Fantastic experience: Megan, Hygienist is great. She is very thorough polite. Megan is very thorough in the way she cleans my teeth right now. I am using Invisalign and my teeth are getting stained and she took all the stains out.

Negative experience: Horrible experience.(ShivaKumar) I clearly stated while booking that I needed a Periodontist (gum specialist). Despite this, they scheduled the appointment and only informed me after I arrived that there is no periodontist at this location. They took a few X-rays, provided no relevant consultation or treatment for my concern, and still charged me $85. This felt misleading and unethical. A complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place.

Not only do they provide excellent dental work, cleaning, and care, but their customer service and client care are top notch. I live 30 to 40 minutes away, but absolutely find Advance Dental Care of Hutto to be worth the drive. It’s a huge bonus that this clinic is still a local, small business. Besides my regular dental care, they’ve taken care of my Invisalign and my front teeth veneers. Highly recommend just as they were highly recommended to me. I’ve got the whole family coming here.

Fantastic experience: We have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lomboy. This is our son’s first time in braces. Dr. Lomboy took his time in explaining the treatment plan and reason why our son needed braces. We came back today for a wire replacement and Susi was quick and efficient. Everyone in the office is really kind and goes out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend Advanced Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth over the weekend and called them Monday morning. They were able to work me in the same day and the dentist recommended a crown. He was able to do it right away and did a remarkable job! Hardly felt a thing. I can't say enough about how friendly and organized they were. Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing. Just had cleaning and x-rays, so I’ll follow up again when i get my crown and cavity done. But their team are very nice and helpful. They explained everything to me and what was about to happen. Update on Crown and Cavity: They did it again. Amazing job and procedure. I went with the sedation offer since I get pretty apprehensive during stuff like that. I was awake the whole time, but the sedation offered made me feel relaxed and everything went great!!!! Definitely going back to continue getting old, cracked fillings taken out and getting Crowns. 5 Stars for sure... Update 10-31-25 Amazing job as always. I had 2 more crowns to get rid of old metal fillings. Dr Tran was great as well as her Assistant (sorry forgot name)…. Both were very attentive to my needs and kept me calm during the whole procedure, always asking if i was OK. Another great visit and i hate going to the dentist. LOL.. Big thanks go out to the Staff and everyone involved.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chad is an amazing dentist! I really value knowing what work HAS to be done, what work SHOULD be done and what things I could do if I wanted. I feel completely informed in all 3 areas each time I visit with no pressure to do more work than is absolutely necessary (unless, of course I want more done). His staff is amazingly friendly and competent. You can't go wrong using Advanced Dental Care!

Negative experience: I am writing to share my experience with Advance Dental of Hutto, which has unfortunately been the worst dental experience I have ever had. In April 2025, after relocating to the area, I visited your office to establish care. During my exam, I was told I had a crack in a tooth that had been filled years ago. Although I had no pain at the time, I was advised that I needed a crown. I paid approximately $900 for the crown procedure. Soon after the crown was placed, I began experiencing significant pain that lasted for weeks. When I called the office for help, I was told I needed a root canal. I paid for that treatment as well, but my condition has only gotten progressively worse. Since that time, I’ve experienced constant pain, nerve sensitivity when brushing, and an abscess along my gumline that now causes visible swelling and discomfort. I can no longer chew on that side and have been dealing with this pain for nearly six months. When I reached back out to the office, hoping for an evaluation and accountability, I was told I would need to pay in cash for another exam and X-ray—even though the issue began with the procedures performed there. I did receive refunds for both the crown and root canal, but I am still left in serious pain and with lasting dental damage.

Negative experience: I really wish I would have read the reviews before I went in for dental services. I normally had a pleasant experience while visiting this dental office. I was having issues with a tooth and I was told that I needed a root canal. I set the appointment to get the root canal. I went to the appointment , when the numbing wore off I was in more pain than the initial toothache. I called to inform the doctor that’s weeks later i was still having issues with the tooth. I can back in and he redid the canal and I am in for worst pain than the first time he did it. I called again to let them know that the pain has gotten worse! Now all of a sudden I need to go see a special. So basically I wasted my money for a service that I did not receive. Now I also have to pay someone else to fix the damage that was done by Dr. Yohan Ghang. I have never expedited this type of tooth pain before in my life. I went in and came out worse than before. I will never go back to this place. If you need major dental work go else where

Fantastic experience: What can I say, they’re amazing. After so much dental trauma finally finding a knowledgeable, patient and most importantly honest dentist is complete relief. They were extremely kind and patient with my daughter too and gave her a thorough exam and cleaning.

She explains what dental work is needed & why & gives your price quote up front in a fair manner. Dr Tran is very professional & takes her time to answer all my questions. Fantastic experience: Their Dr’s and hygienists are great, I loo forward to every 4 months getting my teeth cleaned and a dental ck up. I think I might be doing an Invisalign pretty soon. Gotta get my teeth a little bit straighter. They’re really an outstanding business. One of the best Dentist I’ve ever been to.!

Negative experience: This is the only place I’ve ever had issues with my insurance. They run my insurance, give me a price to pay, and then end up billing me a second time saying my insurance didn’t end up covering the cost. They also don’t show me what the cost is going to be beforehand, they conveniently break it down after getting work done. I will be canceling future appointments and seeking a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: They have been wonderful for my son and I! Very thankful for them! Update: I have been going to them for quite some time now and the most striking thing I have encountered is a dental hygienist who told me so many stories of other places she has worked and how super unethical other places are in telling ppl they need work on their teeth when they don't. I mean, I can't even tell you how awful she said it is. But she said the atmosphere here is totally different. I believe her. I feel like the head dentist is extremely kind and honest. (I can't remember his name- he's Asian). I needed a crown reattached a few days ago and he totally could have told me it was chipped, it wouldn't work, we have to have a whole new one done- I mean, perfect opportunity to really make some money, but he didn't. It was $6 with insurance. Very, very thankful to find a business that is so honest with ppl at their most vulnerable nearby to me.

Fantastic experience: Once again Advanced Dental Care of Hutto proved why they are the best in Central Texas. I was worked in, once again, on short notice after cracking a tooth. Dr. Brown came in and surmised the situation and Dr. Tran did the work and did it well. I, along with my family, have been patients since Dr. Brown first opened his practice. We are always treated like family and the care given by him and his staff is nothing short of top shelf.

He prescribed an antibiotic which is what I have needed for a long time. Right now my jaw feels much better and my gums are not swollen. Negative experience: I’m deeply disappointed with Advanced Dental Care of Hutto and feel compelled to share our experience to warn other parents. My 12-year-old son had an initially promising first visit for a cleaning and checkup, which seemed professional. However, the show quickly fell apart. A few months later, my son developed a toothache, and we returned for treatment. Dr. Yohan Ghang diagnosed a root canal but failed to provide a treatment plan or cost estimate—crucial information for any patient. Shockingly, during the procedure, with my son’s tooth already opened, I received a call demanding $3,200. This far exceeded our $1,500 insurance limit, and we were blindsided, as no prior estimate was given. When I confronted the office about their lack of transparency, they casually admitted they “forgot” to provide an estimate. This is unacceptable. Worse, Dr. Yohan Ghang halted the procedure mid-treatment, refusing to continue until we paid the full amount upfront. With my son in pain and vulnerable, we felt coerced into paying. This behavior violates basic ethical standards, including the Hippocratic Oath, and exploits patients in desperate situations. After heated discussions, I paid what they wanted, and he completed the procedure, but the experience was distressing and unprofessional. The nightmare continued when, just 9 months later, my son experienced severe pain in the same tooth—a failure that should never occur so soon after a root canal. We had to return, enduring another painful procedure with the same dismissive and unkind staff. Their lack of empathy was terrible, especially for a child. Advanced Dental Care of Hutto’s high Google rating is misleading. They excel at charming first-time patients and aggressively solicit 5-star reviews immediately after initial visits. However, their deceptive pricing, lack of transparency, and subpar care reveal their true colors. Many patients, like us, don’t update reviews after negative experiences, which inflates their rating. Don’t be fooled by the shiny exterior—look for a dentist who prioritizes ethics, transparency, and patient care. We won’t be returning.

Positive experience: Over all I had an amazing experience at this office with Megan, my hygienist and Dr Ghang my Dentist. They were thorough and educational and helped me have a comfortable experience. My one complaint is that I was not welcomed to the office when I walked in. The two people at the front desk did not acknowledge me until I walked up to the desk and said “Hello, I would like to check in”.
