Fantastic experience: I moved to Douglassville Ga in September of 2023. 1st thing I did was to find a church to attend the 2nd thing was to find a Primary Care Physician who is affiliated with Emory Hospital. Now this was the Hardest thing to find a DENTIST, I believe in them as part of my health.It was so HARD TO FIND A DENTIST that would accept my Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.These well most, some wants you to accept their plan and sign you for a Contract with their billing. I thought I was going to be turned away for this appointment after 4 Dentist. I was accepted my Insurance was accepted they even went beyond and showed me what my insurance covered and how much they covered and what I have to pay. You don’t know how excited I was, the staff hygienist explained what her position was, the Dentist Tampa Bell, explain how they were going to treat me and because I didn’t know if I wanted Partials or Implants they’re referring me to a Dentist to explain the difference so I can return to Providence Family Dentistry and we will begin my journey. They are making sure I’m comfortable, the receptionist are on point with helping me to get my X-rays from another company who I didn’t like and never return they didn’t consider my insurance. If You are SEARCHING FOR A GREAT DENTISTRY, Providence Family Dentist is who you want for your Teeth your Smile and your Health.

Negative experience: I absolutely love seeing Kiva for my routine cleanings — she is amazing and such a doll! 10 out of 10, I highly recommend her. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the new front office staff has been very disappointing. My appointment in September was canceled due to maintenance and safety issues, and I was told someone would call me to reschedule. That follow-up call never came, which was quite unusual. When I stopped by the office in person, (I noticed that the front office are all new faces) I was informed they’re now booked until next year. Like WHAT?! ‍♀️ In the past, the previous staff was always courteous, proactive, and accommodating — especially in situations where the office had to cancel. The lack of communication and customer care from the new team has been truly frustrating. Because of this, I may have to find a new dental home, which is unfortunate since Kiva continues to provide such excellent care. I truly hope management takes this feedback into consideration and works to improve communication and scheduling so loyal patients don’t feel overlooked.

Positive experience: I was seen quickly at my appointment time. The staff was very friendly, remembering me from the past although it had been over a year. There was a misunderstanding on my part concerning the cost of my procedure. The Office manager did everything in her power to make me happy. I appreciated all of her efforts and we discussed ways for their not to be a misunderstanding in the future. I really appreciated the customer service and I would recommend this practice to my friends along with an explanation of how billing works so that there are no surprises.(smile).

Fantastic experience: Broke my front tooth yesterday. Called them to get an appointment, and got one for today. Showed up at my appointment, having to leave work to do so. The team did x-rays, exam and treatment plan and actually asked if I wanted to get it fixed right then!! I was surprised at the expedient nature in which the team will get this done. Negative experience: My problem with this particular dentist office is not the service I had actually great service. My problem is that when it comes to requesting documents they’re not trying to give the documents to me. I’ve been trying to just get itemized receipts or itemized statement from them . I had done months ago from last year The people in the office that I speak to they say they’re going to send it and never send it to the point I have to keep calling their office. I called one of the representatives and explained to him that my FSA Car is locked up due to documents. I need for them to verify for my key and my kid needs to go to the doctor too the guy showed me he was gonna send it and never sent it so the next day I’ve called the office repeatedly. They didn’t answer so when I call from private finally they answer then they lie put me on hold and hang up and they’re not answering the phone so I’m forced to actually go up there and look these people in the face Like it’s no problem or they have no problem smiling in your face when they need to take your money and take your insurance, but after the fact when you just need a receipt or documentation, it’s like pulling teeth so just be advised they’re smiling your face take your money and do what they need to do but if you need any type of documentation or God forbid your insurance needs to doublecheck or need documentation and you don’t have it they’re gonna give you the runaround and they’re not gonna provide it to you for whatever reason I don’t know but I know this is my last time dealing with this doctors office, I purposely went out my way and came all the way out just to experience something different But still, you can take certain people out of certain places and give them certain credentials but still they’ll never change who they truly are so just a FYI, these people like to play games when it comes to provide in documentation for whatever reason probably doing a scam.. I asked to verify documents and they sent me a screenshot of their computer. How am I supposed to provide that to my insurance office? .

Negative experience: Edit to respond to the practice. I did not receive a follow-up message, as shown in my screenshot of the texts received. It would be great to see where this alleged follow-up was sent because that is a complete lie. I received a text two days before my appointment asking that I update my insurance information to make my appointment as smooth as possible. This text had no mention of this being a requirement or indicating my appointment would be canceled if I did not respond. The day before my appointment I received a text indicating that my appointment was canceled. When I responded I was told that the need for this information was clearly communicated and that a follow-up reminder was sent. This was shockingly unprofessional and left me scrambling to find another dentist to take me on as a new patient to make sure I could get two cleanings in the same dental plan year. I would recommend finding another dentist if you’re looking.

Fantastic experience: II was having some issues with food particles getting trapped between my teeth which was causing a lot of discomfort. Dr. Bell was able to see me in quicker than I thought. After X-rays were taken, she saw that I needed new fillings. Dr. Bell corrected the problem and now I can chew and enjoy my food as normal. She did an excellent job Thanks so much. I have had numerous opportunities to switch up dental insurance and providers but I have stayed with this organization because of their professionalism and they treat me well. I will keep coming back. My only negative is that the equipment appears to have seen better days but I’m sure they will update all as time goes on Another great visit with CK for biannual cleaning. I later found out that my sister-in-law also goes to the same office from a farther distance, if sister-in-law approves of Providence then I made an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth over the weekend and it was driving me crazy. I needed an appointment as quickly as possible to resolve this issue. I called and they were able work me in the next day! What an amazing staff—friendly and efficient. Dr. Tampa Bell was awesome. She was able to repair my tooth without me experiencing any discomfort. Normally, I am very sensitive to anything dealing with my teeth. She has such a gentle touch—I didn’t need anything for pain. The office is modern and very clean!!! I highly recommend!!! I did not have soreness and discomfort as one sometimes experiences after dental cleanings. Fantastic experience: This Dental office and staff was truly amazing from the time I walked in to the end of the visit. To start, I was able to complete all of my paperwork online. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. My appt was at 11, and I was taken to the back at 11. The dental assistant was very friendly, skilled and comforting, and the doctor was also friendly and gentle. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a while due to a bad experience with a lot of pain, so I was extremely anxious and apprehensive.
