Fantastic experience: I love this dentistry ! I came in after a couple years of not going to the dentist and I was experiencing pain. They got right to the root of my issues and came up with a dental plan. I’ve had 2 root canals so far with Dr. Schneider and Persephone and they are an incredible team. I was so nervous and they made me feel so comfortable by explaining the process and overall great energy. The whole team is amazing and I love coming to the dentist now lol. I been recommending friends and family to go to them. God bless you guys

Fantastic experience: We had a very pleasant experience. The staff were very welcoming, courteous, & professional. If you're a new patient, you might want to get the initial packet in advance (it's a lot to fill out). I wish that process was available online (if it isn't). The doctors & surgeon consult & confer with each other while including you in the discussion to address any concerns. Great visit.

Negative experience: Not pleased with the office. I used to enjoy this office for routine visits. I have never had any cavities and never had any real dental work outside of routine visits for cleanings. Team recommended a treatment that I opted to decline and since I refused their treatment recommendation they refused to continue to treat for future visits. No alternative options were offered to me either after asking. I don't like that. I believe that patients should be allowed to decide against recommended treatments if they decide to under self determination. update..I was called to return after this review and told by management I could receive a regular cleaning along with an apology for the situation. However when I returned to the office, I was again pressured to receive a treatment that I advised I was against multiple times. This time I left and I will not return as I do not believe that patients should be pressured into costly optional treatments.

Fantastic experience: Crown fell off Thursday night. Called 8:15 am on Friday. Dentist BOOKED but the wonderful young lady asked me to hold came back and asked me to be there by 9:00. Made it there by 8:45 and I was out by 9:00. Office staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Dentist was great. Going there for years and have NEVER had an issue with the office and their staff. Always left with my teeth feeling fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Customer Service is not dead! I recently wrote a poor review of Smile Exchange due to the billing situation I found myself in. I finally found a staff member who understood the issue and worked tirelessly with me and my health insurance to resolve the billing issue. Of course, it was Angel who came to the rescue. Angel has been fantastic to work with since I began going to Smile Exchange. I am excited to be able to go back to Smile Exchange. I love my dentist and the staff. Paris is also an excellent dental assistant and is one of the reasons I stayed on after my first dentist left the practice to move to Texas. If it were not for these ladies, this practice wouldn't work without them. Old Post- I have been going to this dentist's practice for several years. I am sad to have to leave the practice because I like Dr. Kahn, BUT I have repetitively called Smile Exchange to help rectify a billing error done by Smile Exchange. The codes that Smile Exchange used in the billing were incorrect (it looks like Smile Exchange double-billed the insurance company for the same procedure). I have called several times and asked the practice to kindly help me work with my TWO (2) healthcare providers and get the bill paid for by the insurance company (I have already paid the bill). Both insurances cover the procedure I had. I have only received one call back and have asked them repetitively to return my call or email me, but I can't get that. I don't yell. I am not disrespectful; I am just being ignored and treated like a bank for the practice. I will be filing an official complaint with the PA Dental Board and my healthcare company, as well as a complaint with the Health and Welfare Fund, which manages both healthcare plans. Sadly, it doesn't matter how long you have been with the practice and whether your insurance company has never denied a claim submitted correctly; Smile Exchange will not even try to advocate for you. It's not their money.

Fantastic experience: I went for a check up and cleaning, took great care of me, very friendly. Treat you like family. Love the service, ask questions about your mouth and teeth. Dentist can help your body when taking care of your mouth, it all ties together in health care.

Negative experience: The first temporary crown fell out three times. They then had to cut it out only to discover the permanent crown did not fit. The 2nd temporary crown is falling out for the 2nd time. *The permanent crown was placed 4 weeks later. The quality of work is very poor. I do not expect it to ladt and I anticipate this work will have to be redone at a different practice. This will be my first and last experience with this dental practice.

Positive experience: Smile exchange and staff are friendly and very nice but It's sad they didn't have a sign language interpreter. If the deaf patient can't read or can't understand, what should you do? My biggest suggestion is to use live interpreters or tablet video remote interpreters for deaf people. If you're deaf, you'll have to rely on an ASL interpreter or a tablet.

Negative experience: After a tooth in the front extracted was fitted for a flipper. A temporary tooth pop in and pop out and I'm very unhappy. The color is completely off. The fit is tight, it cuts into my gums. And I whistle on every second word every time I speak. I sound like a referee at a basketball game. I'm very unhappy with this procedure and. The result

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Tonia Khan to have two very large cavities filled under old existing filling. I was having the filling done with caps.  Dr. Khan and her assistant were excellent at calming my nerves. I never felt any pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan to my family and friends.

I actually look forward to my appointments like I never had in the past thanks to the way that Laura does things professionally but friendly.

My tooth that ive had issues with for years and no one would help me with is now nonexistent. The pain ive had for years was relieved in less than an hour. Im overly satisfied with my experience.

Fantastic experience: My in person experience was great both times I was there. The staff there are all great. But my complain is about the on-call service after hours. I had an emergency on the weekend that required to speak to someone to help me, I was told to leave a message, I did but no one ever responded to my message at all. I believe that if there is an option for on-call service then it should be provided.

Fantastic experience: I went to Smile Exchange in September of 2023 with 3 missing teeth…two in the front and 1 on the side. All were noticeable whenever I smiled. My confidence was very low, I was very nervous about dental procedures and I also had lost a crown from one of my lower back teeth. During my initial consultation with Dr Schneider I told him I had an interest in dental implants. However , I wanted to be put to sleep to have them implanted. Dr Schneider assured me that he would be able to perform the implant procedure without me being in any pain during the process. On September 24th I had 3 implants implanted. Two in the front and one on the side. I felt nothing during the procedure. However, there was very little discomfort afterwards. Nothing that Tylenol or Motrin couldn’t fix. Also I forgot to mention he restored my crown that was missing from my lower tooth. The staff along with Dr. Schneider made me feel very comfortable during each visit. They were always friendly and explained the procedure’s in detail. I would recommend and encourage anyone needing any kind of dental work to call Smile Exchange on Baltimore Pike in Springfield Pa. You won’t be disappointed. Dr. Schneider is one of the best and kindest Dentist that I have ever encountered. Linda C

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist of many years has been out on medical leave, and I needed to find a new dentist. Emergency root canal is never fun, and I was nervous about finding a good dentist to handle it. Dr. Schneider at Smile Exchange of Springfield did a great job, took the time to isolate pain to correct tooth, locate tricky root location, repeated shaping bite on build up til perfect. By evening, novacaine wore off, painless mouth once again!

Fantastic experience: My experience was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly, you can tell that they care about the people who walk through those doors. The tech who did my ex rays was very gentle and talked me through the whole process. The dr showed me the images and explained everything that was going on with my teeth both the bad and the good. It was a lot of good information to help me in the long run when it comes to my oral health. They helped me with a payment plan and I didn’t feel any judgment of not having insurance or being able to afford the services. It was just a pleasant experience overall and I’m happy to be a patient!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to this dentist office . I called on Monday and was able to get schedule an appointment on Wednesday as a new patient . The receptionist at the front desk were friendly and check in was easy. Waiting area was clean and not busy. Once I was called back I was able to get my X-rays by Asia and we chatted a little about why I came in today. I was taken into another room where Dr. Schneider came in to review my X-rays and take a look at my mouth . He gave some recommendations and then another Doctor came in to check my gums and do a deep scaling cleaning . Overall everyone was helpful and friendly. The process was simple and I'm ready to get my recommended treatments done .

Negative experience: This place just like to run your insurance and take advantage. The first visit they ran my insurance and I gave me an estimate of what was covered and everytime I came back implied that my insurance only paid a portion. The billing department continues to harass me that I owed every time I came back. There is no way i exhaust my benefits off of one visit. Stay away
