Fantastic experience: Every single person at University Dental Group was welcoming and kind. My hygienist was thoughtful and gentle, and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I am typically anxious about going to the dentist, but this experience was completely different. Dr. Patrick radiates positivity. In my 40 years, I have never left a dentist appointment feeling happier than when I walked in, but I did today. Truly amazing people and an incredible practice.

The staff were amazing and I left without my teeth hurting from all the scraping that my old dentist office use to do. They were gentle and had amazing equipment that did the job. Fantastic experience: I feel really listened to when I bring concerns to both dental hygienists and dentists at University Dental. I had mistaken the date of my six month check -up and so when I arrived for my appointment I wasn't on their schedule. I was in the process of making sure of a date and time for the check-up with the receptionist at the front desk when the second office person told us that phone call she'd just received was a cancellation for that same day and only a few minutes from then if I wanted to take that slot. Of course that was a no brainer, and so I snatched up the offer. I was in and out in less than an hour...and no cavities or repair work needed to boot!

Fantastic experience: Through my employer I visit multiple dental offices, and there are a LOT of very good Doctors and staff. Some, better than others. With that said, I switched to University Dental Group and find the 30 minute drive worth it! Can’t say enough good things about them!

Fantastic experience: My wife and three kids just visited for the first time and they were very happy with their care. They were welcomed and introduced to the staff and those that were nervous were put at ease with the knowledgeable, experienced staff talking through the process and making sure everyone felt comfortable before proceeding. My wife was able to sit (masked) with our most nervous child during her exam. The chairs faced a beautiful garden and our kids enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, and other wildlife to take their minds off dental work. Dr. Lauren Patrick has an excellent way with nervous dental patients and she is knowledgeable and explains things well without talking down to her patients. We would definitely recommend Dr. Lauren Patrick and her support staff!

Fantastic experience: July 2024: Very customer friendly, utmost trust in their knowledge and skills, excellent record keeping, efficient, I must say I enjoy my dentist's visits here. The measures taken to protect the client and the staff were extraordinary and well thought out. One person at a time enters into the building and taken directly to the room. Appointments are staggered to keep clients apart. All staff wore masks and shields and masks were required for clients. Temperatures were taken prior to entering the building and questions posed to ascertain the health status of the client. Blood pressure was taken; mouth wash procedures iwere n place to lower risk; hand cleaning with highly gritty pace replaced the rotating electric brush to minimize aeration . Everything was explained clearly in a most friendly, fun manner. Sara was a delight in assisting, taking the x-rays. Dr. Patrick was so personable and knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. While in the room my next appointment for a dental check was established. Then payment procedures were explained. I was lead to check out which was quick. Who knew that during such times, going to the dentist could such a positive experience. I highly recommend University Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: In all truthfulness, I have a terrible dentist phobia. My dentist growing up NEVER used Novocain and after my first 20 years my dental angst was fully formed. I don’t like them. They make me nervous and their offices are scary. Having said that, I really like university dental. They make me feel comfortable, they are nice ,thorough and really explain clearly what they are doing and why. And, they use Novocain!! I love Dr Spellman, she’s smart, caring and literally the best dentist I’ve had in 58 years. Don’t like dentistry, go here. Feeling so-so about your dentist, go here. Like your current dentist, leave them and go here.

Because of her examination and her questions, I can tell that Dr. Patrick is a skilled dentist, and she must be a wise manager because her office has a nice vibe. I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist and the office was just beautiful.The hygienist who cleaned my teeth had all the right skills--organized, knowledgeable, respectful, pleasant, and efficient. Fantastic experience: The BEST first-time visit I've had at the dentist. SHad a dental visit with Lauren Patrick is personable, and her exam was very comprehensive . She takes the time to go through your images and talk about immediate versus later needs/ maintenance. This was the best first visit I've had to a dentist. Positive experience: The staff are great especially Tracy. However, the text message reminders are over the top! I don't mind 1 or 2, but 4-5 months out and on the day is too much! It is nice and relaxing in the chair as you can watch the birds and squirrels out of the treatment windows.

Positive experience: My visit went well but it would be nice if there was a procedure in place where an estimate was offered when the cost is going to be high. In my case I had a very expensive procedure with the oral surgeon followed by an expensive visit with my dentist, I would have appreciated a heads up from the start. Thank you for this consideration, I realize now I should have asked more questions.

Fantastic experience: These people are the real deal. They take the time to get to know you. Caring, compassionate. They take away the anxiety of going to the dentist. They are very proactive with their customers to ensure you have a great smile. And they are in tune with the little things like having mouthwash in the bathroom so you can freshen your breath. So much is going on, it’s tough to remember appointments made 6 months previously. Efficient and friendly dentists and staff, plus clean, attractive surroundings. Fantastic experience: Had significant pain in my upper right tooth. Dr Spellman was able to see me the same day that I called. She took an X-ray and solved the issue and I was finished in 20 minutes. 48 hours later my tooth feels about 80% of normal. I couldn't be more pleased.

She explained every procedure thoroughly. I like the bird feeder outside the window. They actually had a financial person there to go over your dental procedures and the cost. And options for paying the bill. The only concerns I had of course are the cost. They are fixing a few teeth before they become an emergency. The other concern I have is: it was a bit difficult to find (GPS kept giving me wrong directions). And the parking lot was really small. Thanks ladies for making a dentist appointment much less scary.

Fantastic experience: I had my checkup at University Dental this week and it’s still a five-star experience. I’ve been going to there for many years, starting back when it was located down the street. Even though some faces change, I keep coming back because the doctors, hygienists and office staff are so nice, professional, and caring. They are like friends you reconnect with every 6 months. Dr. Elsner oversaw my dental care for many years, and always had helpful suggestions for products and techniques to try at home. And now Dr. Spellman and Dr. Patrick are carrying on her legacy. And Tracey is still my favorite hygienist! They all make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.
