Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I was very impressed by the friendly and professional way I was treated. I was a little early and they got me in within about 5 minutes of when I arrived. It may be a two and a half hour drive for me, but I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Positive experience: Everyone was wonderful. However, it seems like prices have increases for a cleanin ($300 plus), so I think I will need to decrease my cleaning to once per year.

Negative experience: The hygienist worked very fast and she was not as thorough as other hygienists have been in the past. She might have been upset because I was late for my appointment. The receptionist was rude. She told me that even though I was late that the hygienists would still see me as if to say she was doing me a favor. When I asked to have my next appointment in four month she cut me off by saying that the only thing available was until June.

Dr. Olsen is very professional, great bedside manners, and does her best to help you understand any procedures that she needs to do for you. All the staff at E.D.C. are all friendly and knowledgeable in their area. The receptionists will try their best to work around the times that best work for you. And hats off to Melissa, Tyler and the rest of Dr. Olsens staff. Been going there since the early 1980s with her father Dr. Morris. And I will not change for any reason now.

Fantastic experience: Dr Olsen’s staff was able an arrange a last minute dental appointment for me to look at my cracked molar. Her staff arranged the appointment the following day. I completed my paperwork on line the night before which expedited a minimal waiting time in their office. Their staff was very friendly. Her Assistant did a great job prepping me for my exam. Dr Olsen didn’t waste any time. She addressed my problem and gave me the choice to extract my tooth before or after the holidays. I chose immediate extraction and I am glad I did. My dental problem was over in minutes. I lived with this problem for weeks and now it is over. Dr Olsen is an excellent Dentist. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: My niece recommended Eastridge Dental Care for a teeth cleaning and exam. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. On to X-rays, I was a little nervous, but the tech made me feel comfortable and at ease. Next, I met my dentist. Her friendly and professional attitude made me feel as though I had been a regular patient. On to teeth cleaning, no pain and again I was very comfortable and happy to be here. After the teeth cleaning my teeth were scanned and was I impressed with how every employee treated me like a lifelong patient. So yes this will be my new Dental provider. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of this clinic for over 15 years and have always received great care. The atmosphere is very personal. Dr. Olson and Tyler, my dental hygienist are great.

Fantastic experience: From the receptionist, to the tech who cleans my teeth, to Dr. Olson, my dentist, everyone at Eastridge Dental Clinic is professional, friendly and caring. Today my dentist worked with Griselda, one of the highly skilled dental technicians, to pull an infected tooth with a crown attached and create a temporary bridge until their lab could make the permanent one. Griselda’s skills were excellent as she assisted Dr. Olson while my tooth to be extracted was prepped, and then she created the temporary bridge and fitted it to my mouth. The actual extraction of the tooth was completely painless, while Dr. Olson explained every step of the process. When I left, my mouth was still mostly numb, and thanks to Griselda’s anticipating my every need, I left knowing how to care for my temporary bridge, and I received several tips to ensure the healing of this area went as quickly and smoothly as possible. I highly recommend Eastridge Dental Clinic! I will try to attach a photo from Christmas season 2021 to show how friendly and fun the staff are:

Positive experience: Your survey is very difficult to access. I have been coming to this office for over 40 years. I was very disappointed in my last visits. I was informed I needed antibiotics for cleaning my teeth due to hardware in my back. The hygienist offered me some. Good thing I questioned it. The antibiotics were penicillin, which I have an allergy to them. At that point a paper was offered for my doctor to complete. I was then offered another antibiotic which by then I felt very uncomfortable taking. I then left. I had a lot of additional questions the following day and left a message for the doctor to call me. Someone called me back and said I needed the medication for the procedures and the doctor was busy. Fine, I got the paper from my doctor signed who answered my questions and returned on 8-25-25. I presented the paper and got my teeth cleaned. After the procedure I asked if my allergies were listed in my record. They were not. So I requested it to be updated along with info on my surgery hardware. I also stopped at the front desk because my address was also incorrect on the prescription i was given. I have a concern that why records from 40 years ago did not transfer with important facts about my health. I also don’t understand how my previous visit for having my teeth cleaned last fall 2024 after the surgery none of this was questioned or discussed. I know I could hardly walk in and sit/lay down in the chair but I was never given the need to take antibiotics. I know I shared I had just had back surgery I’m not sure the hygienist understood. Throughout my visit yesterday which started about 15 minutes late the hygienist continued to leave and did a lot of chatting with others. Very unprofessional- now I know she needs to makeup 8 hours of work! I’m hoping my next visit goes well. I understand the difficulty of running a practice. I hope I was not too harsh, but I needed to be honest. Thank you, Mary Schmidt

Negative experience: Today Wednesday, April 9, 2025 I had an appointment at 08:00 and was at the Yarbrough office at 07:39 no one to be seen at the reception area. When they finally started to arrive at 07:55 no one acknowledged my presence. After 12 minutes sitting in the lobby I informed the receptionists that I was waited to be seen and that they should have some customer service. They ask me to sign a form and went to the back to laugh about the interaction we had. I was the first and only person there, but at 08:00 another person showed up and it was seen by the hygienist at 08:05. I think that Dr. Nixon needs a manager or a supervisor to overlook the lack of customer service the staff provides. I canceled my appointment and left. This was definitely the worst experience I had in a long time. There are other dentists in the East side that would appreciate my patronage.

Fantastic experience: Seemed like every time I went to a new dentist they always seemed to find a cavity even though I do try to take good care of my teeth. I was told Dr. Olson does not find cavities that are not really there as some dentists do in order to make extra money. I happily had no cavities. I was very happy with the staff and Dr. Olson. Will definitely recommend this dental clinic.

Thank you Eastridge! 5 stars. We absolutely love Eastridge Dental Care!!!! Everyone from the first person to greet you to the final moment we exit is absolutely kind, professional, and amazing!!! I recommend them over and over! 2/21/23 so I had to drop one star. Dr Olson is still absolutely amazing!!!! However my 12 yo son had to have a tongue tie removed and my 1 yo had already had it done a little over a year ago. I was given a different price the first time and asked if there was anything we could do this time. Though there wasn’t, it was the way in which I was told no by the accounting person. I felt not heard and when I was asking procedure type questions she continually referred back to not being able to discount anything which means she really wasn’t listening to my concerns. I have also referred over 5 families to the office and have received certificates for discounts in the mail, however because I didn’t have them in hand they don’t count. I’d hope that there would be an electronic system showing my credit and/or referrals somehow. Again still love Dr Olson, but the accounting person does make me question my return. I’m sad about it for sure.
