My child has not had the best luck with dental trauma and Drs Pope and Cleere have been wonderful with him during some very stressful dental appointments. Everyone is great with cleanings as well, my kids love going to the dentist! They’re doing it right! Cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is AWESOME! I've never had a problem getting my kids to go to the dentist. Everyone from the front desk to the back with the doctors is exceptional. They are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, professional, and they have fun with the kids. The technology is top-notch. The office is spacious and clean, with plenty of screens and distractions for the kids, and, according to my kids, the BEST goodie bags!! We love Dr. Casper, Dr. Pope, all of Orthodontics, I wish I knew everyone's name. They are an incredible team.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so nice and friendly. The dentist is very friendly and energetic. He’s also patient with my son who’s afraid of the dentist. Came back again for cleaning for all 3 of my kids including my 1 year old. Fantastic experience!!! They are so patient and friendly!!! I highly recommend to everyone. I don’t care how long we have to travel to get here, it’s worth the drive. Update: still love the office overall. Most of the technicians are great and the dentist is awesome! So patient and friendly. My issue was with a technician on my last visit. She came off as racist by making comments that we don’t even speak English and she didn’t want to work with us. She definitely left a bad impression but I will continue to come here and just request not to work with her because everyone else is great. Edit: it’s been years coming here and we moved to a new house. We now live over 45 min away and still choose to only come to this dentist! It’s worth the drive. Everyone is friendly and the dentist is amazing with the kids. Even my 1 year old. I don’t care how far they are, it’s worth it.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist for kids! Dr Pope is amazing. Alex is amazing. The whole staff is incredible and aim to make kids as comfortable as possible. They make the whole experience fun for kids and are so patient. Would give 10 starts if I could.

Fantastic experience: So today is Christmas Eve. I took my two boys to have their regular cleaning this morning and had a lovely interaction with all the staff and Dr Casper. Great care. We left and I come home wherein my husband had coincidentally just fallen and chipped his front tooth. The dental office my husband goes to was closed so I decided to call the dentistry for children to see if the dentist could see my husband and they fit us in right away! Dr Casper evaluated him and took care of his tooth with the utmost kindness. I can’t say enough for the care the staff and Dr Casper gave to my 2 boys and husband today. Just superb!

Then Dr.pope came and was so professional and explained everything so well Then a goodie bag. My kids had so much fun and are excited for their next cleaning.

Negative experience: The worst experience we’ve ever had with a pediatric dentist. My child had serious problems after the treatment and went through a lot of stress. I also felt the doctor was inattentive and rushed during the visits. Overall, this was a very negative experience for us, and I personally would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: My kiddo had 4 teeth pulled and a frenectomy performed by Dr. Pope and Danielle. They were so amazing and made my daughter feel comfortable the whole time. They told us what was happening every step of the way and even had her laughing a bit during the procedure. They were made to work with kids. Really happy with this place.

The entire office is wonderful. Rachel at the front desk is the best — she’s so polite and always goes out of her way to get us the most accommodating appointments. Today we met with Dr. Cleere, and she was nothing short of amazing as well! My boys loved her, and her assistant Danielle was fantastic too. I truly have nothing but great things to say about this office and their staff. They make every visit easy, positive, and fun for my kids. Fantastic experience: We have been going here since my daughter was 2 and she is on the spectrum. They have been so patient, kind and caring with her.

Negative experience: A member of your dental staff, Michelle, was a huge part of my negative experience. Her attitude and the way she spoke to me were very unprofessional. My family loves this office and the care we receive from everyone else, but I do not believe she is a good fit for this team.

Fantastic experience: We always have a great experience at Ashton Family Dentistry! The hygienists are so kind and have been great with my kids, easing them into the cleaning and including them in small ways, like offering to feel the brush before they use the flavored paste on their teeth, and offering for them to hold the little hose that sucks out their spit. We’ve typically been seen by Dr. AJ and he’s just awesome. So friendly and easy going, makes small talk and cheers the kids on for doing a good job with their teeth. The best part, for my kids, at least, is the super fun goodie bags they receive at the end (which also include a new toothbrush and toothpaste, naturally). This place has our business, and I’m so glad it’s down the street from our home! Thanks everyone!

Fantastic experience: Very quick yet personal care! All three of my kids had their teeth cleaned and were seen by the dentist in less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Everyone there is so friendly and we all left with big smiles plus they each enjoyed their own “goodie bags”!

Fantastic experience: First visit today for my oldest went fabulous!!! So glad I chose them to be my kids dentist. They have both the regular pediatric dentist and orthodontist in the same facility. Other pediatric dentist said they refer out to other facilities. Idk about yall but I dont have time or gas to be traveling around to multiple places for 1 job. Thank you guys so much for a fabulous job and having everything in 1 place.

Fantastic experience: I have never reviewed a business twice, but our experience at Dentistry for Children was so exceptional that it warrants it. We had an emergency on a Saturday, and Dr. Milo completely dropped everything to come in and see us. He was so careful and meticulous while assessing the situation, gentle and kind interacting with my son, and really thorough in explaining the logic behind the course of action that he recommended. We are beyond appreciative of the staff who showed up for us when we needed it!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about this dentist practice! From the receptionists to dental hygienists to the dentist, everyone made this experience for my four-year-old, who went in the office absolutely terrified and came out with a huge smile on her face, so much fun and so much less scary! They are professional but also know how to relate to little kids, especially when the kid is scared and hesitant. I would recommend this office to anyone who asks!

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist for kids! My 2 year old was a bit scared to be there but everyone was SO incredibly kind to her and did everything they could to comfort her. Her hygienist, Pam, was the best and so sweet and was so patient while my daughter cried. You can tell each person was perfect for the job. Even the dentist was so great, he sang to my daughter and she actually let him do what he needed to do. The facility was also pristine, nicest dentist I've ever been to. Can't wait to be taking her back in 6 months. I think it'll be even better next time because she knows it's not scary and that everyone is so nice. And the toys helped.

Fantastic experience: MY CREDIBILITY: I have a 2.5yo toddler who is terrified of all doctors and any medical office. RESULTS: she is NOT AFRAID of this office, nor is she afraid of her amazingly talented, patient, and empathetic dentist and staff. Absolutely incredible!!! If you've never been to a dentist office that focuses on creating an environment that's very fun and geared towards giving your child an excellent dental experience, this place is going to blow your mind! THE WAIT is nearly non-existent, but if you do have to wait, it's an incredibly pleasant experience that makes waiting fun and comfortable - it's clean, complimentary coffee/tea/water, spacious, and has fun stuff like a selfie booth. CLEANINGS AND PROCEDURES: first, they give the kids toys and there are tvs playing age-suitable shows, like Bluey. On top of all that fun bonus stuff, the hygienists and the dentist we've seen have been so patient and willing to work with and around all of my toddler's fears and moods. The entire staff is amazing and wonderful to interact with. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED: We love it so much, my husband and I want to switch to this office. It's so amazing and fun!!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience at this location with Dr. Casper and the dental assistant Michelle for my child. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I have been praising them all day since our visit, which is not something that you would expect for a Dentist’s office. I’m really thrilled that we’ve established care here and feel very comfortable and supported by the staff in our shared goals of good oral hygiene for my kid. Also, the office staff were friendly and kind and just all around great!!

Fantastic experience: 10 out of a 10 highly recommended dentist place they are amazing with kids. They are very patient they sing songs they give them toys goodie bags. My daughter loves going there. The doctor is amazing and we love all the staff and the practice if you’re looking for a place to start your kid or move your kid to dentist. This is the place I wish my dentist would sing me a song while they do the cleaning lol

Fantastic experience: My son LOVES all of the staff here. Everyone who sees him shares a laugh with him whenever we go for a cleaning. They're super positive, upbeat and they really care about the families they see. On top of all that, theyre thorough and make sure everything is done perfectly... all while being one of the quickest dentists around. Will always go here for as long as my kid is a kid.

Fantastic experience: First appoint for our 14 month old son and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived the front desk was welcoming and amicable. The dentist and staff were informative and attentive to answering any questions that we had. Our son was a little grouchy but they handled the situation was grace and patience. He eventually warmed up to them. There was a nice surprise at the end that had our son leaving his appointment with the biggest smile.

Positive experience: My kids love going here BUT after 3 years of bringing all my children here they were inflexible with 15 min late arrival for appointment. After driving 35 min, fighting traffic and calling to inform I would be 15 min late due to issues at school they still refused to see my child for basic annual exam. I will find a different a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in you are greeted, they make you feel seen and heard. It was my daughters first dentist appointment and she was not scared for even a moment. As soon as we got in the car she said she had fun at the doctors and she made friends. Who knew going to the dentist could be fun..? The AMAZING staff did!

Fantastic experience: My 6yo came in completely terrified, and by the end he was asking if we could come back tomorrow. Ms. Pam took time to let him touch everything she would use, gave him lots of choices, and turned everything into a song. Dr. Pope made him feel like a rockstar. He also did a very thorough exam and answered some questions for me that previous dentists had dismissed. If you have a kid who's nervous about going to the dentist, this is the perfect place.

I’m taking the time to share this review because, ever since we met Dr. AJ, he has consistently provided outstanding care. He is truly a wonderful dentist—always friendly, kind, and approachable. My kids and I always look forward to our visits with him. Additionally, his assistant, Michelle, has been fantastic—she kept us informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Dr. AJ and his team. Their care is truly exceptional!

Negative experience: My 2-yr old and 5-yr old goes here and my wife thinks this dentistry is great for our kids. As an adult, I’m not as impressed. As a first time patient this past Thursday, I left without a treatment plan, or a referral to a specialist, or a cost quote for what they can do in-house. I was told that it would be sent to me by the following day via email, but I haven’t received anything. With me needing an extraction and implant, time is of the essence. I am going to see another dentist who has an in-house specialist who can perform the entire procedure. I hope they don’t intend to bill my insurance for this visit considering no info or documentation has been provided.

Fantastic experience: This pediatric dentist is the BEST!!!! I am more impressed every time i go and i have been with them for over 5 years and with 3 kids all different ages from teenager to 4 yr old and This place is GREAT for all ages (Heck I wanna go here) Its my 4yr olds favorite place to go!! Front desk is awesome and so nice and even reminded me to get a school note!!?? All the dental hygienists are so good with the older kids as well as the little ones very friendly and make you feel at home. Dentists are great and they know their stuff and give great recommendations. Don´t think twice if you have the chance to come here DO IT!!!

Fantastic experience: I called with a concern about my daughter. The person who answered the phone had me send in a picture, she showed it to the dentist and they called me back and scheduled us for a same day appointment. The staff is always welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic experience: They were very quick to bring us back. I've got 2 toddlers and they put us side by side. It was my 1 year olds first time and they gave him a toy to get him more comfortable. He did great with the cleaning and checkup. And they even gave a welcome drawstring bag with a teddy bear along with the tooth brush and toothpaste. My 4 year old did well with toy bribes as well and they have tv on the ceiling which was a big hit for him.

Fantastic experience: I wish I had experienced service like this growing up! Dentistry for Children provides a friendly, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that puts both kids and parents at ease. Both of my kids genuinely love coming here, which is such a relief as a parent. Our dental hygienists, Gigi and Denita, were absolutely amazing—extremely thorough, friendly, and attentive. The office is thoughtfully designed with kids in mind, featuring comfortable chairs and TVs mounted on the ceiling to keep them entertained during their cleanings. They even offer a variety of fluoride flavors for the kids to choose from, making the experience fun and engaging. At the end of the visit, my kids were thrilled to receive new toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even two small toys, which felt like party favors and made the visit even more special. Dr. Pope was exceptional, providing a very detailed examination and helpful recommendations for what we should expect in the future. The care and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. Our overall experience has been nothing short of top-notch. I highly recommend Dentistry for Children to any parent. Your kids will actually look forward to visiting the dentist instead of fearing it!

Fantastic experience: Dentistry for Children is an excellent experience for our 5 and 3 year olds. All staff and doctors are good with children and do their best to make sure a thorough exam is conducted while keeping the kids comfortable.

Fantastic experience: We came to dentistry in Olney for a second opinion for our son’s infection. We were so pleased with their staff in taking care of our son and felt that our concerns were heard. They listened and made a plan that we believed was appropriate for his age and circumstance.

Negative experience: Lack of follow up and follow through. Requested to have the dentist call me regarding x-rays. After 5 or 6 messages and no return call I went to another dentist. X-rays at the new dentist revealed 3 cavities. This was within just weeks of the initial x-rays. Finally when I called Dentistry for Children and requested the X-ray’s and complained that my calls had not been returned, the office manager called and offered to refund my payment for the x-rays. When I left a message in response to this insulting offer, my calls were, again, not returned. Be careful when they say “let’s just keep an eye on “this shadow “ on the x-ray, be very careful.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience ! I had called over the weekend for a dental emergency for my daughter. They put me on the list for 8 am Monday and we were out with a repaired chip in tooth and beautiful smile restored. Couldn’t have been nicer and more comforting. We have been going here for 16 years and I will be sad when my kids outgrow Dentistry for Children. Dr.Pope and team are wonderful and a big shout out to Miss Pam ( our dental rock) for the assurance and hug!

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going to this practice for years. This week, my Child had three teeth extracted. The dentist and tech were awesome. My son was very nervous, but they calmed him down quickly. They did the procedure very quickly and he was home 45 minutes later. He had very little pain after the procedure.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely LOVE Dentistry for Children in Olney! The office is beautiful and bright. The staff in the front of house are warm and welcoming. My son loves the games he can play while he waits in the spacious waiting area. I love that they have a beverage station. The dental hygienists and dental assistants are the absolute best! They know how to make children feel comfortable and relaxed. My son was excited when Ms. Pam came to his Kindergarten class last year! Ms. Pam is a gem...she is the child whisperer of dental hygienists. She calms my anxious boy and masterfully gets him through his appointment. This last visit, my son needed a panoramic xray. The dental assistant noticed that my son felt nervous and talked through every step, letting him know what she was doing, what he could expect and what was coming next. The dentists are the BEST of the BEST! We have had positive experiences with them all. We adore Dr. Casper. He is friendly and warm. The staff feel like an extension of family. Highly recommend!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this dentistry, been coming in since my oldest son was 2 he is now 22. And continue to bring my other children in for check ups. Dr Casper is the absolute sweetest and gentle dentist Dr Pope is so hip my teenage son loves his sneaker game, everyone is just so pleasant and friendly my kids have never dreaded going to see the dentist. Fantastic experience: First and foremost my apologies to anyone that was at this Dental office today at noon. It was pretty bad for my little one, his anxiety was at a peak from the moment we told him we were heading to see Dr. Pope and Ms. Gigi. The worst thing any child wants to hear is another child screaming at the top of their lungs, as if being tortured. Not all kids and adults can handle being in a compromising position with weird eye ball glasses and a bright shiny light in their little faces. Unfortunately he screamed, kicked and made it nearly impossible for them to complete a full cleaning. But thankfully the expertise, patience and dedication they have for every patient is not lost. As a parent I was hopeful that he was going to miraculously allow them to work, but he chose the not in my mouth option. They comforted us by showing compassion and kindness to him. He was instantly happy of course when it was time to check out. Most of the office was staring at him and he was un-phased. The entire staff is amazing and efficient, here. Willing to work with your hectic schedule and make certain accommodations for the louder kids, like a private room. We are grateful for this office and everyone that always has a smile and a friendly hello for all. I highly recommend Dentistry for Children of Olney MD.

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying how amazing Dentistry for Children is. I chose this practice for my son because of the care that I personally received starting at 3 years old with Dr. Casper. My son’s dentist is Dr. Pope, and wow is he awesome. Dr. Pope is remarkable with children, and he is knowledgeable, patient, and extremely kind. Pam and all the other staff there are so sweet and are so great with children, as well. They are all gems. I love how they treat my toddler with such great care and are so welcoming every time he comes in. These are such great people and such a great practice.

Fantastic experience: I love this place for my kids! Denise is the best with my 4 yr old daughter! She has amazing patience and knows how to talk to her and gain her trust. She doesn’t push her to do anything she isn’t comfortable with. I love how she gives my daughter a great dentist experience. I highly recommend Denise and Dr. Aj. Overall the whole staff and dentist are great! They seem to genuinely care and are well trained and educated. I wish I had this dentist as a kid, maybe I wouldn’t be so traumatized lol

Fantastic experience: I love this place.... they are amazing with my kids and when they started taking adults I've been with them since....never had a problem with billing or with anything...... let me tell u my dentist was so good that I feel asleep in the chair while they where working on my teeth... what does that tell you..... straight comfort..... and ms pam is amazing.... thank you all....

Fantastic experience: First time dentist visit with my 13 month old and they were so friendly. From the minute I called to schedule an appointment, to every one that greeted us while there. They also have a selfie booth, and some tablets that my children thoroughly enjoyed while they waited for their brother. My son was seen by Dr. Pope and his hygienist who were both very friendly and made it a great experience for my son’s first visit. They even sang along to my corny song to help keep my son happy LOL. Thanks a bunch!! We will be back.

Fantastic experience: Can't express how awesome the staff are here at this dentistry - everyone is so friendly from the time you walk in, go to the back, and leave! I have 2 young children and the hygienists are super friendly and know how to work with young children to keep them focused. One of my kids even said "I had fun at the dentist." Additionally, Dr. AJ is amazing, shares what he sees and how we are doing with our oral care. Overall, would recommend this location to families with littles!

From the front desk staff, to the dental hygienist, and the dentist everyone went above and beyond to make my daughter’s first experience at the dentist a positive one!

Fantastic experience: I had my own appointment before both my kids (3yo and 6yo). Everyone was great with the kids as they waited for me to finish my cleaning and they were phenomenal with the kids for their appointments. Fantastic experience: My 3.5 year old daughter does great when visiting Dentistry for Children in Ashton. Everyone is phenomenal - the technicians, hygienists, and dentists, and they all clearly have so much experience working with children! The office has toys, stuffed animals, and TVs - all helping to make a dentist visit a pleasant experience for children. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: They work really well with my child with disabilities, and my husband who has a fear of dentists so 2 thumbs up for our family! Update - we have added to our family and they have been amazing with our 1 year old as well. All the staff are kind and and friendly from the front office to the dental chairs. They have also teamed up with Ashton Family Dentistry and now take adults which makes it convenient for the whole family. Still 2 thumbs up!
