Fantastic experience: I love how patient and kind the staff is with children. My daughter is a rough patient and they are so sweet and kind and work so well to get her calm and worked on.

Fantastic experience: First trip to the dentist for our kiddo was fabulous! No cavities and raving reviews from the doctor and staff! Lancaster Pediatric Dentistry office Is super efficient and offers a calm quiet atmosphere. They have a secret room (with a little entrance and window for parents to peek through) for kids to play with toys and watch cartoons. Our appointment was at 12, we arrived early anticipating paperwork. We were all done and back In the car by 12:06. They did a thorough cleaning, x-rays, and review with the DDS. Very smooth and easy visit for our kiddo.

Fantastic experience: EVERYONE is so friendly! The dentist and the hygienist were absolutely amazing. So patient and understanding with my kid who had a fear of going to the dentist. Explaining everything along the way was so helpful in calming his nerves.

Fantastic experience: Hands down then best dentist I have ever taken my kids to! We drive almost two hours to get here and do so happily. It is worth the drive to have a good experience and to know that my babies are being well taken care of. Also, they get so excited to use the “gumball machine” token to get a prize after their cleanings. My favorite thing is that there are two patient chairs in one area so my kids can get their teeth cleaned by two different hygienists at the same time. It makes the trip that much easier to not be sitting in the office any longer than we have to be. They seem to always be running right on time as well so short waiting room times.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, even better clinical treatment! Consult for my 6y/o went well. Dr. Draney explained the problem & procedure thoroughly. We followed up a few weeks later for the dental procedure, scheduling was a bit difficult, but worked out well. Dr. Nicole completed the procedure with a team of specialists for anesthetics. My son was very well cared for, and we are very happy with his results! Huge thank you to the entire team!

Fantastic experience: This was my best experience at a doctors office I’ve ever had, let alone a pediatric doctor. I was waiting 6 months for this appointment and even with the reminders somehow forgot my appointment, and when they called 10 minutes past I jumped in the car and called on the way, and they graciously still made room for us in the schedule. I sincerely apologized but even before that, they were extremely kind and helpful, and took SUCH good care of my 2 year old at her first dentist appointment. I walked in almost in tears because of forgetting and being late, but by the end was so thankful for their help and professional and friendly care! Hygenist was especially good with kids.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to have teeth pulled the explained everything that was going to happen was very nice to my daughter and afterwards the answered any questions we had about the after care.

Positive experience: They do well with the children here. I just wish I could get a straight answer on what age they stop seeing them. They tell me 12 yes, but someone know was told 18. It would be nice to have a straight answer so I can plan accordingly for my son's care.

Fantastic experience: Took my 3 year old daughter there today (4/23/25) for her first ever appointment and they were absolutely wonderful with her. She was scared to go and they made her so comfortable that she laid there and let them do everything and didn't fight,complain or anything. Definitely a 5 star rating

Negative experience: If I can give 0 I would I could never ever go back I’ve never been treated so bad and disrespected I understand they don’t deal with patients that have heart conditions but when I tell you the lack of sympathy and the little knowledge they had based on my daughter prior to this experience we loved them never had an issue till my youngest needed a cavity fix again she has a heart condition because of it she has to take antibiotics prior to the procedure the appointment was early the pharmacy refused to let me pick it up till 45 mins to an hour prior to the appointment her appointment was so early that pharmacies were closed so I called them the lady was so rude blamed me told me you had weeks to get it etc being so rude I was in disbelief so I explained to her what not only the cardiologist told me but the pharmacist and I have to follow their orders before e dentist! They rescheduled same day at 1245 we get there there in a meeting and won’t be out till 130 my daughter again has a heart condition one thing goes wrong she’s dead the medicine wares off she’s dead did they care nope 130 they came to get me I was terrified but none of them understood the seriousness behind her condition instead the lady ignored me waved me off they were so mean and rude that my kids were telling me that they were being mean I waited for the cardio’s okay then I got a message stating no it’s not okay so I advised I’m leaving she tells me they want to speak to me so they take me back to this room as she’s trying to convince me that my daughter was safe till have again she was so rude rolling her eyes when I looked at her and told her that cardiology told me it wasn’t she was speechless NOW if my daughter didn’t have me and If I was one of those people that trusted them my daughter could of very much have been taken from me! ADVOCATE FOR YOUR KIDS AND PLEASE TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DEGREE DOESNT MEAN THEY KNOW WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK WORST EXPERIENCE AND ONE OF THE most scary days OF MY LIFE

Fantastic experience: They make the kids feel special and safe. My child trusts them and is comfortable during cleanings, filings. She actually looks forward to going to the dentist . Blessed to have them providing dental care to my child!

Fantastic experience: Every person we encountered explained everything they were going to be doing to not only my husband and I but also to our son having the procedure. This made us all feel comfortable and well informed which made the experience much less scary for all of us. This was my sons first time being sedated and because of the time taken to make us feel safe and confident in what was being done, it was an excellent experience.

Negative experience: You guys used to be so accommodating and helpful and now that you are so big you don't care Draneys passion for teeth care to staff is not reaching out we were one of the first families when he moved to Lancaster and we are not important.

Fantastic experience: I never have a bad experience when I bring my daughter her. Everyone is always so kind and accommodating to my daughter being autistic. They genuinely make our trips in much more do able because they are so patient with us because of her being a special needs child. 10/10 recommend every time

Fantastic experience: My son was 2 and a half when he went for his very first dental cleaning. The hygienist and the dentist were both extremely patient with him and did a great job making his first visit a HUGE success!! My son is also a little uneasy around men and they accommodated this with having all females see him. Would 1000% recommend

Fantastic experience: They we excellent with my daughter who is on the autism spectrum and really struggles with dental visits. It was clear that the hygienist, Kayla, was well trained on how to handle patients with special needs. She was amazing!

Negative experience: Extreme difficulty with scheduling makes the great service provided by dental staff irrelevant. Our second appointment was 2 months late due to no room on the schedule. During that appointment, I was told I could call back in January to schedule for the next cleaning, which was due in June. When I called in January to schedule the next cleaning, the receptionist said "We can't schedule that far out, we'd never have any appointments. Call back in April." When I called back in April, their next available was in August. We have switched to Comfort Dental for ease of scheduling and helpful reception staff, to ensure appointments are on time as recommended by Dentists.

Fantastic experience: Another very satisfying visit❤️ we love the staff at Lancaster pediatric dentistry. Very informative and take their time with each child. We always do our 3 kids together and never feel like we are being rushed over. Melody took her time today making each one of our kids individually feel comfortable and heard. She even inspired my 4year old to be a dentist. And shout out to the Dentist (I can't remember her name) but amazing! She was fantastic and the kids loved her, patient, kind and took her time. Fantastic experience: Dentist and dental hygienist are always so patient with our kids no matter which one it is. We have been bringing all 4 at the same time for years now. 1 of the 4 has autism and are great with them. They do not force any treatment, which can be a scary thing. Always trying there best to make all of the kids feel comfortable getting cleaning’s. I wish I had this type of dentist when I was younger. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: My son had a procedure Wednesday may 14th and I have zero complaints . The dentist explained everything really well and made sure i understood 100% what was going to happen before it happened . I think as moms we tend to worry a lot about things that are not really a big deal . When I went back out into the waiting room I was at ease and I knew he was getting the best care . 10/10 recommend . He gives them a 10/10 as well .

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! The nurses and doctors are so up beat and great with the kids. They have a nice little play "nook" area for the kids while they wait. My son (who's only 3) loved it and has already asked to go back! Would definitely recommend 100%!

Fantastic experience: My three children have had great care at Lancaster Pediatric Dentistry! Today my toddler had to receive general anesthesia for a dental procedure at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Dr. Rachel Patenaude did an amazing job! She explained everything beforehand and answered all my questions. She came back after the procedure to go over aftercare instructions and answer any remaining questions. The entire staff did a great job putting my mind at ease and making sure my child was comfortable!

Negative experience: Absolutely the best pediatric dentist office I have ever been to. I miss Andrew but love DR Jess also. She is always willing to listen and explain everything to me and she is always kind to my children❤️❤️ Update to my previous 4 years here they have since changed the way they do the follow up scheduling and it puts my children in a position where they are getting cleanings every 9-12 months vs every 6 months and when I voiced my opinion on it I was told I could take them to comfort dental

Fantastic experience: Everyone, receptionists, dental assistants, and dentists we encountered were kind and helped my 9 yr old son (who is usually VERY fearful of the dentist) feel calm while also respecting him and explaining his whole procedure to him. We were pleased with the care we received there.

Fantastic experience: I brought my son here for an appointment to check his teeth. The dental assistant was amazing addressing our concerns and working with him to get his X-rays all done. She educated him on his loose teeth and told him he was just getting his big boy teeth. He is excited for his future appointments. Super friendly and amazing with my kiddo.

Fantastic experience: My son (three y/o) had his first visit today at Lancaster Pediatric Dentistry, and I am so extremely pleased with the place and people. Everyone; the front staff, the hygienist, and the doctor, were all fantastic people and very interactive with my son. Every single person we came across was friendly and built rapport with him to make him feel comfortable. I was very nervous to see how he would respond to the new place, but he warmed up quickly with the help of all the staff! It was such a relief to me, as a mom and as someone who works in a doctor’s office myself, to see everything handled so professionally yet still in a way that allowed my child to have fun. We have a procedure set up for my son so we will be back, and I will be recommending this location to as many parents with littles as I can. Thank you, Dr. Nycole!

Fantastic experience: Brought in my 16mo old for a chipped tooth. They were so patient while he was uncomfortable and freaking out. We ended up getting a successful xray done and will be back! Wonderful experience, it went a lot better than I thought it would!

They have always reassured my son and made things fun and didn't make it just a dreaded dentist appt. My son hasn't had a problem! Fantastic experience: The staff is always courteous and helpful. My child has cerebral palsy and the staff takes their time with her so she doesn't get stressed out. Dr. George was great with my daughter. He spoke to her and put her at ease, was able to calm a nervous girl down. And so was Tiffany, she really would take time to stop and listen to my daughter. Great staff.

With great compliments and encouragement from the nurse and doctor we made it out just fine!! Once again all around great experience and I would definitely recommend this practice!! 4-7-2025 Another great visit for the kids!!!! The ladies here are phenomenal 100%!!! I recommend anyone looking for a pediatric dentist to check them out!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Draney, Gina, Shelby (and anyone I forgot to mention) were absolutely amazing today during Bailey’s partial sedation procedure! Bailey is autistic so we always worry taking her to the dentist, but Dr. Draney explained everything to us and made sure we were fully informed and prepared. The entire staff put us at ease and made for a great experience! They also worked at lightning speed and the entire procedure was over super fast! I highly recommend Lancaster Pediatric Dentistry. If your child has autism (or even if they don’t), you are definitely in the right place! The staff are caring, kind, gentle, and fast.

Fantastic experience: Our 1st visit today went so well. Everyone was so nice and im glad I made the commute to make myself and my daughter to feel so comfortable and at ease.

Fantastic experience: I called with an emergency and they were quick to call me right back, and they got my granddaughter scheduled within a couple hours. Also, I was at work and couldn’t take her myself and I work out of town so I couldn’t go sign a paper for them to let somebody else bring her in so they let me do it with a verbal consent Which helps so much when I’m in a bind like I was. They are so nice and great with the kids. Couldn’t ask for better people to be working there Thank you all so much for the work that you do and for being super sweet to these kids

Fantastic experience: Great place for nervous kids! My 6 year old was so nervous, he was in the parking lot crying until Jesse came out and talked to him and got him to come in. He was so proud of himself afterward and actually wants to go back now! We wouldn't have made it through the door without her assistance. The kindness she showed my son We are so grateful to their whole team!

Fantastic experience: Always the best care with the best team! Lancaster is a bit of a drive for us, but it’s always well worth it to know my kids are getting the BEST care. I always compare them to the children’s hospital, if you know how amazing the care is there, then you’ll understand what I mean when I say this dentist it top their!

Negative experience: The dentist we dealt with was very pleasant. He seems very knowledgeable, kind great bedside table, warm and welcoming. Explain things, never made you feel rushed. Very open to questions. I would give a higher star review for him, and the ladies upfront are very nice and helpful. However, I would probably give a one Star review for the anesthesiologist team that they hire and bring in. Granted my daughter woke up, and is ok, so I am thankful for that. My daughter had surgery today. We had been practicing at home working on her nerves explaining what would happen she is 8. We got there everything was going OK. Met with the dentist again. She was even feeling OK about the situation until the anesthesiologist came in. He was very old, horrible bedside manner, especially for a child. Honestly just seemed very scary, and mean. My daughter then went with My Husband to a different room. Where she was very aware that she would need to lay down and put a mask on. But she was met with a room full of people just staring at her, no one being warm and welcoming or anyone just being kind and friendly to her. Someone should’ve been in there understanding that they’re dealing with a terrified child. And try to ease them into the situation. She was met with another man who basically told My Husband he needed to grab her and hold her down instantly. He tried to ask if she could have a minute as another person then blocked the door and made her feel trapped and even more afraid. Then they basically told him no, then Man handled her to put the mask on. She is beyond traumatized from the situation. Has also been complaining about her ankle more than even the mouth surgery that she had. Because she said the one man twisted her ankle. Don’t get me wrong. I know she was screaming freaking out. And losing it by that point. But I feel like they did not really try to make it feel safe or uncanny, Or put the time in to make her feel comfortable it felt very rushed even My Husband said he was scared. And completely understand why she got so upset. I hope someone reads this and this situation can be remedied because I think the doctors there are great. But I definitely think that there is a better way, not so traumatizing. I hope they figure that out quickly so no other child has to go through that traumatic experience. I wish that we were both able to go back with her because I definitely would’ve advocated harder for her, she just felt so unheard and like she wasn’t given a chance!!! I feel so bad I wasn’t there to do so. My Husband said he tried, but also felt very pressured and rushed and uncomfortable himself. And didn’t know what to do.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nycole has been amazing every time. Especially with children like mine who suddenly develop anxiety during dental appointments. I can’t remember the hygienist name who we have almost every time, but she has been amazing too. From the ladies at the front desk, to the checkout process. They are all so great.

Positive experience: The loud exit counter makes it hard to sensory kids. You couldn’t even hear the receptionist at the front counter. Definitely needs separate area.
