Fantastic experience: Had an emergency situation regarding a veneer from another dentist coming off and Dr. Nevotti saved me!!! Literally had me fixed up in less than 30 min. She has a very genuine bedside manner and made me feel totally comfortable throughout the entire process. The front office staff were also very kind and professional. Just for context the veneer that came off was one of my top middle teeth so I was desperate which I'm sure they knew. But instead of taking advantage of the situation they only charged me 1/4 of what was initially discussed over the phone. Highly reccomend to anyone looking for a better smile from down to earth honest people. Thank you again!!!!!!!

Positive experience: My dental assistant was wonderful ! I would go to him again! Only reason for not a 5 star is your practice is not in my network of dentist and I have to pay out of pocket for things other offices cover.

Negative experience: Dishonest, evasive, and predatory. I asked three times before my appointment if my insurance would cover it — they dodged the question every time. During the visit, they pushed unnecessary treatments, overcharged by 5× for a cleaning, and tried to sell me $1,000 cavity fillings. Afterward, they demanded $540 even though my insurance paid me under $300, harassing me over their own billing mistake. Avoid Carrie Muzny & Associates at all costs.

I have been treated by different hygienists and Doctors. The bottom line is, no matter who is treating you, you are always in good hands. After failed attempts at multiple places, I was so relieved to be seen at Carrie Muzny and Associates by Karissa and Dr. Nevotti. Not only did they go out of their way to make me feel comfortable (after a horrible experience at Carus Dental) and explain every step, but they even stayed late to replace my chipped crown so I could have it done before I left for my trip abroad. Fantastic experience: I went in today to Carrie Muzny DDS and Associates for a routine cleaning with X-rays. As usual, everything was so efficient. Maria was fantastic! The procedure was done on time, was pain free, and she gave me some tips on how to floss under my bridges that helped a lot! Dr. Muzny gave me good grades on my oral hygiene practices!

Fantastic experience: My first time experience could not have been better. I’m 73, drove from Livingston, had a little trouble finding the building so I was a little late. I called and was led directly there by the sweetest lady EVER. From the front desk, to the dental hygienist Maria (the kindest, painless, most patient lady), to Dr McDaniel ( omg. I love her and the treatment plan for my unique autoimmune condition Sjogrens which is wreaking havoc on my teeth!), to the wonderful ladies that check you out, I was made to feel like royalty. I am so blessed to have found these beautiful, professional ladies just by doing a Google search when my longtime dentist retired. So I definitely want to pay it forward by sharing my experience.

My Hygenist (Lisa) was very patient with all of my questions. Dr. N was super thorough coming up with my treatment plan and I look forward to coming back for my next visit!

Negative experience: I would not recommend Carrie Muzny and Associates to anyone! They are overpriced, dishonest, deceitful, and have zero integrity. They did not fit a crown correctly for a broken tooth (stated by 2 other dentists), causing me to get a severe infection and a root canal. They put a hold on my clear aligners until I got 5 crowns that they said I needed. Once 1 got that, they would continue with my aligners at no additional charge. I verified this about 3 times with them. Prior to that, I had an appointment to pick up the aligners and was told I would have to reschedule due to Dr. McDaniell not being there. I got a second opinion from a more qualified dentist who stated I only needed 2 crowns. It took me almost a year to get everything fixed from them and the rest of the treatment, because Carrie Muzny used up all my benifits, and I had to get a root canal that I didn't originally need. They do not follow the standards for the American Dental Association or the Texas Administrative Code. They gave me a manipulated proposed treatment plan. I also requested my records from them a year ago, and I have yet to receive them. Now, they are refusing to finish the aligner process unless I pay for a cleaning and comprehensive exam. They wanted to take x-rays of my mouth to confirm the work I had done as if I was lying. After what they did to my mouth, I don't want them anywhere near me unless it is to take pictures for aligners that I paid for. Now, all of a sudden, they are going back on their word and want to charge me additional money, saying the fees are no longer accurate. They will do anything to get more money and do not have the patient's best interest. Malpractice is a great word to describe them.

Fantastic experience: I discovered a problem with a molar that needed some quick attention. They worked me on the next morning and had time to do the repair work on the spot. Problem was fixed immediately. I'm very happy with their work and the ability to get me in so quickly.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Munzy's excellent clinic for four years when I moved here. The staff and service is second to none. Friendly, courteous and professional.

Negative experience: In my experience, these people are a train wreck. Last year, they installed two crowns. It's now a year later and one of the crowns needs to be redone. They also tried to pull a broken wisdom tooth and utterly failed. This essentially leaves them one for three. To get this corrected, they referred my to two outside specialists because, apparently, both of these procedures exceed their abilities. Its a two week wait to see the oral surgeon and the endodontics guy doesn't want to see me until after the extraction. Good news for Tylenol. Bad news for me. I find myself in the market for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: oh man, let me tell you about my dental hygienist, Aujehl. She's got it all. Not only does she have killer taste in music, but she knows all the latest vacation spots. I mean, who else can clean your teeth while jamming out to your favorite tunes and giving you great travel tips!? she's like a one-woman party and a dental appointment rolled into one. and don't even get me started on how professional she is. Shes like a dental ninja, super skilled and efficient. its like she can clean your teeth with her eyes closed (but don't worry, she keeps them open!). so, if you're looking for a fun, music loving, vacation--savvy, and professional dental hygienist, she's the one to go to! Ask for Aujehl!! Going to the dentist can be a bit nerve-wracking, but she makes it a breeze. I always leave the office with a smile on my face (get it!?) But seriously, this place is great. . fantastic attention to detail and ensures everything is up to par.

Negative experience: After today I’m switching dentists or should say “hygienist” as it seems at this practice this is your main point of contact. They always want to get in my wallet when the dentist comes in for a 3 minute consultation. Went in today for my scheduled cleaning only to be presented on a “deep cleaning” recommendation for over $1100. I don’t understand why they opted not to do my regular cleaning after their appeal for this deep cleaning recommendation. It seems they are always pushing expensive options on my teeth using scare tactics. I suspect this is due to their high overhead expenses. As for me I won’t be wasting my time and money!

Negative experience: I thought not to write a review on my experience here, but after the exceptional care at my new dentist I have to share that it isn’t all five stars at Carrie Muzny’s and “the associates”. First off I spent a lot of money here. Some of which I feel was wasted. I paid to have two fillings done and within a few months they separated and cracked causing me to need them re-filled. I was told that this is common and sometimes these things happen. I’ve never had this problem before. Fast forward to when I took time off from work to have a routine check up and cleaning done. I did not have that cleaning done. Instead I spent an hour and half in the office and was sold on a $600 cleaning that I would need to reschedule for, and a $70 toothpaste to use until I came back…only thing was..I wasn’t buying that. They are pushy and don’t listen to your concerns. They want to do what they want to do..you know, the things that they can heavily bill your insurance for. When I called to schedule an appointment to correct the gone bad fillings, the receptionist acted as if I wasn’t speaking English. All is well now. My smile is cleaned and I’m on the road to a more affordable and reliable care!

Fantastic experience: The entire team deserves 5 stars! From the awesome atmosphere, to the hygienists and dentists, to the office staff…everyone is wonderful. They are all so knowledgable, and accommodating. I feel like I’m talking to friends every time I go to an appt! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I chipped a filling, not serious but should not delay too long. Muzny DDS managed to schedule me the next day. Clean, professional office. Everyone pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. Never felt the shot from DR. McDaniell. Done in about half an hour.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve ever been too. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. And we got a sweet gift. I look forward to my next cleaning.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienists and dentists at this office are amazing. Today I found out that I need yet another crown. Their team was very nice about the situation. They made me feel like I can ask questions about dental procedures and they have never tried to make me feel guilty about my teeth. I take care of my teeth but genetics play a part too so working with a team of professionals that make is easy is important. I would highly recommend this dental office if you need a cleaning or something more serious. They always treat you with respect and come up with the best possible treatment plan per their professional standards.
