Fantastic experience: I literally just walked out after a root canal with Dr. Quick and a crown placed by Dr. Lehrer total time was minutes! No pain, no waiting, and such a smooth experience. I can’t recommend this dental office enough.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience of my life today at the office. At first, as usual, I was terrified because most of the time I leave the dental office traumatized. From start to finish to my amazement, I felt no pain and there was no pouring out of blood because of rough treatment. Kiersten was gentle and did not rush as if in a hurry. I actually felt important to her and I was grateful for my dental cleaning experience. Thank you for sending me home with a smile on my face.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost I just want to say thanks to Miss Helen the office manager who squeezed me in during their busiest schedule, because I was in so much pain and she could feel it over the phone! She took timeout to call and check my insurance even though I have told her my insurance won't cover it, but she did try. I ended up paying out of my pocket and it was worth every single penny, everything went great when I got there for the first visit. Then I came back to see Dr. Sanford for the follow up! I thought it was just going to take at least 10 minutes to look at my socket to see everything is good. But she went extra miles for me , she just did not look at my socket the one that she extracted...She went above and beyond to check every single tooth to make sure everything was fine before I leave. When I let her know what bothered me she showed her concern and care to find a solution to make me feel better! Thanks again Dr. Sanford and all her staff are working diligently for all their patients ! Dr. Sanford also is very sweet, kind and gentle! She got magic hands, you won’t feel much pains at all . I called a painless doctor:) !

Fantastic experience: Went for a cleaning and everyone was extremely helpful and polite. Helen and Bella at the front desk helped me with my new patient forms and answered any and all questions thoroughly. My dentist, Dr. Sanford, was very personable, quick, and thorough throughout the cleaning as well as the assistant Amanda and were easy to talk with. Will be going back.

Positive experience: The dental hygienist was great... The office staff was great...But I'm not happy that after my cleaning,.I had a dentist come in that wasn't my dentist and advice me on my teeth..She knows nothing about my mouth and my previous.visits..I go there for a certain dentist..I'm not taken advise of a dentist I don't know ..Is this is going to be a on going think with this place I will be looking for a private dental office.. Seems like these corporate businesses are all about the money...Be careful at this place..

Fantastic experience: Endodontist Dr Chiara Q. Is always very good at what she does in doing root canal's in people who are nervous. I chose her because of this problem that I have when seeing a dentist due to too many root canal's being done on my teeth before. But she is a great Endodontist. I recommend her to anyone for she's fast & very knowlegeable in her work.

Fantastic experience: One of my molar had cracked, I didn’t know it I swallowed a piece of my tooth late Tuesday night. I had called DAG for an emergency appointment they were able to see me at 9:00 Wednesday morning and Dr. Donahue was able to fill my tooth. I’m so grateful that he was able to do that instead of having major work done on my tooth. Thank you so much Lisa and Dr. Donahue.

Fantastic experience: My apologies, my ability to remember names is lacking. I believe my dental hygienist name was Dana. She was amazing. talented, personable, Knowledgeable. The dentist was equally so. Dr. Donahue is as ever, awesome. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone. I hope that is helpful.

Positive experience: 10/10 My hygienist. 10/10 My dentist. 0/10 for whoever made the preposterous, egregious, and outrageous decision to stop giving out toothbrushes.

Fantastic experience: My husband & I have been going to Dr. Donahue for a long time. He is the “best”. The staff exhibits great customer service. Always pleasant. A great office. Had my teeth cleaned Monday, November 17, 2025. The hygienist did an excellent job, very thorough. Much appreciated. Kiddos also to Lisa, always pleasant and explains everything.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Donahue and Lisa took care of my mom with the best care when she had to get two teeth filled. My mom is in a wheelchair which is a little harder to get her in and out of the office. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It meant so much to me and my family.

Positive experience: The staff is pleasant and professional and the location is perfect. On the rare occasions when I can't park in the same block, there is plenty of parking across the street where Chickie and Pete's is (where I often dine after my appointment). Dr. Donahue is fantastic. He has been my dentist since 1985 and I have remained cavity free (and I'm almost 70).

Negative experience: The front desk person was nice, the office was clean. The most disappointed and confused I did not get my teeth clean for preventive service.

Negative experience: I was there for a measurement for my implant! The tool the dental assistant had to use is neither patient friendly, user friendly and in my opinion very sanitary. The clerk was great but that tool was too big for my mouth and to get the exact measurements was very cumbersome! The dentist, clerk and staff were great! The assistant was very patient! My appointment was longer than it needed to be with that tool!

Fantastic experience: I could have cried leaving here today. What an amazing staff DAG has here.. From the time I walked in the door, until I walked out, I felt so welcome and heard. Never felt judged {my teeth are a hot mess} ... and yes, I'm one of those people who strayed from dentists for years, mostly because of shame. We never went to the dentist as children, so by the time I was in my 20s, I had several bad teeth. The couple of visits I did make, were met with nasty dentists who had poor bedside manner and little to no compassion. South Philly DAG literally makes me want to go back! I'm looking forward to working with the amazing dentists here, to get my smile back. Dr. Sanford is amazing; felt like talking to a friend as soon as I met her. And Dr. Lehrer, who assisted because of my treatment, was equally wonderful! She walked me all through an extraction, made it quick and painless, and even made my follow up appt before I ever left the room. I didn't feel judged in choosing extraction over root canal. Thank you, South Philly Dental Arts; truly a top notch practice.

Positive experience: Greetings I have hope for this visit as I did in 2024, this time it’s not having coverage from my Medical Insurance and no help from Medicare or Medicaid. I’m trying other options@age past 70 without any other coverage except go back to work to get Part B coverage on another job somewhere else. I appreciate the work that was done@the Dental Arts Group, and I’m grateful and hopeful that maybe I can get help from PACE PROGRAM, or PA LINK to Aging and Disability Resource Center and Federal and State Benefit Program. Overall I will stay with Dental Arts Group with hope.

Fantastic experience: Lisa was amazing during the entire experience. My filling had popped out and they were able to see me and have it fixed on the same day! She walked me through each step as Dr. Donahue was fixing the issue.

I was cared for by Dr. Lehrer on my visit today and she was very nice. She discussed Invisalign and showed me before and after pictures if I decide to invest in straightening my teeth. I decided today to invest in my smile and start my journey today with Invisalign. Dr. Lehler explained the steps and my hygienist Dana is very sweet and listens to my questions and concerns as well. They both will be with me every step of the way! The office staff are welcoming and helpful checking in and out of the office. October 6th today and on to the next phase of 17 trays bringing me into December bringing me a year of my journey

Today I went for my 6 months check up and my dental hygienist ( Kimberly Pantoja) was Amazing, so gentle, polite, answered all my questions I love her.

Fantastic experience: The staff of DAG in south Philly are the best. I had 3 root canals, and Dr Quick with her assistant Taylor made me feel comfortable with putting myself in there expert hands. I requested all 3 R/C was performed in one setting. Excellent, professional service. The same day Dr Donahue (he is my dentist did I mention how amazing he is ) took impressions and made all 3 crown temps with the help of his assistant Mary (who is an angel). I returned for my permanent crowns and had impressions made for my new partial. I have been a patient for 30 year and was concerned when DAG purchased the business. My review is to let you know they still have that south Philly feel. A big shout out to Lisa, Helen, both Marie's and the young man with the mustache on the front desk he is a customer service delight and he is a keeper. My usual wonderful dentist- Dr. Lehrer was on vacation ..but I was treated by her new dentist--Dr Kara Sanford ! What a terrific dentist she is--Pleasant- nice & soo gentle with my gums & teeth--I did not feel the needle at ALL--! She's a really exceptional dentist & hope Dr. Lehrer realizes what a "winner" she is ! I give both of these dentists 5 stars (As well as the Dental Asst )-- **Also--I me new people at the front desk- that are most helpful- friendly &...efficient ! The new office manager--Helen is wonderful---She's organized & most helpful--& Kevin--at the front desk (another 5 star guy)--- is....terrific ! He is so personable -- (I have seen-the improvements--at the front desk & so have others )-- Soo--If you are looking for a new dentist--give Dental Arts Group (on Packer Ave) a CALL--!! Fantastic experience: I loved the service and the results. I don't remember how I found them but I'm glad I did.

Negative experience: I visited Dr. Kara Sanford for a routine dental cleaning because my regular dentist did not have availability. During the visit, Dr. Sanford claimed I had three cavities based on x-rays and offered to treat them during my visit. I was surprised to hear this since I received regular dental care, but I agreed to the treatment. After this, I had sensitivity and there were sharp edges on my teeth. She offered a follow up visit and it did not resolve the issues. I went back to my regular dentist, who reviewed the x-rays she performed, and I was told I didn’t have any cavities in the first place. My regular dentist had to fix the work she did. I would not recommend this dentist and I question the validity of her recommendations.
