Dental hygienist Janell was excellent in working on my teeth as well as patiently explaining the status of my teeth/gum and formulating the treatment plan. I was also grateful to Insurance Coordinator Cathy, for explaining the details of the schedule and financial aspects of my treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Texas, I reached out to my old neighbor who was a dentist in another state; he recommended Dr. Sivie. I have been a patient for over a decade now and I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dr. Sivie to anyone looking for a dentist. No only is she highly competent; Dr. Sivie is compassionate and kind. She cares about the well-being of her patients while keeping the interest of her staff in mind. I had one interaction with Dr. Williams before he retired when Dr. Sivie was not available, he was just as professional and friendly, and like her, a class act. Recently I was in for a cleaning and the patient before me, her appointment ran long, I was on a time crunch and the front desk stepped in and helped with the pre cleaning questionnaires without me prompting so my hygienist could start my cleaning right away when I was brought in. She did a thorough cleaning and was able to get me out in time. You can really tell this is an office that value teamwork, true teamwork, which is so important in any healthcare sector. One of my kids chipped a tooth once when his pediatric dentist was out of town, Dr. Sivie stepped in and completed the repair without any issues. Another child needed a last minute second opinion for a semi-invasive procedure, and we were on a time crunch to make a decision and I looked to Dr. Sivie for her expertise. Even though she was traveling at the time (and it was in the evening), Dr. Sivie responded without hesitancy and helped us find the treatment/provider that was best suited for our child. Lonestar Dental is a well-run practice staffed with courteous, efficient, and capable professionals.

Fantastic experience: New to Lonestar Dental Group. First appointment x-rays, measurements, etc. Set the stage for today's meeting. Dr Sivie developed a detailed dental health plan which made sense. She and a staff member spent over an hour explaining everything, answering questions, etc. No charge for this consult. Staff is friendly, happy and can't do enough for you. The patient experience is a high priority at this practice. Bottom line ... happy new patient. Only regret not having moved sooner!

Fantastic experience: All the staff are extremely nice, they were reassuring with every question I had. Playful, joking, and very kind all around. Sometimes when I visit a new physician they will give me a hard time for how I speak or the types of vocabulary I tend to use (I cuss like a sailor), but no one gave me a hard time and allowed me to be myself in its truest sense which adds to the welcoming feeling an let's people relax, especially when a situation can not be a very good one to be in. I now understand why they have such high ratings, my expectations were beyond met.

Fantastic experience: My initial experience prior to first visit with this team was with the highly efficient and kind Janie. She effortlessly managed all the details so that when I arrived, I didn’t have to do a thing. After a warm greeting at reception, I was offered refreshments and cookies. I waited anxiously for my way overdue checkup and cleaning, dreading what was to come next. Dental PTSD is real people! They called me back on time, a rare event these days, one that is much appreciated, as time is so limited! I was introduced to Janel, the dental hygienist, and the birthday girl! Breaking the cardinal rule of working on your birthday, she cheerfully set me at easy and masterly guided me through the all the x-rays, photos, charting, and prep for the cleaning. Once in the chair, the room was decorated with balloons, photos and party favors to celebrate Janel. I love birthdays, so it made it fun! Janel ensured my comfort and put me at ease with her communication, gentle technique and calming chair side manner. Cleaning done and now on to the evaluation by Dr. Sivie. Historically, these ended with bad news and future major expenses. However, this time was different. She broke everything down to one simple issue that we could make a plan to tackle with small incremental steps. She made me feel confident in the health of my teeth and that I had finally found the right dental team at LoneStar Dental. In remain in continued gratitude and appreciate for you all. Fantastic experience: Dr. Sivey was very thorough in addressing my concern. She checked my prior exam history, took X-rays of the tooth I thought might need to have a new porcelain cap, yet all it needed was a fresh polish with her dental tool. I had gone to another dentist for about 2 years because of relocating my home in another town hour and half away. Evidently my new dentist had neglected to polish my porcelain caps good enough which lead me to believe it was damaged and needed to be replaced. Bottom line is Dr. Sivey is thorough, and extremely knowledgeable, testing a simple procedure of polishing the tooth that the other dentist should have been doing on my porcelain caps which saved me several thousands of dollars if I had replaced the cap. I highly recommend her for any of your dental needs and I will probably be returning to Lone Star Dental even though it takes me hour and half to get there.

Fantastic experience: Another great visit at LoneStar Dental. Staff is great, Samantha is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She is super gentle and caring. They have a new X-ray machine that I really liked. Much faster than the old kind and not as uncomfortable. I have a huge palate that causes X-rays to be a little painful for me. So much better with the new machine. Dr Montgomery is also amazing!! I trust him with all my dental care. I highly recommend LoneStar Dental.

Fantastic experience: Kandace was awesome as always!! She was very thorough in my care and love her personal touch, remembering all things related to the family. This is the best dentist office in Plano and the surrounding areas. My only complaint is when they are playing country music - but even then they are still the best
