Positive experience: Kelly was a sub, helping with the shortage of hygienist. She was very good. She gave me several suggestions my regular tech never had given me. She did an excellent job. She explained everything she was doing. I did not feel like I was choking the whole time. A+ service.

Fantastic experience: My first visit, 12/3/2025, was an excellent experience. The hygienist, Madison, was very professional and knowledgeable answering all my questions. I loved her cleaning techniques and she explained her steps through the process. Dr Mac did the followup exam and noted all teeth needing to be 'watched" in the future. He was excellent and very knowledgeable as well. I am very pleased selecting MST as my new dentistry location . Thank you Rita Shuey

Fantastic experience: Dr. McAndrews replaced 2 crowns for me. He and his assistant were friendly, put me at ease immediately. Very competent and professional.

Negative experience: The women that does the Scheduling are horrible.You make an appointment and when you get there they tell that don’t have you scheduled, and they ask you do want to reschedule wasting your time. I will take my family elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Andrew and his staff are the BEST!! Dr. Andrews is such a caring and professional human and always explains step by step when performing your procedure. The front desk staff always has a smile on their face and greets you with so much kindness.

Positive experience: Dr. Nix installed the crown on my new implant for #31 yesterday. No pain, fits well. Fast work. It feels like my real tooth already.

Fantastic experience: So great! They will take good care of you. I even got a blanket when I got cold during my filling appointment. They answered all my questions and let me know what they were doing step by step.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a crown on my tooth that effected my smile. Dr. Mac sculpted free hand the temporary crown on my existing tooth. I could visually see what it was going to look like before he got started with the procedure. I have never had a dentist do that. He always goes over and beyond. I love there office always friendly and professional. Thank you Dr Mac. Got my crown 2 weeks later. I'm very pleased. Thanks again Dr. MAC.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased . Angela did a greater job cleaning my teeth and I told her of my concern about a chipped front tooth. She brought it to the attention of the dentist , Dr Byers who told me she could fix it today. She filled in the front tooth and it’s looks so good!This was a great visit!

Fantastic experience: I have been using MST Dental for all of my dental needs, for many many years. Dr. Thomson, now retired, performed several root canals and crowns. The work they have done has been highly commented on by other dentists I have visited while living out of state! The staff is wonderful and I will continue to go here! I’ve never had a bad experience with them!!!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into this dentist office everyone was so nice and caring. I have to say this is the most positive dental experience I have had by far. I am very anxious when it comes to the dentist and they have been so understanding and reassuring. Dr. Byars has been the best, she explains all that she is doing, she is kind and caring. I think I have found a dentist office I am comfortable with, hope to be a patient for a long time.

Fantastic experience: The work that is performed here is outstanding! But, I was charged for a service and not given the option to to delay (Routine Cleaning and check up) due to the fact my insurance had run out. I was not made aware of this until I was told that I would have to pay for the treatment. Then once I paid they made me aware that my insurance would renew in October! The associate that made me aware of this, then blamed another associate, who is in charge of billing, because she had been out sick. This is very poor customer service! The procedure ( routine cleaning) could have been delayed and performed After insurance was renewed, as it was not a emergency service.

Fantastic experience: I recently chipped a molar and needed to get it fixed. My wife and I are fairly new to this area, and haven’t established a new place to go for our dental care. They got me in the very next day after we called. Overall it was great experience for having a filling done. The shot was practically painless and the work was done pretty fast as well. I was pleased with Dr Clark and all the staff. My wife and I will be scheduling our cleanings and plan on making this our regular dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Did not have to Waite long and the Dental Assistant was very pleasant and made time go by fast. Dr. McAndrews was the same friendly person as usuall.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nix dental office is the best! I’ve been seeing him since I was 18 and now I’m in my 40s! My entire family goes to see him parents siblings and children, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Actually followed him from his old office in Roebuck. Now my husband has joined us at the new office in Trussville MST. Still getting excellent service all these years!

She accommodated my special needs (aversion to sonic cleaners) even though it took more time. She has a gentle touch and is very pleasant. In addition, she made a suggestion during my previous visit on a different way to brush. I followed her advice, and hardly had anu plaque buildup.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used this office for the past 30 years, BUT when my Dentist retired from the group I was super nervous about my 1st root canal! Dr. Mac had been handling my care for several years now but this was this the first invasive procedure I was going to have done with him. I can’t say enough about how well he took care of me. I had no pain or discomfort and he was very reassuring. The staff there are very friendly and accommodating as well. I highly recommend Dr Mac & MST Dental!

The receptionist and office staff are always professional yet personal with all their patients. The hygienist and assistants provide care with the ultimate professionalism, courtesy, concern and kindness as well as educating and instructing techniques for better dental care. Dr. McAndrews is absolutely the BEST. He’s not only professional, but he’s gentle, compassionate and thorough. He hunts, he cooks, but best of all, he’s a devoted Christian. I highly recommend MST.

Fantastic experience: I needed to start the process of having an old crown replaced. I was truly surprised that the deadening injection had been done—I honestly didn’t feel a thing! Lexie did an amazing job; and true to form, Dr McAndrews did as well. It’s a great place. We’re 36 years in at this practice and have never been disappointed!

Negative experience: Today was my third time going there and nothing was done. Dr. McAndrew refuses to do any work. What he does is keep referring me out to a specialist which he said he could do in the office. He had no intention to do anything today because none of his instruments were out. I will no longer go there and I am looking for a new dental office that doesn’t mind helping me. I took time off work and found a babysitter for nothing to be done. This was very inconsiderate. The staff is nice but the dentist is lazy.
