Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my visit at Whispering Oaks Family Dental. Everyone was nice and helpful. The whole environment of the place was relaxing. I was not stressed like other places I have been. The dentist was nice as well. What really impressed me, aside from the things I talked about prior, was their use of technology. You can see the pictures/xrays on the screen with the dentist. The dentist can talk about your teeth while he refers to the screen. It also limits the amount of time the dentist has to go in your mouth. I highly recommend Whispering Oaks Family Dental!!

Negative experience: Waited an hour and people after me went back. Let them know how long I had waited before they finally called me back. Someone dropped the ball and forgot about me with no apology.

Positive experience: Staff is courteous with a smile, I arrived on-time, was seen on time, provided a comprehensive review before my cleaning, met with the Doc who paid attention to interests and developed a patient centered plan, assisted in scheduling follow up all in the same visit. They also provided plenty of treatment options with a few options for payment and even initiated insurance billing and approval processes.

Positive experience: I started going to this dentist because it was very close to my home and it appeared to be a nice office. I practice good dental hygiene so I didn’t have a lot of issues with my teeth. On my first visit the dentist recommended Invisalines because of an issue with the alignment of my jaw that I have had since birth. I had adapted to this issue and it didn’t present any problems. At my age I couldn’t see spending $5,000.00 ( initial price) and going thru the discomfort and inconvenience of braces. I continued going to this office because the dental hygienist was excellent. Since I have good dental hygiene I didn’t need much more than cleaning in my visits. I noticed on a few of the visits the dentist didn’t come in after the cleaning for the usual oral inspection that I had every time at other dentist offices. Another time he did come in for the inspection he continued to try and convince me to get Invisalines. To be fair one other time he didn’t push them. Only once since going there when I actually saw the dentist he did not attempt to sell Invisalines. When I did have a problem with pain from a molar and mentioned it. Again the dentist started the hard sell for Invisalines to correct the problem I had been dealing with for several months. I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist. That dentist diagnosed the problem as a cracked tooth and fixed the problem. This saved me several thousand dollars for those Invisalines which still would not have fixed the problem. After that experience I decided not to return to Whispering Oaks for my future dental care. If you are looking for Invisalines only I guess this would be the place to go. Be sure first, that Invisalines will actually correct your problem before spending that kind of money. Routine dental care does not seem to be their primary concern.

Fantastic experience: I understand why this dental office has such a high rating. The service is excellent, the staff is attentive, and I've never seen my 8-year-old this relaxed and comfortable at a dental clinic. 5 ⭐

Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience with this office. Jesse was funny, professional, and walked me through the steps/images being taken, as well as my cleaning. The Dr was great and explained everything simply. The technology/equipment in the office is a cool experience as well.

Negative experience: It’s always the “one bad” experience that ruins it… well in my case it was two bad experiences with the same issue. The problem was that I had a crown come off my tooth. When I called to ask about coming in to get it fixed, I was put into the regular appointment schedule. So in other words, they have no room for “emergency type” of visits. Rather, I had to wait all weekend and then come in the following week to be seen. All while dealing with an unprotected and uncomfortable tooth for several days.

I feared the list of things that needed to be done to my teeth and avoided going for routine checks because of all the fees that came with finally getting care. I finally got referred to Whispering Oaks Family dental by a friend. It was the best service I have ever received. Fom start to finish, they were friendly, compassionate, and fun. I loved my dental hygienist! The Dentist was honest and theral. He focused on what needed to get done and what was a priority. I walked out with only needing work on one tooth! Will definitely be back!

Negative experience: I had heard great things about the doctor at this location however I never had the opportunity to meet him. I scheduled a new patient appointment for a cleaning weeks in advance. I show up for the appointment and the front desk staff tell me that my appointment was cancelled because it was not confirmed. The problem was that I never received an email, text or call about this. I had to make arrangements with my employer to take time off for this appointment just to have it cancelled when I show up. Bad experience overall for me (cannot speak about the doctor) but for the scheduling process.

Negative experience: Usually when I take daughter the experience is good, but the last time it was definitely not. Our appointment was at 7:30, I called at 7:15 that we might be a few minutes late. The person on the person on the phone than let’s me know in a somewhat rude tone, that our appointment will be canceled if we are 15min late. When I got there it was 7:33. They checked us in and they didn’t call us back until 15 min later. So the appointment was at 7:30, you told me it will be canceled if I’m 15min, but you do NOT call us back until 7:48, makes no sense.

Fantastic experience: Simply the best! I’ve been to many practices over the years, and none can compare to the level of care, professionalism, and compassion that Dr. Barton and his staff at Whispering Oaks provide. We even call each other “cuz” because we have the same last name lol - Cal Barton

Negative experience: I went in and received a normal dental cleaning from a real professional. The problem that I have is that my insurance was charged for a deep cleaning that I did not receive. Deep cleaning is several hundred dollars more which put me over my deductible and I was charged for it. I am not happy with the way that they conduct business and will probably look for another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Going to a new dentist for the first time can be a bit unsettling. The staff, hygienists, and dentist at Whispering Oaks provided a positive experience from beginning to end. Everyone I interacted with was attentive and knowledgeable. Most important my teeth and gums were well cared for. I have and would recommend this dental office to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Barton for a second opinion about a possible cavity beneath a veneer. He was very thorough and communicated the solution well. The staff was very friendly and any wait time negligible. He is now my go-to person.

Fantastic experience: today I had an appt at WHISPERING OAKS, for my bi-annual teeth cleaning. My scheduled appt was on time, and the cleaning went well. I would HIGHLY recommend this location and DENTIST/STAFF to anyone looking for Dental work. VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, MODERN AND UP TO DATE COZYNESS.

Fantastic experience: Staff is so friendly and Dr. Barton is so kind. We had a bad experience at a previous pediatric dentist in town so I was a ball of nerves our first visit which was our second opinion and it was amazing, just night and day. I went from thinking we were going to have to pay thousands and my child undergo oral surgery under general anesthesia to her needing 1 filling which was performed in office in about 15 mins, and she didn’t feel any pain. So they are great with kids too. My kids love going to the dentist now which makes my life easier. We will be patients here for as long as possible
