Fantastic experience: Could not be more thankful for such an amazing Dentistry for our family! Our son looks forward to his dentist appointments and Dr. Alleman and the whole staff is so great! Our daughter has special needs and is non-verbal. Dr. Keith Van Tassell is beyond wonderful with her!! Him and his staff are so patient, understanding and make it an enjoyable visit for all! So recommended for all kiddos! Thanks for your care!

I’ve had to cancel appointments before last minute and try to sneak the kids in last minute before the school year and Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies has always been accommodating and super helpful without any judgment! The assistant and the dentist made sure to take extra time and never rushed my kiddo when he got nervous at any point of the process. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, my three month old had a suspected lip tie that made everything very difficult. i brought her in and it turned out she had a lip and tongue tie. Dr. Keith was the one who worked with my daughter and the entire experience was perfection. I was extremely nervous going in but i left feeling relieved. If your child has a lip or tongue tie I HIGHLY recommend this place. Its been 24 hours since she was there and she already eats and sleeps better!

Negative experience: This isn’t a review that I wanted to be put in a position to write but as a mother, I’m having a hard time moving forward from what happened. Unfortunately, this dental practice is an absolute kid factory. Our child has been a patient at this office since she was 2 years old- loyalty for 9 years. I scheduled an extra cleaning the day after she had her expander and braces removed for a good reset. My daughter experienced a chemical exposure, laying down on a chair that was oversaturated with Cavicide chemicals and not allowed proper time to dry, exposing her bare skin on arms and legs to be exposed. She immediately jumped out of the chair when she felt the wetness. The dental assistant didn’t know what to do or say and we regretfully continued with the appointment. The cleaning itself showed multiple red flags of inexperience. When we checked out at the front desk, I requested to speak to someone about the incident and was met with the office manager. I shared our experience and how upset that I was but walked away with- “they are trained better than that” and “this is a teachable moment.” My daughter was not well cared for, all trust was lost and as a mother, I was not seen or heard. We are a family that is conscious of what we put into and onto our bodies. This should have never happened to her. It’s a foundational skill of competence to work with these chemicals including proper dry time. I wrote an email requesting this incident be escalated when I got home. I was met with the same office manager calling me from her personal cell phone. She was unprofessional and I felt stone walled. On the phone, she told me that they had done remediation with the dental assistant and the dentist and hygienist were “in agreement” that there was an overuse of chemicals with inadequate dry time allowed. I had our records transferred the next morning to a smaller practice and a few days after that, the new dentist cleaned my daughter’s teeth herself, removing plenty of build up that was not addressed at the previous appointment. I wrote a follow up email to the dentist who was working the day this happened. He did call me personally after reading my email, but I feel that he should have called me the day it happened. There was no cause for concern, attempt at service recovery or compensation offered. I requested the appointment not be billed to our dental insurance but it had already been sent. The new dentist couldn’t bill our insurance because of the appointment submitted a few days prior. Pediatric Dentistry did reimburse my for the new dentist bill per my request.

Fantastic experience: They have now seen all 3 of my kids aged 1, 5, and 10. They did so great with all 3 of them. My 5 year old unfortunately needed IV sedation for some of his dental work and they took great care of him. They are not judgemental and I feel like they really talked us through the best options and what insurance would cover vs what they wouldn't. We've met both the Dr's and they are very nice and great with kids.

Negative experience: Gave me the bill for sons up coming procedure then when we show up the price magically doubled. Very rude when trying to setup payment plan then they took to much out on auto payment. Bunch of crooks

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zac and his team are awesome! They all took such great care of my son and did what they could to make him comfortable being there and letting them look in his mouth. 10/10 recommend taking your kiddos to see him or Dr. Keith.

Fantastic experience: We have been receiving dental care from Dr Van Tassell and Dr Alleman for many years! They have always been so friendly and helpful with our kids receiving cleaning and needed treatments. They ask the kids how they're doing and talk with them about the activities they're involved in during their visit. All of the staff are excellent in their interactions with children. Dr Van Tassell and Dr Alleman are kind and professional, possess the most up-to-date knowledge and skills, and have always taken the best care of our kids' dental health!

Fantastic experience: While routine check ins have been absolutely wonderful, we have to take a moment to give our biggest thank you to Dr. Zach and Jackie for helping us with an emergency situation after hours. Our one year old had an incident that needed immediate assistance and Dr. Zach and Jackie both came in after the office closed to help us. They were beyond kind and handled the situation with calmness and expertise. They made an extremely hard situation so much better and we cannot recommend this entire team enough. We felt so well cared for and extremely grateful for this office. If you are looking for a place to take your kids, this is absolutely the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Pediatric dentistry of the Rockies was able to get our baby girl scheduled really fast and was seen by Dr. Keith, he was thorough, professional and very kind. My little girl had a lip tie and tongue tie and was able to get the procedure to fix it, same appointment. Definitely recommend this office for your littles dental/oral needs.

Fantastic experience: We were referred here by our midwife, and we felt very well taken care of. We had a thorough consultation and no pressure to do anything same day. We did choose to go ahead with getting our son’s ties released same day and it was so quickly done. Our baby was back in our arms just as calm as he had been before he went back. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies for over 16 years and have had nothing but positive experiences every time. Amazing doctors and staff!! Two of my kids stayed with them until they were 22 and 21 and my 17 year old son is still with them. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your kiddos there!

The entire team who interacted with him really went above and beyond. I was so impressed and SO thankful that it was such a good experience for him. Updating this review again 5/15/2025: our 3 kids have each gone twice since the last update. Still the same great experience. One of our kids had a cavity, and the procedure to fix it was about as smooth as I think it can go with a kid. Fantastic experience: I don’t write reviews very often, so when I do, it’s pretty meaningful. This office is hands down amazing. They make you and your child feel comfortable every single step of the way. As well as the dentists. This is our 2nd visit and they have seriously been phenomenal! I can’t imagine taking my child anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Van Tassel is bar none the best pediatric dentist in Ft. Collins and beyond. We travel from greeley so i wluld know. His office is spacious and always clean. All the girls on his staff are gentle, kind, and very professional. They greet you with a smile and always do impeccable work. The Docs are never too busy to answer questions, always do minimal interventions, and never ever recommend unnecessary work. Sadly, that has not been our experience in the past with other dentist. My children have thankfully been coming here for almost 7 years and i couldnt be more grateful. These guys genuinely care for your kids and they do fantastic work. Whether its Dr Van Tassel or his partner Dr Zach rest assured your kids are great hands. Every parent should consider Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies for their children's dental needs. I would absolutely recommend this place to any and everybody I know. This place deserves 20 stars.

Fantastic experience: They offer such amazing service for all 3 of my kids. My middle daughter needs more time to warm up to new dental services. They allow her to watch her siblings get their teeth cleaned or get X-rays before trying anything new on her. It’s a safe, no pressure environment.

We have been going there since my son was 2 and I really appreciate how they make the exams kid centered and encouraged them to develop good tooth care hygiene. Fantastic experience: It was our first time here and I’m happy we were referred by another dentist. They were all very friendly! The Dr that saw us was so helpful. There was a mistake with my husband’s employer and my son wasn’t added to insurance, he needs a crown but the Dr killed the cavity to buy us some time, which is so appreciated and helpful. The Dr went over everything with me and gave me options. I also appreciated that the assistant asked about fluoride use up front. We will definitely be using them moving forward.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Sophie, Jackie and Dr. Zack was over the top amazing. They make you feel so safe, he took such good care of my son. They laughed during the whole appointment and made it enjoyable somehow. They are the best dentist around!

Fantastic experience: Today was our first visit with Dr. Alleman and we had a great experience. My daughter is very scared of the dentist but Dr. Alleman and his team made us all feel at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and is willing to take the time to explain everything. Most importantly, he was honest and saved us from having to put our 4 year old daughter with Autism through unnecessary dental work.

Fantastic experience: Great place for kids dental care! I was referred by my current child’s dentist to do oral sedation and they took amazing care of my son. The staff was pleasant and kept me informed. I appreciate the knowledge of Dr. Keith. He even reached out the same day of the procedure to ensure my some was recovering well. I feel like they truly cared about the well being of my kiddo.

Fantastic experience: My son has an accident at home injuring his lip and teeth. They were able to get patient in the morning I called. His dentist and staff were calm and thorough. As a mom, I was put at ease. He is now doing well (as they said) one week later.

Fantastic experience: Since my son’s first Dentist visit, 8 years ago, we have been loyal to Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies. The wait to get back in the chair has always been around 5 minutes, all of their staff are so friendly and the Dentists themselves are as good as you’re going to get in Northern Colorado. I’ve never had a bad visit in and it’s relieving as a Mother for your kids to enjoy the Dentist. Thanks Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies!!

Fantastic experience: Have been here a few times for my almost 4 year old and each time it's been great! the staff is super nice/informative and make you feel comfortable with whatever is going on. most recently we had gotten some cavities filled and the procedure was super quick and easy! the environment is perfect for kiddos I definitely recommend! we went back for a regular check up and the pleasant atmosphere stayed the same! the dental hygienist was super friendly and great with my 4 year old and so was the dentist. the token at the end is definitely a motivator for my son and makes the whole experience fun for him! edit; still 5 stars after 4+ years! we have added two kids to our family and they have done great with our schedule and needs. Our oldest was recently diagnosed AuDHD and they have been so patient with all his sensory needs. our two year old has opened up and has been seen about three times now and each visit gets better and better. we also have a baby who will be seen at our next visit for a dental exam but also had a lip and tongue tie revision here shortly after birth! there keep is kind, transparent, and accommodating. i will always recommend coming here!

Negative experience: Customer care is deeply lacking when it comes to insurance. We scheduled an appointment well in advanced so the clinic could check with our insurance to see what would be covered. Never did we get a call with information on issues with our insurance. We finalized the appointment, booked a hotel since we are several hours away. We arrived bright and early, again no mention on any issues on insurance with the gal at the desk and they only had me pay for the sedation knowing that insurance wouldn’t cover it. It was unsettling not being able to be in the room with my 3yo during the procedure. But that is how they do it there. Afterwords the follow up with the Dr who performed the work was nice. Three months after our appointment insurance sent the EOB and said that my balance owed was just the sedation that I had already paid for. A month after that I get a text message from the dental office saying that I owe more. Never did I receive a bill through email or even in the mail. After text and email correspondence with the office they refused to give me any explanation to why I wasn’t informed on the insurance issues from the beginning. And they take no responsibility for anything on that matter, telling me it was my responsibility to check with my insurance prior. We had prior dental care at their sister office and our insurance covered that without issue. I haven’t reviewed a new EOB from my insurance saying otherwise, but the clinic is adamant that we owe. So we paid. I hope that other people have a better experience then we did. I know we will seek our dental care elsewhere.

Who knew because it’s like pulling teeth at home. The best part is they even took care of their cavities the same day, which makes it so easy for me to not have to come back another day. Fantastic experience: Beautiful, playful building that's clearly designed to put kids at ease. All of the people (front desk, dental assistants, hygienists, dentists) were incredibly kind to us and our child and were infallibly cheery to keep or child at ease. They all had tricks to introducing my child to new instruments and asked for my child's consent while still maintaining control of the procedure at every step. I felt very confident making choices in my child's care because of how thoroughly our diagnosis, options, and future procedures were explained. They're so knowledgeable and gave me more information than I could've thought to ask.

Fantastic experience: We are new to the area and haven't had great luck with our past dentist. Dr. Keith and his staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! They made us a next day appt (for a new patient!) and the office seems to be a well oiled machine. As for Dr. Keith, he is very calm and friendly which, for my daughter, was perfect...she felt totally comfortable! *Update - today all 3 of my kids saw Dr. Zack and he's incredibly nice and great with the kids too! Front office staff & the dental assistants were awesome as usual.* *Update 2/2025 - My son seems to have increasing issues with sensory things and anxiety. We went in yesterday and he was totally freaked out (never happened before) and it was a really stressful situation. Aida and Jackie were SO kind and patient. Got to the bottom of his issue (apparently he REALLY doesn't like the texture of the toothpast) and cleaned his teeth in a way that was comfortable for him. Their kindness and care was exactly the help I needed yesterday.

He has been amazing with my kids over the past 12 years and has been an important adult for them to trust both professionally and personally. We truly appreciate the care and attention he has given us and highly recommend Dr. Keith and his staff to other families.

Fantastic experience: We had an emergency on a Friday afternoon with my son an hour before they were closing and we just moved to the area so we were brand new and they quickly got us scheduled within the hour! They were amazing with our toddler son and even got him laughing and feeling so comfortable during his X-rays. Fantastic experience: My son hasn’t had a great experience at his previous dentist (and he’s only two!). He felt safe and welcomed at your facility. He didn’t cry and was excited to brush the monkeys teeth while he waited for the dentist. He knows how important it is to brush his teeth and get rid of those sugar bugs. The employees at your facility went above and beyond to help him feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Our pediatrician referred us here to get my daughter’s tongue and lip tie fixed. All staff and doctors were well educated, polite and reassuring. It was a quick five minute procedure and the doctor even did a follow-up phone call the next day! I would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Always so kind, clean, and kid friendly!! The staff and dentists are amazing. They have always been honest with us and we’ve never felt taken advantage of. The kids are so comfortable here and have been coming since they were toddlers and we have 3 kiddos and never plan to leave!

Negative experience: My daughter never got her treatment. I have never walked out of an appointment in my life. I live in Greeley drove to Fort Collins. Had my appointment at 930 am. We arrived at 905am. Watched at least 10 family's go before us when we arrived first. I understand there are logistics behind the scenes that we dont understand but an hour is ridiculous. We left at 1030am because 1 hour wait is ridiculous. We were told our child can't eat or drink as a 3 year old is hard let alone another hour added. No one came out to say sorry we are so behind, we over booked ect. I understand waiting 20 mins but 1 hour?! Then they called they were ready as we were pulling out of the parking lot. I have never had this experience I so maybe I am wrong. I just know 1 hour is ridiculous. This is the txt of my time to be there,and then them calling me to say he was ready as we were leaving. No hate just my experience.

Fantastic experience: We came for the first time today with my 2 year old. The hygienist was amazing and was able to do both polishing and fluoride! The dentist was also very good and gave amazing and reasonable recommendations about pacifiers etc!

Fantastic experience: This was such a fabulous experience. It was my 2 year olds first time at the dentist and they were so gentle and kind. Would recommend to any parent!

Fantastic experience: The whole staff at this office really cares about your child(ren) and making sure they are comfortable and know what’s going one. Both of my kiddos have had extensive dental procedures done and the Doctor's have been so kind and gentle with them and really take the time to explain the procedures to the parents.

Fantastic experience: We went in for a referral from our pediatrician about a tongue tie. I called on Tuesday and they were able to get us in in Thursday. We were in and out in less than an hour with a consult and the procedure all completed. Alicia and Dr. Zach were amazing! They were so kind and very thorough, they explained everything as we went through the whole process. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Thank you for always providing a positive experience for my children! We drive several hours one way to come see you and it is always worth our time and travel. Today my daughter had a couple cavities fixed (age 7) and when we left she said “mom that was easy”. Seriously the best experience we could have asked for.

Fantastic experience: My son was there for a tongue and lip tie and Dr. Zach was great explaining things to us and caring for my newborn during the process! Definitely recommend this place to others!
