Negative experience: The first thing I am upset about is, I had a filling done here while I was pregnant at Elevate and I just had to have a crown put on it because all the decay was not drilled out, so I had to have the tooth crowned, and the adjacent tooth suffered also, and needed to be filled. Also I was sent to dove sleep centre for a sleep study. I arrived, they were rude telling me I was early when I showed up right when they told me. I got into my room, I had asked for more pillows because I am pregnant and uncomfortable and they told me they did not have any. I then pointed out the pillow case, there was a yellow crusty mark on the pillow, I simply asked for another pillow case, they didn't have any he said. I showed him the pillow, and he promptly got me another pillowcase. When I pulled off the pillowcase to change it, the pillow was sweat stained. They are not properly washing the beds. The mattress was also super uncomfortable and I asked to leave and they said to bill me I need to stay. I ended up leaving "Before they could bill me" and they still billed me. The doctor tells me I have apnea, but I am not quite sure how they can make this assumption with 1 hours worth of sleep. He tells me I don't have much more apnea than the typical person but then recommends a cpap? I am 30 years old, healthy and 5"2 and 125 LB. I am suspicious about this diagnosis and do not trust them at all. I was not going to write this review, but I am really upset that my filling done here was mishandled. A few months ago, before I had to get this tooth crowned, I was going to book with them for my regular cleaning, and I asked for someone to call me back and nobody did. Because of that, I found a new dentist, and I am sure glad I did. I was told I would need my implant removed (which is hugely invasive) I told them it was bugging me while I was pregnant, and they said it needs to come out but did not do anything (I was like 6 months pregnant at the time) @ 9 months pregnant, it was bugging me so much that I called them and asked them what I should do and they booked me to have it taken out. Keep in mind, the removal of an implant can actually break of shatter the jaw. the DAY I had my appointment booked for the dentist to have this removed while I was heavily pregnant, I actually ended up In the hospital due to a birth complication, so I never got it removed. After my birth, the tooth pain has totally resolved, and since then, my new dentist has since sent me to a periodontist. The periodontist has assured me that the implant does NOT need to come out, thank goodness. They torqued it and it is not moving, therefore it is not failing, like they told me it was @ elevate. I know each dentist has their own opinions but removing an implant is a very invasive and expensive procedure, and it seems like there was no careful evaluation on how to move forward with that, they simply jumped to wanting to pull it out.

Fantastic experience: I've had full denture for over 20 years. Dr. P just rebuilt my upper & lower set and they fit perfectly, best fit in 20 years

Fantastic experience: Okay, this place is the absolutely move! I am typically not a fan of the but this place was absolutely incredible in all aspects. From the friendly welcoming staff to the style and design of the office, all of the modalities that they offer the knowledge of the doctors. It was all absolutely just priceless. Not only was I given a little welcome tote bag that's personalized with elevate smile design on it, but I was provided a comforting warm cloth with essential oils of choice on it for during my exam. So glad I chose to come here!

Fantastic experience: My son loves getting his teeth clean by Hailey, Both her and Dr. Mai are so kind, they explain and taught him a lot about his teeth. Great atmosphere! Everyone is so welcoming. Whitney was amazing, Lindsay and all the treatment coordinators very welcoming. We love this place so much that we come all the way from Arizona to get our dental care.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth extraction and was nervous. Between all the little extras like the aromatherapy and blanket. The staff from front to back was so kind and friendly. I felt like I was listened to about past experiences that were not great and was made to feel comfortable. I coming back in a couple months for my first cleaning with them as my new dentist. Have already told my Tacoma friends to check them out.

When it came time for my treatment it was excellent, the technician explained what I should expect and listened to my concerns. When Dr Perlman treated me the excellence continued. In the beginning of October I came in for the PRP microneedling with laser done by Jessica. Wow!! The results were fabulous I seen results just after one treatment. Jessica is an absolute excellent esthetician. Can’t wait for my 2nd treatment.

Fantastic experience: Most people put off going to dentist, I look forward to my appointments. Dr Perlman and Dr Mai really do care about their patients. From the moment you walk in, to when you leave, you are treated great. They have all the latest tech, a comfort menu, the family dog and a great looking practice. Everyone acknowledges me by name. I feel like I’m walking into the cheers bar. I would highly recommend to everyone. I’ve had a pretty big surgery and have been working with Dr Perlman. He really takes his time to explain all my options, everything he’s doing and to answer all my questions. But get this, he texted me around 9:30 pm after my big surgery to ask how I was doing. How many dentist do that?… I won’t go anywhere else. You can’t make me. Update: today I had an emergency, called them and they squeezed me in. This has happened before also and they always made time to see me.

From walking in and making my appointment, to even just figuring out a payment solution and a long term plan before I left, these people were amazing. If you're wondering if this is a good place to come for the first time, do not hesitate. This place is amazing and I am very grateful that this was the place I decided to go to. 11/10 experience.

Learned about Elevate Smile Design & Sleep Wellness from a Facebook Ad for Invisalign & just two days later, I was able to come in for a comprehensive orthodontic exam. The facility was so luxe & clean! Angelina gave me a tour & made me feel welcomed & did a fantastic job at performing my dental photographs/xrays/digital scans. Dr. Mai was so incredibly sweet & detailed with what the treatment plan would look like & answered all of my questions & sealed the deal with her knowledge. Lindsey, on the administrative staff was very thorough when going over the payment options for my investment! Without hesitation, I knew I was going to move forward with them- not just because of their knowledge, but because of the elevated experience in the facility. My next appointment is scheduled just a few days from now & I can’t wait to have that million dollar smile. Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience, Dr. Huang thoroughly explained what was happening with my tooth and the pain. More than willing to answer any questions, even if they were repetitive . From the moment I walked in the whole team was welcoming and sweet. You don’t find many offices like this one. Angelina my dental assistant was very cautious of causing me any more pain, and Lindsey was relatable and nothing short of the absolute best! This will be my dental office from here on out. Fantastic experience: Elevate Dental I give a million stars. They are by far the best around. I went in a nervous wreck and came out as content as could be. The staff here are very professional and treat you with the utmost respect. Your needs are taken care of to the fullest. Now my dentest, Dr.Huang, wow, just awesome. I had a tooth that really gave him trouble trying to pull it out, eventually he was able to get it out. I've never been to a dentist who made sure thru the whole procedure that I was ok and that I was not in any pain. If I needed a break, he gave it to me. I would recommend him to anyone. Fantastic experience: I went on 12 May 2025 for a complimentary visit for dental sleep hardware and facial esthetics at Elevate Design Smiles. I was very impress how friendly the staff was. They were very welcoming and helpful in every way to make me comfortable and treated in the utmost high regards. Everyone I encountered (Dr Perlman, Jenny, Jessica and Dr My) explained each step and process they were doing or what I will be facing. All were easy to understand and talk to. They explained every questions and concerns I had on my upcoming procedure. The facility was very clean and tighty. The air was so soothing with the aroma of essential oils filling the room. I was very impress and definitely will recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Dr Perlman and staff for making me feel welcomed!

Fantastic experience: The people at Elevate Smile are truly respect, caring, and sensitive to their clients needs. They LISTEN! They are interested in our health, care, and keeping. They work with us in our need/s for financing, insurance etc. I FEEL comfortable after having walked through the door, and especially is this true when I sit in the treatment room. They are open to discussion to help ones relax. No rush! I appreciate the comrodery among the staff. It's a joy to know each of them and feel a sense of kinship. Dr's Pearlman, and Mia set the pace, and have a well managed staff. My hat is off to them.

Fantastic experience: I have never heard of this place before today and I wish I had. I was referred to their office for solutions to my sleeping problem and snoring issues. Everything about this place was friendly, comfortable, relaxing and they go out of their way to give you a very good experience no matter what you are in there for. We all had good jokes to share and laughed a bunch and it's the first dentist that actually made me smile, All other dentists just made it possible to smile. Haha! I am going to switch my entire family over to this dentist office as they have my trust in one visit.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness where do I even begin. When I set up an appointment with them I didn't know what to expect. My father goes through them and he spoke very highly of them, but I have a huge fear of dentists just in general but also from my overall experience with dentists in the past and I've seen a handful of dentists because of my issues in the past and most of them were not good. I personally have lost four bottom teeth and could not find a dentist who could figure out the reason or could send me in the right direction to get them replaced or set up a plan to get a flipper or implants or even just a care plan in place for my overall dental health. With elevate smile design, The folks here were outstanding I was taken back with how fancy everything was, but also with how nice everyone was with how they wanted to make me as comfortable as possible, The fact that they have a dog Mickey who is as sweet as can be helped a lot. They worked with me to be able to replace my bottom teeth with a flipper to give me my smile back. They restored not only my smile, but my confidence and my trust in going into the dentist. I cried the day I went there for the first time I actually cried happy tears at the dentist. I don't think I've ever done that before. I was able to get my flipper 30 hours after I got my consultation. Within the following day I had my new smile. And I cried again!! These folks were so amazing so heartfelt, so caring and they actually cared for my overall health. It genuinely was not about money. They really care for your health and that is HUGE. They genuinely care for your confidence within yourself. They treat you like family. I was a new person and felt loved and felt so cared for. If you take away how fancy this place is and all the extra amenities that they can give you, It's their demeanor and how they treat you as an individual and as a patient that will make you keep coming back. I have never had an experience at a dentist office as I had here. Dr Mai and her husband are fantastic, their team was phenomenal. If I could give them 100 stars out of five I would. Also I loved how thorough they were in explaining everything to me especially if I got confused, I have comprehension issues because I'm on the spectrum and they made it very easy for me to understand billing between them and insurance they also made it easy for me to understand the process of getting my flipper as well as potentially getting permanent implants later on down the road. If you are looking for a dentist that will take care of you for the long run I highly recommend them. I'm sorry my review is so long, but I swear there's not enough words in the world that can express how this place is and how they all made me feel as an individual being there. I actually look forward to go back there again. Thank you guys so much for restoring my confidence and my smile, and also my trust in dentists. You guys are amazing. You guys do wonderful work. Life-saving work literally!!!

Positive experience: Went in to have extractions. Almost walked out of the office because the treatment wasn't what was wanted. But then we met Lindsey who was amazing in advocating for me on what I wanted. And explained everything well and helped tremendously in helping us find out was going to work for us financially. She was amazing

Fantastic experience: Stepping into the dentist's office, I was greeted by a warm smile from the receptionist, instantly putting me at ease. The waiting area was bright and welcoming, adorned with colorful artwork and comfortable seating. Soft music played in the background, creating a calming atmosphere. Overall, it’s always been a great experience going to elevate smile.

Fantastic experience: In the beginning, I had a slight toothache so I logged onto their website to make an appointment for 5 days out. The following day, my toothache was a lot worse so I emailed to see if they could see me sooner. They could, that day! I went in at 10:00 a.m. to see what was going on. When I went through the doors, I was immediately greeted. She checked me in and confirmed I did all of the online paperwork. I was all set. She then handed me a list to choose from...things to make my experience more comfortable...things like: weighted blanket, stress ball, incense & more! From there, have a seat in the lobby and someone will come get you momentarily. If you want it, there are teas, coffee, and various waters available. I was taken to the back and around 5 minutes... I provided a brief description as to what was going on and they took a couple of x-rays. The doctor came in, looked and did a little test, what show did I need a root canal. She gave me a referral and sent me to the checkout desk. The lady at checkout was super sweet, she called the endodontist and asked when they could actually get me in...So now I have an appointment next week to get the root canal done. Since I wasn't a patient of this place to begin with, she then asked me if I would like to become an established patient and have them as my preferred dentist. I said yes, so she started that paperwork for me.... she said she could go ahead and get me scheduled for a new patient exam & asked when I'd like, she even offered up a 1:00 p.m. appointment (which was 20 minutes away at the time!). I took it. Just means I didn't have to come back later in the day or another day. So I went back to the front lobby, hung out for a little bit until they came to get me for a new patient exam. We did all of the x-rays and a 3D rendering of my mouth. The doctor came back in and did her full exam on me which of course I know that I needed a deep cleaning. Luckily for me, my insurance allows for my entire mouth to be done at once! I was then asked when I would like to come in for that but then they offered to do it right then and there. I took that opportunity! I was at the dentist from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.! (And that's what I wanted... if they could have done the root canal while I was there, I would have taken that too!) While I was sitting in the dentist chair, they gave me some headphones and laid me back in the chair. Directly above me, is a tv. They gave me a remote & I watched Netflix for the next 2 hours. All in all, I really enjoyed this experience. It is nice that they offer so many different things to make your experience more calming. I'm glad they're my preferred dentist now. ♡♡

Fantastic experience: Dr.Perlman and the entire team there have always been very patient with me and Made me feel safe at the dentist! I have horrible dental anxiety and knowing that there is options it help made the experience a whole lot better. The options provided to ensure you feel the best you can while being at the dentinst truly seems like it is one of the things they care most about. Which should jsut prove that their number one priority is take care of you the patient as a human and not just more numbers and money to put in a book. I have since recommended my family members here and they all love it as well. I’m sure we will all be going to elevate for our dental care for some time to come.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a while so I was a bit nervous but they made sure I was doing okay all along the way and were quick to stop if I needed a break. Dr. Perlman is easy to talk to and doesn’t make you feel judged. The front desk staff Litausha, and Lindsey have been easy to work with for scheduling further appointments! All around great place!

Fantastic experience: Everyone dreads going to a dentist it’s normal. Not at Elevate you almost want to make excuses to go. They treat you like Royalty. Dr Perlman and Dr. Mai know how to treat people. The entire staff from the time you come in to the time you leave are nothing but the best. Receptionists greet you with smiles, ask you about making your stay more enjoyable. Have had young lady’s ask me if they can make me coffee, tea, or get me some water. You can enjoy relaxation therapy while having teeth cleaned. The hygienists and dental techs are just amazing. They take the time to talk to you make you feel comfortable and explain everything they are doing. Hailey and Janice are only two of the great people I have interacted with in the back. Both get 10/10. This place wants you to be comfortable and have a good experience. My entire family has been going to them now and we have never once had a bad experience. Calming, welcoming, and observant of your needs. Looking for a dentist? Make an appointment and go in to see them. You might be surprised at how welcoming and friendly they are, you won’t be disappointed with anything they do.

Fantastic experience: At first, I felt uncertain about attending my consultation appointment today. In the past, I had faced disappointment at other places because the costs were very high. However, I decided to take a leap of faith and attend the appointment anyway. Once I arrived, I met two wonderful doctors, Dr. Huang and Dr. Perlman. They explained the various treatment options available to me and provided a detailed overview of the proposed treatment plan. Although I may not be able to afford the costs right now, I left the appointment feeling hopeful about my options for the future.

They take their time with you, explain every detail of your procedure your wanting and they answer all your questions so everyone is on the same page.while waiting you have beverage choices and afterwards a hot towel to pat your face. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Perlman and his team since the practice was Spanaway Dental Wellness - at least 5+ years. The quality of care has never changed. Everyone is always kind, caring and hilarious, and I feel like they actually have real concern for their patients. My husband and kids have all their dental work here too, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to family or friends. Definitely the only dentist I have ever ENJOYED going to see, and that’s huge for someone who has horrid dental anxiety like me!

I was seeking a consultation about Botox for my migraines and was treated with so much compassion and expertise by both Dr. Mai and Lexi, her assistant. The girls up front (Hayley & Bethany) were both beyond helpful and their presence was calming as well. I HIGHLY recommend Elevate for anything related to Botox or cosmetic treatments. My dental work is very complex, and these guys made me feel like it was nothing, just a walk in the park..(when really I knew I was a big deal) I cannot explain how calm they made me feel, in my most hated place to go! Seriously each and every staff member were AMAZING! The front desk was so sweet and professional, and I want to Specifically point out Janice & Lindsey, they are my favorite! Janice literally makes your comfort her personal project EVERY step of the way! I mean she even put my nose ring back in for me!! Who else does that?! Janice is a treasure! Lindsey & I could have talked forever, she explains the money side of it & gives you so many options/details! Dr.P totally knows what he’s doing and also takes your comfort personal too! Their space is so aesthetically pleasing and calming.. Every room, and every hallway! I wish I would’ve taken pictures, you have to check them out to see what I’m talking about!!! I’ve already told everyone I know!!!! This is by far the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had, and I’m actually very excited to go back in 2 weeks! ♥️♥️

My first visit was scheduled on very short notice after one of my fillings (done by another office) broke, leaving a hole in the back of a molar. The front desk team went above and beyond to accommodate me, fitting me in the same day and ensuring I had enough time with the doctor to address my issue. Their service was warm, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. I was treated by Dr. Huang, with Krystina as his assistant during my first appointment. Krystina was fantastic—she gave me a tour of the office, helped with X-rays, and prepared everything for Dr. Huang. Her bedside manner was impeccable, and I loved how communicative and attentive she was throughout the process. She even briefed Dr. Huang on the purpose of my visit and shared personal details I had mentioned, which made the experience feel personalized and seamless. Dr. Huang was exceptional. As someone with TMJ and a history of not-so-great dental experiences, I was nervous, but he made the entire process smooth and pain-free. My tooth was fixed with precision, and for the first time, my jaw wasn’t in pain after a dental visit. The way the team communicates internally is top-notch, allowing for quick and informed decisions. They also adapt their communication style to suit your preferences—whether you want all the details or a straight-to-the-point summary. By the time I returned to the front desk, I felt like I was leaving new friends. Lindsey and Bethany at the front office were incredible, ensuring I understood every aspect of my visit and going above and beyond to set me up for success with future appointments. My second visit was just as impressive. Lexi made the start of my appointment so fun and comfortable, and Haley patiently answered all my questions, even using visuals to help me fully understand the next steps. Once again, Dr. Huang exceeded all expectations with his skill and care.
