Fantastic experience: Oh WOW! Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place?! I received an incredible cleaning just last week which is when i first met Dr Almquist. Then just moments ago, he performed the most pain-free, smooth tooth filling a fellow could ask for. Im so pleased. Did not even need a needle, just numbing. THAT good! And let’s not forget his trusty sidekick, Lisa who was phenomenal when prepping for my wonderful experience. All wonderful smiles. Welcoming and spirited exchanges which made me feel right at home from the lovby back to the lobby. . Definitely recommend Premier Dental for all your dental needs! Tom H

I highly recommend this facility Premier Dental with your Dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Premier Dental in New Braunfels for years. I truly love the customer service. The receptionists are always very pleasant and cheerful. The dentists are nice and kind. My dental hygienist is Mackenzie. I have been going to her for a couple years and I love her. When I go to see her it’s like sitting with your girlfriends or family just talking about life. She truly makes the experience enjoyable.

I did so appreciate the kindness and warmth of the staff. The whole staff there were very very nice indeed and most helpful to me. The Doctor himself explained what he thought was the best actoon to take which he did. I really like going to Premier Dental I really do. From the great girls at the front desk to the nurses and doctors at the back. You are the very best you really are. To me this is the best place to be for all of your dental work. Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment with this dentist at 2pm, they called and rescheduled to 11:30. No big deal, I was available. When I arrived at 11:25 I was told they couldn’t see me because the dentist wasn’t in. I was told that they tried to call but my phone wasn’t working and she confirmed the phone number I’ve had for over 25 years that’s never been disconnected and I showed her the texts I was sent yesterday and today and she didn’t really care at all. I didn’t get an apology, any concern at all and was blamed because she said called me. Maybe you like wasting your time but I don’t. Choose somewhere else that will keep the appointment you set and make every effort to contact you if it changes. This place is NOT Dr. recommended.

Kat was so calm, reassuring, and kind — she really helped me relax. Dr. Almquist was incredibly patient and gentle, and somehow made the whole experience so much easier than I expected. Roxy worked so hard to get me in before I left the country for my honeymoon, and I’m so grateful for that. The entire team is amazing — caring, professional, and genuinely compassionate. Highly recommend! This will be my dental office as long as I live in the area!

Anna, the hygienist, was welcoming and very thorough while taking xrays and performing dental charting in preparation for Dr. Almquist's examination. Dr. Almquist was equally welcoming and thorough during his examination. Both identified needed treatments and communicated in a way that was easily understood. Anna and Dr. Almquist were personable, yet professional. My dental care is in good hands with Premier Dental and I would recommend them to anyone seeking professional dental care.

Negative experience: Does not work with payment plans and they didn't help me with my needs at all. Will never return here again

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but good experiences with this dental office. I have the definition of dental anxiety and everyone here is so supportive and understanding of this. Dr. Massa is so patient and understanding as well, anything I’ve had done, he keeps me updated on what he’s about to do and if I have questions, even on the spot, he stops and explains it. I highly recommend Premier Dental and Dr Massa especially for those who generally fear the dentist. Adding to my review on 9/3/25 as I continue to see this dentist office, I’ve since also seen Dr. Almquist and Dr Dotson and both are amazing as well! Will always recommend premier dental!

Fantastic experience: I needed a new dentist after experiencing years of frustration with my old dentist. Despite some hesitation to change, I knew I needed care. I could not thank the high heavens enough. This is the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. I felt emotionally and physically safe, the staff (literally everyone) was extremely nice and kind, most importantly helpful. They listened to and reported my health concerns and are extremely attentive to the details. The assurance of my safety and treatment plan was laid out up front with costs! It was a slice of fried gold. I immediately went home to tell my friends and partner (who, by the way, is ready to switch over) the good news. Shout out to the dental hygienist my teeth feel like a million bucks. No pain, no cuts, and no soreness. 10/10. PREMIER DENTAL is the place to be for all your dental needs. I wish I found them sooner!

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely amazing first visit to Premier Dental in new Braunfels, and can’t recommend them highly enough! From the moment I arrived, everything was top notch. The building is easy to find with plenty of spacious parking. Inside, it’s clean, bright, modern, and tastefully decorated. The office itself is welcoming and well lit, with ample, waiting room, seating, and even complimentary Keurig coffee – a nice touch! The front desk staff were efficient, friendly, and professional. I appreciated being able to complete most of the new patient forms online ahead of time which helped minimize my wait. A special shout out to Cindia, the x-ray tech –– she.was.AWESOME. As someone who’s genuinely terrified of going to the dentist, I was nervous walking in. Cindia immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly kind, non-judgmental, and knowledgeable, with a professional, yet warm bedside manner. She even took the time to show me product examples online (like toothbrushes and mouthwash) while we discussed care tips. X-rays are usually uncomfortable, but with her gentle touch, it was no sweat! Afterward, she walked me through my treatment plan line by line and answered all my questions clearly and patiently. Dr. Dotson was fantastic as well. His calm, straightforward demeanor was exactly what I needed. He explained my dental situation thoroughly and helped me understand, both short-term and long-term options –– all without any pressure or judgment. I left feeling informed and confident, and I truly hope he’ll be my dentist for years to come. Overall, I had an outstanding experience at Premier Dental. Friendly people, thoughtful care, and a beautiful office –– what more could you ask for?

Fantastic experience: I've had the most traumatic experiences with Dental care/offices in the past and was very reluctant to do business with any office. It started out a little rocky I guess, because of my paranoia. I have good insurance, so I try to do my due diligence, which sometimes gets me in trouble, anyway... Michelle made it easier for me to understand the when's, how's, why's and most importantly, how the out of pocket, coinsurance and codes all tie in, and what I could expect. She is very patient and honest and knowledgeable - I felt like I could trust her. I am quite happy and satisfied with the staff and treatment. I was able to relax this last visit and let my guard down, so to speak, so, now I'm satisfied and everything is good. I don't think I'll be looking for another dental establishment any time soon

Negative experience: I just called to confirm that this practice accepted my dental insurance and provided all info on my dental card, address, phone, email etc. and rep got everything in the system today 7/17/25 and after 12 minutes on the phone she then informed me that the 1st available cleaning date was 3/11/26 - next year! I thought the rep mixed up the month and/or was playing a practical joke on me. Such an odd experience that I thought I would share with others!

Negative experience: The worst office I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’ve been waiting for a routine cleaning for over a year every time my appointment would come up they would call and say they needed to reschedule. They had an issue in the office today I go show up with me and my kids to get cleanings and they decide to tell me they canceled my appointment because they said that they couldn’t get in touch with me but lo and behold. I have an email from this morning, reminding me about my appointment and they didn’t have the correct phone number because in that year, my phone number changed They said I should’ve called the office. I’ve never once had to call an office to say yup I’m coming for an appointment. I scheduled. This is ridiculous and the worst office I’ve ever experienced in my life will never recommend. If it gave me an option to do negative reviews instead of giving it one star I would
