Fantastic experience: I was someone who was literally terrified of the dentist but since coming to see Dr. Jake Mimms he has eased that fear for me. He listened to my fears and has been wonderful in explaining everything and has been gentle every visit I’ve had with him to get a lot of work done from years of not doing to the dentist. I’m so glad I made the decision to come here!

Fantastic experience: Awesome service. I was experiencing some excruciating tooth pain. They were able to get me in same day, find the problem, and set a plan in place. Because it was my wisdoms tooth, the referred me for the procedure and prescribed me meds to help with the pain. Everyone was absolutely amazing. So much so, my husband has an appointment Tuesday.

The office is clean, cute and has homey vibes. The staff are all great. They’re kind, thorough, actually speak to you about your treatment plan, and try their absolute best to give you all available options while also respecting your financial budget. They will give you different resources and referrals if need be and the dentists’ spend enough time speaking to you about treatment.

Called about my broken sharp tooth about 12:30 same day they made a Apointment for me for 3 pm , Got in Met the team of Kind , smiling helpful professionals, He smother off my tooth advised not to pull it , scheduled a future crown for the following Week Happy Happy I believe I've got a new Dentist ✨️ 20 star rating Well here i am again.... Negative experience: The prices are outrageous for non-insured. Jake did not seem to know what he was doing and I was there for 1.5 hours for an extraction. He had to numb me 3 times and I still felt pain and he seemed unconcerned with my discomfort during after care. Would not recommend him in particular.

Fantastic experience: Update, October 2025: been back for several cleanings and check ups, Complete Dental is still providing the best and friendliest service I’ve encountered in North Alabama dentistry! I plan to trust them with my dental health needs for a long time. From the initial phone call to the procedure and all interactions in between, I’m impressed and pleased with the service and bedside manner of the professionals at Complete Dental of Meridianville. I had an emergency, they scheduled a quick appointment and even moved it up when space became available. They explained everything up front and at all times I felt safe and in good care. And they made me laugh. I’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic experience: 10/14/25 Had a dibridment done today by Tia. She was calm and understood my anxiety. She was able to remove all the debris and confirmed with an Xray. Dr. Cody came in and examined my bad teeth. He also understood my anxiety and said we can work through this. The receptionist was calm and greeted us and also informed us well what the next steps are for my treatment. I am absolutely thrilled with my experience and again the love I felt from every one in a professional and kind manner was shown. They care about my dental health. They care about prevention. They do not scam. They are real and authentic and genuine.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time in my life I have ever gone to a dentist, believe that or not! Both times I have gone to Complete Dental in Meridianville and Dr Jake Mims dealt with me both times. The first time I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled that had broken off and he took his time and did not rush through at all and I did not feel a thing or hear a thing. I had no pain during or after the extraction. The second time I went was yesterday and it was also an emergency situation. I had no insurance and no money, and all I did was text them and tell them what was going on and how much pain I was in and they saw me anyway and told me they would bill me for the visit. He did not pull my tooth because I plan to get insurance in a couple of weeks, but he took x-rays and gave me antibiotics and plenty of pain medication to get me through and I am so so appreciative of that! Dr Mims is very passionate about what he does and he cares for his patients! Not only does he care for his patients and is very passionate about his job, his whole staff is the same way! Everyone Smiles at you, greets you, and they remember me from the last time I was there which was a whole year ago! LOL I definitely recommend going to this office!

Fantastic experience: I’m going to start off by saying I absolutely hate going to dentist. But I had an emergency and they were able to get me in the next day. The dentist and his assistant were amazing, they made me comfortable and explained what they were doing and why. The front office staff is also amazing and very knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. I had a ton of questions and they patiently answered everything I asked. I will be coming back. I felt like they heard me and were understanding about my fear in general and helped me by listening and explaining things to me in a way I could understand. 11/10 recommend!!!!

Complete Dental Meridianville was able to give me an appointment right away, assess my situation and schedule treatment. Positive experience: Lobby is extremely clean and modern A+. Jackie who cleaned my teeth did an awesome job A+ The dentist was very thorough with his findings. I had to tune out the fact that he looked fresh out dental school and my preference is for someone with a more mature experienced eye, however I’m open to give him a chance lol. The receptionist/ insurance billing person etc… Did a great job printing my scheduled plan of action to include the dollar amounts. But was clear in stating my history of dental work & dates shes not aware so the price is subject to change in regards to my insurance coverage. I’m kinda accustomed to a more direct amount due to her obtaining that info is a simple phone call/email to the insurance provider, especially considering that the Lobby was empty. (She had time today) Well all of the info was given as thoroughly as she said she had access to. Needless to say the info was given ‍♀️ However the lack of privacy where you receive your cleanings and dental work will take a serious adjustment YOU HAVE NO PRIVACY AT ALL from the time your sit down right to your doctors over view at the end. So if you can get past the all of this, your experience will be great!! The dentist personality however was quite down to earth / whimsical yet professional lol Before I give him a complete review I need to experience his work. In the middle of his work if he starts rapping a cool M&M lyric or Justin B. It’s ok as long as his work is phenomenal!! ‍♀️
