Negative experience: I should have left this dental practice years ago. The primary dentist was rude, sarcastic and nasty.I stayed because this practice is near where I live, accepted my insurance and had fairly good reviews. Big mistake!! Since going to another dentist to follow up on a crown which had been rebonded by Braid St Dental I was told that I have a major infection in that tooth which should have been identified by this dental practice if they had taken the proper X-rays. Next I found out that a tooth implant was recommended. If I had not left this office I could have lost this tooth and may have had a dangerous infection. The dentist here is always in a rush with one foot in the door and the other foot out the door. He did not ask the proper questions and seemed annoyed with me whenever I asked a question. So happy that I’m finally out of this practice and its toxic environment !!!!

You had an established treatment plan for that tooth and were scheduled to return for the next step of care. We take diagnostic imaging seriously, and we obtain X-rays routinely; at the time of your visits, nothing in your exams or imaging indicated an urgent or dangerous issue. Dental conditions can change quickly, and another provider may also interpret findings differently. We also recognize that you’ve experienced dental anxiety, and our team has consistently worked diligently to accommodate your needs and comfort throughout your years with us, as well as answer any questions and provide clarity about your dental journey. That’s why it’s disappointing and inaccurate to see our practice described as a “toxic environment.” We take that characterization seriously, and we do not believe it reflects how our team treats patients. We'd love the opportunity to hear your concerns and we welcome the opportunity for you to call our office directly to hopefully better understand your perspective and sudden change of heart.
Negative experience: Final statement!!!!!! I will be speaking to my attorney and further more this is insurance fraud. Telling me the day in the office that YOU don't accept my insurance after months of confirmation by my insurance and you have the Audacity to charge me.... Absurd!!!!!!! And I was seen by another Doctor to inform me that I Don't need a root canal by a well skilled professional, elsewhere. Not worthy of further commenting. Listen to the telephone conversations for months. That speaks for it self. Good riddance. I'll see you in court as well as my insurance agent and attorney. Never seen by a so called doctor....What a joke Cared more about the insurance than the patient.... Simply, Good Bye.

You were referred to find a root canal specialist and scheduled based on a provider who previously worked at our location. That provider’s name was listed at our address on your insurance company’s website, and only the provider (specialist) can remove or update that listing. Unfortunately, he is no longer affiliated with Broad Street Dental Associates. When you arrived, another doctor in our office evaluated you and determined the tooth required a root canal through a bridge, which is not a case our office treats and requires a specialist. We did not perform any treatment or procedure, and we also explained that our office does not participate with your insurance network. A standard office-visit charge was automatically generated, but a quick phone call would have allowed us to personally review it with you and work toward a resolution given the circumstances—and that offer still stands, as we sincerely want to make this right. We wish you all the best in your dental care journey, and if this explanation clears up any misunderstanding, we’d truly appreciate you considering an update to your review.

Negative experience: Been going there for a couple of years now. Dr. Andolino is nice but the staff are extremely rude! The nice people are gone from the reception desk. And they spring surprise bills at you with no proper explanation. Time to find a new provider!

Negative experience: I stayed with this office for far too long, and I regret not leaving sooner. I experienced pain and discomfort at nearly every visit— whether it was a routine cleaning or a procedure. I was assigned to Dr. Burdette, who worked very part-time, and had extremely limited availability. Her appearance was unprofessional, and her work was rushed and sloppy. I had to go back multiple times to get things corrected, and I often had pain afterwards. I was once made a retainer that was way too small, which caused terrible pain — and instead of fixing it, they blamed me, and also refused to refund me even though I couldn’t wear it. How was any of that MY fault? If I had pain or another urgent issue and Dr. Burdette didn’t have availability, which she usually didn’t, I was told I’d either have to wait for her next opening, whenever that might be, or go elsewhere! The other dentists never had availability, either! This happened more than once — completely unacceptable! If a long-term patient is in distress, someone should MAKE time to see them, even if they might need to stay an extra half hour. The dentist I go to now would see me at midnight on a Sunday, if I was in pain and needed him! The hygienist, Amanda, was nice, but I always experienced pain during cleanings — no matter how many times I mentioned my sensitivity. Also, the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable, and no one seemed to care. No pillows, no support, nothing to make patients at ease. The receptionist was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Her attitude was consistently unpleasant, and every interaction with her was a nightmare. I’ve since found the most amazing dentist just up the street, and I now realize how much better things can be. I actually look forward to my appointments with my new dentist! I’m sorry I stayed at Broad Street Dental Associates as long as I did. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place!
Negative experience: Last October I had a scheduled cleaning appointment, it happened to be Halloween. When the hygienist completed the cleaning she informed me that there were no dentists there to exam my teeth and that my insurance wouldn’t be charged for an exam. Fast forward to last week - April 2025. I had a scheduled cleaning for 5 pm. I arrived at 4:50, remotely checked in. At approximately 4:55 the hygienist called me to her room - the size of a glorified broom closet. She proceeded asking me health change questions, asked okay for X-rays and I approved and she completed the full set of X-rays. She then started and completed a cleaning at the speed of light. She then let me know that once again there was no dentist on site to examine my teeth and that my regular dentist had left the practice - no previous notification of her leaving was given. So now it is one year that my teeth have not been examined. I asked about making an inquiry about dental coverage but was informed that the front desk people had left for the day. I was back in my vehicle at 5:21. So from 4:55 to 5:21 all of that occurred. Do not feel like I got a through cleaning. I called the office a few days later to speak with the office manager - there is no one but was offered for Dr Andolino to call me back and I agreed. 36 hours later still had not heard from him. I called the office again to have my records transferred to another dental office. And the front desk people are not patient friendly.

Negative experience: I was very unhappy with Dr Matthews after going to the dental office for about 5 years. I was in the middle of having a partial denture made for me and I came in for what I thought was an appointment to try on the appliance and pick out my tooth color and the whole situation just turned around on me she told me if I wasn't happy giving a third impression that she would refund my money and I could go somewhere else. And that basically is what happened. I'm very disappointed at her behavior and I put in a call to speak to doctor Andolinos nobody ever got back to me

The greeter asked me my name and reviewed my information to make sure that there were no changes, invited me to sit down and advised me someone will be out to get me which was only a few minutes. Negative experience: Dr. Burdett ruined my back right tooth. She said the a cavity needed fixing and did the procedure. And ive had discomfort ever since. First, time returning she said it was normal to feel some side affects keep in mind this was 2 months later. I Come back a while after that and she tells me i need a root canal. I go to another dentist for a second opinion. And I find out from him that she ruined a perfectly good tooth that didn't even have a cavity by drilling too deep. He referred to it as sham dentistry. I was told a root canal wasn't even worth it and I am better off having it pulled. I had to hold off anything because of money but now have. A appointment scheduled for next week with a oral surgen but I have to put up with a tooth ache until then. The 90 dollar co pay for that was a complete rip-off. What she referred to as a cavity that needed fixing was actually a tunnel filling done by a different dentist , which was a perfectly good filling

Negative experience: I scheduled an appt. 8+ months in advance and we I called to verify the day and time, I was told I did not have an appt. Which I thought okay maybe I was mistaken it was so long ago, perhaps I only scheduled my husbands appt. I asked to schedule an appt with the “friendly” receptionist but she told me new patients appt were out until December. I was due for my cleaning this summer so I just decided to schedule with my current dentistry. No big deal. So when I received an automatic appt. Reminder I was so surprised for July 10. So I called Broad Street Dental to change the appt and again I got the “friendly” receptionist. I told her I did not understand why she couldn’t find me in the system when I called the first time 3 weeks ago and her response was we can’t find you bc you’re a new patient. That’s just how our system works. Okay so I had a few more questions but she kept talking over me and when she aggressively asked can I talk I simply said no because she kept cutting me off with everything. So she hung up on me. That was quite an experience - not very professional. That’s never happened to me before. I did not swear nor say anything mean so I did not understand why she hung up. I called back and asked to speak to the office manager, perhaps I would have had an easier time rescheduling with her. She said they didn’t have an office manager so I asked to speak to one of the dentists and she hung up again. I called back and another young girl answered and I asked if she was the manager she said no and refused to tell me her name then proceeded to hang up. It was quite bizarre. So I’ll just leave it at that. I definitely will not be scheduling with this office in the future and I would recommend others not to. The level of professionalism is very unfortunate.

Fantastic experience: My denture mold was done professionally. The dentist held the mold in my mouth with her hands until it set. This was not what I experienced at another dental practice which failed to do it properly therefore causing my dentures not to fit when presented to me. But Broad Street Dental did it right thanks to a attentive staff. Thank you!

Positive experience: I have been a patient for many, many years. My hygienist was Jen but now is Maureen. She is a very thorough hygienist and does a great job cleaning but is a bit heavy handed. Just a little too much digging deep for me. I haven't & don't like to complain but I just need it not to be too rough. She is a very nice person, easy to talk to and next time I go I will mention this to her.

Positive experience: The substitute hygienist asked me which dentist I see. I said I don't know. There's 4 dentists, I know one, the others come in and look in your mouth and look at the x-rays and say you're good to go! No introduction, no compliment. For all I know they could have pulled someone in from the street to do that.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so kind! Really concerned about any problem or fear I might have had going to the Dentist. I didn’t have any fear when I left! Making me feel comfortable with any “silly” question I asked. So particular- checking ever tooth and gum placement to going over my teeth 3 times when cleaning them. My teeth were soo stained and dull, when she gave me mirror I could not believe how beautiful! They got my whole family in at one time! 4 of us!! The receptionists were all friendly and helpful with care and smiles! We left there being all happy!!! -Amy

Fantastic experience: The hygienists and dentists are so professional and kind. However the front desk receptionist that I always seem to have to work with at checkout is so rude. She never did call me back regarding my insurance coverage. I basically had to look up my coverage and show her how the treatment was covered and still I couldn’t get an answer or a call back. I left for months and decided to try again. We will see how this goes.- *Update - the new receptionist was much nicer and everything went so smooth. The dentist and hygienist were thorough and gentle as could be. Everyone was so nice at my last visit, it made up for my previous experience and I’ll be staying with them now.

Fantastic experience: My family and I had to switch dentist office after our old dentist closed after the pandemic. I must say we do like the dentist office, the doctors are very friendly and so are the ladies at the front desk. We don’t have a long wait, we’re in and out. We do love that also! Fantastic experience: Great experience every time. Always a short wait or no wait at all. Wonderful staff and dentists. Today I was in and out in 20 minutes for a filling. I was also very happy that they were able to use a short acting local anesthetic at my request without any pause. I drive 45 minutes to come here and have been for years. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Arrogant and Condescending! I gave a courtesy call to there office 5 minutes prior to my appointment due to being stuck in traffic. I was going to be 10 to 15 minutes late. When I was on the phone with the secretary was snippy and rude I came into the office asking to speak with the office manager I wound up speaking with doctor angelino in his office he who at the time was arrogant and condescending. Instead of saying to his customer I will address it he puffed out his chest stated she told me about the phone call and started to defend his office staff. The sad thing is I have been going to this dentist dentist facility since I was 8 years old when it was doctor decross's he would be rolling over in his grave right now if he saw the way I was treated.
While we are saddened to see a 1-star rating, we take all feedback seriously and as a learning experience to better ourselves and our dental practice for the future. We are sorry to hear that you felt you were treated disrespectfully and aggressively. Our staff work tirelessly to treat each patient with the utmost respect and kindness and if you felt anything other than that, we humbly apologize as our priority is to find the quickest route to a peaceful dissolution of the issues at hand. To clear up any confusion, our office staff always state that in the event a patient is more than 15 minutes late the possibility of rescheduling may be needed as it creates a domino effect that affects & inconveniences the rest of our patients scheduling. We felt the information was communicated professionally and calmly with regard to your situation as well as our office's schedule to uphold. We do appreciate your patronage and wish you all the best.

Fantastic experience: On Thursday morning while flossing something pulled away from a tooth. No pain, couldn’t see anything or feel anything with my tongue. I called Broad Street Dental and explained my problem. They had an opening the next day. When I saw Dr Burdett I thought I was wasting her time. Turns out I had a loose filling. Dr Burdett drilled out the old filling and Donna put in a new filling. Easy peasy, good as new. My favorite dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to a dentist in over 2 years due to the pandemic and moving to the area. I found Broad Street Dental through my insurance company and gave them a call. They were able to get me an appointment in the same week due to their cancellations. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly from the minute I walked in to the minute I left. I'm someone who is nervouls at the dentist, but the staff's friendly demeanor and willingness to answer my questions and talk about my exam findings put my mind at ease. Fantastic experience: Had my second appointment for placing a permanent crown and starting my new temporary crown. I’ve been very anxious about having the procedures but the staff/Dr made me feel comfortable and the procedure went very well.I brought my own noise cancelling earbuds just to help me avoid the necessary sounds. Played music and relaxed!! I’d recommend this dental group for the best dental work. Dr Andolino is excellent. He is very gentle and anxious to answer any questions you have. And this is from a person that’s not fond of having dental procedures!!

Fair and Affordable Rates, Pleasant Staff and they do a great job with cleanings, fillings, root canals, and crowns. Fantastic experience: I paid out of pocket because assistant failed to ask if I had the same dental insurance or new insurance, I didn’t remember to tell assistant , about my new dental insurance because she never ask for it. upon arriving for my dental appointment she asked for my name and then said have a seat. I didn’t realize my new card was not active yet, this cause me to pay out of pocket. I felt really bad because there was no apology from the dental assistant for not asking for my insurance card upon arriving for my appointment and no thank you have a good day at the end.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Andolino always puts his patients concerns first! I had a crown that came loose and needed repair and he understood my concern with it being in the front.
