Dental. The bi-annual cleaning included X-rays, blood pressure check and lots of friendly conversation. Nothin’ but love from competent professionals at Island Dental! 5/1/15 Keep having great experiences at Island Dental. Through their professional advisement of teeth maintenance between visits I have maintained great teeth well into my 60's, no cavities and no more gum bleeding. I never have any trouble with them billing my insurance. Troy is always the person who cleans my teeth, he's GREAT! Negative experience: I think I talked to the receptionist more than the “doctor”. Guy looks at my mouth for a second says yep wisdom teeth gotta come out. Leaves then tells the tech to prescribe me antibiotics and pull wisdom teeth. When an abyss is what was bothering me. Doesn’t even tell me I have an abyss I just assume I do because my mouth is so inflamed and irritated. Wisdom teeth are not bothering me. Highly recommend somewhere else.

Positive experience: Front desk and assistant/ nursing staff was very kind. I feel like they over booked as everything seemed rushed. I don’t think my needs were being heard and easy answers were given instead which isn’t fair and is expensive. I wish that the dentist took more time to listen to me and actually find a solution to my issue and one that fit my issue better. It was a nice facility and again staff was all very welcoming, kind, and helpful. But i would not return.

Fantastic experience: My dentist retired, so I was happy to get a recommendation for Dr. Patel. Everything was efficient and the cost was affordable as I don’t have dental insurance being self employed. They explained things well and even scanned my teeth in addition to x-rays. There was no push for extra services and they let me go home to think about purchasing a night guard. This place is worth the drive from Ahwatukee.
