I am so impressed with Peppermint Dental from them scheduling the appointment and verifying my benefits to the preventive services by the hygienist Michelle and the dental exam by Dr. Lee. Michelle is excellent and explained everything completely. The receptionists are warm and friendly.

The hygienist Michelle,was gentle, thorough and talked through each step. Dr. Lee was very nice. Just an awesome office of awesome humans!

I think this is my 2nd or third time having dental work completed over the past 7 yrs by a dentist at Peppermint Dentistry and they all have been great. No pain felt during or after the dental procedures. My family members also all agree. I highly recommend them even though I’m usually a skeptic ☺️. You’ve got to try them for yourself.

Positive experience: The staff don't appear to be happy there. Nobody smiles. Im already afraid to go to the Dentist. This did not make it easier.

Negative experience: After several dental appointments with them and never being asked for a co-pay for routine preventative care that I have insurance for that covers 100% now they want me to pay a co-pay, even though it’s clear that I am not going to owe a co-pay, even though I called my insurance and had them on the phone Saying the same thing. I’m so sick of dental offices, being unable to handle insurance claims in 10 years of using my insurance I’ve never been asked for a co-pay for preventative routine visit and nor should I. I will find a dentist that cares about it’s customers.

Negative experience: I used to love this place but office staff is very rude. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and they switch out dental hygienist and dentist often, but every dentist and dental hygienist that I have met has been nice and has taken good care of me. I called to see if I can have an early morning appointment rescheduled and the receptionist that answered the phone was rude and sarcastic (Kayla) I also called a few weeks ago to ask about my mom’s aftercare after her dental surgery and whoever I spoke to that day was also rude. I don’t have to put up with being talked down to at a place that I’m paying to receive dental care. What they don’t realize is that they have just lost 3 patients. Myself, my mom, and my niece who all I’ve encouraged to start dental care here. We will find somewhere where the receptionist know a thing or two about customer service. I am a RN and work directly with patients and I know patient satisfaction is one of the most important aspects of care. Peppermint dental needs to ensure that they prioritize that starting with the front desk.

Before if going there, I visited another dental office and the estimated cost for my treatment was higher than the one I received in Peopermint, in spite I was using the dental insurance. When I come to Peppermint, they explained me everything I asked and took the the time to repeat any thing I was nit understanding. Service was on time. I love this office

The entire staff is so friendly starting from Check in front office staff to the Assistants and Doctors! I’ve had the chance to meet with both Dr.Geff and Dr. Casco and you can’t go wrong with either! And the Halloween decor this month is ADORABLE

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The dental hygienist was more focused on chatting than on the actual cleaning, which led to her repeatedly pinching my gums. It was painful and completely avoidable had she been paying proper attention. The appointment dragged on much longer than necessary, likely because of these constant distractions. Afterward, I tried to raise my concerns with Oda and Kila, but instead of addressing the issue, they simply told me to find another dentist. That response was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. My gums are still in significant pain, and I’m frustrated by the lack of care and accountability. I expected much better and unfortunately cannot recommend this office anymore.

Fantastic experience: I normally hate any visit to the dentists office but over at Peppermint Dental they changed that for me. Had a great experience from everyone from the receptionist to the dentist. Actually had to have a tooth extracted and I was terrified but it went smoother than expected and he explained everything to me. They've got my business forever.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting peppermint. Everything was wonderful. The front desk staff was great, friendly and nice. The hygienist was very very attentive, knowledgeable and kept me informed of everything she was doing. Dr. Wong was great as well. He came in & he explained everything to me & why he made his recommendations. He let me know that I would need to get a care plan and was not forcing me to get anything done at the moment. They explained everything to me that was needed and how to go about scheduling it as well as with insurance. There were no surprises And I love that everything was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy my experience with peppermint Dental a lot. The whole crew were very courteous, efficient and helpful. And most of all, I like work of my Doctor Frederique Faucheu, DMD, she was very efficient, and detailed in what she did, and did not extend herself in services that were not necessary. She only did what she had to do, and what was required. She didn't go into extensive work, just so more could be taken out of insurance co, like other places that I have visited here in Rowlett. So, please visit and see what I mean!!! You get exceptional service all the way!!!!!

Negative experience: Came in for tooth extraction, they let me leave with no stitches or bone graft just big hole in my mouth. Came back after I had to call and ask why. While doing stitches dentist doesn't numb area enough hurt me so bad tears came out, not very impressed for $750 bucks

I was initially terrified, especially since one of my teeth was impacted, but the procedure was completely pain-free. I sat in the chair, and before I knew it, everything was done without any discomfort. The staff was outstanding—kind, professional, and confident in what they were doing. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for from start to finish. The recovery process was also seamless thanks to the clear instructions they provided, which set the right expectations and helped me heal without issues. This is by far the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. The staff is excellent, and their equipment is modern and up to date. I highly recommend this place and have already been telling friends and family to come here. I am 100% satisfied with my experience!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. They got me in quickly , it was an emergency I had a broken tooth . Both doctors were so kind and patient. I have horrible anxiety and they made the whole experience really comfortable. The office staff was great and the assistant was amazing! She was so kind. August 2025 Here I am again with an emergency situation. The Doctor and Staff were amazing’ ! Everyone was so caring knowing that I had anxiety when it came to the dentist . But they made me feel so relaxed and comfortable during the extraction of my tooth . Will definitely continue to go to them !

Fantastic experience: Initially, we had a billing issue after my son's filling where it seemed our insurance hadn't covered everything as expected, leading to a larger-than-anticipated bill. However, I want to commend this office for their exceptional follow-through and dedication to their patients. Despite the insurance complications being outside of their control, the dentist and their billing team went above and beyond to investigate and find a resolution. They were incredibly communicative, patient, and persistent in working through the issue, even though the insurance ultimately didn't cover the initial amount. What truly impressed me was their willingness to advocate for us and find a way to make things right. They demonstrated genuine care and integrity, which is rare to find. My son had a great experience with his filling, and now, thanks to their efforts with the billing, we have a completely positive one. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this dentist office. They truly care about their patients!

Positive experience: The facility looks old on the outside, however the inside looked nice & clean. The overhead tv was cool & modern. On the flip side, there were no disposable paper sheets covering the exam chairs. I did not receive an electric toothbrush as I had anticipated. The Dr/Dentist was nice, friendly, respectable, and good looking. The hygienist was polite, offered me a pair of sunglasses while looking up into the light. The other hygienist was out I’ll, therefore my son was not able to get his teeth cleaned. The timing was fair, not too long of a wait time. The pricing was genuine/no smokescreens.

Positive experience: Wonderful dentistry. I don't have any dental issues and they can normally fit me in. The Drs are friendly and hygienist does a great job making me feel comfortable. I would recommend them, unless you like boutique style dentist offices. I like nice and simple.

Negative experience: Lack of direct communication from the orthodontist, dismissive staff behavior: 02-03-2025 I recently had a concerning experience at Peppermint Dental that I feel compelled to share. My 17-year-old son had been wearing braces for 1.5 years and was due to have them removed today. Upon arrival, an assistant informed us that part of his bottom left section braces was broken, causing teeth misalignment. This was a shock, as we were cleaned just two weeks prior with no mention of any issues. When I inquired about the orthodontist's name to better understand the situation, I was met with defensive responses from a staff member who seemed more interested in controlling the narrative and blaming my son for the whole matter than addressing my concerns. The lack of proactive communication about my son's dental health was deeply troubling. Eventually, I spoke with the orthodontist, who explained the situation and repaired the braces, extending treatment for another three months. However, I was disappointed that: 1. The orthodontist didn't initially communicate this significant issue directly to me. 2. The staff was dismissive of my concerns and was not empathetic or helpful. 3. The office failed to notice or inform us of the broken braces during our recent cleaning and exam. 4. No one apologized for the oversight or lack of monitoring. While I appreciate the eventual resolution, this incident highlights a need for improved communication, patient care, and accountability at this practice. I hope sharing this experience helps other parents be more vigilant and encourages the office to enhance its procedures and patient interactions.

If I’m being honest, the dentist is not my favorite place but from the minute I walked in everyone there was so nice and friendly and made me feel more comfortable as I’m always nervous being at the dentist. And normally after a cleaning my mouth is sore and it hurts to bite down for a while after but I had Bree (not sure how she spells it) and she did amazing! I will definitely be recommending Peppermint Dental to all my friends and family. They are worth it!
