Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross has been taking care of all my dental needs for almost 10 years now. Followed him to Grand Avenue Dental as he opened his practice. Always the most professional, detailed, compassionate, precise care you can find. Your comfort is always his top priority as he expertly navigates your individual dental needs. His staff at G.A.D. are of the same mold. He has even come in on his day off to make sure I was taken care of and to get me out of discomfort. You will not find a more professional, patient focused, caring, dentist and staff in my opinion! I just had over a dozen crowns done and couldn't be happier with the results. I must also give a big thank you to his assistant Haley, she is Awesome as well!

Fantastic experience: I have the best hygienist and dentist. Robin is super and very informative. Dr. Ross is a great dentist and really cares. I would not go to anyone else. The only thing I have had trouble with lately is the gals taking the calls. A week ago I had a crown fall off and couldn’t get in to have refitted until a week later. Now I have to have a new crown. Not happy about that. Before when this happened they fit me in the same day. Otherwise, I love GADC!

Fantastic experience: Had somewhat of an emergency situation, the team fit me into an already busy schedule. Diagnosed the issue I have quickly, with compassion and without rushing me out because they were so busy. They explained everything to expect on my next appointment and the young lady explained all of the charges thoroughly as well. Fantastic experience: I had the first tooth pulled in my life and was very apprehensive about it as I had heard the horror stories. From the Ist shot to the extraction was totally painless as Dr Dreyer was amazing. I would highly recommend him for any procedures you need. Awesome experience for being to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE this dentist’s office! Dr Ross has been fixing up my neglected teeth and he is hands down the best dentist out there. Along with his amazing assistants and staff the office itself is cozy and comfortable. Always immaculately clean and the procedure room has a tv to watch to keep you distracted from the maniac drilling into your mouth . I’m just playing they are genuinely the best people and the best dentist in Billings. I have an intense fear of the dentist and it kept me from seeing one for YEARS! I made an appointment here and they make sure you are completely comfortable and ok with the procedure before they even start. They were so understanding and took amazingly great care of me. I would absolutely recommend, more like INSIST that you switch or start going to Grand Ave Dental! Can’t say enough about how great this place is!!! Fantastic experience: I had a dental issue over the weekend, called Grand Avenue Dental on Sunday. Dr Ross called me, we discussed my problem. He told me that he would call a prescription in for me to help with the swelling and then scheduled me an appointment for 7:00 am Monday morning. The exam went good, I needed a root canal it would take an additional appointment to complete the job. Dr Ross called me Monday afternoon to check on me and I really appreciated the care that I have received from him.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office as a new client due to changes in my insurance plan. As a new client I was treated as if I was a long timer. Everyone was very friendly and courteous and very professional. Also, my status was explained to me in terms I could understand. Thank you for welcoming me into the Grand Avenue Dental Care family!

I will NOT EVER go to another place again. Haley and Casey were wonderful and Dr. Honaker by far the most level headed professional in this field I have met. Fantastic experience: Best visit I’ve had in my 70 years of life! All the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I learned so much from my hygienist plus she was gentle. Dr. Ross listened to my dental issues and we discussed options. Never once was there any pressure to have expensive treatments. I was in control of my care. He did an excellent job on my front teeth and now I am not embarrassed to smile!!!

Negative experience: I was really disappointed in my experience with Grand Avenue. I recently switched dental insurance providers and due to that, needed to switch from my long time dentist in Billings that I loved. While on the search for a new provider, I asked Grand Avenue numerous times via their website chat if they were in network, to which I continued to get responses that would not answer and only pushed me to set up an appt. It is a 4 hour roundtrip drive and don't feel comfortable using a provider that blatantly refuses to advise whether or not they are in my network. When I called the following day to speak to someone in person, I advised that my insurance company has them listed as in network but didn't see them listed on the Grand Avenue website and therefore wanted to confirm before booking. Mandy stated there was one insurance provider listed on their website (there are actually 15) and that she couldn't (or wouldn't is more likely the case) confirm if they were in network and that I would need to call my insurance company to confirm. I called my insurance company knowing I had received bad information and they literally said "sounds like someone didn't want to do their job". Even if the dental work is excellent, I would never be able to trust them or have any confidence they do what is right for their patients. Update: The business' response clearly indicates they still don't comprehend the issue and/or haven't thoroughly read my review to address my actual concerns. Strike 2.

Fantastic experience: The level of concern and care is beyond anything I have ever experienced in a dental practice. Robbin, the hygenist goes above and beyond the call of duty to take care of my teeth and gums. The dentists are kind and thorough, honest and efficient. The staff is kind and helpful. Going to the dentist has not been a pleasant experience for me until I found this practice. I've had bad and good experiences with dental visits and teeth cleaning, but now I've had an absolutely outstanding experience that makes me want to return. Amazing!

Fantastic experience: I had a situation that needed handled in a timely manner. Even after the dentist I was scheduled to see had gone home sick, another dentist stepped in and took care of me. From the receptionist to the dental assistant, the dentist, the financial person, and check out, I couldn't have been any better cared for.

Positive experience: Nice place. Cleaning was great. But there is way too much pushing of "the membership." Why do all dentists do that these days? I just need a cleaning and an exam.

Fantastic experience: I have another exam tomorrow but I’ve been worrying lately cause the last dentist I saw recommended I pull all my teeth and get implants or dentures. DR Thad assured me he could save most of my teeth and I might need like 4 or 5 implants In the back. But my anxiety to rest. Dr. Thad was also super busy but he too his ear piece out and had his assistant take care of other people’s questions so he could engage with me super professional highly recommend them to anyone especially if your like me at all and is terrified of going to dentists.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Grand Avenue Dental since around 2009. My experience has always been top notch. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m scared of the dentist but they are the best at putting me at ease and the customer service is second to none. Update on this previous post. I still cannot say enough praise about Grand Avenue Dental Center. On 6/14/25 I woke up just a minor ache in one of my teeth. Fast forward to 6/17/25 and that ached turned into unbearable pain. The pain traveled from the bottom of my mouth to the top of my mouth and in the ear that was on the same side as the bad tooth. Dr. Ross made time to get me checked out. My tooth was completely dead and infected. Dr. Ross and his amazing staff skipped lunch to work on my tooth to make sure that my unbearable pain was fixed. Later in the day Dr. Ross took time to call me and make sure I was feeling better. I’ve never had that kind if pain in my mouth before but it was comfortable knowing that I was in the hands of place who treated my pain like they would treat the pain of their closest friend, family member ect. Needless to say I will continue going to Grand Avenue Dental Center as will my wife and kid.

Fantastic experience: Update*** my 3rd or 4th time at this dental office, I always feel so welcomed and cared for, the people in this office never cease to amaze me with their friendliness, caring, energetic, considerate and maintain their professionalism. I feel as this is my place, so as long as they are in business, they have me for as a customer/ patient..... absolutely love these people! **************************************** FIrst time there and I felt welcomed, not judged, was able to try out a relaxing chair-- that was a treat! The hygienist was professional, patient, asked me questions and if she was sure what I was asking she made sure she understood what I was asking, and Dr. Brian Draayer was professional and courteous and excellent bedside manners. He was patient. First time honestly that I ever felt the care and patience and courtesy in a Dental office ever! Now mind you this was my first visit there and with that being said means a lot to me. Fantastic experience: I so appreciate the attention that was given my specific concerns on dental care going forward. Both Dr. Ross and his technician were patient and listened well. I had my filling done the next day. It was done well and I have a good contact on that tooth. Both Dr. Ross and Haley (assistant) were very kind.

Fantastic experience: They got me in the same day my brige came out. They were very friendly and did a meticulous job trying to prep the bridge to stay in. When it was time to discuss the other work I needed I was told it would be 4400 out of pocket, another dentist in town quoted me close to 19,000. Grand Avenue Dental will be my Dentists for as long as I live in Billings.

Fantastic experience: I got Dr Honaker. HE PROVED HIS SKILLS he's now my FAVORITE dentist. He did such a great job on my reline that I could go without adhesive, I do use a super tiny dot. (Yes I need a trim lol) I've been told 4 different dentists in Billings to try getting my dentures remotely fixed so I could wear them. I eventually gave up and make my own, which turned out good but couldn't eat with them. So 5 years later my daughter found Dr Ross and highly rated him so much that she followed him when he started Grand Dental. So she told me to try him. Well I was minorly disappointed when I got Dr Honaker. HE PROVED HIS SKILLS he's now my FAVORITE dentist. And my return appointment was scheduled within the next week. My return appointment with Dr. Ross was for extraction. Fantastic experience: After myself and my children had to find a new dentist, we decided to give Grand Avenue Dental Care a try! We had been with our previous dentist our entire lives as a family. After he passed away, we were extremely apprehensive about obtaining new dental care. Needless to say, we are more than pleased with this location. The staff are professional, communicative and kind. We have a new family dentist and I highly recommend this facility!

Fantastic experience: I was in for a scan for 2 crowns to be made. I was seen early, prepared by tech quickly and as promised, the dentist came right in. He explained what he was doing, asked several times as to my comfort . He answered my questions and I was in and out much more quickly than I expected.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth. She is a very pleasant girl. I appreciate the time she spent with me and I apologize for being a few minutes late for my appointment. Sorry. We had ‘“stuff” going on at home.

I’ve been here three times now, this morning being my first ever root canal at the age of 29 and will continue going to this office till I move. Fantastic experience: Starts by being afraid of the dentist. And neglecting my oral health since I was a kid. I chewed on ice for years. Now they are all breaking and my fear has gotten worse. Dr Ross at Grand Avenue Dental has taken on my case with understanding and gentleness. They have made fixing my mouth a workable process financially. I have always had a beautiful smile. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency . The clinic worked me into their already filled schedule. Casey. A dental assistant was there when I walked in carrying a warm blanket. (She knows it helps with my anxiety.). Dr Draayer took care of my tooth and I was set to go. Everything okay. Dr Draayer and Casey kept things comfortable with their pleasant sense of humor.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for the dentist that have given my special needs adult with Autism his teeth back! Other dentist said it was a lost case and his teeth were just going to fall out by the time he was 40. I have taken him to the dentist twice a year his whole life and I was devastated! Fantastic experience: My daughter needed her wisdom teeth looked at during our last visit. Dr. Draayer was very helpful and explained to us how they were pushing up & causing some pain then receding back down. Knowing how her wisdom teeth are going to come/go, as far as coming in, made a big difference for her. Dr Draayer could have just said "They were not ready to come out yet." I'm always treated so good and kind and he always cares and always makes sure I'm ok even after I get home.Dr Honaker today I was to have a filling but I needed a root canal but instead of having me wait he did it immediately. I live over 6 hours away from his location and his thoughtfulness of not making me have to travel so far for a 2nd time made me greatly appreciate his service he has. Fantastic experience: Dr Ryan Ross and his Staff are so AWESOME!! I had tooth implants done and almost 0 pain! Everything was explained to me as the work was being done. They know exactly what they are doing. I liked the precautions they took to make sure you don't get an Infection. They have the most up to date technology on hand. It was just a great experience. The 2 implants look and feel awesome! I finally get to eat with both sides of my mouth. I'm so glad I chose Grand Avenue Dental Care!!

Fantastic experience: I needed to have a tooth looked at today that had a cracked filling. I went in to Grand Avenue Dental and they were absolutely incredibly amazing! Not only are the front desk girls the best so is everyone in the back. Dr. Honaker was so nice and detailed in what was going to happen and even when numbing the roof of my mouth he warned me before hand and he explained anything I asked him to. I have never been a fan of the dentist but they were so amazing that I even set up a cleaning and will continue going there because they made me feel comfortable. The Doctor even called to check on me and gave me a call back to reach out to if needed.

Fantastic experience: After several years of neglecting my teeth, I developed a loose tooth. After searching thru my insurance providers info, and reading online reviews, I chose Dr. Draayer. Sooo helpful, sadly had to refer me out, but I found my new dentist! Wonderful, fast, friendly and efficient office staff!

Negative experience: I confirmed numerous times on the phone the pricing of 178 for everything they would do my first apt, and when it came to paying they charged 253 (which included 5% off as I paid cash). If you want a dentist that is upfront about pricing and will ask you to do something for an additional charge before just doing it then I suggest you go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr Honaker is the best dentist I have ever had( and I have had a few). He is a skilled dentist with an excellent bedside manner. Dental work is never fun but he and the team make sure patients are as comfortable as possible. Highly reccomend.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first appointment and cleaning with Grand Avenue Dental! Bed side manner was top notch! Her name has slipped my mind, but she was professional and super informative, while also being very personalable! I had to have a referral because of some previous work and Dr. Draayer explained in detail what his concerns were and why the referral was necessary. I have very sensitive teeth/gums and have had ALOT of dental work in the past 4 years, and they were accommodating and informative on how we can improve some problem areas! I'm so happy I found Grand Avenue and was able to get in as a new patient within 6 weeks versus my previous dentist who's scheduling was 8-10 months out, even being an established patient! Nothing but a positive experience. 2nd visit: Had a root canal redone and was in for my permanent filling yesterday! In and out in 20 minutes and checked X rays to show my missed root was taken care of (referred out) and was shown that the procedure was now complete! I CANNOT say enough good things about my experience here. I honestly cried happy tears getting in my car!!! 3rd visit: Went in today for regular cleaning and check up (3rd visit). Top notch chair side manner, explanation and comfortable conversation! Gave me some great tips to work on some problem spots. Front desk ladies were helpful, informative and friendly. I have had once again, nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Draayer and the wonderful team at Grand Avenue. They have completely changed my entire outlook and experience of going to the dentist and I am so grateful!

Fantastic experience: I was recently in Billings visiting from out of town and had a dental emergency requiring immediate attention. Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit and it was the best dental experience I’ve had. From the check in, cleaning, exam and check out everything was perfect! The people were so kind and compassionate and I learned things about my teeth I had never learned from another dental appointment. Definitely 10 out of 10!!

Fantastic experience: I had 20+ year old fillings on my chipped front teeth that looked aweful. Dr Ross did an AMAZING job at replacing them. He was kind and I could definitely tell he cared about giving me a smile I would love. He also went out of his way to assure me insurance would cover the cost. I'm not embarrassed to take photos showing my teeth now and I cannot stop looking at them!

Fantastic experience: Great environment! Always been scared to go to the dentist! But it was painless and were very friendly! Had coffee and water in the lobby! It was a great start to my day! Will be back to these guy and o my these guys from here on out.
