Negative experience: I went to get implants for the clip one. He put them in incorrect they broke through my gums within days and I'm told by my new surgeon who's trying to help me they are to large. And he placed them side by side in the front of my lower jaw. I would recommend you do not go here.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this place or the people who work here. I truly feel lucky to have found them. I have pretty serious anxiety about dental work, and the genuine kindness and care they show immediately help calm my nerves. What makes them special is that this isn’t just a first-impression experience — they treat you this way at every visit. If you’re anxious about the dentist like I am and don’t know where to go, this is the place. You won’t regret it.

Negative experience: Well the dentist was amazing, got my teeth pulled quick, as for the financial side, I was told insurance would cover most of it and out of pocket I would owe around 170 out of pocket, no problem, I pay it at the visit, ask if there is any other fees? Im told no thats it, fast forward to today, I get a text message saying I owe another 270 dollars, so I call, they tell me those original numbers are just estimates, and it could go up or down a little bit, which i wasnt informed about at either of my first two appointments, even with a quote stating how much I owed lol, even varying up or down doesnt justify essentially paying twice what I was originally told, and then trying to shrug it off like but we wrote off 300 dollars, I wasnt put to sleep, I was an easy stick on being numbed and he was done in ten minutes, I understand paying for someone's knowledge, I dont understand hidden fees, no point having insurance if I would be paying just as much out of pocket with or without insurance, in closing make sure you tell them you want a bill upfront and accurate if using their services, this is manipulation at its finest here.

Fantastic experience: Morehead Dentistry completed my oral surgery 3 days ago. A couple normal extractions plus adult wisdom teeth extraction. My experience while in the office was wonderful! Everyone made me feel comfortable. I was given a sedation pill to take before my appointment, and it made the waiting for the surgery to begin less anxiety filled. My recovery has been very very easy, minimal pain, minimal bleeding. I will absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone needing top notch dental surgery! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Morgan did a fabulous job explaining the types of X-rays being done, and did an excellent job with the teeth cleaning process. The equipment is high tech and the offices are very comfortable, you see the results of all the X-rays right on the screen. Very impressed with my first visit!

Negative experience: Used them before in January and had a great experience got me in and out really easy! Called today to make an appointment and was told to make one online. Then when I try online it says to call and when I call they say they won’t see me without a referral and no one else takes Medicaid and is accepting new patients just to give me a referral so I’m stuck with this dying tooth that I just want removed

Positive experience: Had the appointment but didn't get financing approved. I called but she was unavailable , I wanted to pay the balance but no return call. Unfortunately I guess I lost $400 and will have to find another surgeon.

I was a little nervous about the IV sedation but the way they explained the process and followed through was a absolutely incredible experience. Negative experience: I was supposed to get 4 wisdom teeth and one molar removed, told me I could still get them out after I cancelled and it would be taken care of. Get back into the chair and suddenly I'm told he's not pulling them... Stuck me with the needle twice, left the room, came back and took my tooth out... No time was waited long enough to actually get numb, I was actually numb by the time I left! So I was blessed with feeling every little bit of my tooth being extracted... Doesn't seem very professional to tell clients one thing and then only tell them different when they can't change their mind and say I have to reschedule, I ain't rescheduling ISH for your guys mess up.

Negative experience: I do not recommend going to see this particular dental practice, and advise any veteran that is involved with the VA Hospital to steer clear and stay away. I had two bad incidents at this location, and I felt that a particular dentist employed there, Dr. Saeed was not professional what so ever, she talked about my medical issues in a lobby around patients, laughed at my medical issues, that could have resulted in an automobile accident, with the receptionist. Under an attorney’s advice, I requested documentation about the medical issue I was having, Dr. Saeed questioned my motive, and tried to give “legal counsel” on a day of an emergency visit. As far as Dental advice, I don’t have any issues with taking her or any other Doctor in that field about feedback because that is there area of expertise, but I don’t think Dr. Saeed is any type of lawyer or involved with that field. I formally requested the owner to call over these issues, but I am still waiting on the practice to reach out, no response yet. I do believe that the dental office reached out to the VA and canceled me from coming back to their practice as well, because of the issues I was having with them, in order to cover up and sweep things under the rug and not tarnish there reputation.

Negative experience: Cut all of my teeth out and only afterwards I find out all I get is Tylenol and ibuprofen. Straight agony for days. Look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time having dental care in over 20 years and was a very positive experience. All of the staff were very polite and professional. I didn't have to wait long at all to be taken care of. They made the process as painless and easy as possible. Highly recommend Moorehead Family Dentist for your dental needs. Edit: had my first deep teeth cleaning today, and the hygienist, Alex, was professional, kind, and efficient. Hoping the VA sends me back here for future visits. Great place and people! Edit #2: Have had maybe 5 or 6 more visits, and every provider and staff member has been great! The office staff are always kind, professional, and communicative. Dr. Saeed, Dr. Moorehead, all of the care providers, hygienists, etc, have been friendly and truly great at what they do. They all have been thorough and do their absolute best to make sure I am comfortable and that all concerns are properly addressed. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place!

Fantastic experience: I have been to this office four times now and everyone is incredibly nice. The billing department is exceptional….you know the amount owed before any procedures and everything is estimated. My most recent visit was to replace some old amalgam fillings on two teeth. Dr Lear and DaJanee were both incredible. They explained every step of the procedure, it didn’t hurt at all, and I am much happier knowing the metal is no longer in my mouth. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: I am an anxious mess when it comes to dentist appts from a bad experience when I was younger. Dr. Lear is absolutely incredible. She did the work today for a crowne and made the process painless for me. Her and the team were super patient and kind. I fractured a tooth and I am moving across the country in two weeks. They made room to get me in and get it all done asap. My 25 years of dreading the dentist is finally over after Dr. Lear taking care of me today! I will happily fly back twice a year to remain as a patient!

Fantastic experience: my first time there and it was AMAZING! I don’t know the girl that cleaned my teeth but she was the sweetest girl! The setup is beautiful and they are all very welcoming. You even get a TV right above you to watch while you get your teeth cleaned. 20/10 rating!

I have the worst anxiety for any kind of dental work as well as a fear of Iv sedation however this office staff and dental team truly were a game changer!! Diane and kerri in the front are such kind people!! You can tell they love what they do and want you to be ok!! The assistants that helped out today( I didn’t catch their names) were so comforting and let me know I would be ok and stayed by my side( at least what I remember ). Dr. Moorehead knew about my fears and let me know he wouldn’t let anything happen to me. I trusted him and his staff and it paid off!! The sedation and surgery went flawlessly! Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff. I didn't go to an office that they suggested because it didn't take my insurance. Instead, I went to the place (where my husband went) because they took my insurance. Now, they refuse to see me and finish the job on my tooth. They're acting all offended, for some reason, even tho my husband did the same thing. Honestly, thinking about contacting my attorney. Well then why did you people lie and say you knew how to put a cap on a tooth? If you would have been honest and said you're not a real dentist and you don't know how to do anything, I would have made an appointment with a real dentist much sooner. I don't think I should have to be in pain because you don't want to admit the truth.

Fantastic experience: Alex the hygienist was great! She has amazing costumer service skills which you can't find much of anymore! My teeth feel so fresh and clean. The other staff that I came in contact with were also so great. Love the atmosphere here.

I was seen right away by Dr. Pat and Justine for my appointment where they took time to ensure any questions I had were answered. Dr. Pat is tier one at the numbing process! Justine was patient and took time to make sure everything was on point!

Fantastic experience: Great place, amazing staff! Went and got my wisdom teeth removed and fillings with sedation. The front staff was so sweet and informative! The woman (Leslie, I believe) who got me all set up and did my fillings was the sweetest woman ever! She made me feel so comfortable and she did an amazing job! Dr. Moorehead was awesome as well. Best Dentist around! Once I was done Leslie got me in the wheelchair and brought me downstairs to my mom as I stood up I felt like I was gonna get sick and she immediately walked me to the bathroom, took my jacket off cause I was getting hot, and went and got Dr. Moorehead. Once i started feeling better she washed my hands for me (I was still loopy) and got me in the car and buckled me in! She was just so sweet and caring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Also the healing process is going great! Very very little pain! Great place!

Fantastic experience: My experience was absolutely the best!!! I was very unhappy with my old dentist firm because the hygienist cleaned my teeth but didn't bother flossing them which was rather odd. She was more interested in talking about her daughter and showing me pictures of her that I really wasn't interested in at all! Moorehead dentistry was top notch and very professional. Everyone was soo very nice! I highly recommend them and even made an appointment for my husband I was so impressed. I am returning to them in 6 months as well!!
