Positive experience: Omg.what a bad experience! I forgot my appt for only the 2nd time in 20 yrs.the hygenist would not wait the LITERALLY 5 extra minutes it would take me to get down there from my house.told me I'd have to wait 7 months for a new appt.i called my husband's dentist and got in 2 days later. So i called WDA back and was told very rudely and confrontationaly by the same hygienist that I needed to physically go down there to sign a release for my records.i had never heard of such a thing, but i drove down there anyway and once there I was told by the receptionist that I didn't need to sign anything!" Crazy!! Thinking about it later, i began to feel like the hygienist made me drive down there unnecessarily just for spite.I'm so disappointed in this hygienist and this office (that I've used for over 20 years).but after this experience I'm glad to be changing,especially after receiving no apology at all from the staff for making me travel there for no reason whatsoever.What an awful way to treat a long time patient.It's a huge understatement to say that this situation was handled very poorly by the staff at WDA. update: the hygienist I had an issue with is longer working there so I may at some point be returning to WDA. i really do like the dentists there, especially Dr borecki who is a very kind person..also the staff went above and beyond in fitting my brother in before a medical procedure so I must give them so much credit and appreciation for that. So I am amending my 1 star rating to 3 stars.

Fantastic experience: I found the staff very pleasant. The wait time was less than 5 minutes and the dentist and her assistant were there within a couple of minutes once I was put into a room. They were both very kind and gentle with my care. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Disappointed that every time I have a visit, it is with a different hygienist. The office doesn’t call you to notify you, they just switch it. .

I was without a dentist for a while, and when I went to Wallingford Dental, they weren't judgy or made me feel like less of a person for not being able to go when I didn't have coverage. Every associate and dentist I have encountered has been welcoming and helpful. I couldn't ask for better.

Fantastic experience: WDA has saved at least 3 of my teeth from beginning crowned. That always do the most conservative treatment and are always very nice and gentle.

Fantastic experience: Every single person at Wallingford Dental Associates is an amazingly kind, thoughtful, and understanding person. I have a lot of trauma around dental care and a panic disorder. Before I found WDA I had to be fully sedated for any dental work. Now all I need is a little nitrous gas and a little extra Novocain. All the doctors I have worked with there are wonderful, and their technicians are just as awesome. The front desk staff is kind and will go the extra mile to make sure you understand your bill and how insurance can help you.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of this practice for over 35 years, through moves away from Wallingford and I value this office so much that I will travel many miles to keep them as my dentist office. They are reasonably priced, honest and do not recommend services that are not necessary. They are also very kind and nice people! I see Dr. McPhail but any of the dentists are great as I have seen over the years.

Fantastic experience: I had come into the office after suffering with an infected tooth over the weekend. The staff was very sympathetic and quickly got an x-ray taken and a dentist to review it and make a recommendation for treatment which required a root canal. The office contacted the endodontist, and I was able to be seen that day - without their assistance I'm sure it would have taken much longer to be seen. I was very appreciative of their prompt action. I have been a patient with the practice for over 20 years and I have always been pleased with the service I have received.

Fantastic experience: Dr Broecki is the best..I have alot of anxiety when going to the dentist but she helps put me at ease everytime...knowing that I work in the medical field myself she always tries to help schedule me at a time that doesn't interfere with my job which is really sweet..due to my anxiety if I cannot get in with the hygienist maria that I'm comfortable with she even offers to do my cleaning herself...staff is always so friendly from the minute I walk in the door to the minute I leave..I have referred a few people there and will always recommend this group

Fantastic experience: I've been going to WDA for about 4 years now and have worked primarily with Dr. Borecki, and more recently, had a couple visits with Dr. Arthur (due to schedule conflicts). Both Dentists are incredibly professional, welcoming, and most importantly, very gentle while prioritizing patient comfort. A couple years ago I had a serious infection that brought me into the office for multiple visits over the course of a couple of weeks. During this time, Dr. Borecki went above and beyond with regards to my care while in the office and afterward. She took extra steps to ensure I wouldn't have further issues with the area of infection after I healed, and even called me personally to check on my status during my post op period. Let's be honest, no one really loves going to the dentist/doctor, but when they are as good as Dr. Arthur and Dr. Borecki, it makes the visit much less dreadful. As long as I live in New Haven county, I will be a patient at WDA.

Fantastic experience: Have been going for a while now for regular cleanings which have been great. I recently needed a filling and have pretty high anxiety due to a bad experience when I was much younger. Dr. Arthur was FABULOUS. She took her time and explained everything she was doing which I asked her to. Her touch is incredibly gentle and she was very understanding of my anxiety surrounding dental work. If it wouldn't have been weird I would have given her and the dental assistant huge hugs when we were done.

Fantastic experience: Wallingford Dental Associates took away my fear of dentists over 20 years ago. Beautifiul, spotless, brightly lit, easy to schedule regular and “emergency” appointments if needed.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly and the office is clean. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years due to moving, Covid and a fear of dentist. They didn’t judge me when I told them my dental history and took their time to walk me through each step of the process so I felt comfortable. Before I knew it I was done. Dr. McPhail was great and so were her staff. Bonus are the late office hours. As someone who works late I really appreciate them having hours past 5 pm. It was very helpful. I’m looking forward to my next cleaning now. I highly recommend them!

I chose the wrong dental plan this year, Wallingford Dental is not in network and my husband and I have decided to pay out of pocket because we refuse to go to another office.
