Fantastic experience: Dr. Wimmer and his entire team are excellent and really focus on the patient needs. Laurie is always happy to see my wife and I and I cannot imagine going to another dentist. I cracked a tooth several months back and the team helped to get me in quickly and help fix my tooth in a matter of no time! They are like an extended family member!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Wimmer’s office for almost 3 years now. I am honestly not the easiest patient to work with, yet the staff here are the best. They always treat people with great care and respect! It’s very difficult to find a great, honest, cheerful dental office nowadays and I’m grateful I found this spot.

Negative experience: Normally hygienists have been on time but this one was 20 minutes late. I had a doctors appointment normally giving me more than 30 minutes to get there but since hygienist was late, I was late!

I have been at this office since before Dr Wimmer took over and there has been a steady and consistent improvement in staff and facilities over the years. Carla deserves special mention, she is a good teacher of dental care and has helped me a lot.

He successfully performed LANAP on me two yrs ago at another facility and I've followed him around since. Specializes in surgical procedures and sedation. Dr. Hakim is highly skilled, warm and open. I trust & value his judgment and his opinion and would strongly recommend him to anyone needing advanced care. I was impressed with this office in general - everyone I encountered was kind, friendly, and helpful, including front office staff, x-ray technician, hygienist. In addition to an exam by Dr. Hakim, I received a very thorough, careful cleaning. Everyone talked through their procedures and their findings as they attended to me, which I appreciate, and I left feeling like I'd received exceptional care. Back from another appt at Wimmer Dental. Julie is the best hygienist I've ever had!

Fantastic experience: I had my cleaning with Carla and she did an amazing job. Carla, Dr Wimmer & Dr Seis all work together to keep my mouth healthy. I need to come back for a filling, and Liberty worked on the estimate so I know what the code will be when I come in for the work. Dr Wimmer has been my dentist for many years and also for many of my family members. We are all very happy with the care we receive and the friendly people who work in the office. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing a horrific tooth Ave and called on a Monday morning and they gave me an appointment for 11:am that morning. After an exam the staff made an appointment for me with an Endodontist. Everything was taken care of as usual in a timely manner! Awesome staff and doctors!

Negative experience: BAD EXPERIENCE. I had high hopes for this dental office because the front desk staff and overall atmosphere were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with doctor Wimmer was disappointing. He came across as dismissive, and I felt uncomfortable during the appointment. Any questions I asked seemed to be an inconvenience to him, and he didn’t take the time to clearly explain or address a few of my concerns. The lack of communication left me feeling uneasy and unsure about my treatment. Because of this, I’ve decided to move my Invisalign treatment to another office where I feel more respected and heard. Sadly, I won’t be returning here

Fantastic experience: I had two different experiences at Wimmer DMD. One with my daughter and the other myself. In both cases the personal that welcome us at the reception was WARM and attentive to our appointment. The lady on the front desk gave me compliments about filling out the paperwork online prior our visits. We felt important and welcome ALL the time we spent there. Tracy, was SO delicate in every procedure we experienced (X-rays, cleaning) explaining every detail of what she was doing and what was about to happen during the check up) She worked hard on our cleaning and took care of every detail ( making us feel safe and comfortable all the time) The Doctor was specific y direct in his diagnosis, He definitely Knows what he is doing. I am coming back for treatment and I am DEFINITELY going to recommend it to other people. They treat you like family. Thank you

Positive experience: Visited the clinic for the first time recently and had a pleasant experience. I was a little disappointed that they did additional scanning which was not covered under my dental plan and wasn't asked if I'd like to have it done or told there could be an additional charge. I would most likely have had the scan done but would have preferred to been notified.

Fantastic experience: Amazing ans usual. Everyone is such a pleasure to talk and interact with, the exceptional care they give you is to be found no where else. from Dr Lowery my Hygienist to front desk they make you feel like family. I Love the service my family gets there all the time.

Negative experience: Went to this dentist- was prepared to go back. Had a work emergency and couldn’t make it and was assessed a $75 cancellation fee. I don’t know about you, but life gets busy and life happens and I definitely don’t wanna go to a provider that doesn’t understand that especially for a first time patient or client who is paying money to be there. So this will not be somewhere that I’m returning to. I also was not verbally notified of this. I was told that this policy was made aware to me via a text appointment reminder. As a busy mother, a business owner and a person who also works in 9 to 5 job. I get 1 million texts a day. I did not see this. It definitely should’ve been clarified to me verbally when I went in for my initial consultation. Shame on you Wimmer dental.

Negative experience: I wasn’t pleased with my experience with the hygienist. After she flossed my teeth, I asked her , “Don’t you usually floss after you clean and polish”? She said “Oh, I forgot to polish and it’s a hygienist preference if they floss first”. She then polished but I thought that odd, as in all my experience flossing is the last step. My teeth felt gritty after because she didn’t rinse well or re-floss. Also, the floor of my mouth felt irritated because the x-ray device wasn’t placed properly. Fantastic experience: I got Invisalign done here and I not only enjoyed my experience, most of all I absolutely love my new smile. I had braces when I was younger and I love the way my teeth look more now than I did after braces. I get compliments all the time on how perfectly straight they are. He was also able to widen my palate - something I have always wanted and didn't think would be possible with Invisalign. He did it! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I saw a glowing report on Next Door about Dr Wimmer. I’m terrified of dentists! I usually only go in when the pain outweighs the fear. This was the case but I still was crying hysterically. Well, since he didn’t hurt me the first time, I went back. Things have changed so much in dentistry. It’s no longer a torture chamber. At least it isn’t with this great dentist!

Fantastic experience: I don’t often post reviews, but I recently moved to the south side of town and needed to find a nearby dentist. After some searching, I decided to give the Wimmer office a try, and I’m glad I did. I was able to schedule an appointment relatively quickly, which is rare in my experience, and I was overdue for a cleaning. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere. The office had a friendly, upbeat energy, with doctors and hygienists engaging with patients, and even a little laughter in the air. Again, not something I’ve often experienced at the dentist. My hygienist, Tracy, was excellent. She was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I have two daughters, and I’m confident this will become their dental home as well.

My hygienist, Laurie has been treating me for years. She is gentle, thorough, and puts her patient needs front and center. I am 70 and I have never been treated better in a dentist office than by Laurie. She is truly a role model for other hygienists.Dr Wimmer is a gifted dentist with skill , knowledge and a gentle approach to deal with a patient's dental needs. Fantastic experience: My husband has been going to Wimmer Dental for years so when it was time to re enroll his health benefits, he added me to his dental plan so we could both get the care that Wimmer Dental provides. On my first visit, they took x-rays and I received the best teeth cleaning I have ever gotten. They also took images of my teeth with a laser wand that truly blew my mind! Right away they noticed that a crown on my tooth was not set correctly, and sure enough, they identified the tooth that has been bothering me for a while now, but my last dentist kept saying nothing was wrong. I am extremely grateful to be under Wimmer Dental care now for my dental needs and hygiene.

Fantastic experience: Because the dentists were very busy, I had to wait longer than usual for my cleaning. No problem for me. I had a new hygienist that had been at the office for 5 years, but new to me. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and did a super job. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Wimmer for more than 10 years. He has provided regular cleanings and x-rays, replaced old fillings with crowns, and replaced a cracked tooth with an implant. Dr. Wimmer’s equipment is state of the art and his staff are professional and very helpful. My teeth have been very happy with all services.

The behind-the-scenes staff-hygienist, scheduler etc are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming as well. To that end, I highly recommend Witter Denist —Dr Aaron Lowery—an expert in the field! Let me add, I live in Clear Creek County and it is a 53 mile drive door to door. An absolute non issue to have Dr Lowery and team be my ‘crew!’ PS check out Witter Denist needle free dentistry! Fantastic experience: I had a small cavity in a front tooth filled today by Dr. Wimmer and his assistant, Amanda. There was no need for numbing the area, which was a first for me. I was told that the area could be numbed at any time if I felt the need for it. I was a little nervous but it was quick and easy and the filling blends perfectly into the tooth! I’m delighted and impressed. Dr. Wimmer and Amanda were professional and pleasant. A friend referred Dr. Wimmer to me and I will also be referring this practice to others.

Joanne at the front desk is amazing and totally put me at ease while matching me with a great hygienist named Jade, who did a wonderful job! Fantastic experience: I'm shopping for a new dentist. I had a new patient appointment and cleaning with dental assistant Laurie and Dr Seiss. Wow. Their technology is up to date and they use it with ease and confidence. Laurie was detailed, thorough and had outstanding patient care skills. Dr Seiss was quick to come up to speed on my issues and his exam was thorough and targeted. All his answers gave me confidence he is competent, and patient focused. I think I found my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I chose this practice several years ago due to previous dental trauma causing an extra level of anxiety If you’ve ever been here, you already know how great Dr. Wimmer is. And you likely know he has ALL the high tech tools to bring you the best care available (with the least amount of discomfort possible). My most recent experience has me thinking about just how great Dr. Wimmer is at hiring and leading a team. With all the tools and talent in the office- naturally they are growing. And it takes strong leadership to grow but not lose the spark that made you great to start with. I realized that not only has Joanne at the front been there for 8+ years, my hygienist and some other friendly faces have been there a long time too. But let me tell you about some new faces in the office… Dr. Lowry and his assistant Johnny. Just wow. I met Dr. Lowry last week when I was scheduled for a cleaning that turned into an exam instead due to some pain. He and Johnnie stepped in and took great care of me- not only recommending how we can fix the current problem but also went above and beyond with options for solving the cause of it. And he did all of this when I wasn’t even on his schedule! (I was only supposed to be there for a cleaning). Yesterday I returned for the procedure to solve the problem and once again they went above and beyond. And once again I have no doubt I threw a wrench in their schedule (though they never said a word). Their level of professionalism, care, and knowledge is remarkable. They had me laughing and enjoying my time in the chair from start to finish, despite my anxiety. Kudos to Dr. Wimmer for not only being a trusted dentist but an amazing leader with a growing practice that stays true to his original core. I am a client for life

Negative experience: My dentist had retired and my gasket had worn out in my lower denture. I was charged $202.00 for 20 minutes and two new gaskets. Each gasket was $50.00 which is great. However I was charged $145 for a comprehensive oral exam. My exam was a flash light to look at my gums. The front desk said it was a normal first visit charge. Will look for another dentist!
