His whole staff is as well. Dr Horner speaks quietly, let's you know everything he's doing and is very gentle with his work. Dr. Horner has a gentle disposition and it makes a difference and helps to ease nerves of his patients, especially my nerves. I am a bit of a "scary cat" at the dentist, Dr, etc...therefore, I am very grateful they continuously put my mind at ease. Another plus is, there is literally no wait time. If my appointment is at 7am (which I prefer), I arrive 15 minutes early. Like clockwork, I get called back by my scheduled time. Entire staff is wonderful!

I moved away from Montgomery for a few years and when I returned and needed a dentist , Dr. Horner and all of his employees at East Taylor Dental was the only number I needed. He was my first dentist when I had to have dental care before I could have heart surgery in 1986. He has been my dentist through my last heart surgery. Let me say that this is a comfortable, yet hard working group of exceptional employees to have performing dental care. Thank you East Taylor Dental for all of your patience and gentleness.

Fantastic experience: I go here for my normal dental care. I am in the process of getting implants and I had a problem with one of my teeth. I called on Monday, got in late to see the dentist and found out my teeth was fine but my implant was swollen. I had an appointment for the 25th to have my implants installed. The dentist found out my implants were already back and decided to put them in that day, keeping me from having to wait two more weeks. From the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist, everyone was 100 percent professional and courteous. I’m retired medical military and I’ve taught customer service to many so I know what it looks like. This was outstanding service.

Fantastic experience: From routine appointments to surgical visits, East Taylor Dental is top tier! Doctors & staff are prompt and friendly. I went many years not taking care of myself or my teeth, resulting in needing some fairly extensive work to repair the damage. I always worry about ‘what they will think’ or ‘if they’re going criticize me’ and I was treated with compassion & zero judgement. They also have tons of new technology at their disposal, so they can do tons of things in house instead of sending things to a lab to be made. Over the years, I have had anywhere from routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, wisdom tooth extractions, to tissue grafts and the care has always been exceptional!

Positive experience: The only reason I gave this Dental office 3 stars is because they have amazing Dental Assistants and office staff. I am writing this review about my experience with Dr. Horner. He is not very personable at all. Initially, he seemed to be professional and caring. But after several appointments he began to exhibit a demeaning attitude and only seems to care about getting paid. At one of my appointments he tried to perform three procedures that was not necessary or part of my plan. I still have problems with some of the work he performed on my mouth. Also, he would become very confrontational if I questioned or was not comfortable with a certain procedure. Avoid this Dental Office at all cost, especially if you are a Veteran. He does not appear to have your best interest at heart and is only concerned about getting paid. Totally, disappointed with Dr. Horner!

Fantastic experience: East Taylor Dental has gotten 10/10 from me for all the many years I've been a patient here (over 10 years). My hygienist, Stephanie, is the absolute best and Dr. Horner is always pleasant and smiling! Even through COVID, they were AWESOME!! I've never had any complaints-- even when I had a billing dilemma, they worked to help rectify the issue so patiently and kindly. Fantastic experience: I have been with East Taylor Dental for 5+ years now. I have had extensive dental work due to a chronic disease and chronic pain. I am always made comfortable. My doctor works with my anxiety, and works to calm me throughout my procedures. I love that my veneers are made as I am in the chair, and eliminates temporary. This practice goes over and beyond in service and atmosphere. I am always called back in a timely manner. I wouldn't give up my dentist for anything in this world.
