Negative experience: Great dentist, terrible office staff. Showed up for an appointment today only to find out the office was closed for training. No effort to contact had been made. Thanks for wasting our time.

Negative experience: So my son been there since he had his first dental checkup he was around 1 year old, keep in mind hes almost 6 and i have never had an issue with them they were always good ; great customer service ,great staff. Until i had to cancel one of my appointments due to a funeral in our family . Keep in mind , my appointment was this passed May 29th they called me to confirmed the appointment but i decided to cancel and just reschedule when all the funeral service was over. I finally called a week after to reschedule my son they told me they were unable to see him due to 2 missed appointments the first one was back in 2023 when i delivered my other baby and then of course this last one for the funeral but i canceled the appointment,she said theres no records proving you called to cancel i stated I didn’t call , they called me to confirmed the appointment and at that moment i canceled it. Bad luck for me because i cant remember the receptionist name Anyways i told them if there wasn’t anything they could do because it was a funeral and i canceled its not like i just didnt show up at all they insist theres nothing to do since there is only one Of them that accepts medicaid in that dentist Anways in that last appointment it was also my babys first dental appointment and i asked so what about the baby can he still be seen as a new patient since it was going to be his first appointment , it took her a moment to respond then she finally said no maam were not taking any new patients at the moment have a great day and hung up . I called yesterday asking to enrolled a new patient and guess what they were so fast to take information for a new patient

Negative experience: Had an awful experience! Waiting longer in front desk.The doctor also have no patience with kids, didn’t hear tell me the kids’ teeth condition. Just brush then rush to go for the next, but our insurance pay for the time and service. Didn’t feel get cared. Not recommended to come.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely LOVE Brazos Valley Pediatric Dentistry!! They do a phenomenal job with my kiddos, and they are able to get everyone in and out in a timely manner. Dr. Kalke is so great with children, and has my 6 year old wanting to be a pediatric dentist when she grows up!

Fantastic experience: We love our dentist! We have been going since kids were 2 and younger. All the staff is so patient and friendly and haven't pushed the kids for x-rays when they weren't ready. We had billing issue at one point and they quickly made it right. Very happy and highly recommend.

Positive experience: We have used this office for 23 years. The staff and doctors a generally smiling and kind. Some of their policies are unprofessional (the last couple of years; never had any issues before that) as to how much money we have spent there over the years and how they have always gotten what is owed. We were told if we rescheduled again for an appointment they wouldn’t do the procedure and one was rescheduled because of the doctor and one was rescheduled because we needed both dentist and orthodontist at the same time and one was rescheduled because of work issues and time. I understand they have other patients and also know they have people wanting in, so that time is easily filled and they are not loosing any money. For a valued client, I would never make that comment. The way they sometimes speak down on people has changed these past few years. It was more professional when Dr. Case was there.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always welcoming. The wait is never very long. The hygienist and additional staff are sweet, gentle, informative and my kids actually enjoy their cleanings. Between two kids we've had 2 fillings and 1 tooth extraction and both experiences went very smoothly. My son even said "I want another tooth pulled". We are very happy with the services provided.

Positive experience: Hygienists, assistants, and dentists all have great bedside manner. We make an hour drive to come for our appointments, always worth it. We have multiple children and they're great about syncing appointments for us. Hard to get in pinch because they're in high demand, but we understand why.

X rays have always caused anxiety for my kids when they were younger and today my youngest came for his third attempt at x rays, and they are just incredible. So gentle and kind, they even got it on first try and had this momma crying happy tears. So thankful for the staff here!

My 4 year old has been through a lot medically considering his heart condition and spending his first 8 months of life in the hospital he really didn't like going to dentists or doctors but he actually loves them. They also book all of my childrens appointments together so that helps a ton!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Barra was recommended to us by a friend when we were not happy with our last pediatric dentists unwillingness to let me back with our son during treatment. Not only do they allow parents back during treatment, but I was able to sit right next to him which was great for both of us. All of the staff we have dealt with are so patient and attentive. My son greatly prefers this team compared to our last one and I agree!

They are so patient and understanding with my younger kids and make the visit pleasant. The kids love they get a little toy at the end of the visit too.
