Fantastic experience: Everyone was so helpful & the service excellent. Getting me in early was a huge bonus & greatly appreciated. The appointment today was for the lower partial denture replacement & I really appreciate the extra care taken to make sure it would fit right. The professional service with all the staff has really made it a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and didn't have a dentist in the area. Alamo Ranch got me in within an hour and they were amazing. I scheduled a cleaning on the way out and will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, knowledgeable staff that greet you with a smile! No sales pushing or pitching! They take most dental insurance. Carla is by far the BEST and most thorough hygienist I've ever had! Very easy access location in Alamo Ranch.

Negative experience: I tried to give this place another chance , but the unorganization and lack of customer service is the main reason I won’t be coming back. The staff seems very unhappy , and can’t even hold a conversation with a teenager. Pretend to care and try to show you want to be where you are. Again, the doctor was too booked to finish out appointment, and was waiting over an hour to be told she was behind. My two children were overlooked for their X-rays and wasn’t given the proper care. Sierra the office manager is still very rude and doesn’t show any sincerity when speaking to customers. I was told they didn’t even need a cleaning, but because they couldn’t get me in for my son’s treatment they scheduled a cleaning. The appointment wasn’t completed and now being told I have to wait until to be reimbursed for the $250 i put down for my sons treatment. Very upsetting and this time won’t be taking my review down. I took my original post down as a courtesy to give them another chance, but this place is not catered to kids and needs a staff that can relate to children.

They make sure I’m comfortable, they’re professional, they build a relationship with their patients and make me feel truly cared for. I really appreciate all the work I’ve gotten done here the last three weeks. It has been a pleasure going back each time. I will never go to another office again. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Alamo Ranch Dental for several years now. I saw Dr Villarreal the first 3 years and was sad when he left. Dr. Zubeck has been my dentist since and I am very impressed with his work. He and James did a crown for me this year and did a great job.Dr. Zubeck has a great bedside manner and is gentle. I had a cleaning today and I wish to compliment Carla, the hygienist. She has cleaned my teeth three times now and I love her. She in gentle and does a good job. She is such a sweet young lady!

Fantastic experience: It’s taken me such a long time to find medical professionals like Dr. Grajeda and Zelma. Dr. Grajeda is quick but efficient, patient, kind and empathetic. She did a phenomenal job on my dental work and eased my anxiety by making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Zelma, I believe a dental assistant, was also just as great, patient, and funny - the perfect combo to distract me from my anxiety around my work being done. I will definitely be back and appreciate the kindness and empathy I’ve received throughout this process. Thank you!

I was impressed by the technology used for imagery and treatment. Dr G and her staff made me feel welcomed. They presented immense knowledge and skill in their efforts while tending to my needs. Fantastic experience: Alamo Ranch Dental provided extremely excellent service today to my 94 year old father. Carla, the hygienist was so patient and caring while doing his cleaning. Rashaad, the dental assistant and Dr. Grajeda were very thoughtful and considerate as well. They were extremely accommodating and tried to make my father who was having problems laying back due to age and flexibility as comfortable as possible by allowing frequent breaks to sit up and cushions to alleviate some discomfort. I cannot thank Carla, Rashaad and Dr. Grajeda enough for their understanding and excellent dental service to my father. It was nice to see such gentle care being used for someone who really needed it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always disliked going to the dentist . In the past at different dentist , I’ve always kept feeling pain after the shot of numbing the gums or teeth’s. But coming to Alamo Ranch Dental they have changed all that for me . I didn’t feel a thing when I got my 1st root canal in fact I almost fell asleep. It’s been great being here with them . Everyone has been very nice . Everyone here is knowledgeable and professional at their jobs. I am very satisfied with their work . 5 stars all the way .

Dr. Zubick and Rosie got an emergency root canal done right then and there without having me come back. Thank you! The front desk staff are always so pleasant, too. Fantastic experience: I “hate” going to the dentist! Always have and always will due to trauma in childhood back in the 1950s. But, I like Alamo Ranch dental staff. They are caring and pleasant and patient! But I’m disappointed that they stopped giving a discount to seniors at Del Webb just down the street from them.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit to Alamo Ranch Dental. We moved to San Antonio 8 months ago and needed a new dentist. The whole staff was competent, friendly, and very professional. I was amazed at the knowledge and thoroughness of the hygienist and Dr. Villarreal. I have sensitive teeth and gums, and I felt no discomfort. Went back to have 2 crowns done. They were very accommodating with my sensitive gums.when I had some discomfort after the procedure, they made me return to adjust my bite so I would not have pain. They returned my call immediately and gave me a prompt appointment for the next day.

Dr. Zubick was friendly and professional, and didn’t over diagnose. Update: I returned to the office today to have my new bridge cemented. It fit Perfectly. It didn’t need any Adjustments and the color Matched beautifully.!!!

Positive experience: Had a dental emergency that involved complications. Dr. G evaluated that she would refer me to an oral surgeon to ensure those complications could be better managed. Thank you, it worked out well.

Fantastic experience: I live in the Alamo Ranch Community and Alamo Ranch Dental has taken care of my dental needs for over 3 years. I highly recommended their services, because the staff is courteous, professional and very personable. They communicate with their patients via email, text and/or calls to address up coming appointments or scheduling issues. They also do a great job of explaining any dental procedures and other appointment related questions. They seem to pay attention to the little details that matter went it comes to patient's health, happiness and good oral hygiene health. In a time when dental offices seem to be springing up on every corner, patients have plenty of choices, I'm glad I chose Alamo Ranch Dental.

Positive experience: Everyone was friendly but the dentist who came in didn't say anything to me. He stayed behind my head the entire time talking to the assistant about me in 3rd person. I then made an appt with the female dentist for root canal and crown, but I was told they have a special dentist for root canals. I already had a very confusing, outrageous bill for all the work I needed and didn't know if this "special" dentist would charge me for his services. I cancelled that appt today 9/03/25 at 12:10 pm with Jen and my appt was scheduled for 9/10 so I certainly should not be charged anything. I read the paper I signed and gave significant amount of notice. I feel I have to put this here due to the previous reviews I've read and the need to protect myself. My appt was ok, thus the 3 stars. I Did NOT like the dentist, Dr Zubick.

Fantastic experience: My husband I just moved here from South Florida and we chose Alamo Ranch Dental for our new dentist office and I must say, exceptional care and thoroughness. The ladies at the front desk were kind and welcoming to everyone that came in. Janie cleaned my teeth, she is a wonderful hygienist. Very kind, explains everything clearly and efficient. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Zubick a very kind and gentle dentist. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a tooth pulled and de nivia and her assistant Rose were amazing. First time that I’ve been to the dentist and didn’t feel pain during an operation.

Fantastic experience: I was blown away by the kind of service I received from this dental office. The moment I checked in ,the ladies at the front desk were genuinely smiling so being their for the first time made me feel welcomed. The dentists are amazing! They’re fun, knowledgeable and not pushy. Dr Brandon explains the process and took the time to answer all of my questions. He even offered for me to get second opinion if there’s doubt. I thought that was amazing. Not very many practices would do that. I felt comfortable with him. Christina was my hygienist and she’s the bomb! Very professional, Knowledgeable and explain the issue in a manner that I can understand. Most of all she was very light handed that cleaning my teeth felt like she was brushing it. She’s amazing! Isabel was an amazing staff member too. She helped me checked in and took my X-rays and not very many repeats. She did the best in my opinion. Overall, I highly recommend this dental office not only for their professionalism but also the technology they offer. Everything is top of the line , the office is very clean and Myra and Gina the ladies at the front office know their stuff and they make it nice and easy for you.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistants are excellent and perfectionists in their practice. Dr. V is gentle. I have less anxiety going to Alamo Ranch Dental. On August 19, 2025 Virginia did and excellent job my regular cleaning. Water Pik and scaling were super and thorough.

Negative experience: I started going to this provider about 2 or 2 1/2. I was being seen by Dr Villarreal, who was an excellent dentist. Unfortunately, he left the practice to start his own business about 6 months ago. Here’s where things start going wrong for me. First, I was not notified that the dr Villarreal left the practice. I didn’t find out until my follow up appointment. The second thing I didn’t appreciate was that when the other Dr on staff came in to review my X-rays he didn’t introduce himself, he didn’t even address me directly. He just spoke into the air. Thirdly, my last appointment I was even more disappointed. The straw that broke the camels back was my encounter with the billing lady. Without going into all the details. She was rude and then threatened to report me to a collection agency. There was some confusion regarding an outstanding balance that I didn’t know I still owed.

Negative experience: 3 of my children needed work. We paid a significant amount of money that was double what our insurance EOB stated we owed. Called to figure out if there was a credit on the account. Was told no because of a CPT code they used which was agreed by the doctor/office & insurance company coincided with original treatment plan. The EOB from the insurance even stated for the doctor not to charge the patient for it. Was told that’s why we were billed was for that. Called MetLife & they stated what was billed is unethical. This place is unethical in what they charge after negotiating with insurance companies on their fee schedule. Asked our new dentist to look at EOB & a family member who does billing for a dental office & both agreed what they did was wrong. We overpaid for something that was included in the original cost yet they gouged us relentlessly for it! I know many who have stopped going to this office for the same reasons. Only reason I looked into our situation was because of issues someone else I know has had. Highly don’t recommend this office. But welcome to San Antonio where most things are done unethical.

Positive experience: Very good service but they have to stop changing doctors. Seems like the only one from the original group is Dr. V. So far ever replacement for Dr. Favre has been horrible. I haven’t made the latest one. So we will see how it goes. As for the billing department. Well let’s say they can’t seem to understand that most FSA accounts don’t pay unless the bill matches the charge. Can’t even tell you how many times my account got lock up because of them

Fantastic experience: Alamo Ranch Dental provided me with the most attentive, detailed, and informative dental service like none I have previously experienced with a dental clinic I have been a patient for 15 years. Although my appointment was very long and exhausting, it was so necessary and I would push through it all again knowing I was thoroughly taken care of like a priority patient. Negative experience: New patient since my previous dentist retired I had to look for another dentist. The experience was not good at all. It felt very check the box, lacking any personal touch. Both the tech and hygienist seemed more concerned with moving me through the process versus trying to build a trusting relationship with a new patient. Apparently, I need a ton of work (deep cleaning) which required me to talk to billing and they refused to do a basic cleaning. I walked out and will get a 2nd opinion since this is the first I hear that I require extensive dental work, as I get cleanings every 6 months consistently.
