After seeing so many positive reviews online, we decided to try this clinic, and I’m glad we did. Nicole was my hygienist and did a thorough and caring job with my cleaning. Fantastic experience: I called them needing an appt since I'm 1000 miles from home and luckily they had a same day appt. Extremely friendly staff walked me through the entire procedure gave me multiple options from what needed to be done to make it right, to what they could do if I chose not to do all of it. Wish I had an office like this back home but if I ever need anything while I'm out this way I will definitely come back here. I'm awful with names so can't point out any one individual but I'll say everybody was kind and friendly. It was a pleasure considering what I had to have done.

Fantastic experience: What a blessing Silver Summit Dental is. They were open for business the day after Christmas when literally everyone else was closed. Fantastic experience: This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. I had an emergency situation over the weekend and called the emergency phone number for Silver Summit. I got a call back that afternoon from Nick who was kind, compassionate, informative and set me up to come in the see Dr Johnston that afternoon...on a Sunday! By the time I left that office my wife and I felt not only that we had found a new dentist, but also a great friend.

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience! Make this office your new dentist! I called early in the morning, before the office was open and the dentist texted me back immediately. I had started care somewhere else and didn't feel comfortable with my plan. This office got me in same day, did a full work up, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I came back the next day for treatment and they made me so comfortable! They gave me a blanket, let my husband be in the room, and made sure I had no pain or anxiety. They called me the next day to check as well. Best dental experience I have ever had! The whole office staff was amazing too.!

Fantastic experience: My sister in law, Sky, was able to get me in for an emergency that my regular dentist from out of state couldn’t get me in to do. They were so accommodating and made it a great experience, even with very little notice. Rebecca, the assistant was great and even let my daughter help her take an X-ray and Nick was super helpful with explaining my balance. Would absolutely recommend coming here for any work you need!

Negative experience: I agree with other 1 star reviews, Doctors and staff treat you kindly even getting a hand written letter thanking me for coming in. However, to bombard customers for a google review for just a consultation is ridiculous, no one should be leaving a 5 star review based on 1 interaction, especially when it seems like they only care about the 5 star reviews and getting the "membership fee". Other red flags are the random ads that are placed around that have nothing to do with teeth. After being referred out for a root canal, I contacted the office back to get the rest of my dental needs done, I was told I would receive a text back with the information. I was never contacted again. There is absolutely no good excuse for that, maybe my money isn't green enough for them since I was paying in cash. Kevin, Nickolas, no need to respond, I will not be looking for a reply. I told you about my many bad experiences, you lied and told me you were different, turns out you are all the same.$$$$$

Fantastic experience: I called around 5 different dentist they were the only one. That was able to see me the soonest by soonest I mean same day. They were able to pull out my daughter tooth the same day vs waiting another 2weeks for her tooth that was breaking apart. They very kind and amazing good with kids. I drove 2 hours out. I would do it again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kevin and his staff are so amazing and caring. My little one has high anxiety about the dentist and they took extra time and care with him to make sure he felt comfortable. Dr Tony worked with us during his procedure and he is so great. I would recommend them to anyone and will be going back frequently with my entire family.

Negative experience: I didn’t want to post a bad review but my experience here has bothered me ever since and then I recently posted on FB asking for dentist recommendations and after hearing stories about this place I felt that it’s necessary. I went in a few months ago with a really bad tooth pain. They did the full exam, X-rays, poked all my teeth, etc. They said I had a really bad tooth that would definitely need a root canal and 1 other cavity that they could take care of on my second visit when they put my permanent cap on. After I had that work all done, they scheduled me to go back in 2 weeks later for a cleaning. I got there and they did the whole X-ray exam routine again. I was confused because they had already done that 2 weeks prior but I brushed it off and figured it was just mandatory. I then get the cleaning done and holy crap was it the most painful cleaning of my life. Then after the cleaning the dentist came in and said I now have 5 cavities that need to be taken care of. WHAT!?!? 2 weeks ago I had a root canal and 1 cavity and now I have 5? In a matter of 2 weeks?? THEN he went on trying to convince me to get Invisalign. No I do not have the most picture perfect straight teeth but they are no where near bad. I was surprised he kept pushing it so much. During my 2 week break from this place before my cleaning, my husband had an appointment here. He went in, did the whole routine and came home stating he was also told he needed a root canal and blah blah blah. My husband never went back and hasn’t had any problems with his tooth. Now my daughter’s wisdom teeth are coming in so I posted on FB asking for dentist recommendations due to my experience here and I got several messages mentioning how horrible Silver Summit really is. That the employees/now ex employees even had shirts made saying “you need a crown and a mouth guard!” Basically insinuating that, that dentist always is telling people they need a crown and a mouth guard/Invisalign. They also mentioned a few other things but I’ll leave it at that. Just know there’s a reason they have good reviews and it’s not for being good or honest dentists. $1700 for a root canal with Dental Insurance. No wonder the dentist here claims everyone needs a root canal. Plus whatever he gets from getting patients to get Invisalign. Anyways, I definitely wouldn’t go to this place. Side note, the front desk person is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I loved the very professional care from the doctor and the nurses, as well as the atmosphere, and they also have people who speak Spanish! I recommend it 100%.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist. I always have. It has terrified me from childhood. So I didn't go. For 15+ years. So when I inevitably needed a tooth pulled due to a huge cavity, I panicked. A friend recommended Silver Summit because she had just had some emergency work done here, and at 8:30 a.m. after a sleepless night, I found myself at Silver Summit Dental. Everybody was so nice and compassionate, and my wishes for my care were totally understood and respected: it was a wisdom tooth that I needed removed, but I didn't want to go under general anesthesia. So they numbed me up and got to work! I've been back three times since then for my checkup, fillings, and crowns. Oh, and did I mention they're about a 45-minute drive away from where I live? That's how much I like this place. Edit to add: I know they do a gift card thing for a review. I just want to state here that I haven't received one in exchange for this review. I actually did just like them this much.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally give reviews, but I wanted to give credit where credit was due. I have been looking for a new dentist and I have found one. It was one of the best cleanings I have ever had and then they were not pushy about any of the dental work that I needed. Gave me my options, said how much it would be and then their patient advocate was incredibly helpful and informative on the different financial options. At no point did it feel like upselling or like I was being told the worst to milk every dollar out of me. It was appreciated and felt like an actual patient/doctor relationship. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I think this says I’m posting as Steve, but I’m Kristen Newton (his wife) the patient. I get VERY anxious going to the dentist, even for a cleaning. When I told them that for my first visit both Izzy and Krysten were amazing making sure I felt comfortable and doing ok. Was very thankful they understood and were so kind (even if it is a “weird” thing of mine)

Negative experience: Changing my original review after leaving and not having a good experience. I guess there is a reason why they want you to leave a good review for a gift card before they do the actual work. Should have been red flag #1 After my cleaning , which was good, the girl was sweet and cared that I expressed that I have had trauma from a previous dentist, the hygienist came in and asked if I had had x-rays and was asking if I was aware that I needed a deeper cleaning, which was a little concerning that she didn’t know what my treatment plan was. She was also very nice and caring. I liked her a lot. Then they had me go to another chair where the dentist asked me what filling we were doing because I had 2 teeth on that side that needed work, which I feel like he should have known. The 2 teeth that I originally went in for haven’t even been touched. There is zero communication between anyone there, I got to the front to check out and she didn’t know what work I had done. They wanted to schedule me for something completely different than what I had just talked to the dentist about in the chair, which was completely different from what the hygienist scheduled at the beginning and that is completely different from what the “patient advocate” discussed with me before I even went in today. There is a lot more that went on in the 2 visits that I had but I will be sure to warn people about this place. Needless to say, I left in tears, with zero confidence in their ability to take care of what I needed to get done and am back to square one needing to get the courage to find another dentist and start this whole process over again with a tooth that is broken and another tooth with a filling that fell out. And another thing, the patient charts were displayed on the tv that is for patients to watch, so if your name is Kelly, you are an older male and have Cigna insurance, don’t worry I know how much you owe them and everything that’s on your chart that they look at.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but these guys are great! I broke an old crown (done by others) and just wanted that fixed. Sky was very friendly and made arrangements to do exactly what I wanted instead of their usual new patient care. I ended up having them go through their process after all (Sky was accommodating with my back and forth decision) as I trusted them and their recommended action plan to fix my tooth.

Positive experience: First time visiting. Had a good experience, only complaint was the assistant would’ve had me get the panoramic x-ray while 5 months pregnant because she believed it was safe - if it wasn’t for another assistant telling her pregnant patients aren’t allowed to do the pano x-rays at all. I believe the most important part of patient visits is all employees being trained properly to be 100% aware of policies and procedures especially for pregnant patients. Please!

They “slowed down” to explain and “show” me everything. This was first time at a dentist that I completely understood all aspects of the treatment and I’m 57 years old. Fantastic experience: Hands down best dental office I’ve ever been to. I went in for an emergency extraction feeling a lot of pain around 4:30 pm, first off if my spelling is wrong on any of the names forgive me. But Izzy was the first person I spoke with, very nice and helped me with any questions I had, and they got me in the same day I called. Kevin and his assistant Cali were absolutely amazing, kept everything light and humorous, while being extremely professional and mindful of the pain I was in, they stayed late to help me and I’m so thankful they did because I was in a tremendous amount of pain. Nick, was the person I spoke with about payment, he was very respectful of my financial situation and helped me out a lot. All and all amazing experience all around. Both my wife and I commented to each other that we have not ever experienced interruptions during our cleanings asking if they have certain equipment in their booth. 2 or 3 times. We were there during the first appointments of the day and we had to stop in the middle of my cleaning to fill the water container back up. It felt a little unprepared. I gave a 5 star because they were great people and did a great job. We didn't appreciate the invisalign push on both of us.

Fantastic experience: The dentist and staff here are incredibly kind and professional. They always take the time to explain everything clearly which makes visits much more comfortable for someone like me who has dental anxiety. There was an unexpected issue where my insurance did not cover certain teeth. Even though it was not something they caused, they took the time to work with me and helped resolve the balance in a way that showed they truly care about their patients. I really appreciate the professionalism, compassion, and follow through.

Negative experience: I originally started coming here a while ago, and I truly loved Dr. Pham- he was the reason I enjoyed this office. I also loved their receptionist (Joey I believe was her name). I originally rated this a 5 star office. Finding a dentist you can trust is never easy, but Dr. Pham always took the time to explain what was urgent and what was preventative, without pushing unnecessary add‑ons. After Dr. Pham left, it felt like there was a small shift in the office atmosphere. I continued coming because I didn’t realize he was no longer employed there, but over time I began to feel less like a valued patient and more like just another number. Most recently, I needed work done and was quoted a smaller price than what I was ultimately billed. I was shocked and felt completely misled. While I understand that estimates can change, the final cost was far off that I would have taken more time to call other offices before agreeing to proceed. The personable side of this office is gone. At times it feels like walking into a car dealership, with what feels like constant attempts to sell me additional treatments even when I’m only there for a cleaning. I understand that business is business, but I truly miss the genuine and personal care this office used to provide. But I did manage to track down Dr. Pham so I'll continue seeing him at a different office.

Fantastic experience: Summit Dental is the best! I had never been there but needed emergency dental care this morning and they were able to help me right away. I found the staff to be so friendly and helpful from the young man who took my initial call, to the receptionist and the dental assistant. They were all very efficient and sensitive to my needs. I was very pleased with Dr. Johnston, explained everything so that I could understand and he was very concerned that he could find me the help I needed as soon as possible. They referred me to a specialist and even called to make an appointment for me. I am so pleased that I found Summit Dental and will happily refer anyone who needs a good dentist to them. I decided to get a second opinion, and I’m so glad I did. This office was not only way more affordable - literally about a third of the price but the staff was also super kind, honest, and professional. I never got any scammy or pushy vibes. Just genuine care and fair pricing. It’s rare to find a place that feels this trustworthy. Highly recommend!

Saying I was stressed and anxious is an understatement. However, after my recent visit. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Johnstun and his amazing team. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt completely at ease—something I never thought I’d say about going to the dentist! Dr. Johnstun is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does, and it shows in the quality of care he provides. Krystyn—she is an absolute rockstar! Friendly, professional, and so efficient. She made the check-in process seamless and took care of everything with such a positive attitude. And Sky—what a gem! Her warm personality and calming presence helped ease any nerves I had. She's incredibly attentive and made the entire visit feel more like catching up with a friend than a dental appointment. Trisity—she explained all of the finance portions in a way that was simple to understand and was more than accommodating to my schedule. And I most certainly cannot leave out Nickolas—AMAZING personality and makes you feel like family as soon as you step through the doors! I walked out of the office feeling taken care of, respected, and honestly kind of amazed. If you’re looking for a dentist who is top-notch and has a phenomenal support team, Dr. Johnstun and his team are the DREAM TEAM. Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: A huge chip of my tooth fell off at night on friday. Called them early Saturday morning and spoke to Nicholas, and he had me in that very day an hour later. They were very transparent with prices. They took great care of me and got my chipped tooth taken care of. They will be my dentist for life now. Nicholas also gave me free soap for being a first time client!

I called in desperation, and they were able to get us in the very next day. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was so warm and welcoming—we instantly felt like we were in good hands. They didn’t just treat us like another appointment on the schedule. They were genuinely concerned and made sure my son was comfortable and cared for. The receptionists were absolute angels—they took the time to call around and find the soonest available endodontist and actually got us in that same day. That kind of care and follow-through means the world when you’re in crisis mode. We left feeling heard, helped, and comforted—something that’s hard to come by in most medical offices these days. I’m beyond grateful for how they treated us, and we’ve already decided to switch our entire family over to this dental office. When people go out of their way to treat you like people and not just patients, it really sticks with you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Audrey was especially helpful giving me advice on another local professional who she had experience with in another industry. Awesome team!
