My hygienist Abby is incredibly gentle, kind and very thorough! Dr Kit is friendly, fun and really makes sure that his patients feel comfortable with the care his office delivers. Due to personal reasons, I had moved quite a bit. The dentist was gentle and understood my fears. I will be finally finish my treatments in the next few weeks. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: This place will bill your insurance and then bill you out of pocket. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Dental Care of South Elgin was truly a very good experience. I had a gum infection and was in a lot of pain when I phoned this office seeking for an appointment. To my amazement, Nicole who answered my call, told me they were booked up for the day, but would check the doctor to see if he could squeeze me in. After a couple of minutes, Nicole told me that Dr. Patel could squeeze me in at 1:00 p. m. The entire staff that I had contact with, we're exceptional. I strongly encourage others that need a great dentist who doesn't come across as a "I'm better than you" attitude, to go to Dr. Patel for your own dental needs. ~~~ Ed Tazelaar

All his lovely assistants were sweethearts that offered me a blanket and Vaseline for my lips! Thank you for making a scary experience less scary!

Fantastic experience: I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and it took less than 45 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I was in my car leaving. Once I was numb it took 5-10 minutes to remove all 3 wisdom teeth. Dr. Kit did his thang!

I usually find any dental cleaning unpleasant because I don't like the sounds and they're just a sensory nightmare for me, and she made it way less uncomfortable. Fantastic experience: The front end staff was very friendly. When taken back to the room the assistant was very friendly and very competent. CT scan, xrays and color photos were taken of my mouth. Dr. Kit was very kind and concerned about my dental issues and the cost quoted to me for the repair was very reasonable. I will be having the procedures on February 1st. Great office. Negative experience: If only they did not force me pay for the fluoride they applied on my teeth after every cleaning. I told them twice, I don't want it, but they applied it and charged for it anyways. I went to another Dental Care.
