Negative experience: My first few months here was amazing, Dr. Tucker is amazing! However my last appointment the person i got didn’t cut my wires properly, so they’ve been ripping into my cheeks all week but worst of all they left excess band on the power chain that’s digging into my gum on my last tooth, college student with two jobs i don’t even know when i can find time to have it corrected sigh. Already had a bad feeling at the appointment when he seemed to be using a lot of force than what i was regularly used to to hook the bands on not only that bus double the time of what i usually spent there just to have my bands changed. update: ended up having to cut them as they were digging into my gum causing so much pain SMH as you can see the on i cut was the one that wasn’t properly hooked on the last gum and he left two excess bands. I’ve been in so much pain since my appointment

Fantastic experience: Our consultation appointment was with Treatment Coordinator Brittany Lopez at the Flatbush Avenue/Avenue U location in Brooklyn. Brittany was amazing- patient, helpful, answered all of our questions, the kids questions, and spend a significant amount of time with us to ensure we were comfortable with the process and what we were signing up for! We originally were only coming in to learn and consult, not to sign up, but we were so happy with the process and level of care from Brittany that we signed up for both kiddos! Made our appointment for their braces installation for another day, but we could have started that same day. On install day, it was like meeting up with friends with Brittany, the Orthodontist, and the staff. Very friendly, caring, and kind. This was very important since my little (10yo) was excited but also scared and needed more reassurances. Brittany stepped in and talked with my child, gave hugs when my kid reached out, and just was a delight. Can’t recommend their service enough. I’ve also recommended other families to check them out! Really great so far!

Negative experience: I’ve been to other locations but this one is the far worst. I walked in and the receptionist didn’t acknowledge me I said hi and she walked right in the back without making eye contact. I was waiting for her to return so I can check in but she walked up to her desk and sat down like I am invisible. So I am like standing there like a dummy while she is sitting in front of me not saying anything. I go back to the waiting area and then she asks me did you need anything??? Like yes I do that’s why I’ve been patiently waiting. Customer service sucks they all act so stuck up.

Negative experience: I give this location one star because of the overall experience I had with them. I completed my Invisalign braces in march. I wasn’t happy with my smile at all to be honest and I felt deeply that my smile could have been straighter. I mentioned the progress of my smile on numerous occasions but it’s hard to tell what is facts or not from the doctors because almost every visit was a new dentist/staff so each time I was given different explanations that caused some confusion. I eventually didn’t feel so confident about my new smile journey…. Fast forward today: I had lost my retainers two days ago and been wearing my last trays since. I went in today to inquire about replacements. I was told by Dr. Tucker (whom I’ve never met previously) that my bottom teeth would be ok for now since I have a fixed retainer in the back. I was then told to wait to speak to another person about new retainers. After a few moments the women came to infirm me that I would be paying an additional $500 or $600 upfront to get new retainers… I didn’t have that kind of money upfront to give right away so I had to leave the office. I wasn’t given any other options for how long I’ll be doomed if I can’t afford new retainers right away, no additional alternatives or payment plans/options or what I can do to (if anything) prevent major shifting. I was basically kicked to the Curb because they seemed to only care about the money more than the health of my smile….i will not be returning to this location and I hate that they dont offer any discounts for first time replacements of retainers. Now I’m freaking out about my teeth moving out of place after all the money I’ve spent on the treatment…… tomorrow I will try another location and pray I get better solution and help until I get the replacements in a week but I’m afraid for my teeth

She was polite, friendly, and truly listened to my concerns about my teeth. The Kings Plaza location has such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff especially Hazel are simply wonderful.

Fantastic experience: This place is one the best dentists I have ever had my children go to. So far two of the three kids now have straight, beautiful teeth while my youngest was so excited to get her braces, and she did not regret it. We were always allowed to come back whenever we wanted to in case a bracket broke or got loose, and can I mention the customer service? The workers there are so nice and always put on a smile while still being able to get the work done in under an hour. They also play up to trend music, not too loud, and not to soft. Excellent dentist!!
