Negative experience: Horrible dentist office horrible front desk. They never have appointments.they gave me an appointment for 9 am but said sent an email 9-9:30 I went 9:10 made it an issue waited till 10:30 wasn’t seen because I would have to wait till all there patients are done. Now the care issue I had taken her in April 23 there was no mention she was getting her adult teeth and over crowding might occur I brought her in because they came out and the front are over crowding. Now I need to find a new dentist that actually knows how to be proactive about there patients.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I made an appointment with Small World Dentistry! They made my 4-year-old daughter feel calm and excited the entire time. The hygienist, Kristen, was amazing—she really listened to my concerns, offered helpful suggestions, and was incredibly patient with my daughter. She explained every step in a way my daughter could understand and made the whole experience so positive. My daughter is already asking when she can go back!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely fell in love with this place what was suppose to be a place we visited for a second opinion is now going to be long term care for our son. They are all so very professional, kind , patient, most importantly honest, and the process my son went through for a tooth extraction was absolutely amazing the process was quick and smooth I didn’t even realize his tooth was out and my son was so quiet and calm for a 4 year old. Love it and highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: They are extremely patient, I had to call to make an emergency appointment luckily they were able to fit me in the next day , we weren’t guaranteed any solution but more so to see what’s the underlying issue . We got there and was called in within 20 min, my daughter ended up having to have 2 tooth extractions which they were able to do for us same day luckily. My daughter ended up having a meltdown they were very patient and understanding(she’s 8)They talked my Kid through every step to calm her down and explain what they were doing . Overall great experience this is my second time coming here, procedure was quick and painless (more fear than anything) and the wait wasn’t bad. I was referred here by friends that all take their children here also.

All the staff are so nice especially the girl doing X ray and hygienist name Monica, I really appreciate how she treated and CARED my child during the entire progress, she is also beyond professional!

Fantastic experience: 3rd time here. We are very happy with our hygienist, Krystal. She is so great with my son. New dentist today, she was also great with my son. 2nd time here and still happy. First visit, Did not wait long. Staff was friendly. The hygienist, Krystal was so great with my 5 year old. Dr. Sinha was very nice, I was waiting for a recommendation that my son would need a tongue tie because I feel all the dentists do that these days but he did not even though he said he had a slight tongue tie. My son was happy and did great. The place is not filled with toys which I was happy about so my son was not overstimulated. Overall a very pleasant experience. One recommendation is more flavors of toothpaste, just because my son did not like any. :)

The hygienist ensured I was comfortable during my teeth cleaning, which made the experience much better. The front desk receptionists do their best to make appointments work for their patients. Positive experience: The office has a super friendly staff. They are so patient and accommodating to my daughter’s needs. I would prefer to see the same dentist and not have to see multiple dentist. All dentist have been amazing but having to introduce a new dentist to my daughter every visit, can make it difficult to ease my daughter’s anxious behavior. Also, non handicap individuals always park in the handicap spots. It’s better to park in the street.

Fantastic experience: Great experience for my 4 & 3 year old kids. I was worried since it was their first time but they were patient and explained what they were doing to the child doesn’t get scared. After the appointment the kids got a token for the toy machine which is always a plus! See you in 6 months

Fantastic experience: My daughter, 6, was seen here for the first time today. The whole process from check in to scheduling our next appointment was a breeze! The staff who helped us were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The lady that did my daughter's initial cleaning and X-rays was super sweet to my daughter and great bedside manner with me. The Dr. that followed was knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend this place. Clean and respectful staff. That a winner for a mom! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going here since she was 2 yrs old and she's now 8. I cannot say enough good things about this practice! Dr Sinha is lovely, soft spoken and kind with a gentle demeanor. He's a perfect fit for my easily overstimulated child. She was diagnosed with lip and cheeks ties at a young age. She receives speech services and Dr Sinha advised me to consult with her service provider to determine if any of her sound formations were related to her specific ties. After being told no, he told me that a procedure would not be necessary. I trust him implicitly. My child is a NIGHTMARE at the dentist. At the age of 2, she stood on the chair and repeatedly screamed, "HELP!" out the window to patients as they entered. This while we waited for the dentist to enter after the hygienist had only BRUSHED her teeth. She has sensory issues and dentist appts are a source of anxiety for both of us. No amount of bribing can get her through these visits. The dentists are so patient and most of the hygienists too. Everything changed for the better 7 months ago when we met JESSICA. I just scheduled an appointment and cannot believe I didn't leave this amazing hygienist a review yet. Our 1st visit with Jessica, I was so worried because it was in the newly renovated downstairs, which is a large room with multiple chairs. Until then, we had always been in a private room. I was so stressed thinking she would be overwhelmed by other people and the procedures they were having. I could not have been more wrong. Jessica was beyond patient, but more importantly, she made my child SO comfortable and at no time made her feel rushed. My daughter went from a child who had to be held down just to have her teeth counted & brushed to having a treatment done without a single tear shed and in record time. I was the one crying in gratitude and disbelief when it was over. We went the following week to have her teeth sealed. Jessica to the rescue again. While my child didn't cry, she was scared and took some coaxing to get one side done. I thought for sure we would have to leave and come back to do the other side. Jessica's day was over and we were her last patient. Instead of encouraging me to reschedule, Jessica told my daughter she had all the time in the world, we could take a break and she would stay as long as we needed. My child relaxed and took a good 15 minutes to be ready. The 2nd side was finished in less than a minute, all because she let my child go at her own pace. This selfless act made a world of difference to my baby. My daughter asked me, "Can I always have Jessica from now on?" I'm so grateful someone took the time to build trust. It helps that she's also, stunningly beautiful and my daughter looks at her as a role model. In regards to wait times, most people look for after-school times. If you can only go after school or on school breaks, expect it to be busy. Expect to wait. Mornings are best. Take the early appointment. Also, remember, sometimes you're waiting because of lovely hygienists, like Jessica, who are taking their time with the children who need it most. Is your child one of them? Take that into consideration before getting impatient while you wait. I know I do. Our next appt? Late morning during the school day. I'm pulling her out, so she can see Jessica. ❤️

Negative experience: The worst experience ever. I chose to bring my daughter here instead of taking her to our doctor in Brooklyn and ended up wasting the same amount of time I would spend commuting back and forth to the Brooklyn doctor. Very unprofessional front desk, total miscommunication on their side caused the whole mess with our appointment deal. I wanted to transfer my kids for their dental needs to this office, after this appointment I changed my mind completely. I rather drive over an hour to our old dentist than coming back to this place.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist and dentist were both patient and thorough with my three year old son… they made him feel comfortable and he enjoyed his trip to the dentist. He also loved the little toy in the gum ball machine that he got after his visit was complete.

Fantastic experience: This place is the most Amazing Pediatric office!!! My son was petrified of the dentist after a very traumatic experience at a different Pediatric office, when he was only 4, to the point where I would have anxiety whenever he would have an appointment coming up because I knew how emotional and exhausting it was going to be! Finding Small World Dental was a total game changer!!! The whole staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient (especially when a child is scared or nervous) The office is very quick and always accommodating! My Son's fear of the dentist is almost non-existent since we started going to Small World Dental and that has made all the difference!!! I highly recommend using this office, especially if your child is afraid of the dentist..they are unbelievable!!!

Be it know they also accept almost all insurance. No long wait and each of my boys were attended to timely I totally recommend!!

Positive experience: We really like the love with which they treat children, the patience, my children like to go to the dentist, the Colombian doctor is very sweet, thank you for your loving attention, it would be great if they attended on Saturdays since due to schedules and schools it is sometimes difficult to arrive on time, many times the traffic is heavy and one arrives late, many of us do not live close, we cross the island for such a beautiful service but the traffic is impossible sometimes.

Fantastic experience: Always a nice place. Get seen your appointment time or close to it. Great hygienists and dentists. Update, wow how things have changed, this is like walking into a sweat shop. The waiting room is always full, not a seat to be had, the wait is long, and the office staff would rather talk to each other than take care of the patient. I waited over five minutes when I walked in just to speak to one of the five office staff while they spoke to each other about their plans for after work. It’s a shame.

Negative experience: I heard this place was really good, we didn’t have a good experience any time I went. There is one receptionist who is always so rude to us. My daughter was supposed to be sedated, we made the appointment and everything on the day the doctor would be there to administer it (since laughing gas didn’t work for her) and instead they give her a needle to numb her. I asked if it was enough because my daughter screamed in pain the entire time and when I asked the doctor to stop, he continued pulling her tooth anyway. He showed no care or sympathy and immediately left the room when he was finished. My daughter has sensory processing disorder and the dentist is a very scary thing for her. I am so hurt that I had to witness my baby screaming like that and pissed off that they disrespected my wishes as her mother and went against what I asked them to do for her so that this experience wasn’t scary and traumatizing for the future.

Fantastic experience: They were great with my 2 and 3 year old. No tears for either child. They all took the time out to explain what was happening. Very kid friendly. No wait. Updating: saw the doctor again for a laser lip tie for my almost 2 year old. Everyone was very nice. Took 30 seconds. My daughter cried for 10 of those seconds and walked out smiling and laughing. Update- another successful appt and waited 15 min.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience. The doctors and staff were incredibly friendly. Even though we were a bit late to the appointment they didn’t neglect us and we were seen 30 minutes later. Recommend coming here!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience for my daughter. All staff was sweet and patient with my daughter. We were seen quick, the office was very well kept and kid-friendly. They explained there were many services happening at once so I didn’t get the impression that I was being skipped. We were sitting there waiting- 3 families came in after us and they went before us while we were on time. If they’re late make them wait. The office is very nice to all kids otherwise.

Negative experience: Had to wait an hour and 20 mins after appointment time for my daughter to finally be seen. Was told certain steps would be taken for complete a future cavity procedure. Then they left 3 front teeth black saying they couldn’t do it the white filling properly on my 2 year old because she wouldn’t cooperate (Sit still) . They only attempted to do 2 of the teeth with just small dots of whit so the 2 of her teeth are mixed with black and white. They left the third tooth completely black. They did not express this to me when giving me the options. My options were to continue to brush and monitor her teeth or go with the procedure and fill it in with a black stain then after a week have it covered with white as a safety barrier. They never told me I wouldn’t be possible to cover them with the white if she wouldn’t sit still. I would have chosen the option to monitor than have her stay with black stains on her front teeth but I asked multiple times “they will be able to cover it with white filling” when given this option and was told “of course” I was very upset and unhappy leaving.
