I needed a procedure done that required my braces to be removed, and they went out of their way to coordinate timing and accommodate my schedule. Even with it being a last-minute situation, they were able to get me in within the same week. The entire process was smooth, and they were extremely communicative every step of the way. Dr. Rackley is Kois-trained, which was extremely important to us. This level of training means he uses advanced, evidence-based dentistry focused on long-term oral health and proper function—critical for implant cases. As I sat she began telling me step by step the process in which were going through. By the time the dentist arrived I was relaxed. As he went through each of the procedure of what he was doing, it was painless. I have never been to a dental appointment where I felt so relaxed and didn't have any pain associated with the procedure as we went through getting this filling done. Great job, great experience. Having dealt with dental anxiety for most of my life, I never thought I’d feel this comfortable in a dentist’s office, but Dr. Rackley completely changed that for me due to his incredible approach to patient care. He is one of the most meticulous and honest clinical professionals I’ve ever encountered. At every appointment, whether we were reviewing my x-rays, discussing procedures, or going over my care plan, he took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. He never rushed through explanations and made sure that every question I had was answered thoroughly, even if I accidentally asked the same thing 2-3x in a row, lol. I never once felt rushed or overlooked. His level of diligence and mutual respect deserves to be recognized. During each of my in-office procedures, he was consistently attentive to my comfort and didn’t leave until both he and I were fully satisfied with how everything felt, specifically my bite. He ensured my bite felt natural before moving forward and even graciously worked me into his schedule after checking up on me over the phone to make the necessary adjustments regarding a concern of mine. The office staff deserves just as much praise. They are remarkably warm, respectful, and professional individuals who genuinely made me feel welcome and at ease. The space itself is spotless and organized, which only reinforced my confidence in the quality of care I was receiving. Again, I cannot recommend Dr. Rackley and the Keenan W. Smith clinical office enough. He has set a new standard for what I expect in healthcare and I’m exceedingly grateful for all his hard work. Thank you for helping me feel better about my smile.

Negative experience: I had very high hopes for this practice but was completely disappointed. I came to the practice looking for a new dentist, and with the immediate hope getting help fixing a botched implant placement from another practice in Greenville. They were super kind and personable when scheduling and when I arrived, but that visit was grueling, and they seemed supremely unconcerned about this. It was my first and last time there though not for lack of trying. I do not have anxiety at the dentist and also a high tolerance for pain, so I've never had an issue before at a dentist getting any work done. The dentist, though he was able to help fix my problem caused another using brute force trying to sand the side of the implant, literally leaning his weight into holding my head so he could saw through sanding the side of implant where it met the next tooth. It was one of the most painful and bizarre experiences I've had. My assumption at the time is that perhaps that was the only or best option, so I took it on the chin and chose to trust the professionals. However the rest of that day and into the following days, I had persistent radiating pain in that area, was unable to chew on that side of my mouth, and was also unable to fit the thinnest of floss between the teeth AT ALL. I called the practice back, to try and schedule another visit to have it looked at, and spoke to a kind receptionist who said that she'd talk to the dentist and call me back that afternoon. I never heard back that afternoon which I initially brushed off as perhaps just a busy day. But between June 20th (3 days after my visit) and August 8, I contacted them 4 times and would be told they would talk to the dentist and get back to me, and they never did, except months later when they did reach out to "schedule my next cleaning". So I started my search again and eventually just found a new dentist. I cannot speak to why things were handled the way they were, but it was top to bottom a really terrible experience, quite oddly juxtaposed against a disarminlgly kind, but disorganized and dysfunctional practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time with fantastic care from staff and Dentists who I really LIKE. M visit was for a crown. I was in the chair a while and never once was I uncomfortable. There's a reason I drove from Myrtle Beach to get this work done. They are fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Keenan Smith and his staff are absolutely wonderful. He genuinely cares for his patients. Every time I walk into the front door, I am greeted with friendliness and smiles by the staff. The hygienists and assistants are all top-notch. I have never met a kinder, more caring dentist. He is a perfectionist who does outstanding work! What a blessing he and his staff are to this community!

Fantastic experience: I came here for a second opinion after a dentist I visited shortly after moving from Florida claimed I had cavities and needed fillings. Since I have no history of cavities, something about that diagnosis didn’t sit right with me. Dr. Rackley took the time to thoroughly examine my teeth using a combination of X-rays and 3D scans. After a careful review, he determined that what appeared to be a cavity on the X-ray was actually just the natural anatomy of my tooth—no drilling necessary. Thanks to his expertise and honesty, I immediately canceled my appointment with the other dentist and won’t be returning there. Dr. Rackley has earned my trust, and I’ll be sticking with his office from now on. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I went to this practice and paid for some expensive oral fungal DNA test and once my test results came back they weren't able to treat me for the diagnosis. Please inform patients prior to them paying you for a test that you aren't qualified to treat the infection. I would have never had the test performed had I been informed that I would have to run along and find a doctor myself to treat the infection. They wouldn't even give me a referral to an Infectios Disease Specialist who treat these types of infections knowing these were life threatening infections. I was stuck like Chuck. The only reason reason I didn't give them a 1 star is because the staff is very nice and friendly.

Fantastic experience: They were very prompt in taking me back at my Appmt time and as usual my visit was very good. Great background music and Jamie is always warm and welcoming and she always makes me feel comfortable. Nothing but good things to say about my visit.

Fantastic experience: I was sent here by the va office to have some dental work done. I must admit it had been awhile since I had been to the dentist and I had a bit of a fear it was going to suck and be painful. But I had a great experience. The place was clean and nice. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and warm. Laura, one of the dental assistants, was awesome and friendly and put my mind at ease through the whole process. Dr Keenan Smith was amazing and probably the best dentist I ever had. I can't even put into words how wonderful all these people are and how they made me feel on my first visit. To my shock, I felt no pain at all the whole time they were working on my mouth. I actually have another appointment today, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. If you need dental work I highly recommend you check them out and give them a try.

Fantastic experience: Just spent the day (10:30am to 4:30pm) in Dr Rackley’s chair, 3 fillings and a crown later I left extremely impressed! The procedures went amazingly well and there was absolutely no discomfort. Oh, yeah, had a cleaning before starting the other procedures, it was awesome too! Thank you for an amazing experience.
