Ashley was wonderful— I called this morning to reschedule both of my kids’ appointments that was scheduled for next week and asked if we could be put on a waitlist for today if there happened to be any cancellations (since it was a school day off). She was kind enough to check and then called me later in the day and was able to squeeze us in. She even checked my daughter’s records to address some concerns I had. She was so patient and kind. ☺️ We usually see Dr. Konz, who we absolutely love, but today we had Dr. Dash for the first time—and she was just as amazing! The whole team is fantastic. Plus, the complimentary Fiji water and flavored sparkling waters in the waiting area are an added bonus!

Fantastic experience: Came for our son’s first visit and they really tried to make him comfortable! They had a movie playing in the lobby and in the private room we watched ms rachel. They gave us a very nice bag with wonderful things for our son’s first visit which was so sweet. The dentist and the hygienist were patient and very nice to him and did the best to make him feel comfortable. They took their time to explain everything to us and what to expect, it went well! At the end our son got a gold coin to use on their coin machine to get a toy!

Fantastic experience: Took my granddaughter in for a cleaning and exam with Dr. Konz. Normally she is very nervous and has dental anxiety. From the moment we walked into the office she was happy and upbeat. Met her hygienist and was immediately happy and liked her, the cleaning went well, met with Dr. Konz and he talked with her explained everything he was doing and what she needed to do. He was very kind and funny and had her laughing throughout the appointment. She left after and was telling me how this was her favorite dentist and she wants to come here from now. Fantastic experience: The best dentist my kids have seen. He is calming, entertaining, talks through everything with the kids and shows them all his tools first so they aren't afraid. Also the kids can pick what to watch on Netflix on the ceiling! I get very anxious around dentists, both for me and my kids, but this place is great. My daughter calls Dr. Konz "the kind dentist."

Fantastic experience: The BEST dentist office you will ever experience! Jennifer cleaned my son’s teeth and took x-rays and that was not doable at the previous office. She was the most patient, kind hearted person. She spoke perfectly to my very anxious son, making him feel ant ease and he went through the entire cleaning. Staff at front desk were kind. Dentist was excellent. We are so excited to have found such a great office!

Fantastic experience: We recently switched to little smiles and the experience has been great. Dr Konz was able to quickly and accurately diagnose an issue that prompted us to switch offices from our previous dentist of 16 years. I’d thought my kid was just difficult at the dentist, but the staff at little smiles seems to not have any issues with X-rays and other procedures that the previous dentist said my kid would not cooperate with. My kids really like going there and were excited about the “no cavity club.” Glad we switched!

Fantastic experience: Great experience at Little Smiles dentistry in Brambleton - I came in with my 6 year old son and just turned 1 year old daughter and you have no idea how helpful that little nook with the big screen (mini theater area) is! It’s carpeted and has a nice view of the outside and cushioned seating so I let my daughter loose there while my son was getting his cleaning. It is helpful for parents with those extra kiddos who need to be entertained :). All in all my son loved his experience and the doctor was very informative and nice!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to have 2 teeth extracted and sealants added to her back molars for cavity prevention. She was very hesitant but the dentist and her assistant were very patient and walked her through the whole process. Everything went smoothly and my daughter even said, "that wasn't too bad." Definitely recommend this practice. All 3 of my kids have gone here and had nothing but a good experience.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with Little Smiles Dentistry. There seems to be a conflict of interest, as the husband, a dentist at this office, refers patients to his wife at NoVA Orthodontics, Brambleton, just opposite to his office. The entire operation feels more like a coordinated scheme than a professional practice because, at NoVA Orthodontics, despite paying nearly $3,000 upfront for Invisalign treatment, I was later pressured to sign additional documents that could lead to thousands of dollars in extra charges—details that were never disclosed during the initial agreement. Patients are manipulated into signing these additional documents right before their appointments. The staff calls you in for treatment while the front desk rushes you to sign, leaving little to no time for review. This practice feels like a deliberate strategy to pressure patients into compliance. The overall lack of transparency was deeply concerning. Additionally, the staff was unprofessional, rude, and showed little respect for patients. These two doctors and office environments did not inspire trust.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Dr. Konz and it was such a great experience! I’ve seen dentist all around the country and Dr. Konz and his team were top notch. I especially enjoyed the young lady who cleaned my teeth named Jordan. Will highly recommend to all of my friends who have kids.

We have had such fantastic experiences here since our son went to his first dental visit over two years ago! Every single staff member is incredible and puts everyone at ease. Of course, Dr. Konz is absolute best! He has taught us so much about keeping our son’s teeth healthy and makes going to the dentist something genuinely exciting to look forward to. I wish I had this dental experience as a kid!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly, welcoming staff. The office is super fancy, bright, clean and designed with kids in mind- there are fun decorations, toys, books, and even TV playing cartoons in the waiting area. The dentist and hygienist were incredibly gentle and patient with my child. The entire visit was smooth, and my child was happy to get so many presents. I wish I could have it in my childhood. Highly recommend to any parents! You will love it!

Fantastic experience: I used to work in a pediatric dental/orthodontic office, so I can always appreciate being spoken too in a more professional manner in these kinds of settings. We switched dental offices for my toddler because her previous one is out of network with my insurance now and we do not have OON benefits comparable to the in-network benefits. It was hard for me to switch after all 3 years of her life being at the same office. Dr. Konz and his team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s tucked away above the Brambleton library so it took me a few extra minutes to find it. The office is lovely, exceptionally clean and cozy. My daughter was thrilled that she could watch Cocomelon while getting her teeth cleaned. Even though she’s a fantastic dental patient, it helped ease her since it was a new setting and she tends to be shy around new people. When she got back to school after she was showing everyone how “sparkly” her teeth are. She we extra proud of herself for having such a good visit. I appreciate the amount of praise she was given for her exceptional oral hygiene habits and she was pretty excited to put her ticket in the prize drawing box for not having any cavities. We will definitely be returning to Dr. Konz in 6 months and for as long as they accept our insurance. Thank you all for a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: Wonky business practice! We made a consultation appointment to assess whether our little one had a tongue tie. We submitted all the insurance paperwork beforehand, and then we went to our appointment. We were immediately let in, and 5 minutes into the consultation, I was called out to be informed that our insurance does not cover the consultation, and we had to pay $191! This was very inappropriate and poor business practice -- why couldn't they let us know this before? Clearly, they had all the information to tell us this before we walked in. Moreover, at the consultation, the surgeon was not even present. So the conclusion of the consultation was that we still had to get further consultation by the person who was actually doing the surgery. This is backwards. The consult should be done by the person doing the surgery, so all the information is clearly conveyed. Please be careful with these folks!
