Fantastic experience: This practice is beyond outstanding! My provisional broke late on a Friday. Dr. Kile was willing to meet with me on Saturday if necessary. How great was that? Fortunately I was able to still eat and not cause any additional damage so the emergency visit wasn't needed. I went to the Urbana office on Monday (I'm usually seen at the Mechanicsburg office) and Dr. Kile and Roxie was able to rebuild my provisional, secured it, and made it very comfortable again. Roxie even directed me to a few great establishment s to have a delicous lunch. Thanks Dr. Kile and Roxie!

They are knowledgeable and just all-around wonderful people. Roxie [sorry don't know her last name] became my friend for the few hours I was there and, actually I can't wait to see her again! I had insurance, but they worked with me on a payment plan for the overage. Cannot recommend this place enough. A++++ experience. Update: Over a year later and I cannot speak highly enough about this dentist office. The whole crew [that I've met, including the lovely ladies up front] treat me with care, and know what they're doing. I regret not coming in sooner. Roxie does my cleanings and filings etc, she is the best! Dr. Marta is so nice, very gentle with any drilling, pulling etc. Don't be afraid, get those teeth looked at!

Negative experience: The office is beautiful and service is great. However, when scheduling, the staff asked if I have dental insurance and told me to bring my card. They did not inform me that they are out of network for ALL insurance companies until after my sons had their teeth cleaned. So, I had to pay a very large sum that will only be reimbursed about 50% by my insurance. If an office is in network, I pay nothing for routine cleaning and X-rays. This is something that should have been very clear on their website and in office so you know you are accepting those costs when you schedule, it should not be a surprise at the end of the visit.

Fantastic experience: The office is beautiful. The dentists and hygienists and other staff members are all first rate. By far, the best dental practice I’ve experienced & I’m a senior citizen who has seen many dentists. I highly recommend this dentist!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have chosen to use the coverage Urbana Dental Smiles offers. Today was my 6 month follow up and cleaning. Carrie was my hygienist and wonderful. I have also had my cleaning by Roxcy and Martha Doss (all are excellent, so whoever you have doing your work, you will be in good hands). My teeth were cleaned and polished and then fluoride was applied. Dr. Marta came and confirmed the work done by Carrie. If you don’t have Dental care, please consider Urbana Dental Smiles.

I’m also very happy with the ‘membership’ option, paying a low monthly fee and then 2 cleanings per year free, plus one free emergency visit and other benefits. Their office and settings made you feel so comfortable. Beverages were layed out and offered while I waited. The staff listened to my needs and took note of my fears. They were willing to work with me financially to help me get the work needed. At a time of unexpected emotional crisis concerning my teeth they took control of my situation talked me through my emotional concerns and fears as if to say "We got this".. my problem could be resolved. Fantastic experience: Dr. Lovell and her team have truly given me my life back. After suffering a trauma that years later resulted in losing an upper front tooth, I suffered through mistreatment by my former dentist in Columbus who used a great amount of fear to push me into agreeing to multiple costly procedures that ended up not being in the interest of the health of my teeth, but in the interest of lining their pockets with no guarantee of longevity on my end. I came to Dr. Lovell in search of a second opinion and discussion of other options and I was met with nothing but kindness and understanding. I was prepared for a lengthy and emotionally damaging process of waiting for a dental implant that could potentially end up not being a viable solution. Dr. Lovell took the time to discuss options with me that my former dentist never provided. While my mouth needed some work, their findings were not nearly as dire as I was made to believe at my former office, and it is so disheartening that some dentists will use your fear to better only themselves. Dr. Martell was honest, thorough, discussed pros and cons, and provided me the comfort of making my own decision without judgement. She and her team provided me with beautiful bridge work that ended my emotional suffering in the span of a month. They understood my needs instead of brushing me off in favor of multiple costly procedures that could eventually fail. I am no longer terrified of visiting the dentist and I owe that to this office. I cannot recall the name of the tech who assisted the doctor in designing and seating my bridge, but she is an angel among us and her kindness was such a comfort in my darkest and scariest time of need.

From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, I was welcomed with smiling faces and reassuring words. The team was professional and thorough and guided me through the new patient appointment with ease. I was made to feel comfortable and ever step of the process was explained. I’ll be needing to return for additional work, but this first visit has assured me that I’ll be in good hands. I can’t say I’ve been cured of that dentist visit anxiety, but if my next visits are anything like the first, I’m confident Dr Marta and her team will once again do everything possible to ease those feelings.
