Fantastic experience: 1st visit and I was very impressed. It is very clean and comfortable. I love the dogs. They go around and just check on every one. I am set up with a plan for my needs and the MD and staff were fabulous.

Fantastic experience: I was previously a patient with South Shore Dentistry but had to find another dentist with weekend hours. I returned to them because they are the best by far! Very quick, courteous and I have never, ever felt pain from their hands. I recommend them for even the most timid. I absolutely hate the dentist but at South Shore Dentistry they always ease your fear and concerns. They explain everything in detail and allow for you to make an informative decision regarding your treatment plan. Even my daughters love them! I’ve been a patient with them for over twenty years and when I experienced health issues, they were all so caring and compassionate. The Hygienists (especially Pam and Marquise), front desk staff, Dr. Dadhania and Dr. Burt are truly awesome! Thank you for your amazing dedication to your patients

The staff is incredibly friendly, understanding, and patient, helping you get on track with your dental care and overall oral health. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I actually look forward to my visits. I can’t speak highly enough of every single staff member I’ve interacted with—they’re all phenomenal. Even the office dogs are amazing. If you’re unsure where to start, this is definitely the place.

Fantastic experience: They do great work and great customer service. It is more expensive than a chain dentist but it is worth it because you know you are getting quality work done. Also, I just had Kayla do my cleaning. She is amazing!

Negative experience: Came a few times and then had an atrocious experience with a younger female dentist who said I needed a deep groove filled. Injected local anesthetic and left the room and failed to tell me that it would increase my heart rate so sat there panicking for 10 minutes until she returned. She almost number the wrong spot and I could feel everything. Whatever she did also was done extremely incorrect. Had to return 4 times for revisions and almost a year later it is still painful & uneven.

Very professional and personable. Kayla did my cleaning she was Outstanding! I typically have anxiety about going but she made me feel at ease and was understanding.She was gentle and EXTREMELY THOROUGH! I’m so happy I decided to start going to SSD!

Fantastic experience: Kind compassionate care. They take the time to explain every step of the process, whatever they are doing … from an exam to cleaning to more complicated procedures. Today I had Zoom whitening done and I’m so pleased with the results! Jenna was great!!

Fantastic experience: I had a broken crown and was able to be seen ASAP. Had some pain and very nervous but Dr. Worden put me at ease and explained everything that needed to be done for the repair. Was given novacain before she touched the area due to the pain. Left the office very please with my brand new crown. Everyone in the office is very pleasant, friendly and professional and always greet you with a smile

Fantastic experience: I arrived early by 30 minutes and the team was extremely attentive and so thoughtful. Dr. Burt was awesome. My last Dr. said I needed a root canal immediately, and that was 2 months ago. Dr. Burt examined my X-rays and recommended we monitor as he didn’t see any cause for immediate concern. Finally!!!, I found a talented and honest Dental professional!!!!!

Fantastic experience: SS Dentistry has been excellent on all fronts. I have been going there for my dental maintenance but recently had cosmetic work done to a bonded tooth and it exceeded my expectations. Wondering why I didn’t get this fixed sooner! Also they have a Denvantage plan where you pay small amount monthly and it covers all cleanings and X-rays for the year. As a self employed individual and hospitality worker, huge bonus they have this. Thank you SS Dentistry!

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend. The treatment started with “Are you planning to be our permanent patient?” - not an ethical question especially coming from a doctor. They tried convincing me to get a new crown for 2k done instead of re-cementing the one that I already had done a year ago which was in great condition. “We can do it today on the spot” they told me after the receptionist came in and explained all the payment plans and offers. I refused to do that, and got it temporarily cemented, and it fell after a few days again. After the visit, I’ve been bombarded with requests via text and email to write a review - well there you have it.

Fantastic experience: I went in on Monday to have a toot ache looked at. A root canal was diagnosed and scheduled for Wednesday. Performed and pain free! Excellent and very quick service!

Dr. D, KC, Lauren, Mackenzie, Jenna and all of the dental assistants I have worked with over the last few years are knowledgeable, friendly, and gentle when it comes to dentistry. Negative experience: I believe I need to have the doctor look at the work that was done. I have some issues with the way My bite is not lining up And I have some pain when I chew. Fantastic experience: I have known Dr. Larry Burt for over 13 years now and I cannot say enough about how glad I met him. I have had a lot of years suffering with teeth issues and was too fearful of any dentist until I met Dr. Burt and now, I have beautiful teeth and no more fear of the dentist. truly a God Sent for me all of his staff are so friendly and professional I do have to say one thing though - on my last visit. first there was no one at the front desk right away. and second it was so LOUD in there with girls talking and laughing that another person waiting said " must be a party in there" it was very LOUD that can be a little annoying I would rather hear some soft music or something. And not all the office people talking so loudly couldn't see them but sure could hear them! other than that i will always continue my visits with South Shore Dentistry they are the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I think it's pretty universally accepted that No-one particularly jumps in excitement at the sound or call of "needing dental work"; especially when u start hear those dreaded terms "drilling" or "extraction". Luckily, Dr. D and his brilliant team of well educated, experienced, well trained and nurturing dental hygenists, front desk staff members are Incredibly skilled, welcome you w/ warmth, authentic friendliness and concern as soon as I walked thru the door and have been patient, kind, and attentive to all my needs. This crew is the full package! For most people, the above mentioned is never something pleasant or enjoyable, and even challenging for many including myself w/ very sensitive teeth, it's even more difficult. Thankfully, South Shore Dental knows exactly how to make the entire process not just bearable, but comfortable, relaxed and personable. Huge Thank you to Dr. D, Loren, and the remarkable hygenists! I called yesterday and Lauren booked me an initial exam + cleaning appointment for the following day. My hygienist, Richie, was excellent—he made everything painless and talked me through everything he was doing. Fantastic experience: They were fabulous!! My crown fell out while visiting from out of state. I called at 3pm and they got me in at 11:30 the next day. They reattached crown painlessly. It saved my trip!! The Dr twist was very kind and explained everything she did..The tech and staff were all both professional and kind!!

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the level of service my elderly mother received at this dental office. She had a scheduled appointment to repair a broken front tooth—booked over the phone with a staff member—yet when she arrived, she was told there was no record of it in their system. She even provided the exact date and time of the call, but no effort was made to take accountability for the scheduling error. They asked her to wait for an 11 am opening then took an X-ray, despite having one taken for the same issue less than two months ago. After the X-ray, instead of addressing the repair she initially scheduled this appointment for, she was asked to return two hours later, which she couldn't do because of her other obligations. This experience was not only frustrating but also deeply unprofessional, especially given the urgency and sensitivity of the procedure. She should've been treated with basic respect and care, and unfortunately, that standard was not met.

Fantastic experience: Dr. "D" was phenomenal. He took the time to understand my husband's complex health issues and potential medication interactions to determine the pre and post surgery care and best form of anaesthesia for his dental procedure. He explained in detail exactly what my husband's oral surgery would entail and provided a thorough post-surgery recap when I picked him up. He also called to ensure all was well. The post surgery instructive materials provided clear guidance for my husband's care. Dr. "D's" patience, compassion, expertise and genuine concern for his patients deserves more than five stars.Actually, he is the "North Star" by which all dentists should be judged. I cannot thank South Shore Dentistry and Dr. "D" enough for the quality of care provided and highly recommend them to anyone seeking the best dental care on the South Shore.

Keep throwing the Vacations, commissions, Bonuses, Partner Him up so he doesn’t branch off. Payment, easy no BS here it is. Pay or decline. I love that. Chief is the Best. I love that he is there. He calms the ones who are anxious that don’t even know what’s happening. Brings A Joy and a Life to the Staff and makes people interact which is nice for a change. Fantastic experience: This has to be the best dentistry in Massachusetts. Every time I visit, everyone greets me with a smile, everyone speaks to me, and I feel like I am apart of their family. I am from NC and it feels great to have a sense of home while going to the dentist. The staff is incredible. I had an issue with a bill of mine and they advocated for me, the customer. It feels good to know that good people still exist even in business. I would highly recommend them, 10/10. They are so good that I am going to them even though they are not in my network. Fantastic experience: We were referred to South Shore Dentistry because my daughter had a severe needle phobia but needed lots of dental work. Dr. D and staff at SSD were AMAZING from my daughter’s very first visit. Kind, welcoming, reassuring, and compassionate - they won her trust and mine, and helped her feel that she could overcome her fears - and she did! She has overcome her fear and is able to manage dental procedures requiring novocaine with nearly zero anxiety. I can’t thank Dr. D and his staff enough.

Fantastic experience: What a great dental office! I’m seriously anxious and I do not have dentist office armor, and I’ve let things get to where I have some work to have done. A patient like me could choose no place better: therapy dogs, kind staff, a cheerful office with a great selection of Keurig coffees and teas, and they offer varying levels of sedation. I am already loyal for life! Love the screen saver on the chair monitor with photos from the staff and pictures of the dogs. Squee!

Fantastic experience: Before my appointment I was in so much uncomfortable pain! I called hoping I could book an appointment and they were able to see me that same day, for an x-rays and an exam of the tooth that was painful. From the moment I arrived at South Shore Dentistry , the staff treated me like a princess! The front desk ladies were so welcoming and so helpful with the paperwork once it was determined that I would need to get two tooth extracted because of infection. My dentist and the dental assistant were the stars of the show and trust me I was very dramatic once I realized the reality of my situation. The ladies were very helpful and went over my options, as well as gave me the time think about what I wanted to do next post-op if I decided to go through the extraction. My procedure was unexpectedly very emotional for me but the two ladies were very accommodating and they coach me through the whole thing. I'm very grateful to everyone there who was able to help me today. I feel a million times better! The location was so big, beautiful, and clean. The staff were so polite, professional, and helpful. I will most definitely be going back and they have definitely gained a lifetime client.

Fantastic experience: I had avoided dental work for years and was embarrassed and anxious, but South Shore Dentistry welcomed me with a truly judgement-free environment! The entire staff is compassionate, professional, and kind. After a few consultations, I decided to move forward with sedation dentistry with Dr. Dadhania. I was very nervous but truly can not recommend Dr. D enough! He took the time to thoroughly explain my needs, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns. I felt like he genuinely cared about my comfort and well-being and he empowered me to take control of my own dental health. Overall, this was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. Fantastic experience: Had my first cleaning & exam here. I loved the energy I felt with the people. Pam was excellent telling me what she was going to do and helping educate me in better oral care. Dr. Amunategui was the most upbeat dentist I’ve ever met. When it was over and Pam brought me out to the check-out desk I had to refrain myself from hugging her. So glad I’ll be going to this dental office!

Fantastic experience: South Shore Dentistry is so focused on easing any anxiety, it has allowed me to get back to a routine without fear. Kudos to Kayla my hygienist who remembered that I enjoy the cotton blanket and she had it all ready for me. I was so pleasantly surprised. Additionally due to fear, I used to get numbed up even for a cleaning. Kayla has completely made me relaxed with her professionalism and kind personality that the trust I have with her has alleviated the need for novicane.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 11 years. Everyone is always so welcoming and so kind. I am also a very anxious patient but I always feel at ease the minute I walk through the door. Just seeing the staff and how they interact with each other and their patients is always so comforting. My hygienist Jenna is so nice and does an amazing job taking care of me. I love that they have support dogs Chief and Stout, the whole environment is so comforting.
