Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with the hygienist, Jenna. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and amazing with my kids. My son was really nervous, but Jenna was so patient and kind. She took the time to explain everything to him and even let him try “Mr. Thirsty” on his own. By the end of the visit, he had a big smile on his face and felt completely at ease. She was just as fantastic with my other son and even connected with him over basketball. Thank you for making our visit so easy and enjoyable for all of us!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place! I have 3 kiddos and they all had cleanings done. The dentist can be a scary experience for kiddos but instead, their visit was filled with laughs! My middle kiddo was a bit nervous and didn't want to open his mouth but Angie came over and changed his mood quick after a few tickles and jokes. She carried my 3 year old Ellie around and had her greet all of the patients, danced and played with her and kept her calm while her brothers were seen. The next morning, we came back for Ellie's dental cleaning and Angie remembered us right away and started cuddling with Ellie and started our day with a bunch of jokes and smiles. All of the staff are friendly and accommodating. We are all not only very comfortable with the care provided but we all look forward to coming to the dentist to have fun!

Fantastic experience: 7/22/2005 We had Dr. Mahdi today for a silver tooth. His professionalism and patience with my son was awesome. He explained everything as if it was the first time he had this service done. My son was kicking and screaming coming into this appointment. But full of smiles and laughter because Dr. Mahdi made the experience seem like he was a superhero. Thank you for handling him with care. You are amazing!! I love the service and the staff. They are very patient and child friendly. My son had a bad experience the first time with getting an x-ray as he is only 3 years old so you can imagine it's scary to them naturally. Dr Lam handled him like a pro and made him feel comfortable this time and he breezed right through x-rays. The front desk staff is exceptional, today Taicha checked me out :)

Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding team and top-notch service! Angie and Alyssa were fantastic—friendly, professional, and made us feel right at home. The doctor himself? Total charm machine. He made my kid feel completely at ease, which is no small feat at a dentist’s office. Highly recommend! If you’re going to end up with cavities and a jacked-up smile, these are definitely the folks you want on your side to fix it.

Negative experience: Waited 25 + minutes for my infants first dentist appointment so I left with no interaction, then called to complain formally. I let them know I left and this was not the experience I wanted for my child’s first dentist appointment, nothing more or less because their staff dismissed these concerns. When I called a different day to schedule a new appointment, a lady (she did not provide her name) told me “a 25 min wait is nothing around here after I explained why I’m rescheduling, and that they can’t accept my child because I “paper cutted somebody in the eye” after checking my child’s notes. When I stated that what is there is false and asked for further information I was told she “wasn’t arguing” and was hung on. This business is simply overbooked, unprofessional, and inconsiderate of peoples time and concerns. I don’t recommend this dentistry at all unless you want to wait for 20-40 mins to be seen or deal with unprofessionalism like this.

Positive experience: Great with Kids, But Parents—You Need to Stay Involved I’ve taken both of my kids (ages 12 and 9) to the Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick. Let me start with the good: The staff are kind, patient, and great with kids. Scheduling is easy, the office is welcoming, and the visits are smooth. That said, parents need to keep their adult eyes and ears open. Issue #1 – Lack of Transparency on Insurance Coverage In October, my 12-year-old had X-rays and an exam. I was told they had 2 cavities and needed 2 teeth sealed. They gave me an estimate, told me what insurance wouldn’t cover, and I paid the rest using my Flexible Spending Account (FSA). But here’s the problem: I didn’t receive any invoice in November, December, or January. In February, I finally got a bill—turns out insurance didn’t cover the sealants because they were applied to baby teeth. I called the insurance company and they confirmed this policy. And honestly—What pediatric dental office doesn’t already know that sealants on baby teeth aren’t covered? They submitted the claim anyway, and no one informed me at the time. If I had received the bill or been told earlier, I could’ve used my remaining FSA funds before the end of the year. Instead, I lost that money. Issue #2 – Conflicting Diagnosis I brought my 9-year-old in for a routine check-up. I was told he now had cavities and needed sealants—all within a 6-month period. That raised red flags, especially since he still has a mouth full of baby teeth. So, I took him to our previous dentist (who we had left a few years ago due to insurance changes) for a second opinion. After a full consultation, review of the X-rays, and a visual exam, they told me: "There are no cavities.” The only recommendation? Seal permanent teeth as a preventive measure, and only if insurance would cover it—which is the kind of responsible, transparent advice I expected in the first place. Final Takeaways: This practice is great with kids—but that’s only half the job. As a parent, I learned the hard way to: Always ask whether the work is being done on baby or permanent teeth. Confirm what is and isn’t covered by insurance—don’t assume they’re handling it. Request written estimates and clear explanations before approving anything. Follow up on invoices quickly, especially if you’re using Flexible Spending funds. Don’t be afraid to get a second opinion. It might save you from unnecessary procedures.

Negative experience: Zero stars. Betrayed and Dismissed After a Decade of Loyalty - Unacceptable! I am absolutely appalled and heartbroken by the treatment my children received at The Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick a place I had trusted with our dental health for over 10 years. To say I'm disappointed would be a massive understatement; I feel utterly betrayed. After a decade of consistent appointments, loyalty, and referrals, I was recently informed that The pediatric Dental Center of Frederick would no longer be able to see my children as patients. And one of my children has special needs. The reason given was based on what I can only describe as false and baseless claims regarding a missed and inexcused appointment. Which I called to cancel timely. The accusation is simply not only untrue, it’s also incredibly insulting, especially coming from a practice I entrusted with my children’s care for years. There was no notice or an attempt to discuss this "claim" with me, no opportunity to clarify, and no consideration for our long-standing patient-provider relationship. It was a cold, sudden, and completely an unprofessional dismissal that left me stunned and deeply hurt. For a clinic to treat a loyal, long-term patient with such disrespect and to dismiss them based on fabricated reasons is simply unconscionable. It shows a complete lack of integrity, care, and appreciation for their patients. If this is how they treat someone who has been with them for a decade, imagine how they might treat new patients. I urge anyone considering The Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick to think twice. Loyalty means nothing to them, and they are willing to discard patients based on lies without a second thought. I am now forced to find a new dental home after 10 years, all because of their unethical and unprofessional conduct. Avoid at all costs if you expect respect and honesty from this office. Every Appointment we had to wait 30+ mins in the waiting room before getting called back, and then having to wait another 30 mins to be seen by the Hygenist and Doctor. Its every Appointment, Never fails. I would highly recommend going to another Pediatric Dentist!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This dental practice really understands kids with sensory issues and how to make them feel comfortable. Dr. Mansman has many solutions for how to get your kid comfortable with being at the dentist. The office staff is efficient and very upfront with pricing for procedures. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Great experience all around. My 6 week old had issues feeding due to tongue & lip ties. The office was able to get us in within 24hrs & was even able to provide information on insurance since this was a special circumstance. Dr. Mansman verified the need for tongue & lip tie removal while clearly addressing the impact of having them, the removal process, and all my questions. My little one is now eating more efficiently and had no complications.

Fantastic experience: My 6 yo daughter had to have 5 teeth taken care of today and she laughed the whole time. The used "magic tooth sleeping gel" and she never once felt pain and wasn't scared at all. She had no clue how much work she actually had done and had no fear. Dr. Mansman and Tiffany made her feel safe and Angie was awesome with my kids. I highly recommend this dental office.

Negative experience: From my own personal experience from here it’s horrible they took x rays and said I have 7 cavities and when I checked and also went somewhere else to check they said they don’t see any and neither do I Anyways I proceeded to go with the treatment, yes they gave me laughing gas and promised me I would be relaxed even though I wasn’t relaxed and in my head I was panicking and I was getting tons of tools shoved in my mouth also now that I’m back my tooth is dying like aching like crazy I can’t even breathe correctly

Positive experience: Overall they are great with the kids. I like that they have a rewards program to keep the kids wanting to come back. I wish they would be on time (or close to it with appointments). We always wait a ridiculous amount of time and it's hard to keep the kids entertained in the waiting area. I wish their were rooms or better ways to section off the areas where the kids sit in the chair. It can be hard to keep little ones contained while waiting and can be overstimulating because you can see everyone rushing around and hear what's going on with the other clients around you.

When my insurance (which is great) denied the charges (rightfully so), they threatened to send me to collections unless I paid out of pocket—even though I was in the middle an appeal process. But the absolute worst part? I got an email from them that included private info about a bunch of other patients - total HIPAA violation. I reported it to the corresponding authorities. Luckily, I transferred my children’s care to another local dental practice, where we've finally received the respectful and transparent service we deserve. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—especially if you have private insurance.

Negative experience: I’ve waited for over 45 minutes for my appointment too many times to times to count— with a full waiting room who have also been told they will be waiting long after their scheduled time. On top of that, they’re extremely drill happy. They will look for any excuse to fill, crown, or pull those little baby teeth. Stay away

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff, very friendly and understanding, and amazing with children of any age!!! The dentist, Dr.Mansman was awesome!!! And his assistant, Pauleen and coordinator, Nichole were just as awesome!!! My first ever awesome experience at this pediatric dentist and I will definitely keep bringing her back here! (2019) ***UPDATED REVIEW(2025)!!!*** Everything I stated above in my initial review from my daughters’ very 1st appt here 6 YEARS AGO, still remains TRUE to this day!!! Even, when she’s had to see different dentists such as Dr. Madhi or different dental assistants like Richard, she has always had an awesome experience and I’m always truly grateful for that! Especially us as parents know, children are not too fond when it comes to the dentist but not when it comes to Dr.Mansman and his team!!!! He always makes sure that ALL of his patients are comfortable and calm and know what he’s going to do and I don’t know how he does it but he does the needed dental work in the least painful way possible and even has them laughing at the end of any of her procedures…still blows my mind to this day lol!!! Also, I have to take a minute to tell you about how amazingly awesome and personable Dr.Manmans’ dental assistant, Tiffany is!!! She is absolutely incredible with how calm she kept my daughter and how reassuring she was for her in letting her know that everything was going to be ok and how completely safe she was with her, letting her squeeze her hand as hard as she needed to during any stage in the procedure and stayed by her side during everything she had to have done over the past year at any of her appts!!! She made my daughter feel so relaxed & calm that my daughter genuinely gave her the biggest hug when everything was done. And she is 14 yrs old, not a little one that’ll go around hugging just anyone; because shoot, if you have a teenager than you know what I’m talking about there lol. But hey, I even hugged her myself as well, because, I was so appreciative for how she went above & beyond for my child and me, making sure I was fully informed with any and everything going on! It was Excellent staff & service 6 years ago and still is to this day!!! I will continue to ALWAYS REFER THEM TO ANYONE WHOSE CHILD IS IN NEED OF A PEDIATRIC DENTIST

From the moment we walked in, the entire team made us feel welcomed and at ease. Dr. Mansman, the practice owner, was not only professional but also incredibly kind and patient with my kids. You can truly tell he cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. Ashley, the hygienist, was absolutely amazing. She had such a gentle, calming approach and explained everything in a way my kids could understand. She made the whole experience fun and educational, which is not always easy at the dentist! My kids actually left smiling and asking when they could come back. It’s such a relief to find a dental office where both the care and the people are top-notch. Highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a positive, kid-friendly dental experience!

Negative experience: Arrived at 11:15a for my daughter’s 11:30am appointment. Decided to leave at 12:45p after not being seen. I have a special needs 2 year old and a hyper active 1 year old. We can’t wait around all day. Extremely disappointed that other people were checking in, being seen and checking out all before we could even be called back. Will be finding a new dentist for my children.

Negative experience: I really don’t want to give a single start but no option to give none ad this place is really with a Useless customer service with lot of waiting with a minimum of 45min to 1 hour for every visit

Fantastic experience: Dr Elias and staff were awesome and so comforting for an extraction of a tooth that has an abscess for my 5 year old. I was worried than she was. The total time there was just over 2 hours of the appt tome, but insurance verification was greatly appreciated bc I was aware of any fees prior to service being performed. Honestly wish all pediatric dentist offices had this touch!

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my son this morning at 8.45 am and checked in at 8.35 am. Waited an hour and even asked why a few times. The receptionist said about 10 minutes, and still sat there waiting. We saw some patients who came after us, and they already had their rooms, while my son and I still had to wait. Today is my working day, so I booked the earliest appointment for my son. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT? If I could select zero star, I would choose it. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: We have used this office for years and it’s always been great! Today in particular we had the pleasure of seeing Dr Lam, Nash & Janel with my daughter you ladies were awesome thank you so much! My son also had a procedure with Dr Mansman and Alyssa who were amazing ans well and even went above and beyond making sure my daughter had a dose of meds for pain control before we left! Thank you all sooo much for taking such great care of my children!

Positive experience: I had a severely traumatizing experience at this place when I was kid, where they’d give me bad trips because of the laughing gas and laugh at me as I cried, hallucinating severely and put weird glasses on me. And when you walked in there’d be kids screaming in the background. And the last time I was there (a couple years ago) they told me and my mom that I had an adult tooth coming in, then proceeded to pull out a tooth with barely enough anesthesia so I felt everything, and told them to stop but they didnt, and that tooth they pulled was the adult tooth. I havent been here in years and still suffer from Trauma and PTSD and am going to therapy, but it’s nice to see a place grow better, I wish this place good vibes hope it doesnt ever turn back into what it used to be.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Elias is nothing short of AMAZING!!! So kind, courteous, patient and friendly. He is so pleasant and his bedside manner is a so sweet. I wish more male doctors were like him.

Negative experience: Very disappointed that we can no longer bring all our children together for their appointments according to their new scheduling policy . We always arrive on time and don’t miss appointments . But it’s fine for you to make us wait almost an hour to be seen. Would not recommend this place if you have more than 2 children since you have to separate appointments on different days now !

Fantastic experience: Richard and Dr. Mahdi were wonderful, very engaging and kind. My child didn’t feel any fear at all during her cavity treatment. It was a fun and enjoyable experience for both me and my child to visit this clinic. Thank you for the excellent service!

Negative experience: If there was an option to give -10 stars I would. The wait times are horrible. There should be no reason as to why it takes over an hour to even be called back to a treatment room, only to have to wait an additional 30 minutes before the dentist even comes in. Time management is a skill that is lacking with this practice. Terrible. I see that their mission statement says they treat their patients as they would their own family. Definitely false. Oh and don’t ask why it’s taking so long or a copy of x-rays. They will kick you out. I know from first hand experience. To reject treatment for a child who is in pain is disgusting. I advise all parents to stay away from this practice, find another dentist who is punctual and kind. There are plenty of dentist around town where it won’t take a 5+ hours to be seen. Like the KiDDs Dental in Wormans Mill !

Positive experience: WAIT TIMES ARE HORRIBLE!! Why book so many kids at a time?!? I came in for a 10:30 a.m. appointment we weren't taken back until 11 :15. We weren't seen for a cleaning until 11:45 and then we proceeded to wait for the dentist for almost an hour!!! The staff and the dentist are all wonderful there. Everyone is very nice but there's no reason to book so many kids and make it inconvenient for everyone. I wasn't the only one asking about when my appointment time was. It's not fair to their staff or the patients. My child's appointment took over 2.5 hours.

They were amazing, such a fun group that took great care of my daughter and made the whole experience as enjoyable as a dental appointment can be. Negative experience: This place use to be great over the past two years it seems like it’s all been going down hill.. they over book you wait for hours at a time the staffs attitude have changed . Use to be much more welcoming just a better experience overall. Now it’s like waiting at hospital er room . No urgency here .

Negative experience: This office does not honor its appointment times. Not by a long shot! It's an extremely tough task to keep a toddler from losing their mind while sitting in a dentist's waiting from for prolonged periods of times. Not to mention, I have to take off work to take my children to their appointments and it's disrespectful to me and my obligations to not see my family within a reasonable amount of time of our appointment. Today there were parents waiting over an hour past their appointment time because this office "lost one of their dentists" and were trying to cram all appointments under one provider. I would have appreciated them calling me ahead of time and asking me to reschedule instead of wasting my time in the waiting room for 40 minutes. But again, they are severely late even when there isn't an unexpected staff shortage! Today, I ended up leaving before being seen because I don't have two hours of time to kill to wait at a dentist's office for a routine checkup. And I won't be coming back.

Negative experience: Arrived at 8:30 for an 8:45 appointment and checked in with the front desk. We were taken back a little before 930. I received a phone call from them at 9:11 despite being in the waiting room and they said they were just "checking to see if I was still there". I think maybe we didn't get fully checked in? At least one other family was waiting for 30+ minutes past the scheduled appointment time. It's not clear if this is normal for the practice or if it was an off day. The hygienist and dentist were kind and well-meaning, but they didn't acknowledge my husband during the appointment (continuously referencing "mom" but only once mentioning "dad"). I am going to evaluate what other dentists in the area are covered by our insurance, as it's difficult for two working parents to schedule around childcare, meetings, etc. for an appointment that is running 45 minutes behind. Waiting room was clean, many of the wall toys were broken. They also had TVs available playing kid show and a separate waiting area without TVs.

Fantastic experience: I would rate this office a 1000/10 without hesitation. Although I was initially apprehensive about driving an hour from home for my daughter’s dental procedure, I am incredibly grateful that I did. If I lived closer to Frederick, I would make this office my daughter’s primary care provider. Both Richard and Dr. Mahdi were exceptional in every regard. They made both my daughter and I feel completely at ease throughout the entire visit. They thoroughly explained each step of the process and kept my daughter laughing and comfortable the whole time. Their professionalism and enthusiasm are truly remarkable – it’s clear they are passionate about what they do and are perfectly suited for their roles.

Negative experience: We were sitting in there for 5 hours, they would start then leave out the room for about 30 minutes to work on someone else then would come back and leave again,I got a canker sore under my tongue from the way the lady would shove the tool in my mouth for x-rays I went June 28, the second appointment(July 10 )they worked on a filling, my tooth would hurt every time I ate, I got another canker sore,the third appointment (July 24)I told them how my tooth would hurt they claimed they fixed it and began working on my other tooth a few days past my tooth still hurts and is extremely sensitive after weeks from the second and third appointment which was July 24 and July 10th now august 9. I do not recommend the wait is extremely long there is so many people,there is a different dentist who works on your mouth every time they began something then leave, I have not had the same dentsist since the first appointment.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to the office for many many years. Aside from the fact that I receive minimally 3 phone calls to confirm EACH and every appointment I have found a saving grace with Angie. My son has had to come in frequently for some work but she has made our last few appointments a dream. Finding some folks with a great sense of humor and wonderful personality has made our experience much more tolerable. Dr. Mansmann. Negative experience: Waited over an hour after my dauthers appointment time to been seen. Once on the back took almost another hour for a regular cleaning. Now I'm back at a follow up and been waiting 30 mins for her to be called people arriving after us already been seen. Try to send email to management to make th aware of this situation but got no response back yet.

Negative experience: I took my son here for 3 years. The wait has always been terribly long for an office that sees children, they obviously overbook themselves constantly. The last time I took him in, the wait was over an hour, so we left. I tried cancelling on my way out and I couldn’t even speak with someone, I had to call. We are finding another dentist because this is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: My experience here was very very memorable. I so appreciate Dr Francis and his whole team for helping my kids feel comfortable and safe during their procedures. Dr Francis is very professional, a very kind person who is good with kids and does the job right!!!!! He's very transparent about what may or may not happen and he explains everything to you so that you'll be able to understand what's going on and what is it that you need to do in order to be able to help your little one. Mrs. Kayla and Ms. Lauren were awesome as well!!!! I'm from VA and I didn't even get this amount of info from my kid's old dentist, let alone be able to sit in the room with them while they did the procedure!!! Dr. Francis you and your team are a awesome and wonderful group of people who actually cares!!!! And even though there were a lot of other patients in the waiting room, that speaks volumes on how good this dentistry is. They are worth the wait. Again thank you for all of the information you gave me!!!!! I would recommend them and give them a 20/10, that's how pleased I was/am!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Richard and Dr. Mahdi were excellent with making sure my daughter was comfortable during her tooth extraction. So happy that I chose Pediatric Dental Center for my children’s needs.

Negative experience: Terribly late!!!! This place, I have to say, lacks professionalism. Always late due to over booking, didn’t hear any apologies from staff, do you really train your staff with customer service skills? They took people who came after us first, let us wait for more than 40 minutes?! No apology at all. And staff cannot explain why it is so late. Should train your staff again and make sure its not over so that patients can have their appointment on time. Its not like all parents have all day to wait there. Everyone has their job, cannot sit there all day to wait, VERY DISAPPOINTED. We will never come back, change the way you guys work!!!

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old needed to get dental work and Dr. Francis and his staff Lauren and Kayla were amazing with my son. They were very calm and reassuring with my son and showed and explained everything to him and made him comfortable. The longer drive from where I live to their office was well worth it and I will definitely be taking my son aswell as my other children to him and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. I have been to a few dentists with the kids over the years but never a place like this. Dr Lam, Jackie and Nash made my son feel so comfortable even when he got scared that he would have to get 2 teeth pulled. The tools they have are great with keeping the kids calm and comfortable. I have never seen another dentist have these tools! It definitely sped up the process so that Joey didn’t get so anxious. Going to switch all my kids here! Thanks so much.

Fantastic experience: Tiffany & Dre. Mansman was AMAZING !! My son was really nervous for his first cavity procedure. They made him feel at ease and even joked around to help him take his mind off things. I really enjoyed my visit and the staff was a 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lam was fantastic! We had a dental emergency over the weekend. She responded immediately and helped us through the trauma. We were able to get in with her on Monday morning for the needed repairs. Everything was done very well and looks great! Jackie asssisted and helped answer all of our questions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mansman is the absolute BEST!!! We were recommended to this pediatric dental office by our friends when we moved here and we are so glad they did!! My younger son has severe anxiety and had trouble on his check up. They recommended we bring him back to see Dr. Mansman and let them use Nitrous Oxide. I was very skeptical because I didn't think that would do the trick for my son given his severe anxiety. But Dr. Mansman was an absolute Godsend!! He had so much patience and the best bedside manner with my son! And was able to do everything he needed in one go, eliminating the possible need for a second appointment with more Nitrous Oxide. We couldn't be more thankful to him and his staff!! We highly recommend the practice!!

Fantastic experience: I originally left this practice because it was a very impersonal experience. We had to go back for a cleaning due to some insurance problems and again I felt the same way. Things changed totally when we went back for treatment. I cant say enough good things about dr. Francis! He was great with my kid and me. He explained everything and didn’t get up and rush to the next patient after us! He is the reason we will be going back. Everyone there is very nice but dr. Francis just went above and beyond!!!!

Fantastic experience: Tiffany and Dr. Mansman treated my three year old daughter today. Our visit was fantastic, they treated us wonderful and made us feel very comfortable. My daughter hasn’t stopped talking about the visit. She had two cavities fixed and laughing gas was utilized. She was so cute singing songs while under treatment. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: If you value your time, stay away from this place. This place is the pediatric version of Aspen Dental. IYKYK. My two children had an appointment at 10:15 so we got there at 10. I was immediately wary when I saw the sign at the front with the list of about ten new patients for that day. That’s a lot of new patients in one day, clearly this is a money grabbing place. We weren’t called back until around 11, give or take a bit. An employee starting taking out all the instruments and toothpaste while my son was in a chair so I thought she was going to clean his teeth but in a very Aspen Dental style, nope, someone else was going to come in for that. So we waited some more. Waiting for a long time is annoying enough when you’re by yourself but when you’re with small children who don’t have a lot of patience, it’s even harder and unfair to them. After about 10 minutes, I thought to look up reviews of this place and unsurprisingly read a lot about how long the wait times were. One of them said they had to wait an hour for the dentist after the hygienist finished. Obviously that’s unacceptable. My son had school(already missed half the day for this) and I have a life. One shouldn’t have to clear their day for a dentist appointment. Now after reading even more reviews, I definitely made the right decision. The wait time isn’t the only issue for this place(they threatened to call CPS on one patient so that’s crazy). No thank you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mansman is by far the BEST dentist I have ever taken my children too. My son had dental work done, was so relaxed/comfortable and didn’t cry one time during his appointment because Mansman was patient, kind, and caring. YOU ROCK DR. MANSMAN!!!

Fantastic experience: Stephanie was incredible for my son’s first cleaning! She also taught my daughter all about the tools to clean her teeth. Great experience!

Negative experience: This is the third time we've had to wait over an hour for a cleaning. My son's appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, and we arrived at 11:50 AM. He wasn't taken to the chair until 12:40 PM. He's been seated in the chair for 20 minutes, I just asked how much longer it would be, and I was told another 15 minutes. It's currently 12:59 PM. I can see the staff working hard. I am sorry that they are the ones who have to face upset and frustrated parents. I am sorry they have to apologize for having patients wait when it isn't their fault. It's clear that patients are being overbooked. To the owner: YOU NEED TO DO BETTER for both your staff and your patients!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend taking Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick! We are newer patients but Every time we have gone, we have had a great experience from scheduling, to wait time, to the actual appointment. Today we saw Dr. Mahdi for a tooth extraction and he was fantastic! Gloria and Gem also assisted us today and they were so sweet and professional! We are happy to be new clients with them. Updated Review-10/3/24 My daughter needed to have another tooth extraction to make room for a spacer she will be needing because her teeth are so crowded. Both Dr. Mansman and Tiffany were absolutely wonderful. They were professional but funny and made the procedure so easy for my daughter. I highly recommend taking your kiddos here. Katie T.

Fantastic experience: Richard & Dr Mahdi are both AMAZING!! My toddler took instantly to Richard both times we were in the office this week! Not only does he calm kids & make them smile, but he CARES about the patients— and he made the X-Ray & Treatment process seamless today. Dr. Mahdi has incredible bedside manner, a common trait among the staff at PDC! During their cleanings earlier this week, just like during my son’s treatment today— Dr. Mahdi not only explains what he is going to do beforehand, he also allows the kids to get comfortable with any tools that may be used & allows them to choose everything from the smell during nitrous-oxide, to flouride, to what color popsicle they want afterwards! We have used PDC as our ONLY dentist for all 4 of our children for a decade & I would make the 30 min trip every month if need be because finding great providers, who make your kids feel safe, welcome, cared for & actually ENJOY the dentist is RARE!!!

Fantastic experience: Angie, Ashley, Paulena, and Dr. Francis are absolutely amazing today! They got my baby in and out and ended up getting unexpected oral care done instantly. Everyone was so lovely and Ashley even let my daughter watch the whole process on her brother! I highly recommend Pediatric Dental Center if Frederick! Always so amazing

Fantastic experience: Went to my daughter first dentist appointment today with Richard and Dr Mahdi. I’m blown away with how wonderful they were with her. She doesn’t normally like strangers in her face but they counted and sang to her the whole entire time. It was the most amazing experience and these guys will teach your children to love the dentist and not fear it. Getting an appointment was so quick and easy. They really really care about the children here. I’m so glad this place was recommended to me!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mahdi and Richard were phenomenal with my daughter during her dental work! They made it so light hearted and kept us informed the entire time. It definitely shows that Dr Mahdi is very experienced with working with children. I feel at peace knowing my son, who has dental anxiety, will have a good experience with them in just a few weeks.

Fantastic experience: My children & I love this office! Such adequate dentistry & speedy care. My sons always enjoy coming to visit because the atmosphere alone is so inviting. This visit we were assisted by ms.maritza & dr.francis, we were in & out in 20mins. No long waiting after check-in & the rewards program for the children when checking out makes it even better to get them to be excited about their next appointment as well.

Fantastic experience: We had a great visit today- I was ecstatic to find out that they could treat my kiddo the same day as they eval’d him since we are about an hour away. They were SO quick, practiced and smooth… it was like watching a dance. Tiffany and Dr Mansman took great care of Asher and both explained to me what was going on. Their level of experience was obvious. Very pleased with our visit!

Negative experience: Dr. manmans will not respect or value your time and will tell you to find another doc after running an hour behind schedule. Will runaway from your raising concerns and cowardly run to one of his nurses to tell you, he will not be serving your child. I’m reporting him to the board. Update to office response. Nice try. I waited 30 minutes before treatment was discussed and the treatment from the dentist cannot be excused under any circumstances. It was completely rude and inconsiderate.

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr Francis twice and he did a wonderful job putting my 12 year old at ease for her cleaning and fillings. He’s efficient, thorough, professional, and makes sure the patient is comfortable. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I had an 3:45 appointment for Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick with one of the surgical dentist in the back that work on cavities for my daughter. We showed up to her appointment early for the appointment the office had us waiting in the back till 4:40 I was tired and frustrated because I had another appointment to go to. 4:45 The doctor make his way in the room we are waiting, so I asked him “are you guy really running an hour late “ he replied with “what was your appointment time?” I said “3:45 “ so he replies rudely and say” looks like we are “ then storms out the room as I try to ask him why was the wait was so long. I was waiting for the denial assistance to come back so I could request another doctor to work on my child mouth because I his attitude. The dental assistant walks in to inform me that they will no longer be processing with my appointment and the doctor will not be rescheduling my daughter because I questioned him about being an hour late. I will not be coming to this dental office and I report the doctor that was supposed to be see my daughter this was very unprofessional and I don’t feel like me asking him was wrong if you don’t have the patience to work with people when they are frustrated about your mistreatment as a patient this is not the job for you. They will cancel and make you pay a fine for being 15 mins late but discontinued service to my daughter because they were an hour late. I would not recommend if you live far or value your time. Ps I couldn’t give 0 stars And tell my story!!

Fantastic experience: I ve been taking my 2 daughters for the last few years. I m very satisfied. I do recommend Dr Francis and his assistant Teffany. They are very patient and explains very well every step while treating. My daughter did extractions, crowns, and composites with no pain. I m very happy with the results. Fantastic experience: Best experience ever!!! Maritza, Diana and Dr Lamb were awesome, so patient and caring. Despite my son being a kid with special needs, they were able to work it out. He got Xrays done, a tooth removed, cleaning, with tartar removal as well. I could not imagine that it would be possible, but I am so glad that it happened. Thanks to this wonderful team❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Richard is amazing, so personable with the kids and parents. So friendly place. Kids get excited to come here. Ms. Stephanie was super gentle and kind with the kids. She was teaching them what to do and their brushing routine. Oliver says it’s the best dental place in the entire world! and toys at the end! Dr. Lam was amazing too. This is the first time kids met her, they loved her!
