Negative experience: 2 stars because some of the staff are great, but I've had nothing but issues with this dentist. I had work completed to aid with tooth sensitivity that was not covered by insurance and was advised it would help for around 1-1.5 years, it worked for three days. They continue to reach out about billing issues I've already provided evidence of payment for (stating I was charged around $20 but my statement shows a charge of $146.10 for the date in question). I do not smoke or use tobacco products, have no familial history of gum problems, yet ever since going to this dentist I've had progressively worse gum health year over year. The amount of negligence expressed by the billing staff and some of the hygienists has gotten to the point that I cannot in good faith recommend this dentist. (Patient of three years)

Negative experience: Dr. CARTER was way more than extremely unprofessional. He knew ahead of time things he had said he wanted to do at a previous visit for today's visit. He said after today's cleaning that he did not feel comfortable proceeding with anything further. He started to say that he felt that way that way after last visit, but then changed his words when I called him on it and said that he felt that way just walking in today and remembering the last visit. If he had any concerns, he should have made that known then or within a reasonable time after that visit, not a year later. That is INEXCUSABLE, HORRIFIC, malpractice, money hungry and just down right rude!! Do NOT WALK AWAY, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! He even said that he did not think of me after my 3rd visit until today?! You mean you didn't think of it when chart noting? There is no doctor that I have worked for or saw that has EVER had that business practice. A patient is to be thought of when the visit is over and chart notes are being made, so the appropriate ones can be made. What if you changed drs because of insurance and the new doctor got the wrong info based off of those chart notes?? WAY TOO UNPROFESSIONAL TO BE IN PRACTICE ANYWHERE, ANYTIME! EDIT: That was originally written after the cleaning visit I had this week. I have since looked up information on the gas that they gave me. I now see that it appears that they WAY over dosed me. I knew that it seemed strange when he and Letha were standing to the side talking about calling an ambulance. They were happy and surprised when I said that I was awake. Also, the vomiting that made him decide that he didn't want to treat me further, appears to be a side effect. So, I now see that Carter doesn't want to treat someone because of a possible SIDE EFFECT OF SOMETHING THAT THEY GAVE THEM!! I will now be filing a formal complaint against his license and contacting the DEA so they can check to make sure that they understand how to appropriately administer gas and to know what to expect. I also want to add that I am surprised to find this information out since the "problem" he referred to happened at the 2nd visit and I still had a 3rd visit 2 weeks later. This cleaning visit was my 4th visit. I would like to also make people aware that when the crown was put on, I said that there was a problem. They did not believe me. When I could finally get them to believe me, they brought me back in. Letha then sanded the crowns down a good bit. She said that the pain I was experiencing was because the ligaments had gotten inflamed. Letha also mentioned at that time that I have been a great patient. The dental assistant to the dentist said great patient, but the dentist said otherwise? Yeah, I would NOT recommend this place in any way shape or form. RUN AWAY!

Negative experience: Front staff is rude. They said I was a new patient, but I’ve been there as recently as 4 months ago. When I said I’m not new, the staff didn’t seem to like my tone, and I could hear her talking about how I was rude to the other staff. I simply stated a fact. I guess 3 bored women in reception need to gossip to make the time go by.

Negative experience: My mother had to change dentist due to insurance unfortunately. Unfortunately, we chose Green Street smiles. They pretty much dismissed her with no help what so ever! She has a temporary set and just needs fitted for her permanent set but said they would have to check with her insurance. 1st of all, they had her insurance information well ahead of time, so why wasn't this already checked on? 2nd they said it would take 6 weeks to hear from the insurance. My mom called insurance and was told they approved it several weeks ago. Upon calling back to dentist she was told they hadn't gotten anything. She was told by insurance they could go into the portal to see that. They stated they didn't do that and needed a paper in writing! How crazy! Then sent her a bill for $174 that should have been filed on her insurance. Would bot recommend this company.

Negative experience: becareful i went in for my appt and was told i needed xrays and my insurance doesnt cover it but every 5 years we called our insurance guy and this isnt true they tried to collect 180.00 bux from me yesterday so be very careful they lied and try to get money for nothing ....couldnt get a cleaning until i paid it when in fact my insurance covers this every year.....LIARS! Not a very good experience for me.... wouldn't clean my teeth unless I paid 180 buxx for xrays which insurance wouldn't cover because they only cover them every 5 years.... money money money that's all everyone wants..... very sad

Negative experience: good service but worst billing system. I got a call from a collection agency for a bill four years old that I never got because I moved. I would have appreciated an email now I had to pay extra for never received their invoice. I am beyond upset.

Negative experience: Booked appointment, showed up for appointment 10 minutes early and no one was there. Tried opening the door and it was locked. No where did it say it was closed today not on their Facebook, Instagram nor website. Why would they allow me to make a appointment if they are not open, completely ridiculous. I also called multiple times why I was here and no one picked up.

Positive experience: Well I didn’t really get a very good first impression and I don’t think I’ll be going back. I would have preferred to give 2.5 stars but decided to go ahead and round up. I got there several minutes before my 7AM appointment time (I had been subjected to a pretty substantial blitz of email and text reminders the day before, so how could I forget?), as did four other people. Then we all just kind of awkwardly sat there in that enclosed space while we waited for the receptionist to show up. She came flying in the front door at about one minute before 7 and began to frantically check us in. I then got to sit there and watch the waiting room slowly empty out until I was the last one sitting there, and so I really should have just shown up around 7:15 AM and bypassed all of the above. The young lady who took my X-rays was the best part of the entire experience. She seemed really nice and authentic and genuine, and so they’ve definitely got her going for them. I knew I had some dental issues before I even went in there, and they did do a really great job of assessing my dental situation and what all would need to be done in order to address these issues. But then came the part where they come in with an estimated cost of service, at which point I was told that my part of the bill would be a little over $700. Evidently I needed a crown and so I was sure going to have to pay the price for one. They presented this dental estimate to me and seemed to act like I should just be ready and willing to fork over that amount of money. It was suggested to me that since I was already sitting in that chair, I should just consider sitting there a few hours longer. I was pretty much just laughing the whole time, but was also experiencing a bit of disbelief/sticker shock. Also. I requested a 7AM appointment for a reason…because I had to GO TO WORK right after the appointment was over and didn’t have a few more hours to spare. Maybe one day I’ll be in a position to where I can just fork over approx. $700 and not have to worry about having to go to a job at some point in the day. They also let me know that they could manufacture a night guard (because I grind my teeth) for about another $460 or something like that. I just continued chuckling and shaking my head as I signed this paper letting me know that I was declining the opporunity to walk out of there a new man for a measly (almost) $1700. They did give me a bougie goody-bag and so that was kind of nice. But overall it felt like they were all about packing people in there and making that bling. Just not a good vibe and definitely not for a ‘living paycheck-to-paycheck’ fellow like me. I went there for the sole purpose of getting my teeth and gums scraped and polished, and that was certainly accomplished. Everyone was mostly nice and cordial, and the environment was super-nice and clean. Just wasn’t a good match for me. That about sums it all up.
