Fantastic experience: Love the courtesy, love the attention the entire staff gives to my daughter and all the other kids I see in there. It's a blessing to see people have such an understanding and appreciation to children. Our team really took care of my daughter and made her feel as comfortable as possible, from someone that knows having dental work done can be at times difficult to endure, but she was completely fine. Fantastic experience: Our daughter broke her front tooth (adult) a few days ago which is a significant emotional event for any kid. Ms. Melanie/Ms. Leslie and Dr. Walker and her team were fantastic in getting it rapidly fixed. This has been our family dentist for the last 8 years and have been great. It could get busy and they are short staffed so communication can be hard with the front desk but the team will do their best in addressing their patients.

Fantastic experience: I took my son Jaxon to his dental appointment yesterday, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding of his needs. They took their time with him, explained everything in a way he could understand, and made sure he felt comfortable the whole time. It’s not easy finding a dental office that truly gets how to work with kids, especially those who may need a little extra support — but they went above and beyond. I’m so grateful for how they treated Jaxon and how smoothly everything went. We left with smiles all around! Highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring and accommodating dental team.

You could tell him nothing he was smiling from ear to ear..Stuff very helpful. They explain everything that was going happen. They are so great at this office. All the workers that we come in contact with they very nice helpful. He got his 4 teeth pulled and stuff is great. I’m very happy with this place.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit here with my son. It was my son's first dentist appointment ever. He has some pretty bad cavities that occurred while I was fighting to get him insurance. I felt so guilty, and ashamed honestly, that I couldn't afford to get it fixed until now. I say that only to explain how amazing everyone here treated us. I never felt judged. Not once. They were extremely supportive and gentle to my son throughout the whole process. Despite the lobby being packed as they we're opening, I got everything done (cleaning, X-ray, fluoride, exam, ect) within an hour which was impressive and shows how well everyone worked together.The guy who helped me at the desk was funny and very clear at explaining everything through the process. Thank you all so much for such an uplifting environment and experience today!!

Fantastic experience: I was confused about the time of my appointment so I arrived an hour earlier and the front desk clerk she helped me get in a few minutes later, my son was taken care of immediately his experience was great, the staff is also amazing and the doctor in charge is extremely supportive, compassionate and knowledgeable

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with this place, specifically the orthodontics side. Some of the staff get snappy when you ask for a specific time of day. If you don’t take the time they offer, you’re forced to wait 4–5 weeks for the next available appointment. God forbid my son has a broken bracket who knows how long it would take for them to actually fit him in? Today is June 30, and they called to confirm my son’s July 3 appointment. I told them we couldn’t make it and asked to reschedule. The guy told me the next available isn’t until sometime in September 17. That’s nearly three months out. I feel that I’m being penalized because I need to reschedule. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone, unless I disliked them. I honestly wish we never got braces with them.

Positive experience: I've changed my view due to at our visit today my son and I walk to the back for his cleaning and they have a dog in there all vets are petting this dog and none washed their hands just put hand sanitizer like it would take away the germs from the dog my son is highly allergic and I will say a dog DOES NOT BELONG IN A DENTIST specially in the back where all the cleaning is being done very unsanitary and to know this was not the 1st time this dog was there AND IT WAS NOT A SERVICE DOG I wanted to say something so bad but I held my kool because I didn't want to make a scene but I did tell the guy at the front desk and I pray this gets handled and dogs are no longer allowed at a dentist office

Fantastic experience: They are awesome! It was my 3.5 yr olds very first dentist appt ever so of course she was all over the place and the docs/nurses were so patient and gentle with her. I was able to let them know of some hereditary dental issues in my family as well and they assured me they would keep an eye out for anything with her. They’re truly the best!

Fantastic experience: The dentist we had was amazing with my daughter. My daughter was terrified going in there for the first time but the dentist reassured her and made her laugh the whole time and enjoy her experience.

You were able to get us in, taken care of, and out shortly after our appointment time. Nothing felt rushed and I felt like I was speaking with normal people and not a corporation. All my questions were answered and the attitudes of everyone was fantastic!

Positive experience: I really love this place with some of their staff are rude when you call. And this is not something that’s been an issue in the past . Also, I think that the desire to keep making more and more money by accepting more and more patience as prioritizing, long-term patience, less less. While we wait months and months for one appointment, that will probably also lead to months and months to the resolution Appointment I’ll be seeking new care. I am sad to go but they’re not getting any better it’s worse and I’m just sick of the rude man at front desk when asking questions “if we’re not meeting you’re needs you can go else where” when that wasn’t my question!!!! Greed is killing this once great place !

Fantastic experience: The lady who did my children’s cleaning was phenomenal!!! I believe her name was Brittany. She was so patient with my daughter who is extremely terrified of the dentist. She talked her through everything and really took her time to ensure my daughter felt comfortable with everything she was doing. It was also my son’s first ever dentist appointment and she did great with him as well! He didn’t mind it a bit. Thank you so much Brittany for being so understanding and helpful! Cumberland Pediatric should be proud to have someone like Brittany on their team!

Positive experience: I’m only giving 3 stars because of the information that was given to me by David at CPDO. I was told that my child didn’t need to take her seizure medicine prior to the morning of her appointment to have dental work done and after the procedure someone else told me that I should discontinue all her medications for the rest of the day. I quickly contacted her neurologist and her nurse stated that every patient they see MUST have their seizure medication BEFORE every procedure no matter what and she also said that it was stated in her medical record. She’s had dental work done back in October of last year and I was told that there was no record of her taking the medication the last time which I know is a lie. Other than that, the dentist done an amazing job BUT missing doses of her medication puts her at risk of having seizures due to someone being careless and not looking in her chart.

Fantastic experience: Great staff!!!!! The staff was so professional, precise and timely. They were very patient with my son and walked me through every step of the sedation process and if any changes that arose. Very great care for my four year old. He was nervous and they reassured him and gave him little prizes. The dentist explained everything to me, as the dental assistant and the billing clerk. I really like how serious and how everyone was on one accord with communication. The process went well and was very comfortable. Can't say I would want him to get more cavities to return, but if we need to go anywhere it'll be Cumberland.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Brittney on The Cleaning side and Heather on Ortho side. They always make sure we have an amazing experience each time. We have 7 children and you would think that would be stressful taking them all at once but they have made it such a smooth and seamless experience each time. We absolutely love coming here , they make it amazing. Dr.Walker always gives thorough details for each kid, making sure we understand exactly what is happening. We will continue to go here as long as they’re here

Negative experience: I have taken my son here multiple times and usually have the best experience. He has ADHD and is a super anxious newly 6 year old. Typically it’s not an issue and the dental assistant’s make him feel super comfortable and help with his experience. Today was so different. Today the assistant seemed like she had no patience for him and he was her first patient of the morning. Something splashed into his eye while he was getting his teeth cleaned by her and he quickly sat up to rub his eye and get whatever it was out. He kept rubbing it trying to alleviate his pain and mentioned it was burning and all the dental assistant seemed to be concerned about was lecturing him that he couldn’t sit up while she was trying to clean and then eager for him to lay back down so she could finish. Not once did she ask if he was okay or comfort him. At this point he didn’t want to cooperate to lay down because his eye was still burning and tearing and she was sitting there in silence not helping to reassure him or anything. He felt not an ounce of comfortability with her after that. Thankfully the Dentist herself was a gem and he laid down for her as she explained to him in a friendly way that she had a few teeth to “tickle and count” which made my son smile and cooperate. When we got to the car he told me he became scared and then felt like the assistant didn’t care so he wanted to leave. It has taken 2 years for my son to finally get X-rays today and it felt while we took a huge leap forward getting him not be nervous and now took a few steps back with him trusting who is cleaning his teeth. If you don’t have the skills to make kids feel comfortable during an extremely vulnerable time for them, heck even adults are nervous about the dentist, then maybe you need additional training or to seek a different profession.

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist office. I have been in Clarksville for along time and I just wish I knew about this place soon for my older kids. Unfortunately there are a few dentist offices that don’t have the best intention when it comes to working on your teeth and I have been there first hand.

The office was bright, kid-friendly, and even had fun distractions to keep her entertained. So thankful her first dental visit was such a positive one!

Fantastic experience: The amount of patience and support this office has given me and my son over the past two weeks is genuinely the BEST medical care I have ever received in my eight years of parenting. When they discovered my 4 year old’s infection and told us he would need to have a tooth extracted, I was so nervous, especially with how long we were told we’d have to wait for the surgery. They gave us medication that didn’t seem to help his pain, and so I felt I needed to advocate for him. For the first time, I genuinely didn’t even feel like it was “advocating” because they were SO RECEPTIVE. The nurse line texted me back so quickly and gave me advice while also communicating the issues to our doctor. She was texting me on and off for probably 5 days. His surgery was originally scheduled for July, but due to his suffering over the past week, they moved him up to TODAY. The comfort both myself and my son felt today genuinely amazes me. I’m so unbelievably thankful for this practice and have nothing but amazing things to say! THANK YOU for helping relieve my son’s pain and bringing his spark back, despite your insanely busy schedule!

He felt so comfortable with his hygienist. I only had to wait 5 minutes and we were seen, cleaned, and sent on back home with a toy from the treasure box. My 5yr old is autistic and when I tell you the patience of these people is amazing.... they took their time, went as his pace and where able to actually scrap/clean his teeth without him freaking out and with the help of the ABC's song about 12 times! Bri I believe was our technicians name, was absolutely amazing with him!! We have been to 3 dental clinics between here and Hopkinsville and the fact that we actually found a place that is willing to work with him and his needs, is amazing! Fantastic experience: Love his dentist office they are always kind and caring about their kiddos.the employees are always nice and smiling and are always ready for any questions you throw at them. They are very patient with my 4yr old which I love cause he can be a handful. He was suppose to have his teeth worked on but he was fighting the sleepy juice so they were not able to. They were all nice about the situation so they came up with another alternative which we had to reschedule but all in all there were good with him and they didn't try to force him to get his teeth worked on. I love this dentist office they really considered the children's feelings and their comfort level

Fantastic experience: I'm only doing this one time, because the boys are twins Warren and Antwan Davis. I got the paperwork on my phone and it was easy to follow. The time we got there we waited for about 20 minutes before we got called to the back. The boys were verry happy with the ladies and the doctor.

Negative experience: Parents please read! I wish I could give even less stars. If they recommend your child go under “oral conscious sedation” DO NOT DO IT. They gave my son Demerol and Valium crushed up in a liquid. (He’s 9 and has ADHD and ODD) he was unable to take his meds the morning of (no food or drink after midnight). After he was completely out of it they brought him back alone. When I originally made the appointment I explained to the woman at the front desk that my son had disabilities and can become hostile if given a direct command (again he has ODD and is normally medicated for this) the front desk staff said it wouldn’t be a problem and they would allow me back with him. Fast forward 3 months to the appointment day, he’s ready to go in and they don’t allow me back. So I asked the assistant taking him why it changed and she stated “you were explained this when scheduling but if he isn’t doing well we will come get you”. 15 minutes later another assistant comes back out and tells me they can’t proceed because he became aggressive when they strapped him to a chair and began trying to work in his mouth. All of it could have been avoided by fully sedating in the first place. However now, my child is terrified to go back to any dentist. The “Office Manager” was a condescending piece of work who couldn’t understand the mistakes that the facility had just made. A complaint has already been filed with the board of Dentistry and an investigation will take place against Dr. Nick Carlson. Please do not be like me, do your research before agreeing to allow them to do anything to your child other than a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Cumberland Pediatrics was very knowledgeable & exemplified professionalism in their overall approach towards rectifying the plethora of issues associated with my son's teeth. And trust me, when I say PLETHORA I mean "plethora". For them I am extremely appreciative and I look forward to working with them throughout this journey.

Negative experience: I would normally talk so nice of this place but after this morning I have different thoughts on them. My daughter had an appointment to get some teeth pulled. Come in at the time said and go to check in and have a little difficulty finding my care card. So I said I'd call to find out what's going on. The receptionist never said ok well until you pay we won't do any care on your daughter. So I'm outside trying to figure things out when my husband comes out and says they told us we took to long and will have to reschedule. What the hell reschedule we've never been treated like this were if you don't pay first we don't do anything. This is ridiculous that my husband takes a day off work for you guys to turn us away instead of still doing the treatment. We were there on time that you could of still started on time. But you guys choose not to because you wanted money first which usually I never paid till after the treatment anyways. I'm very disappointed in my experience with how you guys conducted yourselves. Very very disappointing

Fantastic experience: My kid is traumatized from a past experience somewhere else and the amount of patience the staff had was unbelievable, they were overly accommodating and helpful. I am so thankful of the time the doctor spent explaining things. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: I love this dental office! My child got hit with an elbow to his mouth and it knocked his tooth lose. They got him in for an emergency visit and fixed it! I was a worried mama for a minute! I take all my kids here..they are so patient with my youngest child. Very caring thoughtful and they do their job. Really nice people in this office! I would refer anyone to them!

Fantastic experience: I can’t brag enough about this office! Today was our first orthodontist appointment here instead of just the dental side and we were so pleased. Dr. Josh is so nice and made my daughter and myself feel so comfortable about the road ahead with braces. And Lexi is so personable and professional! I have 2 more boys that will need all this in the near future and they will be going nowhere else but here!!

Negative experience: I came to the appointment with my special needs child for the doctor to look at her teeth with a mirror. No cleaning, no nothing but yet will bill her insurance for the appointment. My daughter has been a patient for about 5 ish years now and there’s a regular protocol to follow which was not done at all. I drove all the way from across town for my time to be wasted and given a goody bag. My first disappointment with Cumberland.

Fantastic experience: We've been using Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry for a few years now and we've always received great care. My children have never been afraid or apprehensive about their dental visits here. My oldest had a traumatic dental visit at another dental office in Clarksville and Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry did a great job easing her fears and creating an environment where she felt safe. It took about a year but now she enjoys her dental visits. I was really impressed with the dentists and staff this past weekend. My son had what we thought was a dental emergency over the weekend and Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry provided great communication on a Sunday, instructions for immediate care, and offered a follow up appointment the next day. I felt supported and informed through the entire process. I definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate and quality Pediatric dental care. I wish I would have started my children out here but I'm glade we have them now. Thank you guys for all you do for us.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has so much anxiety over even the smallest procedures. Today during her appointment to have her molars sealed she was nervous but the gentleman that taking care of her was so kind and patient with her.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an orthodonist evaluation today. The Doctor came in and answered all my questions. They did multiple xrays and pictures to see how her teeth were coming in. We decided at that point that our plan would be to wait and watch my daughter's teeth and see if they shift any before we proceed with braces or retainers. All in all a great experience.

Positive experience: I’ll start by saying we have gone to this dentist for a few years now with no complaints UNTIL TODAY’S APPOINTMENT! I take my daughter in today to have her dental work done. Work that requires her be sedated because of her anxiety from a traumatic incident at a different clinic. I am always VERY conscious about the process, the plan, and even who will be doing the work. I purposely plan her appointments to ensure that she is seeing the same dentist, that she is seen as early as possible so her belly isn’t empty for longer than necessary, and talk to her about the appointment for days/weeks in advance so she is prepared for what is going to happen. Days before the appointment she kept telling me that the “sleepy juice” tastes horrible and I reminded her that she has done it before but do it quickly and it won’t be so bad. WELL TODAY, the tech/nurse/dental staff that took us into the room had me fill out the papers per usual, I told her my daughter could just drink it from the cup as she has in the past, and she left to go get the sleepy juice, my daughters dentist comes in and starts to tell me the plan for the appointment, immediately I’m taken aback because the plan he tells me isn’t the plan we had discussed the month prior at her cleaning, so he tells me he will confirm the plan and let me know (I never see him again), the dental staff getting the sleepy juice returns with two cups, one with the sleepy juice and with with water per usual. When the cup passes in front of my face I can smell the sleepy juice and immediately I understand why my daughter doesn’t want to drink it (it smells like vomit) but she has done it in the past no I encourage her, she asks if the dental staff can do the syringe method, so we try that, as soon as she squirts it in my daughters mouth, she goes to swallow and spits it out, I grab tissues and wipe her face and encourage her to try again this time with the cup, the dental staff returns with a new cup of water and paper towels and I convince my daughter to try again, she tips the cup back, chases it with water attempts to swallow and gags, spitting up most if not all of the sleepy juice, as I leave the room again to go get more tissues, the dental staff stays to my daughter “you are to big to be doing this” EXCUSE ME!!!! That stuff smells like vomit, I bet it doesn’t taste any better and you are going to criticize a child for not wanting to swallow it. UNACCEPTABLE!! After that the staff was short with me, they would only answer my questions with repeated information over and over, while my child is in the back, which is anxiety inducing on its own, but now they want to be condescending, I was so angry and anxious at this point I had to call my husband (who was getting ready for work) to come to the facility because I could no longer keep my composure. The staff handled things very poorly and I will be looking for a different dental office that is respectful to both the parents and especially the CHILDREN they interact with.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walker is so sweet and amazing with all of the kids. Highly recommend bringing your littles here for their cleanings, treatment, and orthodontics if needed!

Ps I don't remember the hygiene name that was my 1st time going I get her name when go back & post it.

If you’re looking for the BEST pediatric dentist for your kiddos in Clarksville, I would 10000% recommend Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry. Our experience initially started as a second opinion due to a poor experience elsewhere. Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry actually listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and REALLY took their time looking at our 6 year olds teeth. They aren’t in it for the money, they’re in it for the kids and it shows. After being price gouged, uncomfortable, and unhappy previously at a different dentist office - our experience here was completely different. The staff were great! From the front desk at check in, the dental assistants, the Dentist, and the treatment planner - our experience was truly a 10/10. We’re so happy we trusted our gut to get a second opinion.
