Negative experience: I am not one to leave reviews good or bad, but this is my child’s experience that I was not ok with. I decided on this dental place because of the reviews. Majority of the reviews were really positive and decided to give them a try! From the beginning my experience was a little skeptical in the sense that my reminders were for different times and then when I confirmed I received another messaged that I had not confirmed and my appointment would be cancelled. Once I get there, I sign in at my scheduled time. My child didn’t have an issue waiting, but I did as I waited for over an hour. This was his first appointment at the dentist ever and this is my first impression and was not impressed. I only received one update as to the delay and they said it was because the doctor was doing a procedure. Which I understand that happens, but never again updated. Once we were finally taken to the back, the area is not in individual rooms. Once again, I had to wait for the doctor. Once we got the doctor, she didn’t even introduce herself. She tried to put the napkin on him and he turned his head away. The doctor didn’t even try to work with him or talk to him and try again. She immediately told me that I would have to hold his legs on my waist and his head on her lap to do his check up. My child was really happy and excited at first but the fact that she didn’t bother to talk to him and the proceed to force brush his teeth, he was not a happy camper. I don’t think she’s good with kids and I will not be going back to this place. I truly regret scheduling an appointment here. The one positive is the hygienist I got was VERY friendly and tried to talk to my son.

Negative experience: Very bad experience! Would not recommend this place! Whoever answered the phone today at 8:40am should be fired. Very unprofessional, argumentative and very rude. Also, concerning appointment's they do not return calls and the dentist does not respond to emergencies. If you care about your child’s dental health please take them elsewhere.

Negative experience: Dr. Sandra Mbibi's bedside manner was appalling, and solely responsible for my decision to never return to, or recommend this clinic. Our initial visit in February was promising. Diamond, the hygienist, was kind and patient with my 4 yr old, even allowing me to take a picture of her cleaning my daughter’s teeth. My 2yr, did not have his teeth brushed which was odd, but they said his looked fine. The hygienist who saw my 9 month old was equally efficient and gentle. However, the experience with Dr. Mbibi was a stark contrast. Scheduling my daughter's crown procedure turned out to be a nightmare. We initially wanted a Saturday appointment but the next available one wasn’t available for another 2 months! We then agreed to book for the earliest Friday appt (which was still a month out). My husband rearranged his work schedule to care after our younger two. A week before our scheduled appointment, the office called, pushing us to come in that day due to overbooking. When I refused, they mentioned we could come in on a Saturday in mid April! When I said we already made arrangements, she said she would call back and did not. I called later to make sure we would still be seen on our agreed upon day and time. Fortunately we were. While there were nine other children arriving simultaneously after us, we were taken to the back relatively soon about 25min. Dr. Mbibi's entrance was abrupt and rude. Her initial greeting was dismissive, and her subsequent comments were shockingly unprofessional. Her dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were unacceptable. Here is a transcript of our interaction: Dr. Sandra Mbibi: rude tone “oh hello” Me: cheerily “why hello there!” Dr: “I GUESS I’ll be doing her crowns today.” Me: “You guess?!” She ignores me Dr: “I’m not sure how she’ll do” Me: “Well neither do I, this is our first time doing this” Dr: “Mine too” Me: “YOURS TOO??” Dr: more attitude “My first time seeing her.” Me: “Well yes, this is our only second time coming here….” There were other things like her getting really ugly about me texting my husband. She thought I was recording her and said I was “making it awkward”. I assured her I wasn’t, as I could read all the signs saying no photography or recording (nothing about sending a quick text) and asked her to please focus on my daughter. I WISH I would’ve recorded our interaction! This experience, particularly Dr. Mbibi’s behavior, completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our initial visit. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to seek pediatric dental care with someone else.

Negative experience: Today I had my daughter’s braces and bonding removed. When we began her treatment we were told we were paying for a 24 month plan Which would realign her teeth and provide a retainer at the end. Approximately 10 months later our son was diagnosed with a brain malformation and due to the time and expense involved with his care we asked that the payments and treatment be put on hold. Around the twenty month mark we paid the entire 24 month program off with hopes of resuming service. At that point the office told us we would have to pay for an additional 10 months as she only had two months remaining from the first plan. We had only missed two appointments without calling so if you remove those two we should have still had 12 appointments remaining because we paid for it. So our problem is with the business administration. We paid for treatment that we were never able to make use of and there were no additional doctors visits missed so in my mind that’s Fraud. They were also paid to provide a retainer which then refused to return payment for. Make sure you are able to pay up front and that you make all of your visits on time.
