Fantastic experience: Ginger and Dr Ted were amazing good with me. They were nice and answered all my concerns, I’ll come back for sure.

Positive experience: office staff was very organized; doctor was friendly and approachable even after the first visit; stopped by to say hello and asked how it was going. Hygienist explained everything all along the cleaning process. She also spoke clearly and slow enough to understand. In hind sight i do remember the dentist stating the reason for my front chipped teeth was because I used my mouth to open bottles, was a strange comment and suspect comment.

Fantastic experience: i used to hate going to the dentist but since i started coming here, i love it! Dr. Ted is amazing! he is always so kind and gentle and has never hurt me and he has such a great staff! i had ginger today and she made me laugh the whole time(even while dr ted was trying to see in my mouth). i can’t say enough good things about them and i will never go anywhere else!

Negative experience: When I enter the office, I was not greeted by any of the office staff. There were SEVERAL ladies behind the desk having different conversations amongst themselves. Then finally lady front desk said you have a seat my appointment was 9:30 AM I was 10 minutes early at 9:45 lady front desk ask me if I am waiting on someone I said no I am still waiting to see someone inside, everyone came after me was checked in anc went inside before me. Finally I went inside what I hear this problem being going on for long time , what I heard one the doctor was off for ba surgery and one the staff was telling doctor since you being out was very bad in here . Then after I finished they have problem in front desk to check me out can not figure out who and where I need to go keep telling me come this side then no come to other side. At end I got charged for all terrible I went through. Shall I go back for my next visit……I guess NOT

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Luma was incredible. I knew I had several issues that had to be fixed abs was quite nervous, but Ginger and Dr. Ted made it a piece of cake. Fantastic experience: I needed a dentist to put a crown back on that had come off earlier in the morning. My usual dentist was booked up so I looked for a dentist near me on Google. I found Luma and gave them a call. They got me set up for a an appointment a couple of hours later. I was very happy with the assistant (Ginger - she was so nice) as well as Dr. Poczatek. I was so pleased with the service I received there that I am considering changing from my existing dentist to Dr. Poczatek. I’m very happy with everything that they did for me and I appreciate them getting me in so quickly. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The dentist and the staff are very friendly, but you have to be careful of any upfront charges. When you have insurance that covers everything the two times I’ve been there. They’ve tried to collect from me upfront only to find out that the insurance covers everything so just beware, but they’re very good

Fantastic experience: My experience has been exceptional at Luma from check-in, to my seating in the chair for my exams, and check out. Ginger was incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and resourceful addressing all of my concerns and questions. Positive experience: It's seems that a lot of the lighting needs to have their bulbs replaced ( many blown out) lobby and some dental rooms. Some visits seem like they are short employees? Overall I am happy with Luma Dentistry.

Positive experience: The dentist Dr Marta was great! The atmosphere of the rest of the office was just so so. Not as friendly as the McCalla office. This was our first experience at this office so they may have just been having a bad day.

Over the years, I’ve trusted them with everything from routine cleanings to extractions, root canals, and crowns and every experience has been handled with the highest level of care, professionalism, and kindness. Even after moving to Georgia in 2018, I still drive 2.5 hours back to Hoover for all my dental needs. That alone should tell you how exceptional Luma Dentistry is. Positive experience: Dr Ted- everyone call him- is an amazing Dr.. easy to understand to the point.. clear, explains, fast, extremely gentle when he providing treatment. however, when I scheduled my bridge process appointment billing divided my about 3500 payment into 3 trips coz process was gonna take 3 appointment. I scheduled all appointments at once and pay my payments promptly but then after 2 visit billing started emailing about the due and calling it pass due however it wasn't.... I just received the invoice today in mail which I paid all ready.. technically my account is paid in full... it's pretty disrespect to send patient a invoice which is already paid in full.. mailing dept and A/R isn't sync too well. other then that 5 star for this practice.

Fantastic experience: You Always get greeted with a smile from the front and then when they come out and get you they always walk with you and talk to you about whats fisten to happen and wow they are just absolutely amazing they always treat you like family it's amazing

Fantastic experience: This is my 3rd time going to Luma Dentistry southlake, I absolutely love it! The staff is the sweetest, and they’re pretty quick with appointments! My last appointment getting a filing last Thursday was pretty busy, but it was made up for with the conversation that I had with the dental assistant Ginger! She’s the best, I absolutely love her! All the staff is really welcoming and nice! But ginger is my favorite! Dr. Ted is the dentist who’s been seeing me from the beginning, and he’s always super nice, and makes sure that im in no discomfort, and that im calm before working on my teeth. I don’t do great with the dentist so they make it super easy for me. Dr. Ashley does my teeth cleanings and she’s very sweet and nice as well, and makes sure I’m comfortable and I’m no pain when cleaning since it was a while since I had my last cleaning. They’re all amazing and would recommend anyone going here! And are super awesome for those who do not have insurance! My husband and I both love going here.

My most recent experience involved an urgent need that happened to occur the day before Thanksgiving and I did not have an appointment. Positive experience: This was my first appointment. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor was really nice. I had Ginger and she was the best. She was caring and through her great personality I was able to feel less anxious about the appointment. Only giving a 4 star because they were down a hygienist so I had to reschedule my cleaning but they got me rescheduled quickly. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Not too many dentist offices opened on Friday but I sure did appreciate Luma Dentistry in Hoover being opened. I has a crown come off Thursday night and they were able to work me in and handle it in under an hour. AMAZING service!

Fantastic experience: Have been trying dentists for too many years after mine retired. Hygienist Alondra was personable, professional, and gentle. Dr. Ted proved another dentist's call for a root canal was unnecessary with a few xrays and then a filling. He also was personable and professional. The entire team is customer service focused and I would highly recommemd the Southlake Luma office. Found the right team for hopefully many years to come.

Dr. Marta and her staff were very gentle when performing procedures. They were concerned during the procedures that I was doing ok. I have an issue of my head being low while water is squirted in my mouth. Dr. Marta and I worked out a method so she would know if I needed a break. Would highly recommend Dr. Marta and her staff.

Fantastic experience: Exprience was great: this was my first time there after my first Dentist retired (I had been with him since 1995). The staff was Pleasant and welcoming. My hygienist was great as usual. There was no break in standard or care. BUT I missed the art.

Negative experience: I have never been to Luma dentistry as they are not in network with my UHC medicare dental insurance. However I received a fraudulent bill to my medicare for services at their facilities that was never rendered. Plus a $592 bill which is not cheap for a retiree on a fixed income. I called Luma about the fraudulent claim was told they share the same billing company as another dental office and I had to call them to get this fix. This is a Medicare fraud so I do not see why the burden falls on me to have to make 4 phone calls to the dentist office and 3 phone calls to medicare to get this fixed. It's been almost a month and it is still not fixed.

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with my experiences at Luma. My husband and I have been seeing them now for about five years. Just had a crown removed and tooth extracted. It was not bad at all. Dr. Ted was very gentle, explaining along the way what was happening. The whole procedure took only about an hour. They gave me very specific instructions to follow. I highly recommend the entire staff.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Birmingham four months ago and had not yet established a relationship with a dentist. I broke a tooth while eating and needed to find a dentist quickly. There was a dental office a mile from my house, Luma, so called them. I was able to get an appointment quickly with Dr. Reeves and her assistant, Ha. Dr. Reeves was very personable and made me feel totally at ease. After examining x-rays and my physical tooth, she recommended a crown. I decided to take her recommendation and she began making a temporary crown. I was given a shot to numb the area she would be working on. I didn’t feel the shot or anything else during the process. I don’t really like my teeth being worked on, stresses me. But, Dr. Reeves made me very comfortable and said she would stop anytime I needed a minute. My next visit will be to have the permanent crown seated. My first experience was so good that I am not stressed about returning. The office was clean and esthetically pleasing. I would recommend Luma to others based on my experience so far.

Negative experience: He walked in and right away you knew this is the type of office that was gonna do nothing but upsell you. I just need a tooth pulled. What happened today when you could walk in and say I’d like to have a twofold that’s bothering me and the dentist will see you right away. This one was us do the x-rays and everything and he might have the ability to do it today.. But after you go through all the x-rays, you kind of like to have it taken care of the same day. Not visit this office ever again
