Fantastic experience: Everything went so smooth and such nice staff!

Fantastic experience: I came here for an exam, cleaning, filing, and filling. Tia, Donna, Jasmine, Belal RDH and Dr. Esteves were phenomonal. They were able to get me in quick. They were friendly, held good conversation to keep my mind busy, and were professional. I felt like they actually cared and that every one knew what they were doing. I recommended coming here for at least the procedures I had. I may keep my insurance just to come back. Wanted to update this: Just came in to have a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. benson. Man is a magician. It took him less than 1 minute to perform the procedure and he did it flawlessly. Very personable and knowledgeable. I already liked this place before, now I like it even more.

Fantastic experience: I just left my appointment and I have been coming here for about a year now. My dental assistant wa belille. I may have spelled it wrong but he’s proof that cleanings shouldn’t hurt! Thank you guys so much for being so honest and caring.

Negative experience: Dr Collins is an excellent Dentist and extremely knowledgeable and skilled. However his office changed your cost for service and do not honor any previous quotes. I highly recommend Dr Collins but be very aware of the prices they quote you. I find the office manager condescending! Also be aware that when you challenge the prices quoted to you they sever all services and dental care with you! Therefore I give them one star not because of their dental service but their business practice. Especially to fellow veterans,.....

Fantastic experience: Always so professional, polite and gentle! I have a phobia about the dentist...I will NEVER go to anyone else! They make sure you know that they care and don't judge you if you have dental issues.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE - Jan 2026. New dentist here that does most surgery himself!!! I haven’t had a dentist that did everything himself (except orthodontics) since the mid 1980’s!! AND he’s got great personality!! Thank you Dr Benson, for coming to my area!! Old review- I’ve gone to this dental office for awhile now. At one point I was ready to change dentists. About that time the dentist I was seeing left and I started seeing Dr Taherian and what a difference!! She has been wonderful, very caring with genuine concern for her patients. Her hygienist is wonderful too. All of the office staff are professional, helpful and very capable. I recently got a new denture from them and they were very patient during the time of making it to make several adjustments to be sure I was happy with how it looks. The adjustments after getting the denture have been very good too. If you’ve ever gotten a denture then you know about adjustments. It can take numerous trips to their office to get it all taken care of. An adjustment in one area can create another area they need attention. They have been great amount getting me in very quickly. I’m sooo glad I didn’t leave this practice!!

Fantastic experience: I really appreciated how comfortable they made me feel. I don’t like going to the Dentist, but they provided me with such a good experience. I also really appreciated getting a birthday text and email. Everyone there is nice and the service was great. They referred me to a surgery place and I had my wisdom teeth removed and post surgery I didn't even need pain meds. My mom referred me and my aunt to them and I am glad I came here rather than the other place I used to go to.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist office. Had a cleaning today and they were running behind but they actually called me and let me know I could arrive a little bit later. So I arrived later and they took me right back. I couldn't believe that happened. My teeth feel great too.

Fantastic experience: New Smile Dentistry, Dr. Esteves, Tia and Donna are phenomenal. I needed an emergency visit and they worked me into their schedule the same day. After my visit with Dr Esteves, Tia went out of her way to help me schedule endodontic treatment by calling different practices for availability and prices. I highly recommend this practice. They are by far the best!

My hygienist is normally Belal, he's amazing gentle and thorough. And Mily, Mily is such a sweetheart, soft spoken and very sweet.. they are all professionals and love what they do and they show it in their work and the way they speak to each other and us patients.

Fantastic experience: Final crown installation today (10/14/25) at NSD Winter Springs. Excellent job by Dr. Esteves and assistant Joann. It took a while to extract the temporary and install the new crown, but extra care was taken to make things perfect. I really appreciate the attention to detail and high quality service provided. Great service today (9/24/25) by Mily and Dr. Esteves, on short notice. Very confident in their professional care and practice. Permanent crown installed, very smooth appointment. Completed in a little more than 30 minutes. Excellent service today (8/21/25), by dental technician Mily and Dr. Esteves - they are the best!! Good visit at New Smile today, 7/17/25. Thorough, excellent cleaning by hygienist (Belal), and very good intro assessment by new dentist, Ms Esteves. She identified the need for a 20 year old crown replacement - based on a small underlying cavity. Great work! Another thorough cleaning by Belal, 1/22/25. I highly recommend this dental office. Very good cleaning by Bilel (hygienist) today, 9/16/24. Takes the time to be thorough and very detailed in cleaning trouble spots. Excellent service. Great service today by Dr. Taherian - permanent filling after route canal. Joann is also a very professional assistant.

Fantastic experience: When I got in, Donna greeted me, and then the male hygienist his name is Balal, greeted me as well and followed him in the room. He introduced his name and confirmed my name. He is beginning to explain what he was going to do to my teeth, he put that x- ray protection to protect me from radiation, which i like that. then after x-ray my teeth he beginning to clean my teeth. Balal, is so polite and friendly plus gentle. Also I met the Female doctor, her name is Dr. Tahirian. From the front desk to the back, Overall I will give them 5 stars... F/U, today Thursday, I had another appointment for deep cleaning which Balal, he apply cream for numbing my gum, then followed by Dr Tahirian for injection. Omg! The needles was so big. Balal check my BP it was kind of high. But now after resting my BP is 118/78 back to normal. That was so kind of them to check my BP first. Thank you so much. Additional 5 stars for today service. 3/6/25 Thanks Balal for the excellent service to clean my teeth today. F/U APPOINTMENT TODAY 9/11/25 Thursday as usual Balal is great, his gentle cleaning my teeth. Tia also had a great customer service. I will give them 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Consistent service. The staff are friendly and engaged with patients. They have solid systems to remind you about appointments. The techs are easy going and skilled. The dentist is thorough and checks the work of techs. I always feel relaxed before and after visits, and my dental health has never been better. 5 stars. Would recommend. A separate visit. They fixed a chipped tooth that's been nagging me for years. Just a small fix to buff out a snag that sometimes bothers my tongue. Glad to be rid of it.

Fantastic experience: 1st time getting a root canal took about 2 hrs , but seemed like a hr . I had a GREAT TIME. the connection between the asst Barbara ( who just started working there about 3 hrs from when my appt was ) but has years of experience somewhere else AND Dr Esteves wooooo sooooo funny , my mouth was held open by some soft device for the work that was done . If it wasnt ,, the dr wouldn’t of been able to work properly because of my constant laughing . Even tho they just started working together only hours before, they just connected So well like they’ve been working for years together. Fantastic experience: Been going to New Smile Dentist for about 10 years now. The staff is always friendly and professional. They're also understanding. I had an issue when 1 of the dental insurance companies I had decided to decline 1 of my claims and I lost their information. The people at the office worked out a payment plan that was within my budget. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a local family Dentist.

Negative experience: SUCH A NIGHTMARE!!!!! As others have mentioned---the billing/office department is horrible! Absolutely unacceptable and dishonest business practices. When we scheduled appointments for our entire family of SIX, we were told they "accept our insurance." Not once did they mention they only accept it as an out-of-network provider. We trusted them and brought all six of us in for cleanings and comprehensive exams—only to be blindsided with a massive bill afterward. When I called to question it, they casually admitted, “Oh yes, we take your insurance...as an out-of-network provider.” That is NOT the same as being in-network, and they know it. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic to get patients in the door. Shame on this office for misleading families like ours. We have since moved to a different office and ironically, we got a "no show' charge for an appointment that my son has no record of, and didn't receive any texts or voicemails they said was sent---this is something others have complained about as well! BE CAREFUL!!!!!!! We will never return, and I will make sure others know to steer clear.

When I was younger, my family couldn’t afford visits so I went when I had to have my wisdom teeth removed at 21 and very occasionally since until this year when I got good dental insurance. Negative experience: Absolutely disappointed with the billing practices at New Smile Dentistry. The billing department is a complete scam. I was charged for services—specifically dental X-rays—after they were done, without anyone informing me in advance that they wouldn’t be covered or that a deductible applied. No one took the time to verify benefits or get my authorization beforehand. It feels deceptive and dishonest. Transparency is the bare minimum I expect from any healthcare provider. Instead, I got hit with surprise charges and zero accountability. If you value clear communication and ethical billing, look elsewhere.

Negative experience: My son and I stopped going to New Smile Dentistry almost 2 years ago. During my last visit when they were performing my dental cleaning the equipment broke down. As a result half way down my cleaning they had to continue manually which turned out to be an unpleasant experience cutting my gums. During my son's last visit their X-ray machine would not hold it's position requiring a second assistant trying to hold the camera steady so that the other technician could make the X-ray. Obviously for those reasons we decided to look for another dentist which we found and are currently very happy with. Now, out of the blue we are receiving statements that my 14 year old son owes a balance due stating that all insurance claims have been processed. However, this again is incorrect due to the fact that we do not have any insurance and we have always paid the full amount owed by Credit Card at the end of each visit. I have contacted them twice without result. In addition, I keep on receiving emails/texts that we have additional appointments coming up, again out of the blue without any confirmation on our side. I rated New Smile Dentistry with 1 star only because 0 stars was not an option available.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at New Smile Dentistry! I had two cavities filled, and the entire process was smooth and painless. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Esteves was amazing! She made sure that my crown was finished just in time for my honeymoon. Very sweet and thoughtful, she was so patient and gentle with me and my TMJ issues. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I have to share my experience at New Smile Dentistry in Winter Springs. To start, Ana Otra at the front desk is truly an amazing woman. She does not wait to email me any information that I requested. Within 5 minutes she had emailed me all of my options. Thank you Ana Otra When DR. Khattari started working there I remember how he's been such a professional dentist. He is must I say, the most gentle dentist I ever had, he listens explains and cares for his patients. Due to prior bad experiences with other establishments, he had made me believe in going to the dentist again. Overall the staff is truly amazing from the front to the back. I've met Sarah and told her how wonderful her and the staff are, amazing!!!! Thank you New Smile Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for a few years now. Great staff all around. They are understanding and respectful of your time and teeth. Wish I could remember the team members names to give them a shout out! Recently had to have a few cavity fillings done and they took great care to make an unpleasant experience much more bearable than I've had in the past.

Fantastic experience: New Smile Dentistry in Winter Park is an exceptional dental practice. The employees working in this office are treasures and are the only reason I'll continue going back. My opinion of upper management however is not so great, please take the time to walk into this place with fresh eyes like you've never seen it before; walk into the lobby and look at the ceiling tiles with water damage, the floors that are in desperate need of cleaning. As someone who is new to your office, if I hadn't had a broken tooth the appearance of the lobby alone would've had me looking for another dentist - I'll be back in two weeks and will be sure to update this review with photos either way :)

Dr. Esteves was very informative about my situation n helped me to feel at ease with the procedures I would need. The bill is always a scary thing but seeing the price of each treatment was very reasonable in my opinion. Will definitely be back!
