Negative experience: I went to Laser Family Dental seeking a partial denture. From the beginning, I was repeatedly told that my insurance would not cover a partial, and instead I was strongly encouraged to pursue Invisalign and dental implants. As a Medicaid patient, this felt inappropriate and financially unrealistic. I was told that a prior authorization had been submitted to my insurance. Over the course of six months, I was repeatedly told that the process was underway. After finally contacting my insurance myself, I was informed that no prior authorization had ever been submitted. This resulted in months of unnecessary delays and misinformation. I ultimately went to another dental provider and received a partial denture within two months, which confirmed that this treatment was, in fact, covered and achievable. Based on my experience, I felt strung along and pressured toward significantly more expensive options rather than being offered transparent, appropriate care. Unfortunately, this made me feel that financial considerations were prioritized over patient well-being.

Furthermore, the use of toxic and inexpensive materials poses a significant health risk. In light of these concerns, I strongly advise against engaging in such practices.‼️‼️

Negative experience: The wait before entering is long, and once inside, you sit in a chair and wait for someone to come to you. After your appointment, they call and bother you for no reason, continuing to call for several days. This is annoying. If you cared about your patients' comfort, you would provide better service.

After they took my teeth out, they told me it would only take about an hour, but I was left waiting from the morning until closing. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. Negative experience: Very poor service, no one answers the phone, even when I leave them a voice message, they don't call me back. This shows how little they care about their patients. Stay away from this clinic, they are a joke.

Negative experience: I was seeing Dr.D at this office. After he retired I was unable to go back until yesterday. I hadn’t seen the dentist Dr Bachuri before. I only needed to have 3 O Rings placed on my implants, cleaning, that they do by placing in a machine and they said I needed an X-ray. I didn’t want to have one because I’ve had cancer and I’m going for a PET scan next week. Bachuri said I needed one. They probably spent 15 minutes with me and I was left waiting for about a half hour the rest of my appointment. When I went to pay my bill I was told it was $600.00. I told the girl that I had only had an X-ray, 3 O Rings and they cleaned my Dentures which I handed to them. She insisted I owed $600.00. I paid it but they knew I was upset. By the time I got to my car I was so upset that I called her. I told her I wanted to speak to the dentist about my bill. She said he didn’t speak to patients about bills. She said she did that. I told her I thought I had been overcharged. She placed me on hold and when she came back she said she could take $100.00 off my bill. I went back in and my bill was $500.00. I asked for copies of my X-ray and records. I told her I would not be returning as a patient and neither would my husband or daughter. They gave me a paper copy of the X-ray and said they would email my records to me. So far I haven’t received my records. I would never recommend this dentist because of the outrageous price they charge. I had told them that I didn’t have a dental plan. Medicare doesn’t pay for dental work. I really felt like because of being retired and my age I was taken advantage of by this office. Laser Family Dental on Dequindre near 18 Mile in Troy,Mi will not be referred to by me again. Dr D’s Staff has left this office too. After Dr. D left they didn’t want to work there. Since Dr D retired I would recommend Dr. Kozicki in Troy,Mi or Dr. John Dinka in Sterling Heights,Mi. Negative experience: I was never a super huge fan of this place but now the front desk just does not answer the phone. I had to change my appointment and tried to call for three days. I must’ve called about 10 times and left three messages with no response back at all. I finally got a hold of somebody first thing in the morning on the fourth day. Rather than changing my appointment, I just canceled the whole thing and will not be back.

Negative experience: Not good at all! The girls and the assistants are very sweet. However this rating is based solely on the doctor’s quality of work. I don’t understand how binding on two front teeth is so difficult. It chipped twice and I had to go back to get it fixed. The second time he said to do Veneers and charge me $$$ I felt so pressured and when asking him to just remove the binding on the other tooth so my two front teeth matched he said okay. His secretary said it’ll be $150 I said fine. Then he comes back and says he’s not comfortable and wouldn’t do remove any bonding and pressured me in doing the veneer I said fine then as soon as I left I got a horrifying feeling that they were going to mess up my teeth more and cancelled everything! Horrible quality of work! I feel so bad for the patients that go there that do not know any better!!!! Ended up going to glow smile on big beaver who were much more professional.
