Fantastic experience: After seeing this dentist and practice on Facebook and Instagram i decided to give them a call about a bad tooth. The 1st contact was with a very lovely woman who was both compassionate and professional. She answered my myriad of questions and made me feel good about my choice. Upon arrival I was met with the kindest staff, cutest office, and the dentist came right out and greeted me. He asked me some questions and said "ok let's do this". He was such a Rockstar.. he eased my anxiety immediately. The whole process was smooth and quick. His team of assistants were all so adorable and so very kind. I have finally found my forever dentist team. If you're in need of the best most patient kind adorable team of professionals I whole heartdly recommend them. Even the music was awesome. Oh and I got some fresh fruit off of 1 of the staffs fruit trees! Seriously, just the best. Thank you, Dr. Lisa M from your 9am extraction appointment.

Negative experience: This place is very pushy pushing you to get work. You do not need done on your teeth.. it’s all about money and I did not feel the people genuinely care about doing the work that truly needs to be done on your teeth. I found one dentist in Vacaville that is honest that does not push work on you. That does not need to be done just to make money in this place is not it. I would not waste your time and I would find somewhere else to go highly recommend Vaca Valley dental.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a crown on my front tooth break and fall out. I immediately made an appointment with my dentist that I have been going to for several years. After the consultation it was recommended that I extract my original tooth and get an implant. They stated that another doctor will come in to complete the procedure. I initially agreed but began researching the doctor that they were going to bring in and couldn’t really find anything. That is how I came across Pena Adobe Dental. From the first phone call, Dr. Takher and his entire team were very transparent and knowledgeable. They took the time to review and Dr. Takher stated that he specializes in implants and would try to keep my original tooth with a different type of procedure. In result I felt more comfortable and walked away knowing the ins and outs of what was being done. I decided to go with them and am very satisfied with the progress, constant follow up and the results.

Fantastic experience: Hello Dr.Tahker, I just thought you’d like to know that after you removed the infected tooth in my mouth my autoimmune disease went away completely. I officially no longer struggle with Hyper thyroid/Graves disease. Thank you for your honest suggestion in taking it out instead of doing work to it. I do believe that if the molar would have stayed, I wouldn’t have had such a fast recovery in terms of my autoimmune disease. In addition to my autoimmune disease going away completely I also became pregnant and soon to give birth. I became pregant shortly after having the tooth removed, which I couldn’t do for years because of my disease. I can’t express how thankful I am for the service you provided. The staff were also very supportive and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone who’s skeptical of dental offices and having work done.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best dental office ever!! The doctor saw me the day of my emergency. I cracked half my tooth off and they all stayed late to make sure I could get a temporary crown before I went out of town for Christmas the next day. I love their energy and the way they have fun together while working. It was a peaceful vibe, and I was not anxious like I usually am when going to the dentist. All in all, they did an excellent job and have earned themselves a new patient!

Positive experience: I have been a patient at Dr. Takher's office for many years. I have received crowns, implants and dentures and continue for denture maintenance. The care and attention to detail is outstanding. A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. And they do accept most insurance. Nobody's perfect, but these guys really try.

Negative experience: I have always been able to schedule my next appointment for 6 months out with every dentist that I have went to , my last visit I was told to call back in 3 months to book my appointment because they have too many people booked, not sure what’s up with that but as a current and returning patient that was off putting .

Fantastic experience: Let me sum this up for you as quickly as possible. I drive from Tracy to Fairfield to see Dr. Takher. This place is in a league of its own. Absolute top notch technology, friendly and efficient staff. Just a super positive aura. Consider this. You most likely drive an hour to work each day if you live in the Bay Area. It takes me 1:20 to get to Fairfield and I only have to go there twice a year (knock on wood). Well worth it. A dentist is not a convenience store. They’re not all equal. They don’t all have the same stuff. Don’t settle for your local dentist just because they’re close to you.

Fantastic experience: This has been on my mind and I am sharing now. Awhile ago my wife went in to get some work done on here teeth before leaving town for a month. It was a fairly invasive procedure. When my wife wasn't recovering as I thought she should I confront Dr. Amani with resentment. Instead of escalating the situation, Dr. Amani stayed calm and took ownership. Dr. Amani resolved the issues my wife was having. All throughout this (before and after I confronted him) he was checking up on my wife's condition showing he truly cared about her well being. I appreciate what he did for her. On another note I would like to add that you are always greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had to go in to get a tooth pulled. Called them on Tuesday morning, and they were able to get me in on Thursday. I hate going to the dentist, or the hospital. I'm a dude, I don't go to get fixed until I am in too much pain. I seriously had the best experience ever. The ladies there made me feel like I have been going there forever (it was my first time there) and the Doc made me feel like my old school buddy was yanking my tooth. I highly recommend this place. As he moves on to the next smiling patient, you are satisfied with your interaction and when the numbness wears off. NO PAIN.! Excellent dentist. Im 68 and i don't like going to the dentist! Except this one.

Negative experience: I tried going to this dentist based on their being voted #1 in Solano County for dentistry. Unfortunately, I realized that it is nothing more than a popularity contest that they won. They posted inside their office, please vote for us to be # 1 again and the link. That’s great, we get it, this is the age of self promotion. But for those older and less experienced with technology it is less likely for them to get high votes. Really the experience in a place is what matters. While going to this dental office for only a brief period I found that many of staff were unprofessional and unkind. Early on when I expressed that it was nice that Dr Takher explains everything and talks to his patients and makes them feel comfortable one staff member at the front desk said he talks too much. Then when having pain in my teeth, after having had some work done there and having had a confirmed last minute appointment, one of the staff took it upon herself to cancel my appointment via text message. When I called to explain that I was in so much pain I really needed to come in after having some work done and something was really wrong, she said well you need to wait it out. I had waited serval days and it wasn’t getting better. I was practically in tears I was in so much pain. Whoever was at the front desk didn’t even consult with the dentist, she was just trying to make a decision herself. Now the front desk people, I get it, are knowledgeable, but they should not try to diagnose the patient themselves, that’s why there is a dentist. She finally agreed to let me come in later that day. Then she told me when I got there, “oh, I didn’t want you think we didn’t want to see you.” (What? Really, then why cancel my appointment? And why would you not want to see me? Is this supposed to be a professional’s office? Isn’t that why there are there… to help people in need?) Then when the dentist made a decision with regard to my care, his assistants didn’t seem to agree. So they went behind his back and told me to do something different than what the actual dentist had just suggested after he walked away. I’m sorry, but it the staff can’t show respect for the dentist there is something wrong. Then the assistant told me to call and tell her what the endodontist said if I end up seeing one, regardless of what he said. (I’m the patient not the messenger, if they needed to know anything about my care they would find out if I needed a crown.) While I know that sometimes we all have bad days, I felt mistreated more than once by more than one person on the staff. Including the dentist when he raised his voice to me once. I had to go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Takher and his staff are wonderful. From speaking with Shilpa on the phone to my cleaning with Aileen they put you at ease in a beautiful office! I can’t wait for my husband to meet the team.

Fantastic experience: After searching for a good dentist I am completely sure that I have found it. I was impressed with other people's comments and they were right, because as soon as I walked in I felt welcomed by everyone. I have had very bad experiences in other places, painful and stressful experiences and I was extremely nervous, I just let myself be guided by the comments of others and I decided to make my first appointment and I am happy with that decision. I had a nice experience with Dr. Amani Takher, DMD. He explained to me in great detail what I needed and I no longer feel so nervous for my next appointment. Thank you!

From the ambiance of the office as you walk in, the friendly receptionists, the staff that treated you very professionally, the high tech equipments, to the very handsome and awesome dentist that knows exactly what is the best treatment plan for you. No wonder this practice has been voted the best dental office for so many years. I wull surely recommend to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Pena Adobe Dental is simply the best dental office with the friendliest and most kind staff! After moving to California and researching for the dentist in the area, I found Dr. Takher and never looked back! He is amazing at what he does and super honest! You won’t have to pay for any unnecessary dental work there! Every time I visit Pena Adobe Dental I feel like I’m going to the spa! That is how I get treated by all the employees there and I would recommend this place to everyone!
