Fantastic experience: Aadland took great care of me! 24 hour appointment reminder (via text, awesome), Super friendly personnel, appointment started right on time, insurance was worked out via text beforehand, and of course they did a great job on my checkup and cleaning. 5 bright white stars.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist has made my anxiety only get worse as I get older. Dani was amazing with my teeth cleaning and communicated throughout the whole process which made me feel more comfortable. Dr. Nicole addressed all my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that helped me build trust back with dentists. I’m so glad I found this dentist office and will be a forever patient!

Fantastic experience: I needed a crown replacement and a partial new crown. I was given the run around at a different Dental office for 6 weeks so I decided to go to Aadland Dental instead. Called yesterday (Monday), got in today (Tuesday) for a check up/consultation. I was more than satisfied with their knowledge and explanation of what to do. I'm scheduled for tomorrow morning to get a new crown replacement. They have an in house lab and was told the process would take around 3 hours. I'm so excited and so very impressed. I will be moving my entire family to Aadland Dental.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to go all stuff is friendly and very approachable. In over all they are nice dental clinic I never had any problem in the past except in my last visit. I had an appointment for cleaning and I had wait for a while for the doctor to come, it was all good and when the doctor came in she checked my teeth and recommend some things need to be done and it was ok. But she never give me a chance to ask question and she never ask me if I have a question to the things needs to be done it seems she is in a hurry.

THIS is the place you have been looking for!! Hygienist Emily was absolutely superb. Best hygienist appointment that I have had in my entire life...(and Second Place is not particularly close). Emily was just so kind, upbeat. AND simply ultra-talented. I kept having to remind myself that I was supposed to. HATE this part of the dental appointment. Huge props to Emily. Doctor McKay....equally impressive. I really appreciated her warm and engaging professional manner. This place is just such a breath of fresh air. Decent and professional people in every role...seemingly very happy to be doing what they do best.

Fantastic experience: Aadland is the BEST!!! I will forever be indebted to Dr. Ostensen for taking a big chunk of her weekend (with out-of-state guests visiting!) to rescue me from a very painfully broken tooth. Everyone I've encountered at this practice is extremely caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Jen is a terrific hygienist. I couldn't be happier with the care I've received at Aadland and they were wonderful with my kids too. HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic experience: Today I had a cleaning & discussed some cosmetic work I’ve been wanting to do. First of all, can I say how nice it is not to completely dread a dental visit!! Never thought I’d be able to make that statement!! I absolutely love this team of caring ladies. I’ve been a patient here for a few years and had some crown work done. In all honesty every visit feels comfortable and easy. I have an auto immune disease which can make for a rough go in a dental chair given very sensitive gums & teeth. Chelsea, my hygienist today was very gentle, kind and caring and checked several times to make sure I was comfortable - doing ok, nothing hurting. She was personable, understanding and took the time to listen to my concerns, & encouraged me with the decision to move forward on some additional work. Dr. Jenna joined in and made me feel totally comfortable and excited about the next steps. She was also very personable, genuine & super sweet! From the moment you walk in warmly greeted by the receptionist to the time you check out with Holli these gals make the experience feel like you’re visiting people who actually care about you. Fantastic experience: Efficient, On Time, Thorough and Personable. Was having some pain in my tooth. Asked to get in ASAP because I was going to travel. They got me in the same day. Did an X-ray, checked out the problem tooth and the prognosis was simply some food particles trapped under the gum. I was on my way, confident that I shouldn’t have a problem while I’m on vacation. A wonderful staff. So glad to have them as my go to dental care provider.

Fantastic experience: I'm dealing with a bit of a dental emergency and they got me right in. Dr. McKay and her assistant went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and dealt with my situation in the most professional way that I ever could have expected. Aadland is a first class operation all the way around!

Negative experience: Saw Dr McKay.Just really not sure what's going on. My bite guard was adjusted and is too loose. It was suggested I go to a smaller office because I was nervous about all the conflicting input I get in the big office. The small office didn't take my insurance. I want my insurance money back.I'm calling the Company. I am elderly/ disabled. I can't afford to go from dentist to dentist, but felt like she didn't really want to do this filling. In her profile she said she liked dealing with nervous people. I couldn't see it. I mean, she was nice enough, she just made me nervous.I have a tooth that is really suffering. I really think she was more nervous of me than vice versa. I'm tired of trying to make everyone feel comfortable when I myself am extremely nervous. I can't go on and on about whether my Ativan still works, and what drugs do I need to get through it. That is scary to me. I lose my confidence. I wanted to know how long the procedure would take, and what was involved. I've done fillings before and made it through OK, with Dr. Wendel. He's retired. I had my paperwork done long before I came in. I forgot about that. The office kept sending me texts to do my paperwork. I came in early for that. They said it was already done. Now I have to find another office, it looks like. I can't really wait on this...

Got a crown from start to finish in 1.5 hours…AND my body was resisting the Novocain. They persevered and made sure I was good and numb, then got the job done!

Negative experience: a most "toxic" Dr Jekle-Hyde personality, unethical behavior for a dentist. was a client approx 2 years, mainly for cleanings. when finally in the dentist chair, she ignored my severe pain on two visits, caused me nerve problems and would not refund my money when I showed her Urgent Care report. She falsified medical records to cover herself throughout my fittings. As a dentist, one expects integrity and competency, as a business owner, she has demonstrated lack of responsibility when things go wrong, and shockingly poor customer service, as well as one of their front desk personal

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentistry for over 7 years and i have felt SO at ease with their professional and extremely kind staff. I am a bit of a worrier when it comes to the Dentist and my hygenist (Kylie) and doctor are SO amazing and have notes on my file to remind them of any sensitive points and always check in with me throughout the appointments!!! They even keep notes about my life and ask me relevant questions about how things are going in my own life. Even their front desk and billing staff are straight up 10 out of 5 stars!!! Love them all!

Negative experience: Customer Service is HORRIBLE. I came in as a new patient last month after moving from Olympia. I had a deep cleaning on one side and had an appointment the following week to finish the other side. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it due to a dead battery in which it needed to be replaced. They rescheduled me for the following week again and I had a horrible cold and cough which on Monday I tested positive for Covid. I canceled it on Sunday and gave them a 24hr cancelation notice. They charged me $75 cancelation fee with no exceptions. One would assume that they would make an exception and waive the fee for a brand new patient. Please make sure you don't get sick or have a dead battery and cancel your appointment as they'll charge you $75!

Fantastic experience: My son is on the spectrum and was a little figgity. The team worked with him amazingly and made him so comfortable. He was able to get through his exam and X-rays and even his cleaning without any issues. They were so kind to him. Thank you so much for being wonderful and adjusting to his needs and ques. You are truly an amazing team.

Fantastic experience: Wanted a dental exam and cleaning before a long overseas trip. Took the spot of a cancellation-new dental hygienist. What I liked the most is that she’d been fully briefed on me by my regular hygienist and was able to spot a couple of problem areas. She brought in a DDS who was very pleasant and professional on the spot while giving me without prompting an Rx for my trip. They are great!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lenna Ostenson was once again awesome! Responded quickly to my call on Friday (office was closed) and setup an appointment for Monday afternoon to deal with a pain & discomfort free cracked molar. Crowned that puppy in a pain-free procedure with assistance from an awesome staff (including Dr Aadland!) and had me on my way quickly! Great service! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Aadland completed a cosmetic crown on a front tooth that had bothered me for years. The results were 10 times better than what I had envisioned...she made my whole smile look amazing with a little bit of magic!

Positive experience: This was my first experience as a patient at Aadland Dental, and unfortunately, it left me feeling disappointed. My initial consultation was rescheduled due to a system outage, which I understood. However, when I finally arrived for my appointment, I was hopeful and looked forward to meeting the doctor and discussing my treatment plan. After waiting 20–30 minutes after my X-Rays a dental assistant returned to inform me there had been an emergency and shift changes, and that the doctor would not be able to see me at all. I was surprised and disappointed that no effort was made to at least briefly introduce me to the doctor or communicate more directly. This experience made me feel that other priorities came before properly welcoming a new patient. Because of this, I’m now hesitant about whether I should continue to establish care here. I hope Aadland Dental can improve how they communicate and handle unexpected situations so that other new patients feel more valued and respected.

Fantastic experience: Update August 2025 - I am an Aadland SuperFan! The Amazing Aadland team continues to shine! An old rootcanal has outlived its useful lifespan by a few decades and is in need for an upgrade. This will be my 3rd implant with Dr Nicole and I cannot recommend her and the team highly enough. Basically painless, great job at building up a fake tooth to ensure I’m not walking around as a lisping toothless pirate with gapped teeth. You can’t go wrong having them taking care of your dental health. February 2024 update... Went in for my usual cleaning and as always had the best experience ever. Jenn is super gentle and an expert at keeping my pockets shallow :) Always a great vibe in the office and super helpful front desk staff and always on top of insurance billing etc. State of the art equipment on site - the most professionally run dentist operation over all the dentists that I been with in all the places I have lived. ------ Previous recommendation An old crown popped off while eating some good strong Danish licorice. Picked up the phone and left a message after hours- received immediate call back and was in the chair by noon the next day. The team at Aadland had it securely back in place with in 20 minutes- super efficient and painlessly delightful. As always the teams in both front and back office was top notch pros - full of positive energy and great vibes! —— Fantastic Implant Experience Years ago had a bad molar pulled and never got a bridge made. During a regular cleaning visit, we discussed options to fill the gap. The Aadland team provided excellent and neutral options as well as pros and cons about both bridge and implant. I decided to go with the implant and WOW! It was quick and easy over two visits; first placement of the implant and that process was painless during the procedure with virtually no pain afterwards. Mostly my tongue playing with the stitches :-) Then the second visit to get the tooth placed. All of which was easy and I love my new tooth. Great work team! —— My first visit: Woke up with a toothache and being new to the area we weren’t quite sure where to go. A quick search on NextDoor brought us to Aadland Dental. It’s been a fantastic experience from picking up the phone and calling them to walking out the door; - Phone was answered immediately and Kristin provided excellent service. Got me an emergency appointment and sent me the patient intake forms via email. - Super easy to provide new patient info online. - The front desk staff was kind and very helpful from the minute I walked in. - Melissa got me set up in the room and took x-rays with their top of the line equipment with minimal radiation exposure. - All equipment is top of the line and modern technology - Dr. Ostenson saw me immediately and reassured me that it wasn’t a serious issue - It was time for my cleaning anyway so the staff shuffled around a bit and got me squeezed in right on the spot (they are booked until February for cleanings!!) - The hygienist, Hillary was super friendly, detail oriented, super gentle - probably the most gentle cleaning I have ever had and the ultrasonic tool is top of the line and didn’t rattle my brain or hurt my ears. Overall - the Aadland clinic and staff is absolutely top of the line and I can highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Aadland’s for 14 years! So have my husband and my son. My son was 14 and in braces when he began. He is now getting married. Neither of them have ever had a cavity. I still have the same great service and care since day 1! I can’t believe that I’m just now writing a review! I got off track after Covid came but I’m glad that I got back on schedule. I missed you all and thanks for taking care of me, Kyleigh!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentists! I'll be using Aadland for my regular dentist. Got me in quick for a cracked filling. VERY easy going. Ended up needing a root canal and it was all done in the same visit. Permanent crown included. The only thing I would have loved is if nitros was available but that needs to be scheduled in advance. They are also booked way out for checkups and cleanings The assistant and Dr showed me photos and images of what was going on and what the treatment plan is and why. Felt trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: My most recent appointment was not nearly as eventful as the one posted below from a couple of years ago but every one of the staff were very gracious and competent. I enjoy my visits to my dentist, believe it or not. With our health services so overloaded , one could expect traces of stress and frustration. Not so. I was treated as if I were their only patient today. Ostenson went above and beyond to ensure a problem, not dental exactly but related, does not develop into a serious problem. I was surprised and grateful to her. ——————————————————————— On May 19, I had my first appointment after their reopening. The process was very smooth and minimized contacts. I was met at the door and had my temperature checked and otherwise I only Was with the hygienist. Doctor was shown my xrays and updated on my condition but it did not require her to interact directly with me. They operate a one way system so there was no chance that I would be near another patient. Very impressed with the isolation measures and the care taken by the hygienist to protect me.

Fantastic experience: I'm not one to usually write reviews but I felt compelled to write this as a new customer at Aadland. I have always had a fear of dentists and was nervous to be treated while pregnant but I found myself feeling less anxious the more time I spent there. The staff is wonderful. Funny, relaxed, easy going, and making jokes that made me feel much better and calmer. My toddler also had to visit recently and they were so great with him too, making him smile and making him feel comfortable, I really appreciate the team at Aadland and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’m giving a shout-out to Aadland Dental and their staff! Dr Kristin and my Dental Hygienist Jen were so incredibly nice and helpful. I had questions about some dental services I was interested in and they were able to provide the answers I was looking for. Jen did a great job making my smile look shiny and beautiful (as usual, she’s amazing!), and Dr Kristin is always super nice and makes me feel at ease. One of the Dental Assistants (forgive me for not remembering her name) jumped in and finished polishing my teeth and flossing while Jen had to go fill in to cover a call-out in the next room. The Dental Assistant was super friendly and did a great job! The rest of the staff are always cheerful, respectful and just plain fun!

Fantastic experience: I am 75. During my lifetime , Dr. O is the only dentist I have used who does not trip my dental phobia. In addition to her exceptional dental skills, she is also a great at diagnosing dental issues. And she has a wonderful sense of humor.

Jessica (hope I spell her name right), the hygienist, is amazing. She is very professional and makes me feel comfortable. She always has a big smile and a warm welcome. She explains everything clearly and takes good care of my teeth. I trust her and feel relaxed during my cleaning. I am happy with the service and I always look forward to my visits. I highly recommend Aadland Dental and especially Jessica!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, such a clean and comfortable environment. I had a crown put on and felt no pain, and it is perfect. Dr. Ostenson was so friendly and caring of any issues I may have had or felt. She did a wonderful job. Her assistant was super nice and helpful Just a great experience to have a crown put on. I will highly recommend Aadland to anyone needing a dentist.

Fantastic experience: My recent visit 4/8 was awesome. Jesse, my hygienist, and Dr. Nicole were very detailed, thorough and methodical explaining my dental care options. Jesse was very personable, patient and did an excellent job with my teeth cleaning, as well as the xrays and exam. My appt. was one of the best I've ever experienced....

Fantastic experience: By far the kindest dentists I've ever had. Everyone there is kind, and also women, which is great if you're suffering male PSTD. They were gentle, patient, and knowledgeable, and accommodated my disabilities to the point where I felt comfortable being myself. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found them! Also the office is a work of beauty, very calming and peaceful with high tech equipment. I'm not rich so I was worried as soon as I saw how nice it was, but I don't see it reflected in the cost more than other places I've been to. Basically, a gem of a practice, and I can't recommend it enough!

Negative experience: I would leave no stars if I could. This is my first time visiting this place and I chose them because of their high ratings. I went in for a simple cleaning and got a bill saying I owe over $400. My insurance covers cleanings at no charge but it seems that this office decided to charge my insurance for all types of X-rays, and other services I had no idea they were allegedly doing. A business that preys on its new customers like this should be ashamed of themselves. I certainly will never be going here ever again and I would not recommend anyone else to this business. $400 is no small bill but I can afford to pay it. If this would have happened to someone less fortunate they would be in a very bad situation. Because of this I plan to complain to every authority including my own insurance so this does not happen again. This is in response to the dental office: Please start telling customers up front that you're going to take all sorts of film for their teeth so we as the patient can make the decision if we can pay it or not. Update 03/25/2025: I received a bill from AAdland Dental for the charges that I was not aware of. After researching with my insurance, I sent in payment for the bill but Aadland decided they were not going to charge the card I gave them with the return bill. Since, they sent my account to collections and had a negative mark put on my credit report. Additital the collection agency sent me a copy of the charge and communication I had with someone from Aadland Dental. In the remarks the agent for Aadland made a statement that she asked me if I ever once stopped the extra tech and question the x-rays being done and the agent said I did not. I want to make sure I comment on this as a blatant LIE. I inquired several times about everything that was going on with. my care. Apparently, I was lied to. I also want to comment saying that I have every reason to go on and on as was stated in the description of my call with Aadland Dental, when I'm being charged for something I was unaware of. You people are so inconsiderate and rude. Again, I would never recommend this dental office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I just went here after not going to a dentist for 4 years from a terrible experience I had at a different dentist. They are so kind and gentle, didn’t make me feel any kind of shame about being nervous or the expected problems from not going to a dentist for a long period of time. I felt so comfortable and they acknowledged my worries and just made it such a positive experience. I’m happy to have found a new dentist office that isn’t going to make me dread going in.

Fantastic experience: As always, my cleaning and exam appointment met my high expectations for timeliness, courtesy and expert care. The staff is friendly and professional and the experience is always comfortable and as pleasant as a dentist appointment can be.
