Fantastic experience: I'm really pleased with the surgery I received at BWS. There was almost negligible post-treatment pain or swelling, and very fast healing. Dr. Fischer's pre-treatment counseling, obvious experience and clear expertise were very reassuring prior to the surgery, which was a little... scary to contemplate. I was also impressed with Dr. Fischer's follow-up phone call the evening after my surgery. It was a small act, but really very thoughtful, and again, reassuring. Finally, the office staff, in particular, Issa, is top-notch. They are well-informed, pleasant and patient -- exactly the right mix. Negative experience: This guy Dr. Fisher has zero empathy. He’s as greedy as Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, obsessed with getting his money. He’s eager to operate on my daughter’s tooth even though he admitted himself that there’s zero chance of saving it.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted by Dr, Fischer today. Extremely happy with consultation visit leading up to extraction. I felt very comfortable! Today at extraction Dr. Fischer explained the procedure before and during procedure always asking if I was ok. After extraction Dr. Fischer again explained the post op procedure as well as his exceptional assistant explaining in more detail. I received a phone call from Dr.Fischer tonight asking how I was feeling and if I had any questions. Strongly recommend Dr.Fischer and staff at BWS Oral Surgery. I went for the final follow up visit today. As I mentioned before the supporting office and dental techs are fantastic. They compliment Dr. Fischer extremely well. Dr. Fischer has a great positive attitude, good bedside manner which compliments his skills as an oral surgeon!!

Dr Scott Fischer saw me the very next morning at 9:15. Happy to report the tooth was extracted painlessly! I must compliment Dr Fischer & his entire staff as well as their State of the art facility ! Fantastic experience: The entire staff was welcoming and thorough in assisting me. Dr. Fisher’s assistant explained the procedure and after the extraction was clear in reviewing the home care details. This was not my first tooth extraction so I was very pleased with both the speed of the procedure and the comfort level. I had asked for nitrous oxide which was administered but did not seem to have any effect. Luckily with Dr. Fisher’s skill it was not necessary. It was a very quick and pain free procedure. Negative experience: Worst Oral Surgeon I have ever came across. Putting patients under for tooth extractions are a lack of dentistry. Meaning, he can’t do his job professionally or be competent enough while the patient is coherent.

Fantastic experience: Had 2 wisdom teeth removed from Dr Fischer today, he was amazing, very personable! He walked me through the process and exactly what were the concerns with a potential nerve being in contact with one of the teeth that could cause nerve damage upon removal. Thankfully I had no nerve issues and have retained full feeling on that side of my jaw, He even reached out, gave me a call and checked up on me, I missed the call because I was asleep but the little things like that are what makes someone a great Dr, Highly recommend Dr Fischer for all your dental surgeon needs!

Fantastic experience: Got an appointment for a consultation quickly. The staff was very nice amd empathetic at check in and check out, and they explained potential charges for the visit before I saw the doctor. They called my dentist to double-check on recent imagery taken, while I waited. Having none of the area to be looked at, I got a panoramic x-ray. There was little to no wait for the tech, who was as nice as the desk staff and explained everything to me. The doctor and I reviewed the image together, talked about past history and options, and decided another type of image was necessary to determine game plan. I got a 3D image. Again, the process was quick, and the same tech guided me through it. The doctor and I met again, reviewed the images together, while he explained things to me, and we agreed on path forward. All in all, it was quick, everyone was very pleasant, the consultation was more a discussion and not a lecture, there were no shocking surprises wrt the images, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and costs were made clear before they were incurred. I have come here for other procedures and have brought my daughter here. They are really good, both in terms of medical care and overall service, and I recommend everyone to consider them.

Positive experience: Long wait times, appointment was at 4:30pm I got seen at 5:20pm and a lot of paperwork to fill with multiple signatures , I was also told my co-pay was $60 but I got charged $67

Fantastic experience: This was my second extraction and implant done by Dr. Scott Fisher. The first went swimmingly so naturally I returned when a different tooth needed to be pulled. Again, the procedure went better than expected. I expected pain - it wasn’t that bad. I expected costly - it was, but comparable to the going rates for implants and worth it because the job is so well done. Dr Fisher and his team are proficient, knowledgeable, informative, conscientious, and caring. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Dr. McCullum always calls later on the same day to check with me and ensure I'm doing fine. Update: Once again, I highly recommend the BWS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery office. This time, my sinus lift and bone grafting surgery was performed by Dr. Scott Fischer. Dr. Fischer walked me through the procedure before the surgery so I had a clear picture of what to expect. As someone who has anxiety about going to the dentist, I’m happy to report that my experience was far better than I expected. 10/10 recommend! During the involved procedure I had, he periodically informed me of what I’d feel, how far along he was, etc. I really appreciate that he showed concern for the pain I would have later and prescribed an effective pain killer. Yes, patients are nervous, afraid or fear oral surgery but Dr. Fischer has an uncanny ability to allay and disarm all those patient concerns. His professionalism and extraordinary surgical skills along with his overall demeanor instilled in me a trust in Dr. Fischer. I also agree that his post surgical instructions when followed minimize discomfort and aid in healing. It was comforting to have him call that evening to check on how I was doing. Fantastic experience: I had the worst wisdom tooth infection and I needed to get them both taken out. After a short phone consultation with Dr.Fischer, he gave me solid medical advice to help the infection dissipate and then they were able to accommodate me for an appointment less than a week later even thought their whole calendar was booked because they knew how much I was struggling. I got there and everyone was so friendly, warm and welcoming. Moments later Dr.Fischer gave me a run down of what he saw, how they would attack the problem and assured me everything would be ok. 30 minutes later it was all over and I couldn’t of been happier. Between how helpful and warm everyone who worked there was and the Doctor’s bedside manner and overall medical prowess, I could honestly say It was a lemonade of lemons situation and the best experience i’ve ever had at any dentist or oral surgeon. HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fischer explained the procedure in detail before starting and his staff was very attentive. Didn’t feel a thing and had no pain. Dr. Fischer called to check on me later in the evening. The staff is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend BWS for any maxillofacial surgery.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. She was extremely nervous about the intravenous anesthesia, Dr. Fischer was patient and kind explaining everything to her and talking to her to calm her fears. He took such great care of her mentally, emotionally and obviously when extracting her teeth. He even called her a few hours after the surgery to check on her. Dr. Fischer and his entire staff are amazing.

Fantastic experience: BWS was highly recommended to us for extraction. My son "Nate" is autistic and we could not have chosen a better maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Fischer and his team exceeded our expectations. After our first consultation, surgery was schedule within a week. (Although, he was booked solid.) Dr. Fischer and team are both patient and caring. The procedure itself lasted around 15 minutes. Dr. Fischer followed-up with an evening call to check-in on Nate. Which made us love him even more!
