Fantastic experience: Have had noting but the greatest care one could receive from a dental facility. The hygienist are incredibly knowledgeable and seem passionate about making sure the patient is as educated as possible. Every time i have come here I’ve always been seen in a timely manner and by people Who seem like they enjoy their jobs. I had Mary today and I can’t say enough about her patient care, expertise, and dedication to ensuring I knew exactly what was going on and what I need to do (when, where, how and why). True professionalism. My previous hygienist, Fran, was also incredible. It’s nice to finally find a dental facility where one does not have to feel anxious about their care. This will definitely be my families go to place for dental care. A+ care from the kind ladies at the registration desk as well.

Negative experience: Middletown Dental Associates they took my fund what they say on their door to phone advertising is different from the price they ll give you once you are in their office.. they told me 4 times the price of what I was told on phone and Middletown Dental Associates they charged for nothing beware of this Middletown Dental Associates place ,…

Positive experience: I have been going here for years and continue to go for the high quality dental work -HOWEVER- their record keeping is abysmal. Keep copies of everything. Even if they see you in person, someone will inevitably fail to document your records. When asking about a service, speak specifically to the dentist because some of the receptionists are great while others can't remember anything properly. Service is better than last year. Hoping it continues to improve.

Fantastic experience: If I could give an extra 5 stars I would! I had an exceptional experience at this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the office felt more like a luxurious five-star hotel —clean, modern, and welcoming. The receptionist was friendly, professional, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. First day I had a dental examination and the following week I was able to schedule the deep cleaning. I hadn’t had a cleaning in almost two years and required a deep cleaning, so I was understandably nervous. However, the hygienist (Mary) went far above and beyond my expectations. She was extremely professional, caring, and patient, with a very gentle touch. She communicated with me throughout the entire cleaning, constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable, which helped me feel completely at ease. She even put on my favorite music, which made a huge difference and helped me relax. The doctor was equally kind and professional, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making me feel confident in my care. Overall, this office truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for outstanding care in a calm, welcoming, and professional environment. Specially if you have anxiety with dental offices and are looking to have a relaxed and pleasant experience this is the best dental practice in New York you must go to!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Middletown Dental for some time now. I typically refrain from writing reviews until after I have visited a business several times to rule out the “one offs” in terms of poor or excellent customer service as I am a man who values consistency. Almost 3yrs later and I am still waiting to have a poor customer service experience (just has never happened). Upon entering, the waiting area is very welcoming and even boasts a viewing area where you can actually see the machines creating the dental crowns, inlays and veneers. Really cool touch. The front staff are all very friendly and attentive. You are greeting as soon as you come into the doors. After you’ve been there a few times you even begin to get recognized which only enhances the “family” feel that I believe they have. From the time that you are seated in the waiting area up until and including being in the Individual rooms, your ears are treated to an AMAZING selection of music that not only calms the most nervous patient, and lightens any moods, but it sends you home singing melodies for hours to come. Or searching for the tunes online. Shout out to Melanie with an amazing ear for music. The dental hygienists have all been gentle, patient, paid attention to detail and even offered tips and suggestions based on what your goals or plans are. The dentists are great! I have been asked questions on how I would like to proceed. Given recommendations but not pushed. Included on conversations for plans of action for the next 6 months to a year. I appreciate the level of professionalism that I always feel whenever work is being done. I like that the dentist are very intentional when performing work. I love that certain work is started and completed within hours. They have mastered a system of operation that manages to put the customer first and still not compromise the quality of service that everyone receives. I will certainly be here for years to come.

Fantastic experience: I always have a good experience. Most recently I had some extensive dental work done and never had any discomfort. Dr Dan was great and concerned if I had any discomfort. Katherine my hygienist was very knowledgeable and did a great job. They are my go to team!

Also professional, friendly and caring. He explains everything to you and answers all your questions. The office is clean and accessible and they do all types of procedures. Very attentive and the dentist who took his time to ask me questions about any dental concerns and did a routine checkup. Fantastic experience: I gave myself an early Christmas gift by having a tooth extracted replaced with an Implant by Dr. Hou. He was amazing. So thankful for his professional skills that my Life Partner will be coming to him for his Implants. The pain hurted more in my mind then the actual extraction itself. Negative experience: Called specifically for oral surgeon. Had our own X-rays. They took appointment charged over $200 to tell us need an oral surgeon for wisdom tooth removal. That’s exactly what we said while we made appointment. Total rip off.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the front desk is always warm and inviting, and I love that they remember you and welcome you by your name. My husband and I both absolutely love hygienist Mary. She is so gentle and patient. Dr. Blau is as patient, kind, gentle and knowledgeable as they come! He has done a root canal and a crown and he's the first dentist I trust and don't dread seeing. I love that they offer a light treatment for sensitive gums, it helps me so much and Mary is always telling us about new products that are coming out.

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend Middletown Dental Associates! My fear of dentists is pretty severe. Everyone there, Dr Dan, Oxana the dental assistant Janet and the reception staff made me feel at ease and comfortable. They took themselves time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I know I’m in good hands with Dr Dan and his staff!

Negative experience: The Dentist extracted the Wong tooth and asking very personal questions? The entire office are more worried about being sued than helping the patients? There are six offices connected to this dental office which are operating the same uncaring way.

Fantastic experience: Dr Joe is excellent, the practice is well run & has multiple methods of communication to remind patient of upcoming appointments. Update May 29, 2025: I received my final arches on Thursday and the result was as promised. Totally changed my life. I have been an extreme night grinder My entire life. I had worn my bottom teeth down to nothing. I never wanted to smile because my front bottom teeth were ground down to nubs and in such terrible condition. Previously I had a series of 3 bridges which had been replaced many times over the last 20 years but the teeth they were anchored to were beginning to fail. I was informed by my previous dentist that if one of the anchor teeth holding any of the bridges failed, the entire bridge system was going to fail. After extensive research I found Dr Joe & Teeth4U. After the initial consultation and scans it was determined the best course of action was to have all 28 of my remaining teeth extracted at once, (which was no small feat considering I'd had at least six root canals over the years). The final result was 11 implants, (some of which had to be replaced and a few more added due to my night grinding) Dr Joe, Crystal G. and the T4U team worked diligently to ensure that I received the best care and final outcome that was promised. Fast forward to 5/29. I saw a client yesterday afternoon who had not seen me since before the process began. The first thing she said was "Did you have your teeth done?" They look amazing, you look a lot younger. I want to thank Dr Joe and his team for putting up with me and never hesitating to Do what was right.

Fantastic experience: I have a huge fear of the dentist, but the team at Middletown Dental Associates provided me with a great experience! They were patient, caring, and addressed my concerns. The front desk staff, hygienists, and dentist were amazing! I will say that I am not looking forward to my upcoming follow up appointment (due to my anxiety and fear), but I do know that I will be well taken care of. Fantastic experience: I broke a permanent molar, it was loose, and I was in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in within an hour and extracted my tooth a few hours later. I'll be doing an implant and everything was explained in excellent detail down to the cost and timeline.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond afraid of dentists. However a recent emergency situation put me in need of a dentist ASAP. Not only did they bring me in for an emergency treatment but Dr. Ho and the rest of the staff we amazing in keeping me calm and pain free throughout the entire appointment. Honestly, I am super grateful for them because I probably would have endured the pain of the abcess out of fear and be in a much worse position. Fantastic experience: I recently switched to Middletown Dental associates because I had an emergency dental issue and I’m so glad I made the change. I was treated the same day, and I’ve since had more work done. This office is state of the art, they are very knowledgeable and very gentle. Dr, Spector treated me so well! I got 2 new crowns put in and Felicia did a great job making them, and Kiersten even applied lip balm on me when I was drying up from having my mouth open :) They even provide ice pops! All the small details and the excellent care helped me make the decision to change dentists. I’m so glad I did! EDIT: Today I had an extraction done and I was feeling anxious about it. Not only did they put me at ease but it was fast, I felt nothing, and they treated me with kindness. I love these guys so much. The girls in front are great at what they do, Mel is amazing, Dr. Katz is so patient. Thank you!

Negative experience: literally awful, a piece of my gums that's been there my entire life was ripped off of me and then i was shamed for bleeding after a piece of my gums thats supposed to be there was RIPPED OUT OF MY MOUTH!!!!!! they didn't use the suction properly and water ended up dribbling out of my mouth and all the way down my back, when i reacted negatively i was laughed at for being uncomfortable laying in wet clothes. i got backhanded, passive aggressive comments about my appearance that were entirely unnecessary. no way to ensure privacy when filling out their forms, you just have to fill out your personal information on screens that are visible to everyone else in the room. immediately tried to upsell me on an unnecessary procedure that, surprise surprise, isnt covered by insurance! this place is clearly money-hungry and has no genuine care for their patients. do not go here unless you want to leave with chunks of your mouth missing

Scheduling my appointments was a breeze with the front desk!!! I travel from Rockland County because of the Dental Care provided by this Practice.

I was greeted by Desmond at the front desk who made the new patient intake process simple. He was friendly, polite and personable. I can’t remember the name of the woman who did my check-out but she was nice as well. Kong was either the dental assistant or hygienist but she was in charge of taking me into the next room to be examined by Dr. Blau, my dentist. She was funny and efficient with a good attitude. I appreciated her company. Dr. Blau was quick & efficient. He examined my teeth and gave me my assessment in a matter of minutes. He didn’t try to do more work on my teeth than what he felt I needed and I appreciate that. He seems like the type of doctor who actually does care about people, and not the bottom line. Overall, a pretty nice place.

Fantastic experience: This week marked my first dental visit in quite a while, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had at Middletown Dental Associates. From the moment I walked in, every single staff member made me feel welcomed and at ease. Branden was fantastic he took my X-rays with care and spoke with me while I waited, which really helped ease any nervousness. Erika, the hygienist, was absolutely phenomenal! She did an excellent job with my cleaning and was gentle yet thorough. When it came time to address a few cavities, Dr. Dan was amazing. He clearly explained each step of the process and continually checked in to make sure I was comfortable and pain free. His calm and caring approach made all the difference. My son was seen by the hygienists, Susan, for his cleaning who was equally wonderful and made him feel completely at ease. When my daughter needed a baby tooth extracted, her dentist handled it so gently that she didn’t cry or complain at all which says a lot! The front desk team is also top notch. They’re warm, efficient, and on point with reminders and check-in procedures. A special shout out to the lovely young woman in the office Oxana (hope I’m spelling that right!) who clearly explained our treatment plan. She made sure we understood everything about the upcoming visits. If you’re on the fence about where to go for dental care, don’t hesitate give Middletown Dental Associates a try. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my general dentist for an issue with a loose implant that was hurting me for over a month. The initial appt was for a consultation but when Dr. Spector saw how much pain I was in, and had an infection, he removed the implant for me. Dr Spector was honest, upfront and patient with me. He informed me that I wasn’t a candidate for implants because of bone loss and teeth grinding. I have a night guard but I cannot tolerate wearing it to sleep. I set up a treatment plan to remedy the spaces where 2 implants from prior oral surgeons failed. The entire staff was also professional and courteous. I would highly recommend anyone looking for help with dental issues to go to Middletown Dental Associates. The implant pictured below was improperly placed by a prior oral surgeon from another practice approximately 3 years ago. I had the tooth pulled and implant placed all in one visit. During the pull, the surgeon cracked part of another tooth directly behind where the new implant would be placed. Metal was showing on my gum line immediately and I was lied to stating “once healed, metal would be covered by my gum line.” I hope my post is helpful for anyone looking for cosmetic dentistry in the future.

It went so smooth that i almost fell asleep during the procedure!! Thanks Dr Blau! My daughter who is 5 had a great experience too! She saw Celeste and was able to get a cleaning and exam done. I really appreciate how the hygienist explained everything to me, and both she and the dentist were gentle, nonjudgemental, and competent. When it came time to check out and pay, the office staff worked efficiently to help several guests, but still took the time to explain everything and answer questions.
