Fantastic experience: I had to have 2 emergency root canals on a Friday at the Murphy location. They made the entire process so easy, comfortable and explained everything very well. I had a huge fear of pain during a root canal bc of a past experience with another dentist. So I used some of their “happy gas” and watched a Netflix movie from the ceiling while they went to work and I felt absolutely no pain! I highly recommend them…..the best!!

Fantastic experience: A HUGE fear of mine is the dentist, but a root canal terrifies me. I met Brandy and she took me back to my chair. She was so kind and she literally stayed with me the whole time. I don't think I have ever met a nicer assistant. She took amazing care of me and I couldn't have done it without her!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! I needed an emergency same day treatment and 3 other Endodontist could not get me in. I called Sigma and they were able to squeeze me in the same day and get my abscess drained and the canal retreated. The procedure was painless and my tooth is better than ever. Negative experience: I took my teen daughter to Sigma Dentist for root canal done. I had a terrible experience with this dentist. They did a root canal on my daughter that was so painful, She was in tears. The dentist was unprofessional and dismissive of my concerns. The aftercare was also terrible and Iy daughter had to go to another dentist to get the job done right. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone! My experience with Sigma Dental was a nightmare. My daughter had a root canal done by one of their dentists and it was an absolute disaster. The procedure was botched and we had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. I do not recommend anyone take their children to Sigma Dental.

Negative experience: I had a root canal done here before and it was an awful and traumatizing experience. My root canal is now infected leaving me with severe toothache and having to spend even more money to redo my root canal. My new doctor says the root canal was t done and sealed properly which is why I’m getting an infection now. My experience at Sigma: I have a small mouth so the procedure was extra difficult and painful. The doctor and team was not caring and sensitive to my pain, rather I felt like he was annoyed and frustrated that my mouth was too small and the procedure was difficult. It was the absolute worst experience at any doctor or dentist I have ever had. I regret so so much not doing more research and just choosing Sigma. I usually don’t leave reviews but my experience was so awful and painful. I really recommend going anywhere else but Sigma.

Fantastic experience: I neglected my teeth for decades, so going to the dentist after many years was stressful (yes, my fault). Of course, I needed a root canal. Luckily, the procedure was painless and quick! I even got to watch Netflix! Dr. Kian was my doctor, and I highly recommend. He’s kind and patient. Plus he’s easy on the eye. Yes, I went there.

After looking at, and showing me my images, he communicated clearly what my problem was, what my options were, and shared his opinion on the best solution. The staff are very kind, and well trained professionals. All dental care is expensive, and I have made the mistake of trying to economize when choosing where to receive dental care. Dr. Nick is fair and I was informed of my costs at every step. No surprises. I got a highly skilled, highly experienced doc that did a great job. Thanks Dr. Nick!

Fantastic experience: Updated Mar 4, 2023: The provider called and professionally apologized for not telling me they are out of network and issued me a refund to offset the difference. I am changing the rating (2 to 5 star) due to this, as this type of business attitude is rare to find. *** While the Dentist was very nice, but the person who scheduled the appointment did not tell us that our insurance is out of network for them. The patient has been suffering from pain for weeks and when we were told about the out of network during the day of appointment we could not afford to cancel the service and go somewhere else. I am writing this review to "warn" future patients so that they verify with the appointment scheduler about the in-network status. To make things confusing this provider has multiple locations, each location has their fixed set of insurance company support. Another issue is they charged us double up front (which I hope I will be refunded back).

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick was kind and explained what he was going to do. Unfortunately in my case it was bad news but he did an excellent job on my retreatment of my root canal. Ciara was his assistant and made me feel at ease. They have a TV directly above you on the ceiling that keeps you entertained and mind off of what’s going on. They are transparent with the cost before hand which I really liked and I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I had a swollen old root canal that got infected again (different dentist) and the Murphy location was able to get me in next day and do a retreatment. Assistant Leslie was great as well as Dr. Kian. Would definitely recommend and come back if needed in the future.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a root canal expecting a bit of pain but it turned out to be painless ... I was falling asleep by the end of the procedure. Very nice staff. Very satisfied. Thank you Dr Kian and Sierra! You made it very easy!

Fantastic experience: Referred to Sigma by my dentist for tooth sensitivity. Saw Dr. Nick who was very thorough in determining a root canal was needed. Dr. Nick and his outstanding assistant were both extremely professional. Although I was prescribed an antibiotic and ibuprofen, I never needed any pain meds as I never felt any pain or discomfort after the local anesthetic wore off - none. My only negative comment is about cost. Even though I have a "high" dental plan supposedly covering 50% of costs for this procedure, several of the codes used by Sigma (laser irrigation and CT scan to name a few) were not covered. I doubt this is unique to my policy. Nonetheless, if you want professionals working in your mouth, these are the people to see.

Negative experience: Overall experience rating is more like a negative 10. Initially 2/2020 treated for emergency root canal referral from my dentist, same day, which was appreciated. Everyone was very kind. 8/2020 Discomfort still experienced when outside of tooth touched; no pain with biting down, but X-ray revealed bone not fully healed. Give it more time. 1/2021 New dentist, X-rays show area of concern (bone not he asked still). Suggested followup with Dr. Nick to check out. 2/2021 Schedule check with Dr. Nick, who proceeded to asked me WHY I would need to touch the outside of my tooth, as if the reason mattered? It’s my tooth, in my mouth…root canal hasn’t take. Away all feeling. He implied I must be flossing too hard…the dark area was not a failure of bone to heal, don’t worry about it if no pain when biting, there is no problem. He spoke to me as if my inquiry was ridiculous and it seemed to be because I was not in tears with pain. He said if begin to experience severe pain when biting, he will retreat. Discomfort continues but didn’t seem to worsen…maybe it was ‘still healing’ for some reason, was my thought. I’m 50 and have always had great oral hygiene and no big issues. 6/2022 - 6 mo cleaning; recommend considering a second opinion soon. 12/2022 - 6 mo checkup, now pain when tool pressed into middle of tooth. Referral now has to occur for second opinion. 1/2023 - evaluation by a different endodontist revealed the root canal did not result in a completion of the process all the way down the root…so I’ve been building an infection since the root canal in 2/2020 and because the symptoms were not properly addressed, I am now required to have a complete retreatment. While I understand these things may occur at times, the fact that the concerns of 2 different dentists and my input were not take seriously by Dr. Nick. I was treated as though I was over reacting and even questioning (by the dentists or myself) was nonsense. Unacceptable and the money paid by me and my insurance company should be refunded since we must pay, yet again, and even more, to undue what was done insufficiently. Not to mention the discomfort that’s coming along with another procedure and the building up of infection for almost 3 years?! I suggest finding another option for your needs, just in case. We should be able to trust our doctors to uphold their own work and based upon the symptoms and history shared with new endodontist, it’s clear this should have been addressed much different much sooner.

Fantastic experience: My daughter needed an emergency root canal and Dr. Ho did an amazing job! He was very kind and explained the procedure thoroughly. The office environment was very comforting and the staff was very kind and considerate. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a terrific experience when visiting Sigma Dental. I was under extreme pain and upon calling they were able to get me in within 45 minutes to the office and begin my consultation. Dr Truong, his assistant Sierra, and the front desk Team were very kind and helpful during the process. Dr Truong and Sierra's bedside manner was very good as we talked through my issues and potential treatments. They took the time to go out of their way to immediately perform the necessary treatment. I left feeling much better and they performed a follow up call to cehck on me the day after. Highly recommend Dr Truong and his Team for anyone requiring Endodontic treatment!

Fantastic experience: 10 STARS!!! Had to make an emergency visit so I googled endodontics near me and found Sigma in Murphy. The entire staff including Dr. Truong were INCREDIBLE!!! From my initial call to make sure they carry my insurance they were SUPER friendly and sincere about helping! When i arrived I got anxious but Dr. Truong and the staff were SO patient and genuinely caring! They walked me thru every step of my procedure and today I'm feeling great! Definitely have to be people of God! THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic experience: Turns out root canals aren’t fun, but Sigma was fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable, explained every step of the way, and were very attentive. I winced during the procedure and the dental assistant noticed immediately and confirmed I was okay. When I said I could feel it just a little, but it wasn’t bad, they gave me an additional numbing shot. Overall, it was as pleasant experience as possible. I don’t want another root canal any time soon, but I highly recommend Sigma!

Fantastic experience: Just finished my root canal. Yea! It's done! The whole team was very thorough and caring. They worked hard to make a difficult experience as comfortable as possible. I was apprehensive about this procedure, but a choice of music, plus a blanket (rolled into a pillow to support my neck) helped me to relax.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kian was wonderful in doing my Root Canal. I had to come in unexpectedly and rather quickly, and he did a wonderful job to keep me calm and make the process as smooth as possible. Quick easy painless! Definitely recommend coming in!

Fantastic experience: I just got out from my root canal treatment this afternoon--and it was ahhh-mazing! From desk was so courteous and accomodating. They were referred by my dentist although it was quite a drive and spontaneous.. I'm glad they have availability! The treatment went by fast--I sure enjoyed watching Netflix on the ceiling! What a clever idea! Judith has the kindest and gentlest personality. She helped me prepped and assisted Dr.Truong. Dr.Truong was very thorough and very knowledgeable to his field! Wow! He made sure I wasn't in pain. I'd come back if I have to but I will mostly refer friends and family to them. Since like most people, I don't like going to dentist as well! But not this one!❤ Thank you Sigma Dental Specialist! Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this office from my dentist for a root canal. Very happy I selected this location as the staff was very friendly. My procedure was completed by Dr. Daghighi. He was so pleasant and very comforting. He fully explained everything he would do and what I should expect thru various points during the procedure. My procedure didn’t take as long as expected. The dental assistant was super friendly and also added to my comfortability. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Daghighi for any service he offers. I wish he did more than endo and periodontics because I would be his patient. I hope to never need another root canal but if I do I would come to him without hesistation.
