Fantastic experience: Michelle is an awesome hygienist. She recommends specific things to work on in relation to my dental health and when I follow her recommendations I always see improvement. She is THE BEST hygienist I have ever had. Dr Niemeyer is a gentle dentist but because of Michelle's recommendations, I usually only see him yearly for an exam.

Negative experience: This place is not what it used to be. I suffered a very bad dental procedure which required months of oral physical therapy. Moody and uncaring staff. Horrible follow up and even worse scheduling. Best thing I did was to find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I believe when you make a change in a medical practioner you should review this change carefully. I did and was very satisfied. My experience with Dr. Jason Niemeyer and his co-workers was more than I had anticipated. Although Silverdale Dental Center has multiple dentists and support co-workers, my visit, the examination, photos, etc. was all about me. From entering the building until I left everyone was very professional, genuine, and smiles were everywhere! The billing and "next cost" for my cleaning and a crown replacement was itemized and so easy to understand. I now ask myself - why did I wait so long to make this change?

Fantastic experience: This office is beautiful. But the people are even more so. The treatments I have gotten here in the last 3 months have been unbelievably easy. They talked me through each appointment making sure i understood what I was getting done or what was to be done in future appointments. The front desk… let me say this… WONDERFUL. Every person here should be given a raise and a hug(or a high five). Any who, yes I recommend this office and staff. Also- the music here is fabulous

Fantastic experience: I put off this appointment for a year due to fear. The day finally came where I went in for the appointment. Kelvin was the first person I encountered and he instantly calmed me. He set the tone for the appointment. He assured me it would be fine and had the most upbeat and positive vibe. He is 1,000 percent is in his perfect career. Kelvin IS the front of the house and is the definition of customer service. The actual appointment was far better than I could have expected. I was uncomfortable for a brief second and Dr. Martin made sure I instantly became comfortable again. She took her time and treated me with care and respect. Fantastic experience: Carol was a gentle and effective hygienist. The exam with the doctor was quick and painless. Temperature at the office was comfortable. The front staff was very nice and attentive, even told me when I could expect to go back after waiting extra long (no prompting for an update).

Fantastic experience: We accidentally went to the wrong dentist’s office and ended up being late. They squeezed us in to a later appointment and I’m really thankful. Love the office personnel. My kiddos did great here.

Negative experience: First of all I would never write a negative review unless my experience was not satisfactory. I came to the Silverdale Dental Clinic almost two years to replace. the snap in bottom denture with a permanent type of implant. Information about the process was given in a very positive, everything is going to be great sorta attitude. Dr. Niemeyer reassured me that the top and bottom teeth would work together, and chewing would not be a problem. ( It was.). Food spitting out from under the bottom implants happens Everytime I eat. Dr.Niemeyer tells me to use a water pick twice a day. I not only use the pick, I brush, use rinse, other picks and drink water with each bite. Nothing fixes the issue. I spent over $22,000.00 for the bottom 4 implants

Fantastic experience: I started seeing this dentist a few years ago and had gum issues. They set me on a treatment plan and I am pleased to say I don’t hate to go to my appointments now. I love my hygienist and the office staff is always friendly and professional. You won’t be disappointed at this dentist!

Positive experience: I’ve been a long time patient here and have always had the best care! The staff and dentists are the greatest! Sadly I’ll be leaving this practice because in the past 5 years they haven’t been able to see me every 6 months due to not enough staff. I have other medical issues that make it important for me to get a cleaning on time. I’ll hopefully return one day when their schedule is under control.

Fantastic experience: Silverdale Dental Center is very patient with me. I have suffered many dental traumas from previous dentists. My anxiety and fear kept me away from being treated. All staff take the time to explain what is going to happen before, during, and after. Always willing to listen and answer my questions.

Positive experience: As always, my experiences over time have always been favorable. Everyone is friendly and efficient, Thanks This visit, May 15, 2025 was ok, but I was not happy having to remove my earrings for the circular head teeth Xray. Your office needs to notify the patient PRIOR to the appointment date. I had difficulty removing the earrings I was wearing that day, and if it had been the day before I would have refused to remove the ones I was wearing then because they are very expensive emeralds, more difficult to remove than the ones I was wearing on the day of the treatment. I have numerous earrings which would have been removed more quickly and less painfully. Also interesting that the patient needs to pay much more because Delta Dental doesn't cover the greater cost of the updated machine. Apparently the patient doesn't have a choice on that. No prior notice was given on that one. Other than the above listed things, my visit was ok.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my three boys (ages 3, 5, and 7) to Dr. Reya for several years now, and I can confidently say she’s been a wonderful part of our dental journey. As an anxious and often nervous parent, I truly appreciate how she takes the time to explain everything in simple, easy-to-understand terms. She always offers her professional recommendations while still respecting our choices and never making us feel pressured. Thanks to her care and guidance, many of my concerns about my children’s dental health have been eased, and we’ve come such a long way. Her staff is consistently kind, patient, and accommodating—especially with the kids. While going to the dentist is rarely a “fun” experience, Dr. Reya and her team do an amazing job of making it as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist! Super kind, gentle, and great with the kids. The assistants are also kind. Fun space in the back for teeth cleaning and has a tv on the ceiling, which helps them sit still. The waiting area also has a cute little space with some books and a few activities.

Negative experience: First visit, ambushed with 25(!) X-rays. I had already requested that my records be brought over from my prior dentist (I have gone every 6 months for 15 years). Well lo and behold now I need an entire new serious of x-rays (just had them in July) because they ignored my request to get my records. Finally got an exam and was given a list of like 10 teeth that need crowns and/or fillings. Really? I just saw my dentist. Total work planned was JUST below my yearly insurance maximum. What a coincidence! Exam interrupted while doc and staff discussed another patients medical issues in front of me. Then I had to sit there and wait while they wrote down all the work that had ever been done in my mouth, why didn't you just get my chart from my dentist? My daughter was scheduled for a cleaning, found out later that her cleaning was not done by a hygienist? Took HOURS and it was an initial visit/exam. Poor care, poor service, unprofessional, very pressured almost scammy feeling. Lost 3 patients.

Fantastic experience: I truly cannot begin to say how grateful I am for the staff at Silverdale Dental Center. After a traumatic accident, they have been very helpful in getting my smile back to the way it once was. They have accommodated my schedule, coordinated care with my oral surgeon, and have genuinely made me feel like an important patient. Deborah and Veronica at the front desk have fielded many of my frantic phone calls and offered encouraging advice and solutions. Ruthie, Kam and Emily have been exceptional assistants. Supportive and caring. And to know Dr. Connor is to love him! He has helped me to stay positive through a costly & timely ‘dental ordeal.’ He has fit me in and accommodated my needs. In present times, I think we all can realize how important and special that is. I’m so thankful for this team and the care that they have given me.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my son are both seen at the Silverdale Dental Center. I’ve been to a lot of dentists due to moving constantly with the Navy, and this facility is by far the best. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for an appointment, the hygienists are fantastic, and the dentists are compassionate. I really want to highlight Dr. Reya, the pediatric dentist, I’m pretty sure she was sent from heaven. My son is almost 4 and has ASD, to say that some things in life are more difficult than others is an understatement. Our appointment before the last one my son was a champ and did everything compliantly, this most recent appointment he was the opposite. He didn’t want to sit in the chair, didn’t want them to look at his teeth, not even their toy dispenser or kids show on the TV (yes they have a television mounted on the ceiling for your child to watch while their mouth is being cleaned!) was enticing enough. Dr. Reya gave me the option of rescheduling but I told her I was nervous that he would learn that he could get out of appointments if he just fought a little, she understood my concerns and worked with me. After about 20 minutes of letting him inspect the different tools, choosing flavors of toothpaste, and confirming his fears while also telling him it would be OK, he finally hopped up on the chair and let them clean his teeth. Albeit I was on the chair as well as he wanted to lay on me, he was on the chair! Dr. Reya talked to him throughout the process, always had a calm voice, and sang cute little songs. They even managed to get fluoride applied as well! No x-rays yet, but I feel confident that we’ll be able to get them at the next appointment. Life is challenging when it isn’t accommodating to those that aren’t neurotypical, but Dr. Reya is a shining light in a gloomy world that good people are out there.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed by the outstanding care provided by the doctor and nurse to my 5-year-old child with ASD and ADHD. Initially, I was concerned about her ability to cooperate due to her difficulty remaining still. Nevertheless, they demonstrated remarkable skill in engaging her and ensuring a successful visit. The X-rays were completed rapidly, and they provided detailed explanations of each procedure to her. She had a remarkably positive experience and has been requesting to return.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Silverdale Dental since 1990. With recent changes in ownership I am just a number amongst many others. I have been given no choice on the Dentist that will care for me, I have been assigned, nor have I consistently seen the same hygienist for years. The personal touch that used to be there is gone, so it is clear that is time for me to choose my Dentist elsewhere in another clinic.

Positive experience: Things are not as good as they were after Dr Phillips retirement. It just doesn't seem the same. The Assistant was very kind, and very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about the Dr either. Its just that it doesn't seem as personable as it once was. Before, I would walk in and they knew exactly who I was, and it was always the same staff. Very friendly. Now there is different people every time I go there so the interaction isn't great. Also, I went back to the chair and the assistant took care of all the preliminary x rays and prep work, but I sat in the chair for at least an hour before the doctor came in to see me. I also left with a partial treatment plan for my next visits. but really confused as to what referrals i needed to schedule. The last two times i have been there I have been instructed to go out to the waiting area after to wait to be checked out. One time sitting out there for 15 minutes before someone asked if i needed anything. I was like yes, I need to check out. It was like opps! sorry They want you there on time every time, but have no consideration for the patients time that is getting wasted.

I had lost a filling and experienced a lot of sensitivity and discomfort. Silverdale Dental center for me in right away for eval. As soon as Doctor Li saw my tooth and pain level she offered to take care of it right away. And she did! I also must say that she knows how to give the anesthesia with the most care and both her and Emily made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Did you know they offer above and beyond comfort care? I was offered a nice blanket, they have essential oils and much much more! Thank you Silverdale Dental Center for all you do!

Fantastic experience: Excellent work by Dr. Niemeyer. My 80-year-old mom had excruciating pain from her partial denture. Before coming to Silverdale Dental, my mom visited another dental clinic that suggested to get a new one, which takes about a month and costs about $2000. However, in Silverdale Dental, it took less than 20 minutes for Dr. Niemeyer to fix it. We are so impressed and my mom left there with a big smile. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist I highly recommend this place!! Woke up with unbearable jaw pain on a Saturday and they were able to get me in within less than an hour on the same day and I’m not even a patient with them. I explained the situation to the receptionist Pauline and she understood the urgency of the situation and they were able to squeeze me in. They were very professional and quick to see me, identified the cause of my pain and referred me to Kitsap OMS for surgery. They were very transparent about what needed to happen and made me feel much better about the process as I have anxiety about dental surgery. Dr. Li is very kind and informative and my assistant was amazing as well. I will likely be switching to have them as my primary dentist as my experience was so positive.

Positive experience: My experience was mediocre. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and had to wait 20 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen. From that point the X-Ray machine wasn’t working and in all it was 35 minutes past my appointment time before the cleaning began. The hygienist was good and did her best to make the best of a not great situation. The people are great but I always have the feeling they don’t understand our time is as valuable as theirs which is frustrating.

Fantastic experience: My son's love it here! I have a neurdivergent special needs kiddo who gets nervous in all dental and medical settings. He's usually nervous knowing he has a dental appointment but when he sees he's scheduled with Aliyah Dawson he immediately calms and his nervousness goes away. Aliyah is kind, gentle, friendly, and warm and we really love having her as the dental assistant. Dr. Rhea is great she too is kind, knowledgeable, and takes her time to treat the patient's needs. Positive experience: I use this dentist and bring my kids here too. Always friendly, clean and thorough. The kids are always treated with kindness, and they make sure they communicate well with parents. The toy presented at the end of the checkup is a nice touch for the kids too. Only drawback on the adult side is they are booked out pretty far (although most places are).

Fantastic experience: They are wonderful with children, very considerate and understanding whether neurotypical or divergent. If your child is over 5 or 6 they don't accept molina/state insur for the kiddos, but under that age they do. <3

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! We used to go to Clear Creek for adults and Kitsap Kids for our kids, but Silverdale Dental is better for BOTH! Dr. Rhea is terrific with our children and Dr. Niemeyer and Dr. Cooper are great with adults- although there are several other dentists there too and I'm sure there great as well. One thing to keep in mind is that Silverdale Dental has dentists available on Saturday which is GREAT in case you have an emergency. The hygienists and assistants are highly professional. And, I can't forget to mention the front desk staff- who take care of appointments and everything else- they are also amazing!! We had an emergency when we were at Clear Creek and they said we'd have to wait several days. At Silverdale Dental Center, our kid chipped his front tooth at school and they had it looking PERFECT 2 hours after it happened. I can't say enough good things about Silverdale Dental Center.

I decided to get a second opinion, and am forever grateful to Dr. Conner for reassuring my I just needed to floss a little more. The staff is amazing, accommodating, and friendly. Negative experience: Been with Silverdale Dental Center since the mid 80’s with Dr Schinn and Dr Phillips bless them. The Dentists are excellent but the admin staff have no Customer Service Skills and they have no People Skills and depress me. Can’t do that atmosphere. What a shame. Moving on to different place after all these years. Happy Retirement Dr Phillips. Great move on your part.

Fantastic experience: I’m basically a human chihuahua at the dentist, but I have finally found a place where I am completely at ease coming in. I had my first cleaning in almost a decade done by Anita and she did everything possible to make sure I felt safe and comfortable in her care. I cant recommend Silverdale Dental Center and their staff enough!

She made you feel comfortable and relaxed and was gentle in her procedures. She explained before hand what she was about to do and was encouraging about my dental health. Her assistant, Chandra, was also very good. You could tell that they are a good team together. I give them both a “10”! The best Dental experience I ever had!

They squeezed me into their schedule for 1) a same-day, emergency appointment, 2) having not previously been their patient, 3) on Friday (many offices are closed). Being this accommodating is unicorn-rare. Furthermore, Dr Niemeyer, Lily and the administrative staff could not have been more gracious, gentle and professional. Questions were answered, and options thoroughly explained and discussed. The office is modern, tranquil and clean. A stellar clinic and experience.

Fantastic experience: Silverdale Dental Center is fantastic! Despite my many dental issues Dr Ha has always gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and has shown me the utmost respect. This Dental Center has been a new and positive experience for me. Their dental assistants are excellent and the office staff is friendly and knowledgeable regarding insurance policies. Fantastic experience: I've been going to SDC for about 15 years now and would never change. They are courteous, honest and most of all, put patients first. They really care about their patients. I rarely like Dentists and you all know why LOL. But the Dr.s there will change your mind, like they did mine.

Negative experience: So i scheduled our appt over a month out, filled out all of the paperwork, and still when we arrive someone didn't do their job and inform me they needed certain type of xray from our previous dentist in order to be seen. Every dental office is different. I'm not aware of every dental office policy. So I can't expect to know what all is needed. However as a new patient coming in, asking several times what all is needed on my initial phone call, filling out tons of paperwork to include record release forms, I would think I was okay. Nope. Nobody called me prior to my appointment to inform me of the missing X-rays. I discovered this information the day before my appointment when they emailed my financial statement for tomorrows appointment. So I email back saying what's the charge...no reply I go in for the appointment and the front desk lady was rude and was like we see dozen of military patients and they just bring everything and it's up to the doctor if she can see my daughter without the one xray. Meanwhile, they were going to do other X-rays that were covered by insurance. The administration staff is extremely frustrating. And this didn't happen once. It happened for 2 of my kids. So 2 cleaning appointments cost me and my 4 kids sitting in this office 3.5hrs! Ridiculous. We didn't feel appreciated or even wanted in that office by administration. The dentist my kids seen is the only saving grace. The dentist was kind, very knowledgeable, and understanding. The staff needs training! Training on customer service and how to do their job for new patients. Communication is key!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr. Ha! He is hands down the best dentist I have ever had on the West Coast. He has provided routine treatments, done fillings, and even provided emergency medical care for me on short notice. The office staff is always so kind, patient, and helpful. Everyone in the office makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely a judgement free office which was important to me. I have always had bad anxiety when going to the dentist but it’s almost nonexistent when I see Dr. Ha!

Fantastic experience: Silverdale Dental Center would get ten stars if I could give that many. Dr. Conner fit me in on a last minute emergency and I was a first time patient. He and Ruthie (dental assistant) fixed me up beautifully and I came back this morning for a new crown on that tooth. Fantastic experience: Silverdale Dental was recommended (indirectly) by some of the kiddos I work with. (The clinic does braces, by the way.) It was close to where I work and the hours are super convenient. They are even open on Saturdays. I had my initial exam today, which went great. Dr. Lee, the hygienic specialist, and the desk staff were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The office is clean and well-lit. Thanks so much for a terrific first visit.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff! Everyone is so friendly. I usually dread the dentist but my visits to Silverdale Dental are always really pleasant. I usually see their hygienist Heidi and I have to say she is amazing. I never feel poked and prodded during my cleaning and she is just the nicest person!

Fantastic experience: The Dentist (Dr. Oconner) and Dental Assistant (Miss Ruth) did a wonderful job in helping me get calm and relax during the entire process of my appointment. It’s my first time at this place and glad that I chose this dental clinic. The only downside is they are not listed in my in-network dental plan. Highly recommend this place.
