Joey, the hygienist I had today, gave me plenty of breathing breaks as he cleaned my teeth, and I so appreciated that. Wonderful practice and they are all younger than me, so they can see me out! I have a terrible gag reflex and they were so kind and accomodating helping me through the x-ray procedure that was needed. The equipment in the office is first class. I was so impressed by the technology that was utilized. Had been dreading the pink goop that was needed in the past to take the impression for a crown. NOT ANYMORE! Amazing 3D photographs were taken of my tooth which was then used to create the crown. What a pleasure! Thank you Dr. Nugent and Tammy - for taking such good care of me.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always so personable and nice. Easy appointments and reminders and they handle all the insurance stuff so I don't have to worry about it. I also saw Chewbacca going into this place (seriously) so that's a plus. Update: My son had another visit and as always, the experience is absolutely the best experience going to the dentist. Fantastic experience: The visit was for my 87y/o mother: we went to the office and made a visit to check the office out, mom was pleased and liked what she saw, so we made an appointment. At the appointment, a few days later we were greeted by the office personnel and completed sign in smoothly, our hygienist took us back after a short wait in the waiting room, since it was her first visit, mom had xrays and a cleaning done. The hygienist was very professional throughout the whole process and mom could not have been more pleased. Then Dr. Nugent came in and talked with mom, she really liked his professionalism as well. All in all the whole process went smooth and mom has found her a new dentist office. I would highly recommend this office!

Negative experience: If you are looking for a dentist who has experience with implants Dr. Nugent is definitely not your guy! I spent several thousand dollars to have 2 adult back molars replaced with implants and crowns. What I ended up with was 2 child size premolars that are smaller and shorter than the natural teeth next to them. My bite is off and the implants are not stable.

Fantastic experience: I had check up done at a dentist chain called ideal dental 1 week ago and they stated i had gingivitis and needed a filling for a cavity and needed a deep clean and was going to charge $1200 out of pocket (that’s with insurance covering a percentage). I having dental trust issues, came to Dr. Nugent for a second opinion and from the time i called to get scheduled to the check up everything was easy and smooth. The front desk personnel are nice and wonderful, the hygienist was great and stated that i did not have gingivitis and Dr. Nugent didn’t see any issues with my teeth. Since i didn’t need a deep clean, they were able to clean my teeth even though it was not scheduled to be done. My insurance covered it all and nothing had to be paid. The Dr. and staff are honest people and would recommend everyone to come here. Saved me $1200.

Knowing about my irrational fear of the dentist, he continued to encourage me to make an appointment and show up. It took awhile but he never gave up. I have had two appointments. Both times I was greeted by the friendly staff. Throughout my appointment they talked me through everything that was going to happen with understanding and compassion. Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I've ever had with a new crown. My brother-in-law referred me after I already had a temporary crown on one tooth, but needed a second crown on a different tooth. I went to Dr. Nugent and he was able to give me a new CEREC crown the same day made on site with a machine that carves the exact shape of my tooth out of zirconia porcelain. It even fit my night guard with no worries. It only took 3 1/2 hours and no pain! My other tooth with the temporary from my regular dentist fell out once and I had to wait 3-weeks for the permanent crown and it was extremely painful. Never again will I go back to the old out-dated way! I learned my lesson. When i asked my regular dentist why they don't have this machine, they said it was too expensive. Thank you so much Dr. Michael Nugent for offering new technology that was not that much more cost from the old traditional way! It was a much more pleasant experience and your staff was friendly & professional.

Fantastic experience: I returned to Dr Nugent after loosing faith in the Dentist I had been using. They got me in quickly and did a great job of replacing a crown I lost. They fabricated a new Zirconium one and had me all fixed up in a couple of hours.

Fantastic experience: This is seriously the best experience I had with a dentist in the United States. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, they took me in on time, did not have to wait because they have several rooms and assistant. The dental assistant was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Nugent explains everything with detail, making sure I am understanding my condition, what was done to me and the next steps to follow. He's also super friendly and makes me trust him because he treats me like an equal and like a human being, unlike other doctors that think you know nothing. I will definitely be looking forward to coming back to this office in the future!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael Nugent DDS is the BEST dentist. Explains everything in detail . He is the first dentist that gives you options and let you decide what works for the patient. Fantastic experience: I moved away from Pasadena over twenty years ago, and the last few years I’ve been trying different Dental Care providers that were more conveniently located. I received recommendations from needing root scaling to several crowns because the molars were cracked. I went back to Dr. Nugent and he said I got a solid C+ grade. A couple of issues, but if it wasn’t bothering me, then we could wait. That’s why you need a professional with honesty and integrity. I strongly recommend Dr. Nugent. Don’t waste time with the “others.”

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Nugent for a sports mouth guard by my Martial Arts Coach, Justin. The overall experience was top notch. The office staff was very helpful, polite, and attentive during the registration process. They clearly communicated exactly what I needed to provide them for the office visit. They also followed up with me regularly with updates as soon as they got them. They were terrific. Once in the chair, my experience with Dr. Nugent was the best. While getting fitted for the mouth guard, he went slow, explained the process and made sure I was comfortable. Again, a great experience and I look forward to going back.

Fantastic experience: I a little nervous at first but once I got there I felt like I knew everyone there. So welcoming and nice the nervousness went away with 5 mins I was there. Fantastic experience: The staff was very warm, and inviting. Dr Nugent was very transparent, and made me feel very comfortable. Alice, the hygienist, did a wonderful job of explaining everything that she was going to do before she did it and made my cleaning a great experience. Candy did my prep work and took all of my x-rays. She tried her best to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible with each one of those awkward positions. Over I’m very excited about finding this office and trusting them with my dental needs.

She made the process easy and definitely helped me with my anxiety. Dr. Nugent was very thorough in explaining what my issue is and how to go about making it better. Front desk girls are so sweet, nice, and easy to talk to. By the end of my visit I felt relaxed and good, able to be myself. I'm definitely making this my permanent dental place.
